Beautiful and convenient location.

The bar and restaurant has slow serving and the food is not so great. They served us with really burnt toast. The menu was better before like three years ago. It was not a good experience.

Nice view, best location and friendly service.

I booked a suite. But windows were sealed off. Perhaps broken. And pretty barren room with two tea bags for 4 night stay. Not deeply impressed.

The best room for planespotters I have ever come across is at this 4-star Marriott classic. The multiple windows with direct runway view is absolutely special.

Beautiful spot to walk and feel your in a safe place no homeless people or drugs. It’s very nice and clean inside and out.

Location is close to airport We just didn’t like where they checked us in. It’s so far from the elevator and the view was a roof. We asked to be transferred but hotel was fully booked.

No internet — need to pay $14+ per night, parking per day is $40. We checked in for 2 rooms, one of the room didn’t have a refrigerator. No lotion in the bathrooms.

We had a great time during our stay. Our view was beautiful and also a good walk in the morning. Relaxing ambiance.

Huge lobby with a view of the bay and the airport. I was only there for a cup of coffee and dessert, then I realized next time I have an early flight, I will check in the hotel for convenience. Outside the hotel is a park like atmosphere. Along the bay, there’s a jogging trail. Hungry for seafood? Across the parking lot is the New England Lobster restaurant.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. However, all that is completely forgotten about as soon as you lay down on the completely terrible bed! The “mattress” may as well be made of plywood and concrete. We spent the extra money to stay here thinking, it’s expensive so it must be worth it. We were so wrong it’s currently 02:08am and I haven’t slept at all and have to be up in and hour and a half for my flight. I should have just stayed home, slept in my own bed and driven in early at least I would have saved the money.

Great stay. Was a great view of the ocean and air port. Family enjoyed the stay.

Since Covid-19 no bar service but you can order from a to go menu. Beer and wine also cocktails from the pantry.

The views from here are gorgeous! Great area to walk along the water! Extraordinary Conceige room with treats and a automatic coffee bar beyond many of the coffee shops!

Am deaf and the staff and managers can not understand that a doorbell won't help. We made a special call to get adjoining rooms with my family but they couldn't accommodate. It's now almost 15 minutes and no help. The agent at the next computer has laughed at how funny my situation is to her.

I stayed here for an event, my mother’s 80th birthday party. Although the room I stayed in was very nice and clean and had an amazing view, the staff (waiters and waitresses) were not very friendly when serving the appetizers and food. I felt rushed to eat my $80-a plate-meal as the waiter kept coming around asking if I was done with my meal when I obviously was still eating. They served the salad first and when I asked for more water and butter, the entree was basically slammed on my table, as if I was asking for too much. I couldn’t enjoy my meal because they were rushing and by the time I finished they were already serving desert to everyone else. I got my desert and after 2 bites, the waiter again kept asking if I was done. Why are they such in a rush to get rid of the food? The event was scheduled to finish at 11. By the time it was 9, everyone had finished eating and there was nothing to drink or eat for 2 hours until 11 pm. Very disappointed in what Marriott has to offer as far as events.

The room was clean, comfortable, overall nice hotel on the water. I had one issue, Marriott’s staff failed to remedy a mechanical issue with the laundry room, this caused me too stay up and wait until 2 AM waiting on one dryer to dry my clothes. It was frustrating because I had a very long day of traveling, I was exhausted. This room should be comped, I am a very loyal Marriott customer. Disappointed I got very little sleep for the next day and the way Marriott’s staff handled this situation. Without this issue my review would have been 5 ⭐️‘S! The manager never issued my Marriott points as promised.

A very nice hotel located close to the airport, and 30 mins from downtown San Francisco (depending on traffic). However, I woke up with a total of 12 bites on my legs! Without a doubt they were bed bug bites. I have to say I was shocked for an otherwise clean and nice hotel. Would have rated a 5, but I can't unfortunately. Yes, I made management aware. : (

Very nice hotel near the airport. Went here for an alumni event but it was very nice even then. Could imagine a beautiful wedding could take place here or some sort of gettogether. Has a beautiful view of the Bay and a path outside for enjoying the weather without going far. My only sorrow is the difficulty of getting out of the parking lot maybe not enough signs but fine nevertheless.

