My family and I were extremely exited to stay at this beautiful town, the hotel wasn’t terrible but as soon as we got there we noticed one of the front desk ladies walking towards the parking lot to check out a truck that had gotten broken into at the hotel parking lot (one of the guest vehicles) I didn’t mind because bad stuff happens everywhere. My husband grandmother and I checked out the following morning and my grandmother happened to leave her wedding rings at the hotel room, by the time she released we were already about 3 hours away I called the hotel and they said they didn’t find them, mind you she left them on the sofa armrest in room on 7/3/2020. I called back and a different personnel answer they said the same thing nothing was found. My grandfather passed away from cancer and that’s one of the few things my grandmother had left to cherish him. It’s just very sad.

The stay was okay for the price, but my main concern was the staff, minus housekeeping… they were very nice. The front desk was aware we were bringing a guest that is in a wheelchair. They did nothing to help us with the elevator, the front door, and the food area. A few random strangers were more than willing to help with doors and set up a spot for her to eat breakfast. People working the front desk were more into taking photos of wine bottles and talking about other nonsense while I was struggling to hold the door open while carrying luggage in and pushing the wheelchair. They aknowledged it and watched the whole time. I suggest a class for the employees on how to assist the disabled or a new job.

I had a great experience at check-in prepaid thru a website; perhaps they’re learning. Same noise from bars across the alley!

I really enjoyed staying here. The room was big and the place was really clean and the staff were exceptional and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was amazing also!

The hotel is pretty clean, and you receive the same amenities you would normally get with a Comfort Suites hotel. As for the location, it's right next to downtown Visalia so there are things to do relatively close. Also, the hotel staff is friendly and accommodating.

We loved our room and we loved the helpfulness of the staff! Oh, do you have a 3 hole punch perchance? Yes, they did. Oh, do you by chance have a paper cutter? Yes, they did. They were a procrastinator's dream come true! Overall, a very great experience. Thank you.

Our stay here has always been enjoyable! The suites are nice, clean, and next to downtown shops! There's a brewery right around the corner if you want to unwind as well as a movie theater within walking distance. Only complaint is that the elevator takes forever to come down and up. Other than that enjoy your free cable TV, Wi-Fi, and breakfast!

We've stayed her a few times now on our way to Sequoia, and it's been extremely pleasant! Rooms are spacious and accommodating. The free breakfast is a perk!

Got there exhausted after a 5 hour drive, hoping to check in. It was 4 pm, check in was at 3 pm but I still couldn't check in yet as the room wasn't ready. Whatever. I sit in the lobby with my dry cleaning on my lap for 20 minutes before I could go up. Got a handicapped room so no bathtub. Bathroom door wouldn't stay open by itself and smelled like someone who hadn't showered in a month had been locked in there. Breakfast room is super small and was absolutely packed so I just grabbed a bagel and went back to my room. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

The room was clean, bed was comfy, and the lady named Julie at the desk was a super sweet gal! She was just extremely nice and welcoming and very helpful! Our stay was a very nice experience!

The hotel itself was clean and had nice amenities. We loved our room and the fact that it had an extra sitting area! The breakfast was also good and had a lot of choices. The only reason we would probably not stay there again is because of the noise from downtown. It's not the hotels fault, but it was driving us crazy. The noisy cars and crazy drunks would not quiet down until 3am!

I love the smoking area which is fenced and private with a private entrance to the establishment. Staff could be friendlier but it's clean and decently priced.

Room was clean and comfortable. Check in was fast and easy and the desk clerk was very friendly. The only negative is I think it was a bit over priced.

Decent hotel. A bit run down, but the price is decent, and they have proper DirecTV in the rooms. The breakfast wasn't bad either.

Julie absolutely made this trip for me! She was so sweet most of the staff didn't acknowledge us. We will definitely come back! Julie was so amazing, there needs to be more workers and people like her.

Very nice. Clean. They have foods in the lobby that you can purchase and prepare in your room's microwave. Would be nice if they had complementary bottled water.

