Great Place! Enjoying very much.

Clean interior. Modern shower. Comfy bed. The only minor gripe were the outlets were all so loose and would just fall off for anything remotely of weight. Parking was cheap but not free and no issues with space during my stay.

Came here spontaneously and it was PERFECT! The rooms are so comfy and it’s got great places to walk around to. I’ll be back for a visit here for sure.

The inn was in a very nice area. The staff was awesome. Rooms were very clean and it was really quiet. Nice pool and the bed was on so comfy. No complaints of any kind. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved the atmosphere. Simply beautiful grounds. Elegant waterfalls, beautiful flora, excellent rooms. Only downside is the difficult to navigate rear parking lot that leaves no room for error. Definitely would stay again.

Charming and clean, well located in Montecito. Rooms are small but comfy.

The most unfriendliest check in as well as checkout. The worst continental breakfast, Nature Valley bars, beyond stale bagels and whole oranges on a tiny table in Oliver's Restaurant. Worn, scrubby linens. One pool side towel the guests have to flip a coin for and pool was not heated. Sewer smell coming out of the bathroom sink. The valets for the restaurant park their customers vehicles in all the spaces and have no qualms about dinging up the cars. We used to love this place, but would have to say, it's gone down hill. No parking at night either. They weren't affected by the mudslide at all, so what could be their excuse? Definitely not worth the money.

Just stay in Santa barbara! Restrooms are small and showers are worse. Takes about 2 minutes to get the hot water going. Parking is tight so unless you want a dent on your door from someone hitting it park on middle rd instead.

Great place to stop in, wonderful staff and the location is walking distance to the beach. Definitely will be returning.

Great place! Super friendly staff, cozy rooms, and coupons for breakfast at the bakery down the road. I've been coming down on a regular basis for five years, and this is always my go-to place.

Very friendly staff and convenient location. Room was a bit loud (with other guests and AC unit) and the bathroom was very cramped.

Location is ideal, although the rooms aren't anything special. The bed was comfortable, which is the most important thing, but I wouldn't have wanted to spend too much time in the small space. Fortunately you don't need to kill time in the room — you can walk right out into Coast Village Road and visit fun shops, find cool restaurants, or stroll along Butterfly Beach. We'd stay here again if we were visiting people in the area.

Super noisy can hear every car drive by, shower smelled like a wet dog, had to pay for parking, and no electrical outlets next to the bed. The only perks to this place are location, friendly staff, and a voucher to a nearby restaurant. Which would all be great things if this were a restaurant and not a hotel.

Fantastic property! They were able to accommodate my oversized cargo van and even coned off a parking space for me for the duration of my stay, would definitely stay here again!

We had a pleasant room with usual amenities, however our room did lack a/c. The staff were very very pleasant. Adequate parking spaces. We were given a discount voucher enabling a cheaper breakfast at a nearby restaurant. There are several restaurants nearby. Overall a nice hotel.

Best hotel I've ever stayed! Desk person upgraded to a suite and their room was huge! When I opened the door I thought there was a hall way. The room was very clean and organized. Service was top notch and I can't say a single thing I would complain about this place. Located in a convenient location in Santa Barbara, CA where you can literally walk everywhere in Union Square. The area is really safe. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

A fine place in an incredible neighborhood. It's not cheap, but it is by comparison to some places in the neighborhood. I could see the ocean from my room. The room was small but clean and nice. A modest pool. Easy walking distance to the beach and many nice restaurants.

My friends and I just stayed for a night… but this inn was so nice and its just 10 mins away from the city… Hope to visit santa barbara again… I will definately book again at the coast village inn.

I just stopped in to visit some friends staying there before a wedding we were going to. The rooms seemed perfectly adequate.

The rooms are nice, but bathrooms are tiny with only a shower. It's a wonderful location with a nice pool and service.

Wonderful classic motel… sister to Monticito Inn where you has great cafe and you can borrow a bike to explore the wonderful neighborhoods.

This hotel was fabulous. The staff are all kind, unlimited organic coffee and tea in the cute little lobby, nice pool and free cruiser bikes. The area of town is safe and quaint and very close to Santa Barbara beaches and town. We did not have a car and did not need one because of the bikes and ability to walk long distances. I loved everything about our six night stay. A great value for the price! I hope to return one day. No air conditioning but we did not need it in Dec.

Built in 1935. I kept expecting Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy to come around the coroner. Small bathrooms but great service and atmosphere.

Rooms were ok. Great location and well priced. Their website does say it but there is no air conditioning in their rooms. We went in August and it was extremely hot. Had to sleep with windows and drapes open to keep cool. People smoked in the parking lot often and it would come into our room. Just don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.

First visit to the area and it was an awesome first impression. Staff was friendly, accommodating and caring. Handicap accessibility on ground floors. King suite ideal for young families, while the Queen suite ideal for a party of 3, 4 would be pushing it. I highly recommend the location. 6 mins away from the wharf and zoo and leadbetter beach. Tucked away in the village, seclusion and privacy.

With the Coast Village Inn, you have 3 things going for you. 1) Location. Right in the heart of downtown Montecito, you are just minutes from everything. Easy walk to Butterfly Beach, one of the best, least known beaches in the area. 2) Price. Look around. You won't find anything in this area even in the ballpark. 3) Quality people. The staff will really take care of you. We stay with our 2 young kids in the apartment and it's fantastic. Nothing luxurious, and that's not what we're paying for. Great breakfast (vouchers for a local cafe), great location, great people, decent rooms.

We stayed in the Appartment suite for 5 days and it was great! We used the bicycles at no cost. The breakfast that they give you a coupon for at Jeannies was the best. Beds were very comfortable. Since we did not have a vehicle we used the taxis and the City buses. Very good wine tours in the area and Convenient stores are all in the general area. Cleaned appartment daily and everthing was very clean.

The hotel is very clean, the price is reasonable. As long as you are not very picky about hotels in person!.

Coast Village Inn in Santa Barbara is a MOST UNDER-RATED fabulous place to stay. Nestled below the mountains in a most high-end neighborhood on a street lined with boutiques and wonderful restaurants that range from high-end to nicely casual. The service at the Inn is off-the-charts. Included in each stay is a $5 off breakfast coupon for each person for the local bakery. That bakery serves full omelet breakfasts and lattes and more. Our room at the end included space for 2 to easily enjoy the free wireless service, walk-in closet, good sized bathroom, ceiling fan with plenty of cross-breeze from 3 windows in the room. It was hot outside, cool inside, and the beds were so comfortable. We loved walking to fine dining and walking home to our beautiful room at the inn. What a truly well-kept secret and most beautiful place to spend a few nights. One of the best surprises we’ve had in a first-time experience at an inn. We could NOT believe it is only 2 stars! It should be 5! It’s just the best.

It's inexpensive but cute, great access to highway, on a street with charming businesses.
