I would rate it good but the choice was average or very good. It is above average. Room was spacious, renovated and clean. However the exterior is beat and dirty. The neighborhood is very sketchy, but it is close to the beach areas and much lower in cost and of course, you can have a dog in the room for free.

Location was good. Over all facilities were good. Only issue was that the room smelled like urine when I first walked in. Could not locate source. Fabreze and candles helped. It was not till the next morning that the odor returned and it appears to be a pillow linen.

Location is a little shady, room was great. Make sure you close the door when you shower or the entire room will be wet from condensation. No shuttle to airport either. Probably easier if flying to stay at motel 6 LAX.

Problems began at front desk. While young man seemed friendly enough, I couldn't hear him through the thick glass. I kept asking him to repeat himself. There was another man apparently training him and I could hear every word he said. But that was okay. The room was extraordinarily overpriced. Almost every Motel 6 is overpriced these days, but none as much as this. Ridiculous. Housekeeping was awful. There was sticky stuff on one of the chairs. The bedspread appeared to be stained with blood. The air-conditioner didn't function well. The shower head was loose and had to be held up. And there were cockroaches. A very poor value. There was a microwave — one of the few pluses.

My room was AMAZING! It was very clean, spacious and smelled divine! The staff was friendly and accommodating and this will become my go to place whenever I am in the LA area!

Able to check in early. Professional staff up front. Helpful with directions. Very clean! Easy handicap parking. Quiet very nice on a busy weekend.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was very warm and I slept like a baby. I would recommend this motel to a friend or family member.

Love it rooms really clean I stayed there for 3 days and the lady's that clean the rooms would clean the room every day change the blankets and pillows changed.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking room as I requested. The door had a non-smoking sign on the door. However, as soon as I opened the door, the smell of smoke was so strong that I had to leave the door and window opened with the fan at full blast. Besides the strong smoke door, there were 2 roaches on the wall that went to hide as we entered. I went to get my money back to look for another motel, but their policy did not allow for a refund even though it was a smoking room and had roaches which I did requested neither of these. For $40 more I could have gotten a better room at a hotel instead.

It’s an okay place. We got Non-smoking king bed room. Everything was clean and tidy. Only downside is the parking lot. There’s only room for one car to come into and out of the lot. Also, all the parking spots are tiny. You can barely fit into a spot without parking on/over the line or being too close the car next to you.

I wish your site can assign parking to the room number. I spent some time sitting in my car waiting for someone to leave. But still remains the best motel in the general location.

This was the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. That guy at the front desk I don't remember his name but he was a great guy. The best place hands Down.

Busy location. Clean rooms. Quiet spot at night. Friendly staff and cute rooms.

It is a Place of recreasion with pool and comfortable to relax in weekend with the family I highly recommend him before in San Diego, california eztuve x aya and also excellent comfort.

This Motel 6 looks just as depicted in the display photos. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi was free, and so was the fresh coffee available each morning. The parking area was well lit, the staff was friendly, and they were agreeable to our late check-in, and our special requests. This was a very nice place to stay for the price and there was easy access to major Hwys, 405, 105, and the 91, plus we were about a 12 minute drive from the beach. We would stay here again during our next visit to California.

We book our hotel room Dec 30, 2017 through Jan 2, 2018. At first we were given a room that smelled really bad of smoked so we had to get it changed, the man upfront was kind enough to do so. The next day, My friend and I left our items in the room to attend a event (knowing it should not be touch or moved) but when we returned it was. Our small items were all tossed in a black bag. We were shocked what had happened. I guess we only booked a room for one night. I had proof on my phone we booked for three nights. Three items went missing. I called to see if they had my missing belonging but they said they have to check lost and found and had to return the following day when their maid return. I had no time to return since I already made plans. Management could not do anything since we booked from a third party. So we were kicked out on New Years Eve and did not know where to call since it was a holiday. The whole situation was a mess and had me very upset.

I use only motel 6 in Gardena, when I'm in Los Angeles, California because I've received only the best of care. I'm a senior citizen and they always give me a nice room down stairs, the rooms are very neat and clean and none smoking. They serve the best coffee every morning. Love it, Martha Sanders.