A really great Hotel and Staff to all the people staying here! Fix ed a really great Breakfast ever morning! We checked in the night of August 26th into room 301. Upon entering the room, it was already hot and muggy… And the floor outside the bathroom was wet. I checked the sink and the bathroom floor so I chose to ignore the damp floor. A few minutes later after we we're already in bed, the air conditioner starts pouring a steady stream of water on the floor. I got dressed, took a video of our water issue, and went down to the front desk in hopes of switching rooms. I was told by Sarah at the front desk that they didn't have other rooms. I went back upstairs to share the news with my fiance who became fairly upset. We chose to stay in the room since she was already in bed… But not happily. I got a bucket from the front desk to catch the water and went to sleep. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

Terrible night! Reservation for 5 nights. Only stayed one. Was told they had a handicap suite. The only thing handicapped about the suite was the bathroom! Couldn't get around the beds to transfer from the wheelchair. It was a nightmare maneuvering all the furniture. They clearly don't understand the needs of a wheelchair bound person. I dont recommend staying here if you have mobility issues. I was sadly dissappointed.

Rooms were clean and spacious. I really liked having the sitting area and bedroom area separate, with two TV's. I was there on business but would also seem ideal for family travel. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good (both hot and cold items) with staff continuing to restock and bring out fresh food all morning. Never stale or running out of items.

Nice and clean, newer fixtures and bed was good. Check in staff was confused because I had prepaid through the Choice website. She tried to collect again, but after about 10 minutes, and me raising my voice she relented and said, ohh… I see it now. Also it was a Friday night and the bar right behind the hotel had a live band outside and they were playing Soo loud the sound could be heard in our room, so we didn't get to sleep until almost midnight.
We we're exhausted as we had been going all day since 5am. Hate to seem so negative, but I want to help you be forwarned. Also had problems with doing a load of laundry. Only one washer and one dryer. The dryer is horrible and will not dry your clothes.

Extremely dated hotel. Stinky carpets. Careless customer service. Took a lot of time to checkout. Room phones weren't working. Extremely low water pressure. Bad parking experience.

Clean room, hospitable staff, convenient location.

Hospitality was very friendly and easy check in. Rooms were nice and clean. Also hotel in heart of Visalia near lots of restaurants. Issues we had was phone in room did not work (good thing I didn't need a wake-up call). I knew in advance but was still disappointed that spa was closed. All in all nice clean hotel to stay at.

I got a great night sleep. It is in very central place and the neighborhood was clean. The parking was a little tight, but that's is expected. The rooms were nothing special, but they were large enough and looked nice. One nice touch was a lap pillow/laptop holder/desk.

My room was clean, neat, and comfortable. There was an issue with the toilet not flushing properly, but it resolved itself by morning. The breakfast was wonderful and well stocked.

The Comfort Suites in Visalia is a well managed establishment, with fantastic free breakfast and a friendly, attentive staff. The location is convenient to Sequoia and Kings Canyon parks, but also allows walking access to the restaurants in downtown Visalia. Given the quality of the hotel, the price was less than I expected for our stay. I will say that the building itself is showing its age, and could stand a remodel: some doors are worn, some wallpaper is peeling, and the air conditioning is louder than I'd like.

The location was in Fresno, Ca. The room was neat and clean. Since I was on the first floor, I was hearing a lot of street noise and guests above me. Overall the staff was great.

The complimentary breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel by far. The room was comfortable and clean. Very happy with my stay!

The location to downtown makes this the ideal hotel. The rooms are very large with comfortable beds. Ill stay here again in the future.

This is one bunch of Awesome people. Everyone there was friendly, respectful and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable from the day I came in to the day I left. If you happen to be staying there on a Wednesday night they serve wine, beer or sodas along with some of the best home made salsa and chips along with. (albondigas) meatballs. Breakfast was always hot and there was a tremendous selection, eggs, dry cereal, oatmeal, bacon, cottage potatoes, along with fruits, yogurt and juices. The attendants are always smiling. It is located down town among a multitude of shops, movies, theaters and restaurants. Really 5 stars are not enough for these guys. You can bet, the next time I need a room in Visalia this is where you will find me.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for several days while visiting friends and family. The room was clean as well as the lobby, breakfast area and halls. They even had recycle bins accessible to everyone in the halls. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the place and felt comfortable in our room.

Not bad except the elevator which is the slowest in town.

I have been coming here for years each month. Excellent staff, everyone is friendly and remembers you. The hotel is clean and safe. If u come on a busy day parking can be a pain. The internet works in some places well,, but not very fast. Place is in a great location, with everything u could need in walking distance.

I have been to this hotel twice so far, and each time, the staffs are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are very clean and nice. The breakfast is much better than most hotels.
