We had a most excellent evening here a couple of weeks ago. Very peaceful with an incredible view. It doesn't get much better than waking up next to a stream in the mountains and the croissants in the morning were fantastic. Truly a one of a kind experience. Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful hotel. I can't wait to come back!

We stayed here for our anniversary. The creek side room was amazing. But the hot tub was really the cherry on top! So many great things about this hotel. The owner is very kind. There is a beautiful chorus of hummingbirds all around the property. Easy walk ability to many locations in town. Very comfy beds, and extremely clean property. We will for sure be coming back!

Architecture detail makes this place stand out, from anywhere else in Georgetown. The staff is outstanding, and the breakfast? incredible! We aill be back for sure.

We did a Ski & Stay package through Loveland reservations which was an incredible value to begin with! We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful hotel, very thoughtful design with high quality details. The personal hot tub was amazing, loved the fireplace and coffee maker and breakfast in the room. Staff are wonderful and so very helpful and accommodating! We WILL be back!

This is our second visit. We love this hotel. This time we stayed there for my birthday. It was delightful! We ate at Cooper on the Creek. We had the stuffed trout, it was delicious.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hotel Chateau Chamonix while passing through Georgetown (Labor Day 2018). I was really surprised at the level of service, attention to detail, and hospitality of this establishment. EVERY single aspect of our stay was impeccable… this place is a hidden gem. The room was immaculately clean, very thoughtfully decorated, and extremely cozy. The staff were professional, friendly, caring, and helpful. The location is extremely convenient and within walking distance to local dining, right next to the river, and to a couple nice little parks. We had our little ones with us, but I got the impression that this place probably catered more to couples and would likely be perfect for a weekend getaway with the spouse. I'm not entirely sure what the price point was as my wife handled this booking, but I'm sure it was worth every penny. Oh… and the breakfast delivered to your room in the morning… what a wonderful and elegant touch. This hotel is and the experience they offer is definitely not one to miss.

We booked this hotel for our first night after having an evening plane arrival in Denver to head to Snowmass. It was just over an hour drive west, at the edge of the mountains. We had a late check in and the hotel was kind to call and coordinate our arrival, which they made very easy for us. The hotel rooms are spacious and have nice, new finishes, a comfortable bed and L’Occitane toiletries. The balcony overlooks the beautiful stream behind the hotel. We left our balcony door open overnight to enjoy the sounds from the water flowing. The hotel delivers fresh croissants, fruit and juice TO YOUR ROOM each morning. Overall great stay.

My wife and I have been coming here for years to getaway from the city. We've stayed here probably six times, in most of the rooms, and have loved every stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautiful. It's always been very quiet. Service is always impeccable. It's nice to wake up to food being dropped off at your room. It won't fill you up, but it's delicious and a great way to start the day. We'll continue to stay here.

Beautiful accommodations! Excellent service and luxury amenities. The traditional French breakfast delivered straight to your room was a great touch. We stayed in room 103, a creek front room with a private two-person hot tub and we will absolutely be returning. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night — I did not want to leave!

They served fresh croissants with fruit for breakfast. Yummy except we would have liked butter and jam with the croissants! The hotel itself was wonderful, comfy beds, lovely view and sound of Clear Creek running by was so soothing.

Absolutely charming hotel! The staff was very friendly, and courteous, and the accommodations were comfortable and cozy. I love the French Country theme! A traditional French breakfast (fresh baked croissants and fruit) served right to your room in a convenient box placed in the wall, was the highlight! Also, the M. A. Hadley Pottery it was served on was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!

A place to visit all on its own! What a wonderful quaint find! We'll definitely be back to stay here.

So far everything has been great. Glass of wine at check in, comfortable bed, and our room had a private hot tub on the patio. Staff was very nice also. Would stay here again if I'm back in town.

So when I called no-one told me it was a couples getaway and we were told we could have a balcony room with hot tub creek side. (They never even asked me how many people or I would have said three) anyways we got there and my husband went to check in and let them know it was two adults and a child and they said it was a couple resort and they normally don't allow children. They were however very accommodating and still gave us a room but moved us to floor level and not creekside. We were also told he had to be quite as other guests would be bothered. I get it and I understand however it would have been nice had we known it was a couple resort as we would have just went elsewhere. It was a nice place and the two person hot tub was also nice but our child was three and keeping a three year old quiet for a night isn't the easiest thing to do. We decided to stay as it was already late and it was just overnight with a morning check out. I was a little bummed about not having creekside but all in all they tried very hard to make it right and were very accommodating to us. Anyways again the mix up wasn't really anyone's fault just a misunderstanding and like I said they still accommodated is and were very friendly about it. So if you're in the area looming for a couples getaway definitely check this place out. It also had a nice view of the mountains on the opposite side of the creek.

Booked one of the downstairs rooms for Valentine's Day weekend with the private hot tub with a view of the creek and the mountains. Best place I've stayed and that's saying something. Walking distance to the awesome Cooper's On The Creek, Warm in Park, and the lakefront. Perfect romantic getaway.

Talk about a little slice of paradise! I spent the weekend at this picturesque chateau in Georgetown, and have literally nothing to complain about. The view is phenomenal, the rooms are well accommodated and comfortable, and the croissants for breakfast were out of this world! It's conveniently nestled between a yummy burger restaurant and a well-priced dispensary, just across the roundabout from the local grocery store. The in-room fireplaces and outdoor hot tubs made the experience all the better. I honestly can't wait to come back and can't thank the staff enough for providing such a lovely vacation experience! Love this place.

Marvelous place! It made me feel like I was back in France! Breakfast is delicious! The room is so well decorated and the beadings are royal! No noise at all! The room has an astonishing view of the Rockies! We it!

My husband come up to ski twice a year and always stay here. They are always friendly and the hot tub after a day of skiing is perfect. We love staying here.

