Was well pleased. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but was good. We would definitely stay here again.

Not sure why the negative reviews. We almost passed this place up because of them. We found the guy who checked us in to be friendly. Our room was clean, good bed and a nice kitchenette. The price was great. Can't vouch for the other rooms but we can only hope to find motels as good as this the rest of our trip.

This is by far the most unfriendly, non accommodating place I have ever stayed. I travel with my job and have stayed in more hotels/motels than I can count. I work nights so I'm not awake when room service comes around. I went to the office in the morning when I got off for toilet paper and a towel and the front desk lady would not give me the towel and fought with me about taking my breakfast to my room. She finally got me the toilet paper but treated me like I was completely putting her out by asking. This place provided a refrigerator and microwave but asked that you not have breakfast in your room! Not sure how that makes any sense. I would sleep in a tent or my car before ever recommending this place. The pool may be nice if they ever get it fixed. If you need Wi-Fi for any reason what so ever, do not stay here. You will only be connected for 10 minutes at a time IF you are lucky. No phone reception in the rooms, you have to step outside. Breakfast is the exact same everyday and I wouldn't feed it to my dog. They have sausage links that look as they have been boiled put in a plastic bowl on top of a microwave so you can reheat them. Eggs also in plastic container. They do have a waffle machine, thank goodness, and pastries. Don't dare think of taking this breakfast to your room as they have at least 3 tables to accommodate every one at the motel.

Really bad and unfriendly customer service. We had to stay outside for a long time at night until the manager wakes up. Breakfast was not good. I would not recommend this palce.

Older mom an pop hotel. BUT don't let that stop you! Clean rooms, kitchenette, comfy bed, GREAT breakfast, and warm, smiling, helpful staff!

The owner illegally called the police on me for having a registered service animal. I had to deal with them for over an hour. Tried to kick me out and then spend the rest of the evening walking by the room and looking for a reason to call the police again. We did nothing wrong or illegal. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else in montrose.

Great price and very nice customer service. A thousand times better then the holiday in across the street.

My car got stuck in some mud and I had to stay here. I had been stranded in my car all day and was starving. When I asked for the nearest place to get food, the girl at the counter immediately got me a banna and yogurt. It was really nice. The room was clean and comfortable. This place was really nice.

I've stayed here a few times and it is very nice! This is a well run establishment! The staff is wonderful and they are very accommodating. Would recommend to others and have always had a pleasant stay! It's clean and well kept. They even have rooms with kitchenette and a full size fridge. I like this motel.

Danny, the General Manager was super friendly and helpful. My friend and I had to make a last minute reservation and he kindly held the room for us after a quick phone call asking about availability and pricing. Upon arrival, he was extremely helpful and checked us in quickly, while answering all our questions. We really appreciate the customer service provided by the general manager.

I wasn't expecting this for the price. Nice outdoor lounge area with a grill and pool. Clean modern rooms with comfortable bed 42" (maybe I'm off by a few "). You can tell the ownership takes pride in their business.

Room was clean. Newly painted but they did a shabby job of it. The paint was splattered everywhere but at least it's clean and fresh. There were some kind of strange black marks on our bed sheets, looks like it might be ink but they didn't notice apparently. The desk clerk was kind and friendly and the pool was clean. Breakfast was fair… waffles, eggs, cereal, doughnuts and muffins. Playground is in dire need of repair.

Rooms arent up to date. Ac worked amazing. They dont play when its past checkout tome. Will come knocking at 1105

The rooms were beautiful, the bed was comfy, & the customer service was phenomenal.

Stayed here for about a week and three different times I had room service people and management barge in without warning. They didn't knock or anything. Also the room I stayed in was crawling with ants and spiders. Totally disgusting.

I was impressed with this motel for the price I paid. It has Wi-Fi, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, a nice TV with cable, lots of pillows, comfy bed and more. The furniture is nice and the shower head was pretty good. There's also a pool and playground. I plan on coming back at some point when I visit the area again (as long as the price doesn't go up a lot)

Pillows and bed was super comfortable but there was a couple of red colored stains on the sheets that made us uncomfortable.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, but kind of dirty. Burned out lights in the bathroom, fan caked in dust, but overall not bad.

Not welcoming, "credit card machine not working"

Went for showers while hunting in 2014 Room was clean and well appointed. Came back in 2015 and got a very dirty and not very nice room. Stained carpet, one light for entire bedroom area (dark), bathroom fan didn't work at all, not pleasant in most regards. Very basic TV as well. Unfortunately I had come down with a fever the day before so when the roof leaked on my head at 3am in the morning I moved the bed to the other side of the room and spent the rest of the night awake in bed with the chills. The next morning I spoke with the manager whom said she would notify on site owner. With no response I tracked him down. With water on the wall and floor he told me the roof did not leak and walked away. I highly DO NOT recommend this establishment.

I'm so glad we decided to stay here. It's very clean and homey. It really feels like we are guests in someone's home!

My husband and I stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our room and the amazing staff. The hotel was cozy and felt like home.

Great place to stay, staff is awesome. We came in after hours with their office closed. We called their after hours check in number and Tony was very nice to help. The room was cozy and breakfast was simple and just what we needed to get started. Great experience.

Beware. My wife and I stayed two nights last month, and shortly thereafter received a letter charging us $150 for bedding 'ruined by mustard and ketchup'. The problem is that we never ate in the room; we went to restaurants suggested by the Inn's employees. Since we travel with dogs, we ALWAYS cover the bed with a sheet of our own that we take with us when travelling to avoid leaving dog hair and/or dirt behind us. Disputed, and we will never return.

Surprised! Quaint cottage like. Clean. Oddly, the bed was next to air conditioner. Slept well, regardless.
