We loved our little room! It was the “Moose room”. Very clean & tidy. Decor was all moose themed. Had a little kitchenette with a full sized coffee pot! Great place to lay your head for the night!

Love this place, it's clean and quaint, but the owners are fantastic. The rooms have full kitchens so we can cook dinners and keep our cooler cold for the day. The owners are friendly and allowed us an early check-in. The rooms are nicely themed with wildlife, we stayed in the Eagle room last time and this time we got the Horse Room, perfect for days in Sand Wash Basin which is only an hour drive. Thanks for all you do to make this feel like a home away from home.

We love the rustic look. The place is clean, comfortable and the people are so kind and friendly. We have stayed here twice and plan on staying here whenever we are traveling in this area. It is one of the best places. The prices are very reasonable. We recommend this to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable and inexpensive place to stay. Our first stay was in the bear themed room and the second in the Native American themed room. Thank you for making our visit and stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

A little dated but the beds were comfortable and it had a full kitchen can't beat it for the price.

Good for the price, but didn’t get a good night’s sleep — pillows were lumpy, air conditioning didn’t run throughout the area, and fans were noisy.

Love the Elk Run Inn. Randy and Cindy are wonderful and friendly, made us feel right at home. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with everything you need and everything works. Guests are quiet, considerate and friendly. We will stay here every time we come through.

It was a fair place to stay. The front desk employees were helpful and friendly. The only real downside goes into the upkeep, beds could use replacement and bathroom could use some updating. Still, it did the job and was just fine for the cost.

I love this place! Though an older facility, it is well maintained, comfortable, homey and secure. The owners are wonderful and very accommodating. I'd rather stay here than anywhere else.

Stayed here 4 nights while elk hunting. Room had 2 beds with kitchenette that was more than adequate with gas stove, full size fridge, plenty of cookware and utensils. Great space, outstanding value.

Great place to stay, nice to have the owners working the business for questions. The hotel is right across the street from City Market, very handy and a Starbucks is right there in City Market. The rooms are themed, I enjoyed the "Dinosaur" room. Clean, down to earth friendly place, I recommend it!

A friend and I were on a bike trip and stayed here on the 4th of July. The room we got had a separate bedroom along with one that was a bedroom/kitchen. This kitchen had everything you may need to cook, including utensils cookware and plates. While neither of us are into fishing, our room was decorated on a fishermans theme. Imagine a fishing cottage complete with fish themed wallpaper. They could have played it safe and tried to make it look like every other motel, but they didn't and we loved that. I have no idea when I will be in this part of the word again. On our 5k mile 3 week bike trip, this was hands down our best experience.

Great place, right in the middle of town, but still quiet! I really like the little kitchen, I've lived out of microwaves for years and it's great to be able to cook real food! Thanks.

We stayed there for 2 days in separate days. Love this place not just dog friendly but also cat. Yes, they take cat and we're so happy with that. Love their theme of the room. They have different theme in every room. Cleanliness is good! It is near in city market. A place that you feel like home.

Clean, inexpensive, rather "quaint" because it is old and each room has a wildlife or western "theme" which is dated but fun. Kitchenettes, too, although you have to bring your own breakfast, or go across the street to the grocery store.

Stayed one night. Gentleman at check-in was great and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. We were there on motorcycles so they made sure we were on the ground floor with the bikes right outside our door. Nice place, I would definitely stay again.

It's an older place but the rooms are nice and clean with a full kitchen. I would recommend giving it a try. Very affordable as well.

Have been staying at Elk Run Inn for 4 years now. I come to Craig to photograph the wild horses. I love this place! Randy is awesome, I always get the room whether I bring someone or I'm by myself. Each room has a different wildlife theme, which I love! It has a kitchen with a full sized fridge, stove, oven, dishes, etc. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great little motel! Good price, clean and comfortable. Had a full kitchen and utensils, which was great for us. Friendly staff and right off route 40. If we're ever back out that way we know where we'll stay.

The Elk Run Inn holds a special place in my heart. I've stayed here many, many nights while conducting field work in Moffat County. The staff is super friendly, there's great Wi-Fi, the rooms are always clean, and they each have a fun theme. Please, please never change, Elk Run Inn!

This hotel is the only kitchenette hotel I have found (as a person who basically lives in hotels 9 months out of the year) that has an oven for baking. This hotel has a laundry on site and the laundry prices are about 1/2 of what they are at the local coin laundry. The rooms are decorated for hunters but if you enjoy a rustic feel you will love it. I highly recommend this hotel. this place is kept extremely clean.

Cute, clean and efficient with a kitchen at a great price. In town in a nice setting. Walking distance to good restaurants or City Market. Friendly on site owners. As a fellow lodging provider, the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Paul.

If you like slime growing in the toilet, water stains on the ceiling, paint peeling and falling off the bathroom ceiling into the shower, and someone else's hair in the bathroom sink, then the Elk Run Inn is the place for you! There was even trash in the trash can from a previous guest, so you didn't need to leave your own. No vending machines — we were told if we wanted ice we could go across the street to the grocery store and buy some. (There were ice cubes in the freezer compartment in the kitchenette, but all things considered, we did not dare use them. ) The positive: the room air cooler worked very well.

Extremely nice staff and superb location in Craig. The rooms were well equipped with a small kitchen and all the necessary items for cooking a meal. The room was very clean and attractive as well. I will stay in the Elk Run again the next time I pass through Craig.
