Rooms are roomy, very clean, but you have pay for Wi-Fi, unacceptable, nowadays even Motel 6 its free.

It’s sheer size — it is a midsized hotel with an outdoor pool and free parking for guests. It’s rare to get good parking nowadays and without being hassled by a valet service. Points for the location — it’s right off freeway 880 in Milpitas, CA smack in the middle or so close to Silicon Valley.

I had a room booked for the price that was listed on the website. I was in town visiting for a couple of days with Lyft as my Transportation. As I checked into the hotel at the front desk the girl at the counter says the total charge to my account will include a $400 down payment in addition to the price of the room, and this was for one night. I understand this is a regulation and a lot of hotels do this but to charge me a down payment that was actually more then the price for the room itself… for one night was extremely ridiculous! It’s very unfortunate travelers aren’t made aware of the required down payments for big chain hotels. When asked if there were any other charges that I’d have to come up front with, I was told NO but then ended up finding out about the down payment upon check in at the desk.

Room service and bar crew are the best.

Not good for Marriott top tier clients if you’re looking for loyalty upgrades. Some are available, but you have to ASK to know. Lounge breakfast is old school — all carbs and even limited there. There’s better options for business travelers in the area.

Charging $10/night, as of 12/16/18, to park in their enormous, empty, and unsecured lot. Oh, and you have to walk back out to your car and put a tag in the window or risk getting towed. Customer service and friendliness takes a back seat to extracting 3% more on the price of a room. Pathetic. I’ve stayed here many many times, love the staff and choose this hotel despite its older condition and high room rate, but this is a great way to drive away loyal customers.

I usually stay at the Sheraton Sunnyvale while visiting the bay area, however as the room pricing went up to over $500 per night, I decided to stay a bit further out at the Sheraton San Jose. Compared to the one at Sunnyvale, this Sheraton was in a much better state, with the interior and exterior well kept.

Had a restaurant onsite, gym, lounge and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Not too many eating options that are walking distance but a lot of options a short drive away.

We stayed here for two nights to get away from the fog of San Francisco while on our way back from Santa Cruz to enjoy end of summer. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It has a gym with a few cardio machines (treadmill and bikes) and weights, a pool which my son loved it, a lounge and a restaurant. There's also a area designed for SPG members. The hotel is close to Milpitas Square, where you could enjoy the food from Taiwan, China, Japan and Korea.

The pool looked really nice, and the rooms were clean. I liked the place. Reminded me of home.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. However, free Wi-Fi is only available at the hotel lobby. I would recommend staying at this hotel!

Unfortunately, there is no room service or vending machines! There is a restaurant but it closes around 9 or 10pm. Best dining option is via the standard food delivery services.

Is a nice place to stay not a perfect one but its a place that you can rely on.

Well the only thing I just to say is… This is wonderful, when traveling for business never expect the crew makes you feel like home, kindness is the key… From now in ahead this will be my home in this city… Thanks so much for your time and the effort to do your best and exceed my expectations.

I was attending a dinner/seminar at this Sheraton Hotel and the food & service was excellent. The outside grounds, as well as, the hotel itself was impeccable!

Solid hotel. The rooms are quiet and the restaurant has a broad selection of American options. The pool looks really nice, but it's too cold for me to venture in there! The only drawback with the hotel is that the AC in the rooms won't let you just run the fan constantly to provide some white noise while sleeping.

Very good staff. Pool was great temp. Plenty of towels. And a very comfortable bed. I would come again soon.

Nice folks, handy location, excellent room. I wish there were a little more variety on the menu at the in-hotel restaurant/bar for those who stay extended periods.

Great quiet location with close access to highways and expressways. The upkeep was very good, and the front desk staff very professional. I will always look for an spg owned property when traveling always a pleasant experience.

