This really felt like a fancy motel. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and professional. Everything about the place felt updated: the check in counter, the stairway, the inside of the room felt kind of modern. Still, the motel feeling was inescapable. There was a faint smell of residual cigarette smoke in my room. Otherwise, the room was clean with a sizeable flat screen TV, fairly large fridge, and even a microwave. The shower head wasn't very pleasant and there were no bedside lamps, leaving only the blindingly bright recessed lighting. Next time, I'd probably stay at a chain motel to save $30.

The hotel is very nice. Service was great, Veronica at the front desk was amazing as she shared a few nice attractions with me.

Second floor patio was cool. Room was nice and clean. No remote for TV, but who cares. Shower pressure was actually a bit too much. It felt like being exfoliated.

Good place for the price. Not as sketchy as other places for the price range. Rooms are cheaper directly from them from my experience. Staff are helpful and friendly. I would recommend to go early and ask for a non-smoke room.

Please do not bring your family here! I was there with my wife and son and unfortunately the pictures listed fooled us/me. The room smelled like cigarette, the bathroom had a heavy stench of weed, the manager Cathy was a total ass, denied the smell and completely denied anything to make my experience better, the rooms were nicely refurnished but unfortunately they were still very bad. Hairs on the towels, broken switch outlets, missing smoke alarms, guys smoking weed outside our door. Domestic disputes outside our door at 6 or 7am, I would not recommend this place to a family at all, please just go spend a few more bucks for a room worth the while, I know I should have.

The jacuzzi tub was perfect and large enough to fit at least 3 people comfortably. There was also a huge glass shower with shampoo and conditioner dispensers as well. There was a fridge, microwave, big flat screen Smart TV, and even a cute balcony. The room was extremely clean. The staff serves a small breakfast in the morning including cereal, pastries, and juice. The best part though was the price. The suite was only $130/night! All in all, It was well worth it and I definitely will be recommending this place to everyone!

This inn was easy to find it and there were a lot of convenient stores. And the employee in the front desk was so friendly :)

It was a great experience and the lay out was very nice.

The rooms are nice and large. We got a 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. The only problems were that they run out of towels, and you have to get a new door key each day.

We stayed here overnight in one of their whirlpool suites as a quick little getaway while in town visiting friends and family. While the room appeared mostly clean there were a good amount of items in the suite that needed attention. I. E. Broken Jimmy-Rigged mirror in bathroom, room smelled like cigarette, disabled smoke alarm from the previous smoking guest along with ashes in odd places like the night stand drawer, iron holder (no iron) and a cigarette butt on top of the door ledge. I understand this is a 2 star facility however the lack of attention to the cleaning of these items made us a bit unsure about whether we'd like to stay as we wondered what else hadn't been cleaned. Broken ice machine too, so had to buy ice from CVS. It's was a Sat night so we didn't have many other options and just beared with it as we brought our own 'smell good' and the linens did indeed look clean and freshly changed. Although we were unable to get another room, the guy at the desk was nice, did what he could and allowed for a late check out. The room itself had nice modern design, FIXTURES, fridge, microwave and Smart TV so no complaints there, it just seems the regular clientele beat up on the room (which they tried to make nice) and have prematurely worn things down. Hope they're able to get ahead of it. Depending on the rate I'd probably give them another shot while in town.

I called due to emergency and I have two dogs… The manager said no dogs and I said OK. Right after she hung up on me. I called three more times explaining I'll have my dogs be taking care of at my home and I still need a room and she hung the phone up on me again… What kind of business is this.

So I stayed here last week first driving in I didn't think it was nice but after getting to the room and inside it was ok for the price I'm bothered that I see reviews about bugs and all that. I like the shampoo dispenser in the actual shower also I love the fact that there was a microwave and fridge inside the room. The place is very clothes to cvs and other fast food places so that made it convenient to go buy noodles and something quick to go in the microwave. I only pay 70 for the room through a third party of course they wanted to charge me 95 for another night Cons:the spout to the tub actually fell off when we turned the shower on They don't have a phone in the room so I had to call the front desk from my cell to get a later check out time There were only two small towels and big towels so we had to use wisely especially since there was no phone to call to get more There was no container to get ice although they had an ice machine Over all it's was ok for the price I would stay here again and hopefully they take these reviews into consideration for future guest.

Horrible experience. There were NEEDLES in the closet. Not one but three! The jacuzzi was disgusting the water turned brown when the jets were turned on. When complained, the manager said "we get lots of complaints like that, most of them are probably lies". DO NOT STAY HERE! This place needs to go out of business. After all this they had the audacity to kick us out 1 minute after checkout. They literally came to the door and harassed us while we were finishing packing literally 1 minute after checkout.