OMG it was exactly what I had hoped. Intimate setting and the 2 person hottub off the bedroom balcony is great. Wasnt fond of the cameras pointed directly at the hot tub tho. We had to stand on chairs to cover it with paper to assure privacy.

Amazing hotel; phenomenal place to stay! Most rooms have a balcony facing the Clear Creek and allow for opening the door and relaxing to the sound of crystal clear rocky mountain water babbling over rocks. Switch on the natural gas fireplace and enjoy the ambiance. Nice furniture appointment, comfortable bed, plush pillows, quiet location (no children allowed here), and friendly staff make for a very nice stay. Second floor quests share a hot tub on second story outside deck. First floor offers small outside hot tub on balcony. Hidden gem in Georgetown, Colorado!

Loved the croissants and fruit in the morning, and those coffee mugs. Adorable! Beautiful rooms and the fire place kept us nice and cozy! An AWESOME Bed & Breakfast for a couples get-a-way and Loveland is just down the road for some snowboarding! We will definitely stay here again!

Wow. Just Wow! I can't say enough good about this place! So beautiful. Our room was the lower level corner room backing up to the stream. So peaceful. Hot tub facing the mountains was fantastic. Breakfast was perfect. My one and only complaint was the bed. It was seriously firm. I did not sleep well… at all. My husband would rate a 5 star. He slept fine. Either way you absolutely cannot go wrong at this place! Wine was great. Service was great. We will be back!

What a gem. A perfect diamond. Beautifully appointed room. European style breakfast delivered via a little double door in the wall. So cute. Superb European croissants. A delicious stylish fresh fruit bowl. Can't wait to visit again. Wouldn't change anything about the Hotel Chateau Chamonix! Listening to the creek tumbling over the river rocks. Heaven on Earth!

We loved our room on the second floor overlooking the creek. The hotel is lovely, well appointed and cozy with a gas fireplace right in the room. The continental breakfast was delicious and service excellent. The darling town of Georgetown is within a short walk. We will stay here again.

I will stay here again. We got a room with a hot tub downstairs. Kathy checked us in and showed us our room. She was very nice and helpful. Since we were leaving at 3am to climb Gray's Peak, she had our breakfast in the fridge waiting for us. The food was great, the hotel was quiet, the coffee was fantastic. It was the perfect romantic getaway for my husband's surprise birthday treat!

A wonderful place to stay. The room was cozy, the hot tub on the patio was perfect, and the breakfast delivered to the room was just fantastic. If we come back yo Georgetown, we will be staying here again.

The bed is very firm, which may be comfortable for some but not for us. Other than that, the room is very nice and we'll decorated. The creekside private deck hot tub is worth the stay alone. There are very few places that offer this, even in the mountains of Colorado, without paying a lot more. Make sure to ask for your welcome wine, it wasn't offered to us on arrival but was available immediately when I asked. The fireplace really warms up the room as well. There are robes already in the room for use with the hot tub and there is a mini fridge with freezer and a single cup coffee maker. Breakfast was freshly made and available in your room by 730am. Great base or recovery camp for hiking.

By far one of the must stay at places in Colorado.
I recommend it if you want to impress your significant other or treat them to the finer things in life. View is awesome.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Spent only one night here but it was one of the best out of town stays. The room was so warm and inviting. The fireplace sets the mood. Too hot? All you have to do is open the door and let in the cool air in while listening to the babbling Creek. Stunning view on either side of the hotel, you just can't go wrong. An absolute must stay for a romantic getaway!

Unb elievabe. Really quaint, authentic, and memorable. One of the most authentic stays we have ever had in the high country. Kathy was a delightful host very engaging Room was spectacular. A real gem. How great is it that my wife and I can take a retreat 60 miles from our home in Denver.

My wife and I went here from TX for our honeymoon in March this last year and it was AMAZING — room was beautiful and a BARGAIN! Local town is really nice too AND mountains are a hop away!

Best hotel I've stayed in. Privately owned and they care. Wife and I have been staying here once or twice a year as a get away from Denver and the kids for 10 years and have never been dissatisfied with service or the romantic atmosphere. This is a place for couples not families in my opinion. We prefer first floor next to creek with 1 person hot tub. I don't normally waste my time on writing reviews so if I write take the time to write a review i'm truly impressed and I have been all over the world.

Wow. I agree with another reviewer. I would say this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The pictures online do not do it justice. Everything is new. Everything is super clean. Yet the place feels warm and friendly from the service to the little touches (breakfast in morning, toiletries, codes not keys, special speaker near bed for the tv). This is embarrassing but one of my favorite parts was the Nescafe coffee maker. We had a 2nd floor room on the river. We drove to Breckenridge for dinner then came back to Georgetown for a taste of the locals at the tiny bar down the street. Very relaxing after hiking Mt Torreys the day before. A great getaway. Definitely will be back.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here. With the creek at our back door, two person hot tub and a warm fire place. It was perfect. We recommend it for any one wanting a true relaxing experience.

Me and my family stayed in the hotel over the holidays and had an amazing stay. The staff is amazing, loved the steam showers, hot tubs, fireplaces and fresh breakfast sent to your room every morning was deff a plus! Would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

Nice place next to a river. All rooms we stayed in have a deck and a special feature such as a fireplace, hot tub, or steam shower. Small and quiet. Very romantic getaway in Georgetown.

We had a great time. The price at $140 for a night was low. The room and stay was nicer than the price had me anticipating. They bring you breakfast in the morning and leave it in a box for you to open at your convenience. We will be staying here again for sure.

Went with my boyfriend for a night. Had a great stay! Breakfast was amazing! Rooms are clean, up to date, and much more beautiful than the pictures give them credit for! The staff was helpful and great.
