The location is on the outskirts of Boulder and set back from the road. There is a large car park, but also a direct bus route to the city centre. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff were very helpful and polite.
We were allocated a room at the back overlooking an industrial facility that had a generator operating. After speaking to reception we were provided with another room.
Dining facilities within a short walking distance as only breakfast available.

Ski, hike, bike, enjoy awesome brews… Boulder rocks… and so does this place. Great location and not so over-priced. Free breakfast… pool and hot tub!

It’s nothing fancy but since it’s in Boulder, the price is a little steeper than usual to stay at a Holiday Inn… but it’s a clean and comfortable place to stay. Overall since you are staying here you likely seeking a convenient and familiar option, and it is both.

Room was quiet and spacious. Front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was very well stocked, and cookies in the evening were yummy. Wi-Fi was easy to connect with, and seemed fast enough. No complaints.

The room was clean and bed comfy. It was quite expensive though. The breakfast was ok but not startling. It would be nice if there was a bar and restaurant attached but you can expect everything. On the whole I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is a little outside of Boulder, but still easy to access downtown. The staff at check-in were extremely friendly and checking in was a breeze. The room was on the main floor. Accessing the room would have been very easy except the outside entrance door was broken. The room itself seemed damp and somewhat musty, although after leaving the AC on for several hours it was more comfortable. The room itself was fine. The problem arose when the bathroom mirror fell off of the wall, hitting me hard on the head. Fortunately it didn't break, and much more fortunately it didn't fall on a young child, who could have been seriously injured. I informed the front desk and they indicated that someone would check it out when we left. That was it. I'm not sure what I had expected, but it was certainly something more than that. Disappointed that the mirror was not secured to the wall, because that seems like a huge oversight. I previously have not hesitated to recommend Holiday Inn Express, but this experience makes me much less likely to ever stay in a Holiday Inn Express.

I enjoyed this hotel very much. The front desk staff was very friendly. I thought it was cool that they had free popcorn in the afternoon and free cookies in the evening in addition to the free breakfast. And the pancake machine is really cool.

It is your typical holiday inn express. Beds are great, rooms are cozy, and breakfast are filling. They do have fresh popped popcorn everyday at 4pm and fresh baked cookies at 7pm.

My wife & I stayed as part of a very long road trip from KY to WA. We arrived in Boulder at the recommendation of several "internet" friends. We booked this hotel through the Priceline app that was running an Express deal. By far that was the cheapest way to go the day of. We found out we were lucky to even get a room because that coming weekend was a huge triathlon that was happening. Regardless, the hotel itself and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was what you would expect for a continental but maybe a bit nicer. Location was excellent but you really wont walk many places from the hotel… However no fee parking to stay there so not a big deal. Only small complaint was we struggled to keep the room hot or cold enough for us. I feel like this may have been more of an "us" problem and not a room problem though since we had just been in the car for 16 hours… I would recommend this hotel to others for sure!

Gigantic room with a mini kitchenette including a fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker. Loved the popcorn and cookie goodies and breakfast.

I was charged an exorbitant amount of money to have my truck tampered with in the parking lot, and have my kids discover used needles/syringes right next to my truck. I informed the front desk, was completely blown off and told that the parking lot isnt their jurisdiction. The utter lack of concern and care was ridiculous.

Such a great view. Cookie cutter holiday. They're is a good canyon up Lee Hill for a quick drive to a view.

Very good service and a nice location with a direct route to downtown Boulder and is close to the route to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

Had a great time here, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even had complimentary popcorn and cookies in the evening. Definitely would stay again, had a great time in Boulder, Colorado.

Love this hotel, close to campus, my business contacts and great for downtown restaurants and shopping. The staff are very caring and they go out of their way to assist you with your business needs on the road. The free breakfast is great and very good, not a typical hotel breakfast. … The hotel itself is clean and customer service is first with everyone. I will be back, we enjoyed Thanksgiving with our friends and family this year, see you in a few weeks.

This property has always been my favorite place to stay, great rates, great service. The rooms are clean and free breakfast with great Wi-Fi for business. Just stayed here for a client meeting and we will be back through the winter months.

The rooms are nicer than you'd expect from the look of the hallway. The complimentary breakfast definitely wasn't the worst I've ever had, and I went back for seconds. The beds we're supposedly new, and they were incredibly comfortable. My sleep was wonderful. All in all, it's a nice place… You won't be disappointed as long as you remember you're staying in a holiday in. ;)

The hotel was one of the few places in Boulder that had a vacancy during our weekend stay in Denver (there were no other chain hotels with vacancies rush night) and there were very quick with reservations and getting out group of five a nice room. Continental breakfast was free and great and the rooms were clean as well.

This hotel is amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. We would like to thank Heath, Eric, Bridget, and all of the other staff members for being so nice and friendly. We stayed here for 8 days and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The floor was dirty and when I moved the shower curtain there were wads of women's hair. Besides a dirty room overall it was ok. I would probably stay somewhere else if needed. It does appear to be a very dated property.

I stay in Boulder 3-4 times a month and I will not stay any where else. The Service is amazing and The rooms are always perfect. Don't check out until you try the biscuits and gravy they are fantastic.

Absolutely horrible! Apparently the cleaning staff can do no wrong. We all know they are the most upstanding members of society anyway. There was dried BLOOD on the sheets. I brought the problem to management. Heath Balluch, the assistant manager who has been their assistant manager for years (I did my research, pretty pathetic to not move up in ranking after 4-5 years) accused me of lying and told me he felt "offended" and "betrayed. " I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who has much greater bargaining power than I do. Additionally, the floor was sticky and gross. The breakfast isn't even edible. The check in girl was dismissive. do yourself a favor and never stay here.

It is a great place to stay. Very easy to get on a bus to go downtown. The staff is very friendly and they give you popcorn and cookies at night and breakfast in the morning. I definitely recommend it.

Terrible, terrible customer service. Tried to book a room with 2 beds for a family of four. Checked in and nothing was mentioned to us that the room would only have one bed. Upon entering the room, discovered only one bed. Immediately went back to the front desk to complain and they said there was nothing that they could do and that we should complain to Booking. Com. Booking. Com explained that the hotel charges us, not them. We tried to leave and never stayed in room. We were charged $269 for one bed that we did not use. Their assistant manager Heath Balluch acts like he just doesn't care. Again, we did not stay yet were charged $269. Awful response from hotel staff.

We stayed here on July 23, 2015 in a 2 room King Suite. On one of the doors there was a sanitary pad stuck to the door covering the peak hole. When it was brought to the assistant Managers attention nothing was ever done about it. He pretty much laughed in my face. I have sent an email to IHG and Corporate Headquarters and nothing has been done. I find this VERY GROSS! Tells how bad housekeeping and the Management is!

Be careful with this hotel. I made a reservation through AAA. The cancellation policy was 24 hours or there would be a one day charge. We cancelled six days in advance and they still put a charge on our credit card. We never stayed, so we cannot comment on the hotel itself. Won't be making any further reservations here either.

We used the Holiday Inn Express for our wedding block. It's clean, quiet, and the staff is friendly. Our guests were satisfied and it made it so much easier to coordinate with them under one roof! We'll definitely recommend this hotel to visitors again.

We had a great experience, from a 5am checkin (they expected us much earlier) that was warm, welcoming and "competent" and breakfast served with a great smile to sparkling clean sheets/ towels and an oh so simple one day extension. I will stay at this hotel everytime I visit this area.
