I throughly enjoyed my stay at this location! We stayed in a Jr. Jungle Suite that was beautifully decorated. The patio was secluded by trees and other vegetation that lended privacy to an otherwise open patio. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and both the bar and the breakfast patio have fantastic food offerings! Also — you MUST try the spa! I booked the Seaweed Scrub and the Raindrop Massage and both were absolutely fantastic. Truly an unforgettable spa experience! Certainly a great trip for a couple to relax and enjoy all that the coast has to offer.

The food, the views and the gardens wer all wonderful. There was much attention to details in the service we received. You don't need to twist my arm to go back… what a treat!

The team hear greets you as you walk by and they are very nice and helpful! The facility was great for large group business meetings. Delicious food. Comfortable rooms. Across the street from the beach, yoga facility within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business or personal travel.

Last night was the worst experience — I was booked in a bungalow — that reeked of MOLD it was so bad my throat started to close and the headache ensued within the hour — be careful as the room they wanted to move me to was no comparison and no compensation spending over 6k — terrible management and experience!

Valet constantly welcoming… felt property was safe in our rooms with housekeeping personnel. Front desk very very affable. Sanfu with luncheon reservation for 7 was overcome by management, though it was an fortunate oversight. Overall very good visit.

Wonderful place to stay. Standard setting for a great hotel experience. Staff charming and service attentive but relaxed. Rooms pin perfect with lovely details and touches. Loved the story of the buildings and resort. Expensive but didn't resent a dollar of it (although we were very lucky to get a room upgrade to a bungalow). If you can make it part of your trip.

We were here last year for our wedding and we went this year again for our anniversary. The service is still outstanding, the bar is great, the view is breathtaking, but the food was nowhere near excellent. The stake was cold and had soy sauce on it, the pasta was good, but the sauce was super greasy and the entire dish was not… harmonious. All in all, for the price we paid it was surely not worth the 50 minutes drive from our home. The only thing I am expecting from a fancy restaurant is consistency. If you have an outstanding experience one year and a bad experience the next year, I won’t go the third year for sure.

Greens with a lovely dressing and a few ‘slivers’ citrus and strawberries would cost for a lunch salad, maybe. What do you think. Maybe. $21. And extra for protein additives, very good, i’m sure. Wonder what I got for the extra dollar over the $20! :) Surroundings are unsurpassed still in beauty and peace. Love the big trees.

WOW Experience Four Seasons Santa Barbara. I have shared my experience at the Four seasons with several friends and family members already & plan on continuing to share because our stay was wonderful. Thank you for helping me make great memories with my mom to celebrate her birthday. Your staff, amenities, grounds, property and resort experience was incredible. I was traveling for business & staying at the Californian which was wonderful. We decided to extend my trip & have my mom join me for her birthday. She originally made reservations at the Hilton Santa Barbara but after arriving we realized it was not suitable for our trip so we made a last minute decision to move to the Four Seasons. As soon as we stepped on property my mom started to relax and felt so special. We don't get to travel very often together so it was well worth it to see her experience a wonderful stay. We loved the grounds, the staff, the Bella Vista restaurant.

Good hotel, friendly staff and a big room. All the thing that you can ask for.

Very exclusive and beautiful property right on the Santa Barbara coast. Short drive South on 101 or Cabrillo from Downtown. The grounds are very pretty and the hotel is not cheap. The Coral Club next door, and 2 sets of stairs lead directly down to the beach. Love the architecture and detail in the lobby.

Great level of service. Thailand lounge was beautiful. Service was excellent even when we challenged the check.

Restaurant — The prices are way too high for what you get. If you're hungry do not eat here. You will get 5 tiny, pieces of tortellini for 22 bucks! The drinks at the bar — A small martini costs 19 bucks? Whats happening here? I am a local and go to listen to music with friends, and after our devastating mudslide and the loss of life, they had to close for over 6 months. I really wanted to support the Biltmore, but this is too much. My friends birthday dinner turned into a disaster. They didn't order her food (missed 2 peoples meals), and when it came time for her birthday "Treat", they arrived with 2 chocolate dipped strawberries, a couple other berries and a candle! What happened to a piece of cake, or cheese cake and ice cream? This was by far the cheapest birthday cake I have ever seen. I hope someone in the kitchen management sees this review and makes some very needed changes.

