Great location and friendly staff.

Awesome place very clean and friendly staff.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn in late June. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a different story. As we walked in there were not many guests in the dinning area. I scanned for a table for 2, found it but as we approached it I noticed the table had not been wiped off. The floor had food crumbs. I looked for a waiter/waitress but there was none.
I used the hot water at the coffee station to wipe off the table. We went to the food area but I couldn't find any white bread so I went to the kitchen door and called out. One of the guest told me he saw the kitchen helper walked up to the front desk. I found him there talking, I approached him and asked for the bread. He walked back to the food station with me, pulled out the bread draw and showed me the content. I told him I would like to have white bread, his replied was we don't serve white bread here and walked off. I looked at the pastries tray and saw a few pieces left so I went to the waffle station. Unfortunately the batter container was emptied, I went to the kitchen again and told the helper. He looked annoyed and went to check it. He filled it back up and went back to kitchen. When my waffle was done I discovered the syrup jar was also emptied. Once again I went to the kitchen and asked the helper to fill it back up. While I was talking to him another guest approached him and told him that the juice station was also emptied.

Sadly the mattress we slept in passed away several years ago. The fridge talked all night. The television was very old. Etc etc etc.

A nice hotel with all the amenities. Was disappointed by how firm the mattress was. I like a softer bed, and didnt sleep real well. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay.

Arrived late 8/31/2018 extremely tired from our drive to this hotel which we have stayed many times. Check in workers were very rude no friendly greeting made us feel very uncomfortable. You work with people day n night your staff shouldn't be rude they need to work on people ethics. This is a well known hotel. Your cleaning staff were amazing great job!

I am very happy with this hotel. This is a must see at the foot of the mountains. Nice laid back community, great people here. The staff is top notch and the scenery is priceless. I am going to give this hotel a 4.5 rating, and you won't be disappointed!

Staying here while our house is under construction. Nice, new rooms. Quiet & freeway close.

Convenient access to the 101 highway. Rooms were quiet with comfortable beds. Breakfast was decent.

Clean, relatively small location — conveniently close to the freeway. I stayed only for one night, but I was impressed with how well the room was maintained. Couldn't find the blackout curtains until I was leaving — they're sort of concealed — but it's all right, because the views were quite nice. No freeway noise either.

Had a pretty unpleasant experience here. Check in was fine, but then the evening manager was unwelcoming and downright hostile. I highly recommend that families not stay here and if you are traveling with a group, definitely stay elsewhere. I have traveled with groups and stayed at countless Hampton Inns, but this experience was so out of the norm and terrible that I had to post. In the morning, after Mr. Hostile did his best to make our stay as poor as possible, we were treated to no less than a half dozen F bombs by the staff working in the hallway. Why work in the hospitality industry if you are not going to be hospitable?

Hampton Inn is our favorite Hilton chain and this location didn’t disappoint (other than the rather steep summer rate). Clean, spacious room and an indoor pool that my kids loved. We have several other weekends booked over the summer for baseball and are looking forward to enjoying the amenities.

The place was clean. The staff was awesome. This is why I stick with the Hilton family of hotels!

Hotel was clean and comfortable but there were a couple of maintenance issues that should not happen at hotel at this level. First the side door slammed really hard on closing. Hard enough to take off a finger maybe. Second, the clothes hooks in the bathroom spun around to drop what ever you hang on them. I would rate it at two stars for this but the staff was very nice and the place was very clean which is most important to me.

The rooms were nice but not as clean as one would like. The breakfast was as to be expected. The staff was nice. Overall, it was fine. I've been impressed by Hampton Inns in the past and I've been disappointed by them. This was right in the middle.

Front desk and staff I encountered were nice. Pool and Jacuzzi were good, room was good and bed was comfy.

Everyone was great… Got in around midnight so I was extremely tired. Slept only a couple hours and got back on the road… Missed breakfast but was told it's good.

Super friendly front desk staff — very helpful. Rooms were clean and modern, exactly what I'd expect from a Hilton company. Breakfast was also great, with a variety of food choices.