The room was very very nice. However. The attendant on duty was not available when I checked out at 4 in the morning. I rang the buzzer several times and no one responded. I wanted a smoking room and ended up getting a non smoking room. THe phone in my room didn’t work. I went to talk to the attendant and was told someone would come up and check it out. No one ever showed up. The heater was very loud and kept me awake when it turned on in the middle of the night. I had to have the heat because it was extremely cold. I also told the attendant about that and again no one showed up. The best part about my stay was the amazing housekeeping staff. I didn’t get the young lady’s name but she was amazing. I visit LA at least 4 times a month and stay at different hotels each time. I will not be staying at another Motel 6 again.

I liked it very much, very good place, close to beaches, economical, very clean room, and in the parking lot all very clean, definitely I'll host here, and I highly recommend it.

Really nice employees and also very big kitchen suites with large beds and multiple tvs it's actually the best motel 6 I've been too.

The location was great. Unfortunately, there was a lot of noise coming from the other tenants. When I arrived there seemed to be 3 shady looking people coming out of one of the rooms. There was a gentleman that kept knocking at my door, more than once, only to realize it was the wrong room. To top it off there were roaches in the room. I will not stay there again. The room appeared to be clean, yet there were spots on the top cover and the roaches.

Motel staff was very pleasant. Room was clean. Central location to all freeways, shopping centers. the only issue was there were lights that were out that should have been working.

The customer service was great and I felt welcomed. Nothing wrong. Love the new representation of Motel 6 because I felt like I was at any other hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Rooms have been upgraded and this is not the Motel 6 of 2000. It is comparable to major chain 3 star rated motels and hotels. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. ALL employees I had contact with spoke English. Pleasant 2 night stay and I would return to this location.

I like this location since the rooms are big but not too big. The layout gives a homey feel. The rooms are always very clean and presented well. I also like the beds since they offer hiding space at the foot underneath so my cat can have a place to himself. Also pets stay free at no extra charge, hidden fee or deposit. Motel 6 gets this and so should other chains.

Location ok but a lot of cars if you stay close to the office and is loud from the street. Wish the vending had more variety. The beds were comfortable, the a/c was good thankfully because it was hot out, but parking was not very good. Many visitors taking up spaces that should have been for the occupants staying. Housekeeping was great and if you needed extra towels or tissue, it was not an issue. We had 2 rooms and one had a large fridge and was great for us as we did not have to order out every night. Also, we had a small kitchen where you can cook and wash dishes that you need to bring yourself, and that was nice as well. We would stay here again in the future but would ask to stay in a room away from the street.

Adequate for a brief 3-day stay. Check in went smoothly. The bed was super-comfortable. The new mattress must be some new design. Got locked out of my room one night and no one was at the front desk to help me get back in. Screamed, hollered a long time, pushed the call button several times. Learned that the call button was disabled, because "Crazy people keep pushing it". This happened on a night they were sold out, so maybe the guy figured he was done for the night. My concern: What if I was a guest in distress? Even a call to the posted number for he manager was unanswered. Stepped on a running bug in the bathroom after check-in. No bug problems after that. MY typical Motel 6 experience is better than this.

Over all the room cleanliness was great, the rooms are nice and modern, and quite spacious. The only complaint I would have is that their phone was not working the entire time I was there. I tried to call the Front Desk prior to my arrival to let them know I would be checking in rather late that night and I was unable to reach anyone. Also, when I got to my room, I tried to call the Front Desk to ask about the Wi-Fi password, and again was unable to reach them and had to walk up to the Front Desk to get the information. Other than that, it's a convenient location, pretty centrally located in LA and was very clean and comfortable with a good AC unit in the room as well.

Our stay was very satisfactory. Rooms were clean and the ac worked great. Our only discomfort was the rough small and stained towels. They were very abrasive. But other than that no complaints. Thank you.