There is shuttle to airport every 15 mins. Their lobby and bar offer food, while looking outside facing the bay. There is small. Gym but no fancy Spa offer on-site. Room has good space size, some room has good view, depends on which wing your room at.

Very very cool place. The bayside view is breathtaking. The room service is way too expensive. We had no towels in our room on arrival that made us wonder if the room had really been cleaned. The shower leaks a huge puddle in room 4097. I mean huge! Also the hot tub downstairs was like warm at best.

A super great hotel to stay at. It was a high end and nice Marriott. The lounge and bar had some very good foods and drinks. And, the view from my room was incredible. Overall, a fun experience.

A very nice, convenient place to stay. Our room was updated and decorated nicely. I loved the grounds and watching the planes take off & land. The outdoor area had nice seating with the fire pits. Hopping bar & restaurant area. Big indoor pool & hot tub. We'd definitely stay there again and recommend others to stay there.

My staff stayed here. They screwed up the reservations and tried to combine rooms instead of giving 3 room they tried to give them 2 rooms. Then when they checked out they double billed us. I had to do all the work to figure out the billing and the accounting dept had an attitude when they finally called me back a month and a half later that he had spent too much time on this already. They would not give us the lower rate then billed the one room at. Then when I emailed the corp office to complain the sr assistant director of finance replied to the email and still wouldn’t give the lower rate and was very condescending in her email. Check your bills make sure they don’t double bill your rooms!

Excellent and pleasant stay. We ended up having to book a room as our original flight was delayed from Toronto, and we missed our connecting. The check in staff was very hospitable and empathetic about our flight delays. She ensured we would have breakfast for the next morning, and provided us with information about ordering-in food given that we had arrived rather late and the hotel's restaurants had closed. We had a water-facing room, which was a nice view. In fact, beyond the water, we could also see the airport runway, so it was nice to see planes landing (without having the disturbance of the noise, as the runway was quite a distance away). Check in and check out was seamless. Also, there is a shuttle between the airport and this hotel, which made transportation very easy. Furthermore, there are car rental companies about 5-10 mins walk away from the hotel, which was nice as we ended up picking up a rental car to spend time around the city while waiting for our flight.

The is the worst experience I’ve had at any hotel. The day I checked in our ac wasn’t working so they transfer me to another room. While I was in this new room the shower was clogged I called for service on 4 separate occasions thinking that they would fix it and nothing was done, but every time I called the front desk to ask they acted like it was the first time they heard it was clogged at that point I didn’t even bother because we were leaving the next. My final bill is what really upset me. I prepaid for my parking tickets and sometimes got it validated well they will automatically charge you for self park without permission. When I told them I paid for the parking my self they asked for receipts I’m on vacation and paid my parking at machine why would I save a receipt. The staff there is very rude and the manager is a petty jerk talking down and saying that he would do this and this. DO NOT stay here worst hotel on that block!

I had to go to a conference at the Hyatt nearby. My first thought was how lame it was that I was going to SF and had to stay in an airport hotel. Then the Hyatt was totally booked. I scrambled and got a room at this Marriott. It was quite pricey (possibly because the conference was large and I was booking kind of late). So I was all around annoyed — paying a lot for an airport hotel and not even the one where the conference was held — until I got there. This is a very nice hotel, period. Nice design with a big open lobby/bar with huge windows and a large patio that looks out on SF bay. The view of the bay is spectacular. Every morning I ran down a path that runs right in front of the hotel and hugs the bay shoreline. After work I would grab a beer and do my work at the bar while watching the planes land one after another over the bay. The food at the bar was good and so was the steak restaurant in the hotel. The hotel also has the only nearby Starbucks inside it. It was so nice to get up, run, grab Starbucks and walk the short distance up the bay path to the conference every day, then return to a nice bar and great view. Again, I paid A LOT for all this, but it is a VERY nice place to stay!

It’s located just 5 mins away from the airport. And the location is just beautiful. I think words doesn’t make you feel like you see in person with your own eyes. And the best part, they have a Starbucks inside. On a fine morning, grab a coffee, step out, sit or walk on the shore while watching airplanes takeoff and land on the other side of the waters like you were watching children playing with remote planes. Hahah just beautiful.

The rooms were well prepared and clean. Check-in was easy and fast. Location was perfect for my guests and me as it is close to the airport and offers shuttles every 10 minutes. One of the front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming.