My family’s special place since 1960. One of my favorite hotels in the world. After our wedding here thirty years ago, my husband and I said we would move to Santa Barbara one day. We did that twelve years ago. We are spending our anniversary in the hotel this week. The hotel has reopened and everything looks gorgeous. We Santa Barbarans are so delighted to have this extremely special hotel serving our community and visitors again. The standard and attention to detail is as good as ever. ❤️Love you Four Seasons Biltmore Hotel!

The Four Seasons Resort is undoubtedly one of the most tranquil places I've had the pleasure of visiting. The staff, the facilities, and the aesthetics all come together to create the perfect get-away, tucked in along the beautiful rocky coastline of the Pacific. My wife and I will undoubtedly visit again, the next time we're in Santa Barbara.

Lunch was amazing, from the food choices to the view of the ocean. No better place to enjoy a lunch whether you are working or just socializing. Service was impeccable. Great choice for lunch.

This place is absolutely incredible. The resort and rooms are beautiful! The staff were wonderful and paid attention to every detail. We felt very taken care of here. We also ordered the pasta via room service and man who brought it to us set up the whole meal on the table in our room. We had the tomato and basil pasta for this meal and it was one of the best pasta dishes I have had. We also tried the restaurant which had amazing food and service as well. Santa Barbara is a beautiful place as well. This is definitely one of the best places to stay along the coast.

Absolutely exceptional experience. The staff, the restaurant, the views. Everything was done perfectly. The attention to detail of this resort is impeccable. Definitely a place to visit and stay at in Santa Barbara. Or even go for a meal. Quality breakfast buffet as well but pricey. As you would expect. One of the best resorts on the coast period.

Loved loved my stay at the Biltmore. There is something magical as soon as you drive up and smell the sweetness of nature and hear the ocean waves in he backdrop. The valet is so friendly and we were greeted by smiles everywhere. The service is impeccable and I loved the jungle room overlooking the pool. Not to be missed. Bucket list for sure! Thank you!

Upon arriving, I was attended to by the valet service who kindly took care of me and guided me to my event. The resort was stunningly beautiful and the beach scenery was amazing. The employees were all very welcoming and friendly. My experience overall was fantastic.

Extremely disappointed I cannot even comment on the food. My spouse and I were coming to Santa Barbara to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and I thought this would be a great place to celebrate. I had made “reservations” a few months ago. When I made these reservations I was told that the restaurant was closed for a private party on Friday October 13 but that Tuesday was available. I made the reservations for this day.
When the day came without so much as a reminder email or phone call I had a bad feeling and called, I was put thru to the manager who apologized but stated the restaurant is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday’s during the off season months. I asked why this wasn’t told to me when I made the reservation but she didn’t have an answer. She offered a table in the lounge which is a totally different menu and not at all what I had in mind for a special 25th anniversary. Very disappointed in this poor customer service from a place such as this.

Very disappointed I ordered a platter with cheese and Prosciutto and they send me Serrano Ham! my wife got raw chicken I order Carbonara Pasta and it was salty, I ordered a Tiramisu they brought bread flakes with 2 tiny popsicles sticks? Server very smiley but he just replied THIS ITS OUR TIRAMISU Very disappointed! I was celebrating my wife's bday they brought her 2 cookies and a candle? I got married at Four seasons Mexico City and food was amazing and she it's been at the Four Seasons Budapest and it was amazing for some reason this facility always have a problem with the food, First time I just wanted to pay my bill and leave.
I never complain but this is the second time with a disappointed visit this time it bothered more because I wanted to impress my wife with a great view and Diner but I only got the view this time.

We celebrated my sister's birthday here. I can't say enough good things. The view was spectacular. The service was impeccable! Our server, Harold, took great care of us. He kept a smile on his face. We laughed a lot, and he fulfilled all of our dining needs. I would definitely request Harold again. The food, well… it was DELICIOUS!

