Very nice and cozy place right on the bay. No AC in the rooms but they have a small unit to cool the rooms and the breeze should cool down the room. Wi-Fi lacks in some areas as well as being as slow as. 7 mbs. Rooms were very clean and had many other amenities such as breakfast and premium in room items.

Beautiful, old shoreside inn with 6 tastefully decorated rooms, each with roomy spa tub. Friendly innkeeper, yummy breakfast. Close to restaurants and interesting shops in charming Benicia. Good place to stay over after Thursday Farmers market. Will come back again.

Just checked in. The manager is friendly and the room is clean and beautiful. Be sure to find parking early, as the area around the inn is popular.

We are so thankful for the magical weekend we shared with friends at the Shorelight Inn! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the moment Ann welcomed us to the warm farewell she gave us when we departed. The beautiful deck and lobby were perfect for our late night visiting with friends, and we all truly enjoyed the gourmet breakfast Ann prepared! We can't wait to return to this little slice of Heaven on the bay thanks to the TLC and dedication of the Manager Ann.

Very pleased with our stay here! It is right next to the ocean, in a dead end street, quite, with an amazing view! The owner was very nice, and breakfast was delicious. The oceanview room is very cozy, and very romantic. Everything was clean, great experience. Will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely LOVE this place! Best views in town. This little B&B Style Hotel is right on the water, and in the heart of historic downtown Benicia. Great bars and restaurants (like The Loft Wine Bar & Restaurant for great food and wine, or The Office Speakeasy and Piano Lounge for great food and prohibition style cocktails) a short walk away in a very safe area. They will serve you a real breakfast in the morning, clean place and friendly staff!

We had a very nice room with a great view over the water. Very friendly and helpful owner. We'll definitely be back.

Manager Ann is the rudest person I've run across in the hospitality industry. Lied blatantly. I met the owner Steven while I was there and he was great. Steven, Ann actually turned away revenue. You probably should get rid of her. My sister lives across the street from this place and prior managers had been great. She had been sending lots of relatives here. What a way to ruin easy repeat business.

Everything was great except the bed mattresses are too hard.

Ann the manager, helped save the day! Our family was in town for a wedding and had 4 rooms booked at another Inn. The other Inn was a let down from the parking to the exterior of the building to check in was at 3, not 4! That did not allow us enough time. When we found this Inn, Ann and Steven the owner were very accommodating and awesome. I'd recommend any if their properties.

This was my first B&B experience and it was lovely. The building has been newly renovated and has a perfect combination of old charm and modern comforts. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and I woke up each morning to the smells of a scrumptious breakfast! It is walking distance to everything you need for a quick get away from the city. I will definitely be back.

Brand new! One of the best stays I've had at a b&b. Old hotel from the 1850s refurbished with large rooms, walk in showers, whirlpools, and well decorated and furnished. Very convenient location for old town restaurants, shopping, bay views, and bike trail. Parking in back. Seems like the best option for staying in town. Wonderful for a quiet weekend away from silicon valley.
