Where to start frist hot wire booked this place and if I know before paying I wouldn't have… when we got are room it was hot and unbearable in the 100 plus degree heat… Took 30 mins with the door and widows open to make it comfortable to enter. The toilet is broken lose from the floor… Then I took my kid swimming and she stepped on a piece of glass. When I told the man up front he got very defensive and asked me over and over what I would do if my family was walking outside and step on glass what I would do… I just told him lucky my kid didn't get hurt and was telling so no one else would get hurt… Last but not least the internet said one price hot wire said one price and he charged my card ten more dollars… Cant wait to take my business else where while here for business…

Very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant time while doing business. We found what we needed at the right price and it didn't take long at all. We need more people like Karen behind the counter when it comes to people friendly dealing with the customers. She was right on the minute we walked in threw the doors and that is important to customers. Thank you Robin and Howard.

If I could, I would rate this dump a MINUS 10 stars! It is absolutely the nastiest most filthy, moldy motel that I have EVER seen! EVER! My fiancé and I needed a place to stay for the night, we would be up bright and early the next morning to start our vacation at Lodgepole, in the Sequoias. This room, was so bad, this review could NEVER give it the justifiable MINUS 10 that this room/dump deserves. And they had balls enough to ask for a deposit! OMG! Please people, NEVER stay at this dump! Also, as we were walking to the room, we observed a man 'picking up' a woman right in front of the dump. The Indian woman at the walk-up window was hard to understand. Needless to say, we will NEVER go back! Please take my word for this, the dump is uninhabitable in my opinion. And I plan on notifying the health dept.

The office smelled like curry, staff was polite. Bare bones as far as accomaditions in the room, parking is a joke. Had to park on the street. Clean and tidy. No carpet like the pictures in the website. Should have read the reviews. But, it is for one night. If I have to stay over one more night, I will find another place.

I wouldn’t say it’s a five star establishment, but the beds are quite comfortable, the housekeeping comes in daily, the television has satellite and your have a phone and Wi-Fi connection. In addition, the hotel is truly a an older building so it has that old building smell, but it is in decent repair with laminate flooring and updated baths. There is a fire station close by, so bring the ear plugs. Covered parking in the court. It was a decent stay for the price and central to just about everything in Visalia, by bus, by car and by foot. If you have a really tight budget, this is a fairly decent place to stay.

I'll never get another room at this place in my life. My mother and I after traveling 15 hours found "America's Best Value Inn" to rest at. Not 10 minutes into being in our room my mother had a cockroach crawling on her in the bed, I asked for an extra pillow for my mother who is disabled and was told by the owner to wait till tomorrow and he'll get her a pillow (she still never got her extra pillow, ) there was a Mexican couple 4 rooms down from us who stalked me and made me feel like I was going to be attacked in the parking lot and the manager did nothing about the harassment or stalking, not to mention the rooms are ugly in color, there's a hole in the shower where it looks like there is a video camera and it looks like our room is under construction. Very uncomfortable beds and the pillows are tiny so make sure to bring ur own and check for holes in the shower.

This was the worst motel I ever stayed at. It was loud and dirty, and the staff was rude and inhospitable. I will never stay at this place again. I'd rather sleep behind a dumpster! And to top it all off, it was ten minutes before eleven when I checked out but their clock said five minutes after so they refused to give me my deposit back because "I checked out late. "

The walls in the room are scary. The air conditioning is very noisy. There are no outlets near the beds. San Francisco was a nice motel, and this is not much.

The rooms were a decent size with comfortable beds. That was about the only good thing with this motel. It was dirty, staff was ride, and their idea of a continental breakfast is an oatmeal cookie and coffee. To high proceed for the quality of service. There are no open stores near there after 9pm.

There was a few uninvited guests (roaches). The people above us were noisy. Usually it is better than that.

It was very pleasant and quiet I was able to enjoy the rest I got to try and catch up on my sleep which one can only try and do.

It needs to be said that this is a budget hotel and my review will be in that light. For the price this isn't a bad hotel. The rooms were largely clean, if not a bit run down, and safe. Everything worked as expected and the employees were friendly and timely enough during the check in and check out process. Know going in that this isn't a 5 star hotel, this isn't a Marriott and it's not even a Days Inn or La Quinta.

I had to stay here for four days while my house was being worked on. In any case this place was available at the right price. Everyday I returned around 3p. M. My room had not been cleaned by that time. I put up with it for 3 days. On my last day I decided to bring this to the attention of the female staff member. Probably the owner's wife. She had a huge problem with me saying this. She asked why I was staying there and said I could just leave. It got worse after that, but it shows the quality of the owners and the place. The place seemed in the process of being repaired, yet they kept all the rooms available. My biggest gripe was the lateness of the rooms being serviced. Poor management. Seemed unable to hire more staff. Maybe the owner's wife was the reason.

Clean and comfortable. What we expected for the price. Nice and helpful staf. À bit Old and would need some work. We stayed here one night for our road trip and this was perfect.

They were very nice and got me in on a great price compared to the other motels around. It was very quiet and even had a small breakfast available. I had forgot my charger and they allowed me to use one the had in the office. They had smoking areas that were clean.

Room stunk of cigarettes. Yes it was a smoking room. But still, we don't smoke. Bathroom had black mold in corners by tub. No toilet paper holder. Electricity did not work in room. Electrical had no covers (potential shock or fire hazard) Locks were broken. No security. We didn't stay there and walked out. Trying to get our money back, but they have a screw you policy in the lobby. See photos. Don't go there unless you could care less about smell or bedding.