The location is not great, not convienent to grocery stores, bus stations or BART but they provide a free 24 hour shuttle to the airport to make up for it. Everyone is very friendly and helpful with the exception of the Hangar Steak front of staff. Otherwise everyone has gone out of their way to make out stay pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and the view is fantastic. The grounds are also very pleasant.

The location of this hotel is super convenient and it's a great price for the quality. Our room faced the waterfront and the airport. I was worried the sound of the planes would keep us awake but it never disturbed us and watching the plane traffic was mesmerizing. We never ate here as the food was expensive, but there's a great restaurant down the waterfront trail that was an easy walk, and the concierge is very amenable to providing referrals to other eateries. The gym and pool area were clean and spacious as were the rooms. The kindness and friendliness of the staff really puts this place over the top though. We will definitely stay here again.

I love this hotel. Its proximity to the ocean is fantastic the views are amazing. There are walking trails and everything is so beautiful. There's a fantastic Club Lounge with free breakfast and dinner. The staff is amazing, the rooms are awesome. I just love it.

Location is very close to the airport and has a pretty good selection of restaurants close by. There is a waterfront walkway that stretches about a mile. Nice walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only odd thing was the sliding door on the bathroom doesn't lock or really close all the way. Staying with a buddy that is mischievous was interesting going to the bathroom. Hotels should always provide bathroom privacy. Other than that, this hotel is legit!

This hotel is right next to the airport but is do quiet you don't even hear planes flying overhead. The lobby is clean. Nice bar and restaurant is good. Food comes out quick. The rooms are clean well furnished. The prices are avg for the area. Nice grounds. Parking was free. Shower pressure was great. Most bay area hotels have low pressure but this one is awesome.

Great waterfront location! Take advantage of the trail that follows the water's edge; great for a walk, jog or stroll. Better than average concierge lounge, with a good variety of hot and cold foods. Love the candy dispensers that are there to please the child in you! Free San Francisco area postcards available in the lobby. Front desk will even mail them for you!

I went to a professional event. The event consisted of around 500 people. The venue was nice, but the food was okay. The main course arrived cold but it is understandable when you got to serve 500 people steak dinners at the same time. They ran out of Self parking but they offered valet for free. Overall it was decent.

Good hotel, good service, if you are stay in the hotel or dining. Please remember the service staff to stamp your parking card, you can free parking. Otherwise, parking fees. The hotel environment is very good, the service is thoughtful, in the hotel accommodation or dining, please remember to ask the service personnel to stamp on your parking card, can park for free. Pauline, Eileen and Ryan at the Marriott Waterfront are a wonderful group of people and their customer service is above elite. Here's the story we arrived in San Francisco and our cab driver took us to the wrong Marriott. So we proceeded to cancel at one and rearrange our reservations to the Waterfront. We called Marriott reservations and the gal on the phone was elite as well (I cant remember her name). So the short of the story is Thank you Team Waterfront. I am in sales and customer service and the did a superb job. Thanks.

We didn't stay at the hotel. But went to the Starbucks inside. The ambience is fantastic, and there was a beautiful Christmas tree. The common area is also a dining area with a bar, and the place was very festive. We can see the water, and the also see planes take off and land — it's beautiful! The Starbucks inside is quite cozy. There was free Wi-Fi and it was at a good speed.

The place is very clean with a nice view. To see the sea and the airport. Those who work there are very friendly.

My family and I had Christmas dinner at Hangar Steak restaurant inside the hotel. There was a limited Prix fixe holiday menu offered. The view was great and the food was good. Our server was very nice but it took forever to get our food/drinks. You'd think that with only three items on the menu, the food would come out pretty quickly but we were there for about 2.5 hours in total. This wouldn't be a problem normally but we had two little kids with us and it never pays to make a 2 year old wait for their dinner. I can't complain too much, though, because we had dinner here last year for Christmas and had the exact same problem. We'd try somewhere else but this place is so convenient. Also, it took forever for them to get back to me regarding holiday reservations. I left messages twice (in November) and they finally responded about a week before Christmas.

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous in the inside, the renovations looked amazing. The lounge was really well stocked and comfortable to spend time in. I had a waterfront view room and I loved every second of the view. I shared a room with my mother and my husband for a weekend trip to San Francisco and while if I had been using the bed on my own it would've been fine, it wasn't meant for two peopl. Other than that, every person we interacted with was friendly and helpful, overall a great experience.

