Took long time to get a drink from waitress other than that nice clean and cool. I would go back.

My grandmother wanted to come here for her birthday. The food at the resturant was great, but unfortunantly I'll admit I'm a bit biased against strictly chance-based casino games which is the only type of games I saw/played. She did pretty well and came out ahead, but between all of us even with her winnings we left in the negative. It's a business and the house always wins. Personally I'd rather stay home and play my own video games which are skill based and don't cost me a net loss of $20 every hour.

Great room, good food. Had 2 $800 handpays about 12 hours apart. One issue I have is that they offered me a free room, but since I reserved a suite, it's full price. They won't pro-rate the free room cost nor let you use your comps to cover the suite. I played (read LOST) enough money during my stay that it should have more than covered the cost of the suite.

Best food in town by far. Never had a bad meal service is always great. Repeat customers for sure.

They will steal your soul. The video poker is garbage, no Royals, constant, consistent losses. Lost tens of thousands, quickly. Slots… aren't bad. Colorado Gaming Commission and state law keeps slots around 90% payback and up which is better than most Indian casinos. But the video poker is pure cancer and probably rigged illegally. Comps are just "so so" — — I'm a top player, top-tier card holder yet only got $100 per week in free play. What a joke. Miner's Pick restaurant is pretty good, employees are good. I'll never be back, they lost another customer. People are tired of being scammed.

Great food and atmosphere. Problematic for any under age of 21since no access to bathroom unless you are escorted through casino by security.

Fun for a while but not a long while. Best thing about this place is the help who are very friendly and helpful.

Great place to go have fun gambling and get some good food. Free drinks awesome, hotel has really nice rooms.

My wife and I had a great stay at the hotel, and really good dining at Dynamite Dick's. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were wonderful and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The gaming area is a bit congested and noisy, but that's a casino for you. I recommend a stay at McGill's.

The service and hospitality we received were amazing! This is by far our favorite place in Cripple Creek!

Casino was wack, bronco billy's was my favorite, just seemed much nicer than the rest with a better staff.

Fun atmosphere, lots of slot machine options to choose from. T. V. 's mounted at excellent locations within casino in order to watch sports while playing slot machines.

McGills is a decent hotel and casino. The rooms in the hotel are small. Tip : get the double queen room and it is about double the size of the other rooms. They are not fancy by any means, but generally you aren't going to spend much time in them. The casino is fine, small, but decent variety of games. Their sister casino "The Brass *ss" is much larger and has table games.

Park on the 4th floor in the parking gargage to get to the hotel quickly. It's right in the middle of all the casinos and they have a shuttle to take you back and forth to wildwood if you want. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. None of the rooms in cripple creek have microwaves or fridges that I've ever stayed in. And honestly that's okay because we typically only stay one day and if you gamble enough you'll get food comps.

I went here with my honey. Sure do miss the good ol days.

Got a free nights stay in the royal suite. One of the coolest rooms I've got to stay in. Fireplace and hot tub inside the room. If you get the chance stay in one of the themed suites.

Very nice room. Staff were great. Can't wait to go again.

My wife and I love this place, stopped here for a night to break up the drive to Durango. The history in these buildings are amazing, plus a fun casino. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Colorado.

A beautiful drive up Highway 9 out of Canyon City, worth the extra time it took to get there. $100 gets you a lot of fun playing the slots JP McGill's brass and the midnight Rose our mainstay place to go in Cripple Creek. Just wish the waitress would make her way around a little more frequently.

We absolutely love this place, very clean, if you are out of something or need it, they will get it for you, price is the best, people, oh wow, they are great, if it wasn't the best we wouldn't have stayed here at least twice a year for the past 36 years… LOVE IT Great job here.

Visited Cripple Creek last week (Aug. 31st-Sept 1st), played all the casinos. Everyone was nice and friendly, until the last morning. The morning of the 1st we went in to play some slots before leaving and there was a woman sitting at a machine with a "hold the machine" paper on it, not playing for 20 minutes. Then she put $10 in and sit another 20 minutes not playing the machine and then got up and left yet again with the sign on machine. She was gone for a good 20 minutes. I asked the security guard that was present if we could remove the sign and play the machine. The security guard lied to my face and said the woman had been gone for 4 minutes. She was very rude and when I turned to walk away she popped off to my back that I would be arrested if I touched the machine or removed the card. Since we were leaving I just let it go. But the more I think about it, it really irritates me that the guard was so rude. I am not against holding a machine to go get money, visit restroom or eat, but I am against holding a machine when you are clearly not playing it and you know people are wanting to play because the machine is at its jackpot limit. This lady was sitting and playing on her phone the entire time instead of kindly getting up and letting someone else play. This is where issues can come in if you dont get a better handle of people holding machines, as well as teach your security guards to treat the patrons with a little more respect.

All of their slots are set at very low payouts, at around 90% or 89% (one attendant acted like this was "high" or "normal", but it's not — — anything below about 95% is bad). I rarely see anyone win. I've played Dragons Gold and put in $200 and literally nothing hit, let alone a bonus. The Lightning bank of machines are set at 89% and boy do they suck money away fast! It's clear other casinos in town have higher payouts on the slots. I hope suckers wake up and stop giving this casino money so easily. Their comps and free play is just "OK". Very friendly staff, but there's just no reason to waste money on their LOW PAYING slots. They also set jackpots very low, around $300 on most machines, and make a big "to do" about you winning anything around that amount — — but usually you are just winning back a little bit of what you have LOST.

Still beds and pillows. For the the price it's right. Staff was nice, and rooms were clean. Rooms did have windows to no where which was interesting. Casinos could have paid out more.

You're stuck there trying to get your bus fare back and then machines are super super tight hard to win anything hard to get points better off not even worrying about your bus fare trying to get it back chances of winning improve greatly anywhere else.

Nice and clean rooms. Machines a little tight. But it was still fun and comfortable.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch. Both of our meals were delicious and the server was very attentive. Definitely would go back.

Three casinos under one roof, McGills, The Brass Ass, and Midnight Rose. Great selection of slot machines and a fun Craps table in the Brass Ass. Excellent cocktail waitresses that suggest new drinks. The snack bar downstairs in The Brass Ass has the best Chili, pizza and sandwiches served by a friendly staff. Elegant dining downstairs at Midnight Rose is a treat. Parking protected in parking garage. If you choose to spend the night, the rooms at McGills are clean and cozy.