A little pricey for what you get, in dire need of structural renovation. If you need any illegal substances you can probably get whatever you're looking for, there are plenty of shady guests. The bathroom is small, toilet paper roller missing. The security lock was broken off. The room was meant to have smaller beds, Full size instead of Queen's. The AC was off, it was over 90 degrees inside. Still better than sleeping in my truck though.

Good place to stay in town in Visalia. It's close to downtown and there are a lot of things to do around there. It's cheap they have a pool and you get a microwave and refrigerator in the room. For the price its probably the best place in the city.

Very very poor customer service. If I could give a 0 I would give a zero. The owner or whoever was helping us was so rude to me and my family. We had booked a room with him for 4 people and supposedly when we got there it was only for 2. On top of not being cooperative with us to fix the problem the man was mad at us for how the problem was occurring. He had said to us that this isn't LA and suggesting that we can't fit 50 people in a room almost like if he was accusing us for being Mexican and hiding people inside the room. Just trust me people you don't want to come here especially if you don't want to be having rude costumer service.

This is an budget hotel, and it shows. Rooms are heavily worn and sheets are thin. Room keys are plastic cards, but cost $20 to replace. Owner is honest and insists guests preview rooms before renting. There is a strict guest policy, but it keeps the place safe. At least the bar of soap is unusually big for a budget hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My nephew & girlfriend had everything stolen out of their room. They went out to dinner, came back to everything being gone. EVERYTHING they had was stolen!

All bad… experience on are stay with Americas Best value in Visalia. How does this place stay open who do we have to complain too, the owner's don't care too hear how bad and dirty the rooms are, anyways it should be close down, and the owner's should not have a business license's they sure don't go buy the American business rule the customer is always right…

We called and had the worst experience the owners wife she is really rude and had no manres, I don't know how they run there buniess with this kind of attitude, I just say don't ever go there also a advice to the owner of hotel if you keep this kind of behavior you will loose your business, if you don't know how to to deal with customer don't buy buniess ever … or keep your wife out of your buniess free advice take if you want success.

Looks nothing like the pictures! after a long night at the hospital I come to this? by far the worst hotel. Not worth 77$ if you ask me. Floor is cracked holes in the wall includinn dirty walls curtins are all messed up one channle works on the tv. Not to mention the towels were dirty and a used tolet paper role the bed even looked used and not cleaned. Disgusting!

Worst customer service. The lady who works in the night Is a complete dumb ass. I booked online nd called to double make sure I had my reservation. She tells me that I don't have any reservations. Because there wasn't any rooms available. Spoke to the supervisor very nice man. But once I got to there she tried to charge me for the room again. Walked into the room the door was open not closed nd locked. There was dirt on the bed. The bed frame was broken. There was towels on the floor, the trash wasn't taken out. It seemed like somebody had bearly used the shower. Overall the room was dirty nd it smelled. Spoke too the supervisor to complain. He yelled at the reception lady. Got moved to another room. That was cleaner. But never staying there EVER AGAIN.

OMG! … These are the words that come to my mind as I started to recall my stay at this HORRIBLE place! So, let me start off by saying my stay took place at the end of June 2015. We (Myself, Husband, our 2 small kids and 2 teenage nieces) checked in about 9:30pm, woman at the counter was ok. We get to our room turn the a. C. On because like I said it was the end of June and 107 degrees at almost 10pm, 45 minutes in still no cold air from the a. C. So I go to front desk thinking it will be a simple fix or room switching and boy was I wrong! So he tells me that the a. C. Is working fine, thats when I know this is a joke. I ask him to show me another room to check the a. C. And the other room was pretty much the same. He says it is impossible to keep track of what works in all the rooms, by this time he is getting upset and loud instead of having good customer service and remaining calm and admitting to his faults and apologizing. I tell him its so easy to know what works, he has maids that do cleaning on a daily basis they can easily check everything is in working order as they clean. Then he says oh that is a good idea maybe you should work for me! This guy was nuts! When I returned to my room to grab bags because we obviously did not stay, I also seen bugs by the bed, behind the door and in the tub! when I told him about it his reaction was like h already knew, it was totally not a big deal to him! Needless to say I would rate him a — 10 stars if I could!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Dont even know where to start. The customer service if you can even call it that was shockingly bad. The maid was in the room when we showed up with her kids watching tv. The sheets werent fitted and the mattress was disgusting. The towels were actually dirty with some sort of black substance. The TV picture didnt fit the screen as if it was being pirated and most were all static anyways. The ac, the fridge and the phone were broke. I really dont understand how they're still in buisness.

By far the worst hotel experience of my life! The staff was extremely rude and yelled at my wife and me for no reason and called the cops on us to leave… Turns out they thought we were another guest at the hotel. Received absolutely no apology for this once they figured out they made a mistake. They then proceeded to yell at us again demanding us to leave when I simply asked, "would you mind apologizing for the way your staff treated us earlier? " I would assume they treat the majority of their guests this way because it seemed way too natural. You seriously could not pay me to deal with these people again! I would rather sleep on the streets than to sleep in this hell hole! I'm truly upset that I cannot give them zero stars on this review because they do not deserve anywhere close to 1 star!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The room looked nothing like what was advertised. Every single piece of furniture (which looks like its from the 90's) was broken in some way. Half of the bulbs in the room were not working. Some electricity sockets were Not properly covered. The room smelled like sewage. The shower head was covered with a dirty towel. The room was dirty when we entered it and the bathroom was full of hair on the ground and on the towels. Overall the room didn't look like it deserved $20 per night (they charge about 50). What makes this even worse is that the hotel manager is rude and will not listen to anything you say. When I talked to him about a refund (I didn't want to stay even one night) he said he can't because I booked the room through a website, making it seem that he couldn't do anything while in reality he could (I found that out later on).