I recommend this hotel for lodging. This close to the airport and to the few of the sea, the view over the sea this well. The food is also very good.

The rooms were clean, very new, and very nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable and clean. The staff were very courteous and the shuttle to the airport comes around every 10 minutes in the early morning so it's very convenient. I ate dinner in the lounge area and it was excellent as well. This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in in the past year and I'll look to stay here again if I need a hotel near the airport in the future.

Was here for three days during a large conference. The hotel is actually quite nice, has a large bar and atrium space, and the event space is roomy and breaks down well into many smaller meeting rooms. The food quality is fair, though we probably didn't have the high end menu (though the baked goods were high quality). Last, the hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. I should note that there is a $26/day parking fee, but that can be negotiated. There are only a couple hundred parking spaces, so best that individuals stay there or expect to use shuttles / alternate transportation if a large event.

My husband and I just arrived from Singapore and we got a room in San Francisco. After a 16 hour flight all I wanted to do was soak in a hot bath and get a good night's sleep, but shortly after we checked in I walked into the bathroom only to find out that we had paid 411$ for a room with no tub! Hotels are supposed to have all the comforts of home and I have a tub in my home, why don't they have one here? I asked the manager this question and instead of giving us another room, his reply was " well, you must not have requested a room with a tub" … What? We didn't request a room without one and we shouldn't have to ask if the room has a standard bathroom. As I walked away the manager said "I hope you have a good nights sleep" … well it's 3AM and I have not slept because I cannot relax without soaking my aching bones! … I will never stay here again!

I really enjoy coming to this place to do work after I leave the office. There is a large, Grand room in which to sit in. One can optionally sit outside near the fire pits as well and watch the airplanes come in over a beer, very relaxing Sometimes It can be a little cold inside, so make sure you bring a jacket. Bonus points for the Shoe Shine Service lady, who does a great job on any of my shoes while I'm there doing work.

Wonderful hotel for one night stay on late arrivals or early departures! M Club Lounge opens 24/7! Friendly staff! Modern and Clean! Gorgeous view of the bay and runway at their bar and requested rooms! Good sized gym!

We were trapped in San Francisco due to hurricane Irma and had to extend our stay waiting on Orlando airport to open up. We were paying 150 night and when asked for extension were told it would be 546 a night. Our issue was we had special circumstances and a city who had to deal with earthquakes might have some empathy for something out of a customers control. The staff was rude — lied about room availability (one person said plenty available the other said none available). None of the managers had any "power" to change the rates which I had previously done so again the staff thinks only of profit and not circumstances and lied about their ability to change it. Might be nice for the staff to come to Florida and see how hotels accommodate people in distress from circumstances beyond a customers control. Staff seemed more worried about punishing the person who gave us first extension then showing any empathy for our situation. Anyway I'm done with Marriott. They had plenty of rooms to accommodate us and chose to stick it to us. We chose to leave. As someone who travels a lot like was said in Pretty Woman-"big mistake". Spreading the word of my experience.

Great rooms, neat views of the airport and fast access to the airport. The personel from the front desk was really helpful and the check in fast. The room was clean and spacious with a king bed. Inside the hotel you can find an Starbucks but it closes at 4:30pm. I went for a walk at 5am and everyone was very friendly. The prices on the menu were a little high, but the quality was really good!

The rooms are nice and the overall hotel is good but I would avoid the bar /restaurant. I've been waiting on our server for 20 minutes as I write this and can't seem to get any service though she has walked by a good dozen times. A bit on the pricey side as well. Well, just dropped off another star because after waiting another 30 minutes and having another employee get our server I'm convinced there is NO service here. If you looking just for a room is nice but avoid the bar as you CANNOT get any service.

Great hotel. Very nice and welcoming. Ryan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very modern and good size with great views. Definitely recommend this place. Also the convenience of Starbucks at the hotel made it very easy for morning coffee :)

Nice hotel on the bay. Good clean room. The seafood chowder at the bar was delicious. Take a walk along the water or just sit and watch the airplanes take off and land at the airport across the bay (don't worry, you can hardly hear them in your room). Free shuttle to and from the airport.