Best summed up by the most heard phrase, "sorry to keep you waiting" but don't let that put you off. The hotel was perfectly situated for the beach, albeit a few miles of of town; the rooms and public areas are beautiful and the staff friendly. The bar had a lot of staff but they didn't seem to achieve a great deal as the service was, for the most part, grindingly slow. The Italian restaurant was superb with excellent service and food. The front desk and concierge were great. The rooms were lovely and clean and there was a turn down service. Overall it was a fabulous place, just that the bar that needed a little a bit of direction from a manager and the common areas need a little more light in order to read the menus and see the steps! Overall, loved it.

We visited the Bella Vista restaurant for a family brunch. The valet staff was very professional and helpful. The hostess was not. The food was just okay. The atmosphere is gorgeous and the waiter was friendly. The bathrooms have an attendant and were very clean and well kept. The grounds are beautiful.

Hotel was right across the beach, providing a scenic view when eating at the hotel restaurant. Room and bathroom were both theme decorated and spacious. However the room and corridors did smell "old". Swam in the hotel pool in the evening which wasn't too busy. Pool was clean and huge. Can also use the club pool across the street if you pay $200/day which my party did. That pool is AMAZING! Almost Olympic size. Definitely worth trying.

Gorgeous hotel right on the water front. We didn't stay at the hotel as guests but rather walked around the grounds and had dinner/drinks during the sunset. It is very romantic. Excellent date locations. The cocktails were wonderful as was the service. I highly recommend a visit if not a stay.

Sunny Sunday brunch on May 21st on the terrace, with a view of the beach and butterflies.
We were greeted warmly at reception and given the option of waiting for a shaded table, or immediate seating inside or in one of two full sun tables. We waited, briefly, (nose powder and a short tour of the buffet) and we're shown to a choice table at the edge of the terrace. Lovely. Coffee and beverage service was prompt and friendly yet unhurried.
For the expensive side of brunches, expectations were high. It doesn't disappoint.
The buffet is elegant and beautifully prepared. House cured charcuterie made my Italian tastebuds sing. Just delicious. Fresh and abundant seafoods, tempting freshly baked pastries (though I just look at those and save my plates for the real food), made to order egg dishes and a taco bar (for those who like expensive tacos). 4 hand carved meats selections. I chose Prime, Tri tip and Lamb. Beef was flavorful rare and juicy, the condiments tasty. Happy me. I ate gorgeous imaginative little individual salads, perfect egg dishes, fantastic polenta with a sausage and sun dried tomato ragu. I chatted with chef staff who I found friendly, knowlegeable and open. The varieties in each station are comprehensive. Selections provide something for every pallet, elevated to the demands of a gourmand's approval. Nothing stuffy about Bella Vista's presentation, just relaxed elegance. About the desserts, well, let me just say, delightful.

This resort is great! Every member of staff is happy and helpful. The rooms are very nice. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach and close to several attractions.

Amazing. We went to a beautiful wedding here and git to stay for the weekend. Service is impeccable and everyone is so nice. The spa, pool, and fitness room are amazing. There is easy self parking and you can walk across the street to the beach. The rooms were huge, the closet was bigger than my apartment and even had a glass display case in it (I'm not sure what you are supposed to put there). The tub was decadent! Everything was perfect.

Visiting the four reasons resort was quite the experience. The service was emplerary and the accommodations were a delight. The various amenities were only a bonus especially by the spa/pool.

Nice ambiance. Decent music. Great views. Good service. We enjoyed sharing drinks and appetizers with our friends in the bar.

I think the view alone is worth every penny this place charges. Beautiful property all over. Location cannot get any better! One of my favorite places to stay at for a weekend getaway. I would certainly consider this a 'romantic' place. They do have an awesome brunch with gorgeous views. Why the 4 stars? although the property is beautiful, the rooms are a bit out-dated and can use some help.

The location is perfect. It is right in front of Butterfly Beach in Montecito and in walking distance to Coast Village Road, which is a street with lots of cute boutiques and great restaurants. The grounds are always well kept and the service there is fabulous!

I went to A lunch for my work. The food was excellente!

