We stayed in June on a CHOICE REWARDS NIGHT which Means it’s a free night. We then have a charge on our credit card for a penny. I get it I get it it’s one penny but why? I have contacted Choice Hotels who said I shouldn’t have been charged and they contacted hotel who said I would be reimbursed in 7 days. That was on June 3rd. What makes me upset is I emailed the hotel 3 times. They have never responded. Why was I charged? No reason to be a penny or not. So ridiculous! They can at least respond to emails. I put a review on another site and manger responded with I will refund you lol. Ok well at least be honest.

Horrible service! I went to check in and the man at the counter claiming he was the manager DECLINED giving me my keys because he said "I had an attitude" after the fact that he flat out told me he didn't have a room for me before he even had any of my information, then says my kids couldn't swim in the pool. This whole time I kept my cool until he says he was refusing service because he didn't like the fact that I said I would write a review on the terrible service I was given by a manager! Denying who could swim in the pool is complete crap and racist! This will spread like wildfire along with the video I have! Run spend your money elsewhere this man with an accent is ridiculous and unprofessional! Kiki (or something) his name was!

My brother doesn't have fb so I'm writing this review. My brother, his wife and 2 daughters came from Arizona to stay for 4 days. Made reservations at this Comfort Inn. They came a day early so they added on another night. No problem. My brother checked his bank statement the next day, the hotel charged him 3200.00. He called the front desk and the lady told him that it must be a computer glitch, she would look into and get it taken care of. Later that day he checked again and the charges were still on his account. He called his bank told them the hotel made a mistake and to make sure they were going to cancel the charges. The bank told him they have heard nothing from the hotel. My brother talked to the front desk again and she said oh sorry I got distracted I'll take care of that now. In the mean time my brother got a hold of choice hotels customer service center and talked to a manager. He told them there is no way that is a computer glitch as you have to enter each charge in manually. Rhonda, which is the front desk lady that fraudulently charged my brother 3200.00 was very rude and disrespectful. My brother got his money back and put a hold on his card. The hotel then told my brother he would have to pay the hotel bill in cash! My brother then proceeded to tell them he would not pay cash unless the was a police officer present as a witness to payment. My brother called the police. My brother went back to the hotel and the hotel locked him out of his room.

VERY VERY DIS-SATISFIED that the Regular Going Rate every other day of the week is between $89 and $120 per night, and Just because there is an EVENT in Town the Price was DOUBLED + some and we were Told "THAT's JUST BUSINESS" even though we were not staying there on behalf of any of the events. You price Gouged a Young Entrepreneur that works on her own money to run her own animal based business. You certainly Taught her what Unfair Business Practices are. On top of that next door to our ROOM was a POT Smoker and my Son has Asthma — — which flares up around smokers of all types. The room rate was also quoted wrong even at the inflated price, and I asked if the $250 was INCLUDING TAX and the gal said yes — — and then that was not the case. The Assistant Manager was also Not much Help and we will NEVER stay there again, with Greedy people that take advantage of the public.

The people working the desk and running this hotel is five stars in my book. The hospitality of the people that work in Fruita is outstanding and I have been very happy staying at both hotels, either the comfort inn or the Laquinta, excellent people at both places, I would have to say the breakfast at the comfort inn was a little better than Laquinta, but still give both hotels five stars. Absolutely love the town and found much better destinations to check out after our original trip to Arches. After visiting Grand Mesa and the National monuments and Cobb state park, I would not even waste time at Arches, Utah over markets its National Parks.

I dont give it one star! Customer service from check in was horrible. Walked into an elevator that smelled of urine. Then we get to our room and it was very warm and very stinky. It has been a horrible stay. I will NEVER RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! I honestly wish my family would of paid 58 dollars at Econolodge and NOT have stayed here. Never have we been treated the way we were tonight. We stay at many hotels traveling. Just insane.

Great place. Room was very clean and we'll maintained. One of very few that dose NOT allow pets in all rooms, I'm alergic to all types of pet dander. Great breakfast, wonderful Clientele, some interesting and colorful fellow travelers. Good rate and availability.

Jesse was very helpful & answered our questions. The room was quiet & very clean but the breakfast eggs/sausage were not hot, but the gravy was hot & good. The yogurt choices were excellent & glad to see bananas, not just apples & oranges.