Modern Marriott property with a beautiful view of the airport runway and waterfront while still being fairly quiet. The lobby is nice and large with a beautiful bar and lounge. The M Club is nice but no snack service on Friday night, while typical, is disappointing. Shuttles were completely full, and they service 2 hotels. I think they should either have larger shuttles or more of them. Will stay again if I am in the SFO area.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially adept at international guests with various languages. Great lobby bar personnel and lovely view of the water. M Club and restrooms we're clean as we're guest rooms. Everyone from bell staff to desk and phone reception people we're helpful with some difficult customer situations.

Friendly convenient hotel and conference center. The lobby has a nice bar with a good craft beer selection and good food. Enjoy a drink and meal on the outdoor patio overlooking the bay and watch in amazement as the planes take off land and taxi around SFO. Convenient running path along the bay, about 2 miles end to end allows for a safe a scenic walk or run. Full Starbucks in the lobby as well as a nice lounge for priority rewards members. The rooms are nice and recently updated.

I was impressed with this hotel. I was placed here by my travel team for a work event, never would have thought to book here unless I was flying out. The lobby is pretty stunning with huge multi-story windows looking out to the bay. The Club M has a good breakfast for those of you with status with Marriott. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room I had was updated and had excellent views of the bay and airport. I didn't really notice the noise from the planes but I did hear other people complain about them. I also used the gym which was above average for a hotel gym.

I have had the best service at this place every time I come visit. A server, Alyssa, always takes care of me and makes solid recommendations. She makes my stay at the Marriott worth it. Fantastic beer selection at the Flights 101 as well, tons of local craft.

19 — 21 May. Conveniently located by the water near San Francisco airport, this hotel has it all. Clean, spacious, room with a view over looking the bay and the runway. Restaurant is fantastic and the food was Good and unique. Reception was nice. Every officer/worker was good but destroyed by that idiot bellboy. Windows were not cleaned from outside. Room service was very good.

Looked at the Marriott as a potential wedding venue. Great waterfront location, reasonable package pricing and accommodations for very large wedding parties. Unfortunately, for 400 ppl or less the Grand Ballroom must be shared with another wedding party (room is separated by large wall divider). No windows in the ballroom, carpets are outdated and hard to match with a theme. Overall 3/5.

I stayed here for a multi-day conference. I was very impressed with the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. Loved the bed-I slept so well. The food was excellent and the staff very accommodating. It was lovely bring right by the water. I enjoyed being able to watch the plans take off across the water without being so close that the noise was annoying. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel is clean and the employees here are very helpful. The beds are very comfortable. There is a free shuttle that leaves every hour to take you to farther into town making it easy to grab stuff from Safeway or just visiting the nearby shops. They do have some bizarre, sliding glass bathroom doors though. They're frosted, so you can't see through them, but you can't lock them and they don't do anything to muffle any noises that may come from within. If you're by yourself, that's fine. But, if you're staying with a bunch of friends…

Stopped by late at night to eat at the restaurant and watch the Warriors game. It's my 5th time there and once again I'm not surprised with the restaurant as a whole The food is pretty good, really expensive for the quality though. The service is another story, the service is lacking tremendously. Not because of the servers themselves but because of manning. I saw one server for the 40+ of us there, the entire time. That itself should steer you clear of this place, considering you're paying $18 for a burger. They get away with these prices because of the convenience for its guests.

Not recommended. Much older construction I suspect and very little soundproofing. Clearly hear every landing and takeoff until past midnight. Starts again at 6:00. Also lousy airport shuttle service. I'm a platinum member and love Marriotts so adding this review reluctantly.

Very courteous and helpful staff. Very welcoming at reception and the bar area. Really appreciated the early checkin at 9am after a 15 hour flight (no charge). Wireless is good and probably due to the fact that the rooms have free Netflix, Hulu and Youtube streaming apps. So you didnt need to use hotel Wi-Fi for that.

This is one of my favorite hotels in the Bay area. They have a great location on the waterfront and very near the airport. Inside, they have renovated like crazy and have a great lounge with a large selection of hors d'oevres. Jet noise from the airport less than a mile away is almost nonexistent inside. Great facilities and convenient to both SF and SV. Highly recommended!

I was invited by a friend to the concierge lounge. It was an excellent experience. Food and drinks were great, and the ambience was nice balance of group intimacy and a bar with thea good buzz/chatter. I would definitely go back.