Good location and awesome view, but we were disappointed with the room，$645 before tax is not cheap, whereas the room is very small. In the bathroom I found a wilted flower in a dirty glass bottle. The second day when we came back from the seashore, we found that although the room was cleaned but obviously the housekeeper didnot do his/her job well, the table was covered by dust and the bathroom looked still dirty. The wilted flower was gone but the dirty glass bottle was still there. By the way, we did put tips on the bed and it was taken by the housekeeper, if the dirty room has nothing to do with the tips, I don't know what's wrong with the housekeeper or with the hotel. We breakfasts and dinners at the hotel during the two days we were there, yes, the waiters looked nice but I was not seticefied with their service. We ordered steak but was not given steak knife, my husband ordered oysters, also he was not given fork and spoon for that. All in all I will never go back again.

Great venue. Indoors or outdoors, patio. Special beer on tap. Staff very accommodating. Street parking. Ocean souny.

Great hotel. The Four Seasons always provides an exceptional level of service to its customers, and this location is no different. The old school look of the hotel is very welcoming. The amenities are large, like the putting green and the pools. All in all, if you are looking for a great stay in Santa Barbara.

I was there for Sunday brunch, and the quality and selection of food was amazing. Top notch, I will make Four Seasons a regular haunt.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. We would definitely return! Bella Vista restaurant was delicious and the view was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the Coral Casino Club amenities and the lunch pool menu and Tydes lunch was yummy and fresh!

March 13, 2015. Went to the Bella Vista at the Four Seasons Biltmore. What a major disapointment! This was our 33rd anniversary. The $ 50 ribeye was barely a 1/2 inch thick and was full of gristle. The 'rustic potato' was a baked potato that had marinara sauce on it. What? The potato was over cooked if that is what they meant by 'Rustic'. Should have gone to Maestro's. The sunset from the dining room and view were beautiful but the dining was disappointing. They comp'd our drinks but for me that was not enough for what we paid. I could gone to Costco and bought 6 ribeyes that were much better than the 'aged beef' we were served. Need to get Robert Irvine to check the place out.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and our stay could not have been better! We headed to the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara after having a terrible experience at the Residence Inn in Camarillo where we were staying at for a convenient location and because we were traveling with our dogs. The Four Seasons is not only gorgeous, the property is stunning, the staff is friendly and our room was perfect. We had our two dogs with us and they placed us in a perfect cottage with complimentary dog food, water and a dog bed. There is no pet fee or weight restriction. The room was spacious, clean and we had a private patio and semi-private yard. The staff was beyond accommodating and everything about the experience was luxurious. We would've stayed here all week if there would've been availability! Can't recommend this hotel enough.

An excellent hotel with an amazing view. The wife loved their spa as well. We had many lovely visits to santa barbara and montecito after moving away. I'm happy to be back in the area again but I do miss spending nights here with my wife and walking on butterfly beach at low tide.

Food for thought! On the 12th Sept 2014 we (four diners) decided to visit the Four Seasons' restaurant for High Tea. The food was excellent and the service was, as always impeccable. The bill, paid by debit card was, as expected $217.73. However, when we checked our bank account on-line later that afternoon, we discovered that the restaurant had submitted an additional $43.55 claim to Visa totalling $261.28. We challenged the restaurant manager and were told it was a normal practice of the Four Seasons to add 20% to the bill and that the overcharge would be removed within a few days. It took five days for the corrected amount to be submitted by the Four Seasons. Fortunately, this does not seem to be normal practice with other prestige restaurants.

Stay at the hotel but stay away from the restaurants and bars the food and service are terrible.

I love living near The Four Seasons in SB, the people and the place are so sweet. Very pricey but it's almost worth it. When we stayed there in May, we couldn't believe our ears when we heard music underwater in the pool. Heated marble floors and a steam in the bathroom. Nice touches. I love it.

We got married here in July and was amazing and perfect. Our wedding was flawless — the food, the setting, the cake (which I cared deeply about! ), and our service from the hotel. We in particular adored Akiko. We had friend and family fly in from all over and everyone commented on the hotel, the setting, and how well our events went. We are so delighted to now have a connection to the hotel and the area.

Overpriced, small rooms. It could use some updating. The rooms don't offer much at all. I can't reiterate how unimpressive the rooms are. The suites are a joke too. Staff is amazing as is expected at a Four Seasons. Grounds are beautiful as well. The landscaping was impressive and gave the place a great vibe. The food is truly 5-star.