I've stayed numerous times at this property, but this is my first stay since changing to Motel 6. Upon checking out noticed that I had been charged another charge (separate from my initial charge upon check in). When asking John at the front desk, he was in no hurry to help explain or look into the charge. Instead, took my number and stated he have his manager call. You guessed it, never received a call. I have called the 800 number and started a report. I also noticed a space under my room door that outside light was coming in. I could slide my hand under the door. I told front desk but nothing was done. Cars were also parked for the duration of my stay (6 nights), covered, in the parking lot. People using handicap space without placard or handicap plates. If you weren't in by 6-7pm, parking was near impossible in the lot. Not sure I'll be back to location!

The area was very sketchy but once I walked inside the room it was nice and had lots of space. I walked inside the bathroom there were roaches and not just one but about 3 from what I saw alone. My other friends also saw two more when they walked in. I was so disappointed about that because I paid money to be able to stay at a comfortable place. And nothing was done other then I'm sorry about that. I will not be staying at this motel 6 ever again.

Great place to stay if your looking for a stay for a couple days. Modern furniture inside simple.

I swear this is the best motel you woll get around here it is very clean and nice and the manager is so friendly just dont miss it and don't bother searching for any thing else its all bullshit.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay and we had a great experience. Staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was very prestine and we could not get over our open plan in bathroom. LOVED IT! Bravo to the staff, both day and night crew!

I have stayed here two different times. I would stay here again. Its clean and simple. Neighborhood is just OK, but I feel very safe in the complex. For the price and the close proximity (15 minutes) to Manhattan Beach, its a good choice.

The staff is awesome and the rooms are clean and spacious. Must go! couldnt stop noticing the indian guy at the desk who is very helpful and cute.

So the first day/Night that we checked into fine reserved the room for a friend. When they got here the guy wouldn't take it out of my husbands name making us responsible even though I told him here is the friends I'd use it. Nope to hard to do. Secondly they one named Pete extortioned us out of another 200. Bucks which we had nothing to do with this room. Which is ok will be contacting the big company.

Stayed here for a night November 7-8 and it was nice. The parking spaces a little cramped but everything else was great, and clean. Wi-fi worked well for me. No compaints.

For the what I paid for, and the location It's at, I am extreamly shocked at how great this place was. You get all your moneys worth. Only up side, wiffi not that good.

I was prepared to give this place the highest rating. Despite its location it was clean and quiet and surprisingly comfortable. Parking on Friday nights was a nightmare and they don't try to do anything about it but it was a nice stay. I recommend stall numbers on the parking spots. HOWEVER, on my last day I saw a roach. I told the guy at the counter and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "o well, yeah". Then the real horror started. I held the price of the room on credits cards but I paid in cash upon checkout and guess what, they took my cash AND charged my cards. When I called the person I spoke to named "Silva" said he only saw an invoice that they held on one card but didn't charge it and he does show I paid cash. Both of my cards were charged buddy. He told me there was nothing he could do and that I needed to call back when the manager was there and that I should call corporate. Oh you bet I will. He knew when he told me that that they were independently owned and corporate has no access to their billing records. I've called back to speak to the manager but they wont answer the phone now. I've called at least 10 times. It just rings and cutes off. Along with Corporate I am calling the BBB and filing a report. Dont stay here. If they don't rob you they'll give you bugs cause the roach I saw was a baby and they don't travel alone! Did I mention that the owners live there onsite. So there wont always be a light on for ya', cause they are using it!

I like this place a lot. Its clean staff is nice besides the clean up service when she got mad and, told, me check out was at 11 when the gentleman gave my fiance and myself and extra since we didn't check in till 2 in the morning. The only thing that bothers me is they never answer their phone. I'll still come here though.

This motel was so clean, not like other motels I saw. Friendly people and The price is very good. I will definitely come here again.

Staff was very friendly and received many packages people delivered to me. Room was good, good size, good furniture. Bed linen could be better. Next room folks were having a fight and I could listen all the screams. Internet was included on the price but was very slow, almost unusable.

Small motel located just off of I-405, and I-105 freeways and friendly staff and big rooms than other motel 6.