This was an amazing place. Great view, courteous staff, and good food. A young man named Justin M. Helped me with several things. He was incredibly courteous and very helpful.

Hotel room was nice clean and updated. Hotel staff was super fixed minor issues within 10 mins no questions asked. Food was a bit over priced for small serving ate at hotel bar restaurant.

This place has great staff and is a truly magnificent location. This is an Awesome property that never disappoints. I absolutely love this hotel.

Great view from the patio! This hotel has the hottest hot tub and the warmest pool. The room service is excellent and fast, the kid's meals are inexpensive and giant. Walk to elephant bar, Benihana and more! The downside is the $25 a day charge for parking, and the bar has nice bartenders, but it took me 15 minutes to order a glass of wine, and I was sitting AT the bar.

We stayed here on a visit to San Fancisco in September. While the hotel is not close to the city there are a few options for transportation into the city. First is obviously by car and second is hotel shuttle to airport then the BART. We drove and its about 30 minute drive, but it's easy. The hotel was very nice. One of the best Marriotts I've stayed at ever. The breakfast in the M Lounge was superb (gold and platinum members). I would definitely stay here again and recommend others stay here. The rooms were modern and it seems to be a new hotel. The view of the airport and little walking path by the airport is also nice. I didn't notice much noise from the airport either.

I just stayed there this last weekend is ok. Very clean and friendly staff no complain except for the food OMG it was expensive and disgusting like seriously 18$ for a flavorless piece of crap … PLEASE REVIEW YOUR MENU AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

This by far was one of the worst stays ever these people want to eat your money. The only thing good about this hotel is the room service and the pool lady. PLEASE I beg you, do not waste your time and money and stay somewhere else.

Your hotel always have a bad taste in my mouth because my husband decided to go out on me the other night by himself to your hotel.

No free Wi-Fi, no free parking, no fridge. What kind of hotel charges you to park? Assiatants managers reason? "We charge the public to park here too so to make sure our guests have parking, we charge. ". Or, you can just limit your parking to guests.

Very close to SFO — 5 minute taxi to the airport any time of day, even with traffic. Right on the bay with the Bay Shore Trail out the back of the hotel. Very nice concierge lounge. Excellent bar and open area to relax with a view of the bay. On a nice day take a long walk on the Bay Shore Trail. Had one of the refurbished rooms and it was very nice. Pay extra for the bay side view — it is worth it. This hotel has a very cosmopolitan feel to it for me. Exceptional Marriott service.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The location is great for access to SFO and they have a free shuttle there as well. No free continental breakfast and no free Wi-Fi is unfortunate however.

No free Wi-Fi if you are not a member but expensive as @! ##.

Paper thin walls! Explicitly asked for a room without an adjoining door so I won't hear my neighbor! Doesn't seem to matter as I've been listening to her talk for hours now. Poor job @Marriott.

Nice hotel. Problem was with the "pre-loaded" and clogged toilet in my room. What was worse was the management's view that this really wasn't much of a problem.

Stayed here during the Summer of 2012 for vacationing: Great Location as it's in the vicinity of San Francisco's Airport | Atmosphere within Hotel and Lounge is Relaxing/Elegant. Room with view was pleasant as well as the dining. Surely would come to this location again as well as recommend. Cheers.

Room have old moldy smells. I requeted room change and this room as same old moldy smell. I usualy stay at Hyatt or Hilton and I have no issue there. I am getting headache smelling this old mold smell. My company use hotels around this area a lot so they all offer free internet but not Marriott. And when I asked for refrigrator since I am staying for a week, they wants to charge $20! Hyatt have in every room! I need to go buy Fabreze. Next time when I request hotel, I will make sure to not to include Marriott.

Wonderful views of SF Bay and mountains from the lobby and back rooms of the hotel. A little bit of airport noise but it's not bad, and it's a small price to pay so the kid inside of you can watch the planes take off and land. Lakefront path along the back of the property is good for a stroll or run. If you want an out-of-hotel adventure, Joe's Cafe just across the street has tasty sandwiches and a quirky owner. Hotel feels a little old but also cozy, and the lobby is a great place to work. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient for early-morning flights back to the east coast, there is a regular shuttle to/from SFO.

It is not the best but they have a good price and this thing close enough if you are traveling by car.