The location is perfect for me, the room clean and bed was so comfortable. I only wish it had storage for clothes to put away no dresser and only three hangers in in closet. No ice or ice machine no hand towels no tissues.

For the price it was a little lacking. No Kleenex, no ice bucket, no hangers in closet, no comp coffee in room or way to make your own without buying a coffeemaker. Bare minimums for furniture in room. Have stayed in motels that had more to offer. If the price wasn't so high I could live with the lack of amenities, but I guess it's live and learn.

We got a package deal through Orbitz and this ended up being our stay. We weren't picky about being in a 5 star hotel since we would just be using our choice of stay to sleep and shower. We pulled in and was greeted by the sweetest Indian couple that gave us our key right away and even gave us the option of what time we would like to check out in a couple of days. Our room was pretty big, it had basically everything to live off; stove, microwave, and flat screen TV. 5 minutes after checking into the room, we got a call from front desk asking if everything is alright and indeed it was. Parking was very convenient and the location was also convenient to all major places to visit. We were told that every morning there was complimentary coffee and small breakfasts which was so nice… expect we were never up that early to try. Haha. I believed for the price we paid, we got a deal!

If I could give this a 0 I would. Out of all the places I stayed at my entire life, this is the worst place ever. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. When I first checked in, they forgot to give me my room key. When I got the room key they didn't even activated it yet. The person working on night shift was very rude and disrespectful. The room was not cleaned well.

Updated clean worth the price. Close to good restaurants and freeway access. Only downside is you can hear othe guest moving about.

Please do not stay here. 2 star motel, $137. Old, dirty, dusty. Stains everywhere. Property is supposed to be completely smoke free, yet rooms smell horrible like tobacco. Phone, clock, hair dryer, and shower head non functioning. No functioning fire smoke detectors. Very dissapointed. When I complained to the "Owner", a young man, said he would rather kick us out, than remedy the problems. Please do not stay here.

Noisy, unfriendly AC (either cold or hot) and not as clean as I expected it to be for $170/night. *Free breakfast* is in a room with a milk in an empty refrigerator, ancient cereal dispenser and a coffee maker. I don't recommend this place for the price. It's worth no more the $65/night.

Been here for like two weeks. Left for two days and came back to stay another week and I'm really not happy. Found a bed bug in my bed and they did refund me money back but told me to go to the motel next door which I feel is wrong because I have my 6 year old daughter with me who is sleep and it's 1:03 am. So let's say I do wake her up and go next door and they have no rooms now I'm stuck driving looking for a room. I will not recommend this place. They over charge for a queen size room. Just to have bed bugs. I will not be back. Be careful when renting a room here. Check your bed fully before getting comfortable. Something I should have done but since I been here two weeks I trusted them. Makes me sad to have to leave this bad review but I just want people to be safe. Especially if you have kids.

Our first time staying here, and extended a two night stay to 9 nights due to negotiating a fair price due to coming to LA for a family funeral. The location is so convenient to family, sites, shopping and local inexpensive restaurants. We give high marks to the staff: Ali, Sabina, Kathryn and the housekeepers who all treated us with respect and kindness. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated free parking, cable channels on flat screen TV, quiet air/heat and smoking area below in the patio seats. We really really liked staying at the Gardena Terrace Inn and would recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were beyond expectation. Definitely getting my money's worth. I would recommend this stay for my friends. I would definitely stay here again. The inside beautiful, nice bathtub, nice tile and carpet. Everything is cleaner than I would have thought.

I stayed here September 30, 2016 to October 3rd of 2016 to attend a wedding… Room was clean for the most part and the tub was spotless. My husband and I had a good stay, but some walls and bathroom door were scuffed and needed to be wiped down/painted. The room was very mediocre and dated for $100 a night. I found some hair in my bath towel, but all the other towels we received were fresh and clean. Staff was friendly and we didn't have any real issues, but will stay at a different hotel on our next visit.

I really enjoyed my recent visit to the Gardena Terrace Inn… this past August. The staffs was very welcoming and cleanliness of my room and the whole entire property with a great open floor plan and when I book my next trip to California I will be staying here again thank you for the good hospitality… ❤❤❤❤ love it… CHEV.

Cool location, nice rooms. Room did not come with an iron had to ask for it. Sink plugged up and had to ask for a plunger. A/C takes quite some time to cool the place and is literally 2 inches from one of the beds. Its what I expected from the price I paid.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the comfort of this inn. The room was large, clean and looked like it has recently been renovated. This is a great value for the price. I will stay here on my next visit to the area.