The hardwood floor look was really cute. I really liked the town and the location. No complaints.

I'm staying on vacation. It was a small and modest place but tranquil with very friendly staff.

Just ok. Bed was a bit sunken in. Paid twice what we usually pay for much better Choice stays.

Will never stay here again, they charged $50 all because my sons bottle leaked onto the bed sheet
I thought they made washer and dryers for a reason.

The staff was great. The room was good. The shower didn't work. Sucks after a long drive. Understand it's still under construction. But hopefully it'll be better. Definitely wouldn't plan another night here.

The Fruita Choice Hotel is our favorite "stay-cation"! We always stay in the Jacuzzi room. The bed is comfortable, we like the kitchen table area and the tub is AWESOME! We always enjoy the swimming pool and hot tub. The free breakfast is good and has all the comfort food you need to start your day. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is so convenient. Anything we need or want is within walking distance. Bonus: Mc Ginnis Canyon/Devil's Canyon Trails are only a 5 minute drive. What a beautiful wonderland to explore! Then back the comfort of our cozy room at Comfort Inn!

Pet friendly, pool, hot tub free breakfast recent remodel beds were comfortable I would definitely stay again.

Decent room for the price but nothing special. Lighting in the rooms makes it feel like your in an institution.

The room was very clean and obviously recently updated. The shower was super clean and my favorite part of the room. The pool and hot tub weren't pretty, but the water was perfect, especially the hot tub. The sheets on the bed were more stiff than you would expect for sheets, but there was plenty of blankets. Breakfast was okay. Eggs weren't done all the way, but the waffles were awesome. They were mini waffles! An employee kept everything orderly and full stocked while we ate. Very attentive. We had a great stay.

It was very accommodating for my big marching band group. A very clean and good hotel.

Reasonable lighting. Inadequate number of towels and nothing special. We were in the business King room. Microwave, fridge and small desk area. Good outlets. Nice pool and hot tub. Complimentary breakfast. Large screen TV with good quality picture. Bed unfortunately not comfortable.

The room was nice and clean beds were comfortable. But they charged us $50 for smoking in the room which we defiantly did not do. If you stay there document your room take pictures, we didn't and can't prove that we didn't smoke in the room and got stuck with a bogus charge.

Come on guys. Are you kidding me. 145 a night and I get stuck in a 2nd floor room right above the smoking area. My kids and I arrived this evening after the fall festive had ended and there wasn't a single parking place available. One guy we double parked. Another guy was parked with his trailer in 5 spots and me, single mom With 3 kids one of which is 1 yrs old had to park across the field in the dirt parking lot. AND then my key did not work in the back door. How perfect. The front desk guy CORY was super rude at the front desk. Is there a single hotel that knows how to run a businesses? Just one? I mean 145 dollars, and all I can smell in my room is cigarette smoke. Give me a break people. What a flipping joke. Your better off saving your money and staying at the super 8 across three street.

The rooms are very nice, employees are always friendly. We stop here every time we drive through. It is located near a lot of places to eat too.

Great service and very clean. We loved the location right by the dinosaur museum for our boys, and minutes to the Colorado National Monument. Also, the biking is fantastic!

Comfortable bed. Dinosaur museum, Vietnam veterans memorial, Colorado River State Park within walking distance. Normal hotel breakfast available. AC works well. Lots of food options available in area.

I've had nicer check ins but breakfast and check our were pleasant. Clean and reasonably priced place to stay. It's nice having a hot breakfast to eat before hitting the road.

Perfect place in town close to family. The indoor pool was a great time to relax. Staff was outstanding to our needs. Thanks and see you soon.

Clean room enjoyed the jacuzzi and swimming pool their staff was very nice and helpful very convenient.

Gentleman at the front desk in the evening was helpful & received a good rate. Our room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was satisfying. Only thing was the housekeeper knocked on our door twice, when the first time we told her we'd be out before checkout. Overall, good hotel definitely be back.

We checked in needed 1 room 2 queen beds. Lady was so friendly, made sure our car was visible from room. AWESUM clean, soft linens great breakfast, full breakfast. An did I say CLEAN…