Conveniently located off the hwy, close to downtown. Everything seems clean and organized. Our room was quite large with two double beds and the bathroom was a good size also. Comfortable beds also!

The location was great and close to many shops. Costco is just one stoplight away. Our room/suite was large and very spacious. Free breakfast from 6 to 10am is a great addition. You are minutes from Cal Poly SLO and Old Town. The customer service is impeccable. You'll enjoy your stay there.

The room was clean, but the attitude of the staff was poor. This morning at 6:15 I asked the breakfast person if they had fresh fruit. He looked me in the eyes and said, "yes. " I asked if breakfast started at 6 a. M. And he looked at me and said, "yes. " I asked if he would bring out fresh fruit and he stared at me and said, "yes. " He did not bring out the fresh fruit. This is the worse service I have ever had at a Hampton Inn. At all the other Hampton Inns I have stayed at, the breakfast staff would have said, "I'm sorry ma'am I'll bring that right out. "' The coffee tasted like it sat out all night, as well. And there were no creamer packets if you like cream in your coffee other than at breakfast. I do not recommend this Hampton Inn.

This Hampton inn ROCKS! The nice lady who was at the front desk when we checked in at 1040pm on July 6th was absolutely wonderful! She called a popular restaurant for us to let them know we were on our way and we were so happy! Our room was in wonderful condition! Everything was clean and we'll decorated! The even made a design in the tissues, we'd been staying at Hilton almost exclusively until this night and this Hampton inn was definitely up to par!

It was comfortable, clean, and easy to find. Everything was wonderful… the service and the stay.

The Place is Nice and the staff is awesome, but the bed was to hard for us and the pillows were way to soft.

No Heat! Checked in and noticed that heater wasn't working; tried several times without success! Notified the manager, Debbie; she related she would take a look; still no heat. Debbie stated she would have the maintenance person take a look. Went to dinner and returned; still no heat. We inquired about the maintenance person; he was not on duty! Oh. It's now about 10:00 PM. 5-6 hours after checking in & notifying management of the problem. Decided to try to go to sleep; under covers might be warmer.? 10:30 PM, Debbie states she can have us change rooms! In bed and not wanting to pack up everything, we declined. For this we paid nearly $200.00! What a bad experience; will not return!

This was a nice new hotel in San Luis Obispo and although it is a ways from Cal Poly it was overall nice. It would have been given 5 stars if I was not denied royalty points when I reserved the hotel stay.

It's a standard Hampton with the free breakfast and the reasonably decent rooms. They have nice towels and their facilities like their workout room and pool are both very nice. The pool is indoors and does have a hot tub. The thing that sets this place apart is their staff. Their staff is completely at ease behind the desk and put you at your ease the moment you walk in. They're very professional and they made my stay a very pleasant one.

The front desk person was very helpful and sweet. Expedia sold us a room there even though they were sold out. She helped us locate a new hotel and just genuinely cared that we find a good place to rest our heads. I wish we could have experienced a night there as it looked very clean and beautiful, but I'm just grateful for the wonderful customer care we received.

Beach close enough to board to. Great hotel. Good service. Nice pool. Hottub was a little less hot than most. Nice room. Comfy bed. Fresh good looking room. Great hotel to stay at.

Every floor of the hotel is the same and there is a fair amount of highway noise, but overall the rooms are clean, customer service is great, and the free breakfast is pretty good.

Only stayed 4 hours to sleep. Clean and really comfortable. Hallway smelled like sewage though… Rooms were fine.

Sorry to say I am regretting reserving this hotel. I booked a non refundable price, thinking I was getting the lowest price, only to see them cut rates over $50 days later. I feel taken advantage of and now I'm stuck! I will think twice before booking again at a Hampton Inn.

I booked two nights at this hotel and because it was OCS graduation time they increased their rates $100 and did not offer the state employee rate. Is this any way to treat your soldiers and their families? I will never stay there again.

Surprisingly great facilities for a roadside Hampton.