I am going to share my experience with this hotel which is not so good. My stay was already paid for ahead of time but when I checked in they took my credit card. I thought that was normal and confident that I wont get a charge for anything. Well after a week I checked my account and was surprised to find out that there is a $77 charge. I called the hotel and they told me my account was zero balance. I told them that it is still reflected on my credit card statement that I was charged and not refunded. They told me maybe its my credit card company. So I called my credit card company and they said wait a few days. I waited another week, no refund. So I called the hotel again today and asked. Same answer, zero balance. I called my credit card company and they told me I have to submit a dispute form. Now I'm ticked off coz I have to go through all this because someone did something in this hotel. The hotel staff told me that the amount that was originally charged was $75. My credit card statement says $77. Something is fishy about this hotel. Accounting staff should be investigated. And the lady that I talked to couldn't explain to me how that is. She simply hang up on me!

Friendly hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. They really made me feel home though the rooms look a bit outdated. They have an Olympic size pool which is great for the swim training. Lounge is very cool to! Come and stay for a functional home not for a romantic weekend getaway.

Very outdated hotel. Rooms are spacious but feels like it's a few decades old. There's a mall nearby with a decent amount of chain restaurant options. Lounge for members is very small. Staff is very nice and welcoming.

I was at the Sheraton for a wedding. It was easy to find and a beautiful location for a venue. The staff was very accommodating and even though I was only there for a few hours, I enjoyed my time there.

Nice clean hotel. We stayed on the club floor. The club floor has a lounge for use anytime, along with a printer and complimentary breakfast in the morning. Overall a pleasant experience. No complaints.

Very good hotel, although the furniture and ambience of the rooms are a bit old. The best is the Club lounge!

Tired hotel. Room a bit outdated with chipped furniture etc. Wifi not usable, reminded me of 2005. Strange restaurant. Staff didn't ask me how my stay was, so Ill write reviews. I would avoid. It was >$400 per nite for all this loveliness.

Spent 1 night here and attended a conference. The conference room was a bit crowded and the seats were soso but at least the padding helped. The room was great, slept very well and everything was clean. Beautiful view out the windows. Only complaint was the coffee packs. The 'decaf' was very faint and my sleepy eyes didn't see it until after I brewed it.

Great staff and service! Large and comfortable rooms. Small gym is well equipped. Spacious free parking. Even though the infrastructure is a bit older, it is well maintained.

Service as per Sheraton's signature level. Although hotel is old is well maintained. Club lounge is decent with Continental breakfast and appetizers during the evening, alcohols for purchase. Overall nice me quiet hotel close to the airport and the Milpitas/Santa Clara area.

Clean with ample parking. Not too noisy despite being next to the freeway.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room we were in was a little dated, but very spacious. I've heard most of the rooms are updated, we just happened to get an older one.

Nice place, clean, warm staff, decent dining area. Would stay there again. There pool was exceptional warm and later in the afternoon it was flooded with kids. Flooded to me is more than 6. Other than the kids there being a bit annoying after a couple hours it was a great stay. Would stay again.

We only stayed one night, and thought that this was a really great hotel for the price. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Views of pool from room were nice and grounds very pretty. Missed not having free Wi-Fi in room and would like to have fridge for longer stay, but free parking close to San Jose State was a bonus. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

After spending a full day in the Bay Area, my family and I decided to get a room instead of driving back home exhausted. Before checking out, we went to the restaurant to grab breakfast. It was 10:50am, and the server let us know they would be closing in 10 minutes. He walked away, and we discussed getting something elsewhere since it would be 60.00 for the 3 of us to eat, and only had 10 minutes. The server returned to the table and said "If you can't afford it, lunch starts at 12 and it's 11.00 a person. " I tried explaining to the manager that his comment was offensive, but his response was "After speaking to him, I apologize, but he doesn't have a history of this. "

Solid business hotel. Typical Sheraton amenities. Well maintained property. Small gym. Club lounge is decent. Staff is great. I've stayed here way too many times but keep coming back…