It was October 9, 2014 I arrived at the hotel mid afternoon when I checked in they were very nice I got to my room it was very nice I couldn't believe the type of room that I got for that price which was very good along with that I went out and enjoyed my day. As a arrive back I placed my things on the luggage carrier and I checked the bed for any type of bugs which I did not see any at the time. I proceeded to go to sleep early morning the next day on my birthday October 10, 2014 I woke up to my arm very hot also I feel that I had three bites instantaneously I woke up turn the light on to see if I seen any bugs in at this moment I did and it was actually a bedbug so I immediately went to the front desk with the bedbugs in two plastic cups sealed tightly to show the concierge The proof that I had got bitten. It was an Indian lady of some sort I told her that I am mediately need my money back and that it was very unacceptable that I had bedbugs in my room she proceeded to tell me the person who was staying there before I lived there for eight weeks from another state which is also unacceptable she stated she didn't have any more rooms at that time frame all rooms were booked around that time frame as well as there was a UCLA game so I was kind of stuck till business hours on my birthday to find another hotel which I did.

The rooms are huge and the location is great. Breakfast is lacking though, as it's entirely self serve (from my experience). Manager was very accommodating and helped acquire a rollaway bed even when they had none available.

Really nice. Had a iron and a board. Blow dryer, flat screen TV nice beding. Has a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Nice decor. They peole who checked us in who I believe are hisband and wife are really plesent and nice people. No bad smells and its really keept up nicley. They have a cool shampoo, conditioner and body was despens in the show. So no lil bottles that are not enough for long hair. The fridge in the microwave are really clean. Tons of parking as well.

The lock on the door was not present and parts of the wall was unpainted. Did not look pleasant at all. Sounded like there wasbconstruction on the room above us as well. Aside from that the room is taken care of with the exception of an odd smell when you first walk in.

Bad Experience… Maids Stole My Property, Broke My Video Game System And Was Told They Couldn't Do Anything About It, Had My Car Towed And Mysteriously Misplaced My 40 Inch Television! Such A Nice Room To Be So Unprofessional… Pending Lawsuits.

Party people stayed all night long with loud, yelling, marijana, slamming doors. I guess it's for the young street people. My friend was really surprised too because we never know from the photos and positive reviews that it's really not for normal life people. But asian people were really quiet and polite, so it was the difference, but the ratio of them is only 10% and 90% is the party people. And people loves loud nights and marijanas loves here.

I had searched many hotels around LAX and there where many bad reviews about most of the hotels. I found this hotel online and read all the reviews about it. I know that LA has many bad areas. I found that Gardena was a very safe part of the city. I was very amazed on how friendly the staff was to me and my girlfriend. I was most impressed on how clean the room was, and that our stay was very pleasant. On the day we checked out of the Inn I had a very enjoyable conversation with the manager of the Inn Ali who was very nice and very helpful to both me and my girlfriend. I would recommend this Inn a very comfortable and safe place to stay, how ever many days you are in the LA area.

If you want a clean and safe place to lay your head to a good night rest… stay here. Nice staff, small but very clean room… even the wires from the alarm clock were without any dust… and on the 2nd floor they offer coffee, danish and corn flakes in the morning…

I had been looking around for a hotel last minute for hours and couldn't find one. I found this one and they're really awesome. I got the last room available for my family and I. It's a great stay. Definitely choosing this hotel when I'm back in the area!

Clean, spacey, decorative, relaxing, home away from home, super safe, more than comfortable. Super cozy and much, much more! aside from all these great things the staff are amazing! the manager and his wife are more than accommodating and offer nothing but first class service. As a first time guest I was in awe of their hospitality and now that I frequent my favorite hotel in the south bay area I feel like it's my home away from home mixed in with vacation. From my husband to my children we all enjoy our stay here at the gardena terrace inn! I highly recommend this place and truly love it.

The managers and the staff of the Gardena Terrace Inn are such generous kind hearted people. My family experienced a fire and had to leave the house for a while and the managers made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable the whole time. The rooms were so nice, clean, and spacious. So for that I truely want to say thank you for the hospitality and I definitely will be visiting again :) This place was awesome.

Love this place! The room was comfy and clean. The service was phenomenal! The gentleman and woman we're so helpful they truly want you to be happy with your stay. They will go the extra mile to do so. I would definitely come back here again.

It is amazing! The staff and owners are amazing. The room is clean and beautiful. I had no problem putting my kids in the tub. I love that the hotel is above the parking so you are tucked away in a nice quiet area, like a hidden gem. I felt very at home here. It's as nice a stay as any hilton. I love it and will always come back when in this area.

Great staff and quality room for a great price! Def recommend if you're by LAX area.
