I don't recommend this hotel because of something I observed in the lagoon. They have one lonely duck, and because they are a social species It really made me sad for him/her. I won't be staying here again because of that and I won't be recommending anyone to stay here. That duck is being neglected.

Attended holiday party for bright future, the staff were more helpful kind and attended to the guests need. They were warm with smiling faces food was delicious I would definitely go back for their morning breakfast lunch and dinner.

They had very very bad customer service! You can feel the anger and attitude with these ppl. It's crazy.

The customer service I'd horrible and gave attitude right away when I only wanted help… we for sure won't ever stay at this one ever again… you guys charged me double on my card and give me attitude cause I want you guys to fix it?

DoubleTree hosted our 30 year class reunion. The service could have been no better. The staff could not have been any nicer. Thank you staff of DoubleTree for helping to make our celebration epic.

Great movie night outside on couch.

Entire hotel smells like chemicals and mildew. Was told they werent sure what was being done in the building but while walking into my room men with masks are spraying chemicals all over our doors, carpets are wet from a cleaning that happened today (we were not told about this upon check in) with no fans to dry them. Front desk was extremely unhelpful. No towels in bathroom and dust all over night stands. And im stuck here for 4 nights. Absolutely disgusted. This is why I will be sticking to marriott.

Local here. Favorite breakfast in AmCan. The staff is wonderful and the amenities are nice.

Check-in was quick and friendly. The staff member offered us freshly baked cookies (which we couldn't say no to). We were in Napa for a wedding so just needed a one night stay. Room was big and airy (king size). Bathroom was well equipped and clean.

Amazing & charming hotel. Just do not go to the restaurant. I paid full price, and tipped 20% gratiuity because the servers did a great job. But the food was a joke. If the restaurant management would like to hear why, please contact me.

This hotel is excellent and very relaxing. Loved everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby and grounds are beautiful and its very clean inside and outside. We've ordered room service for breakfast I it was very good. Oh and the warm cookies that they gave us was delicious:)

The employees are really nice and helpful it feels genuine! It’s ten years old so I learn today and is going under a facelift can’t wait to see the end results. The only fault I find is there isn’t a ATM machine which makes it very inconvenient! I recommend this hotel thus far.

This is a nice hotel on the way to Napa. The employees are nice and helpful, usually give guests cookies upon arrival. It has a nice lobby and outside area with water like a small lagoon. We stayed on the second floor and was nice and quiet. There is a spa right next to the restaurant. The restaurant was pretty good. The burger which came with fries and vegetable soup were good. There is plenty of parking. The wineries are still a good 30 min from there but it's a good hotel for it's value. Overall we had a good time here.

For the price your paying you would think they could at least afford to give you a muffin in the morning… no breakfast. Never have any pool towels. And the water in the tiny hot tub was a lovely shade of yellow all four days we stayed. I think I'll find another hotel text time we stay in the area.

Hotel is located just south of Napa in American Canyon, which makes getting to the wineries and local tourist attractions easy. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but the rooms seemed a bit more like a motel. We arrived at the hotel and checked in by 4:00 pm and was assigned a room. Once we got to the room we realized it was a handicapped room with a bathroom with an extremely tall toilet which made a 6'1"person's feet dangle while sitting, wall mounted sink without a vanity, and a shower that was kind of just part of the room. The shower would not have been much of a problem, except for the fact that the shower head was on the middle wall and pointed to the middle of the room, and made the whole room slippery. We asked for a room change at 4:15pm right when we got to the room and they said they didn't have any rooms with two beds available. We booked this room two months before, so I didn't expect to be given a room like this without requesting it. The beds we're also not very comfortable and the pillows were tiny and lumpy. The pool was small but seemed nice, the hot tub was underfilled, tiny (4 adults would maybe fit), and smelled like algae. The cookie was the best part of the experience. We thought the Double Tree would have had better amenities for what we were charged. I wish we didn't talk our friends out of the B&B they recommended.

My husband and I stayed this hotel for my birthday we had been couple time it always great experience and nice hotel and good customer service. Front desk Louis is very helpful and nice. Restaurant is good food especially they have a few good vegan menu for me with great wine with friendly bartender Alma and waitress Angelica. Thank you so much we had great time with my birthday trip.

Very friendly staff went above and beyond. Hotel is older but they are fixing it up. Its a beautiful lay out. Loved having a patio to sit outside and have a glass of wine. Small gym, but clean and functional.

This hotel is very classy, with access to a nice restaurant on site. The have a large scale painting project on the exterior of the buildings, that is scheduled to compete in early May 2018. This project has protective plastic on the windows, which is why I cannot give 5 stars. We booked over the phone, and no one mentioned this painting project. They have a small sign on the reception desk. Not being able to open to window for fresh air is a big deal to me and my partner.

Nice place to stay. My room was on the first floor and it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Easy access from my car to the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. A bonus was a Pokeman Go stop!

This "1AdventureTraveler" enjoying my extended stay at the Doubletree Hotel. Also, like the pool and spa here. The view of the lagoon from my room is lovely. Front desk staff is very helpful, especially with small maintenance issues which were resolved quickly and efficiently. Rooms are cleaned by a friendly cleaning staff. Requested microwave with no issues and the small refrigerator worked well in the room… Must visit Happy Hour with 1/2 price appetizers and drinks from 4-6pm. Make sure to check out the good wine selection. I recommend staying at this hotel that's only 19 mins from Napa Wineries which makes this a great location.

The hotel is amazing service is top notch excellent restaurant bar and grill. Clean and neat most of all quite peaceful, tranquil.

Its a quiet place if you dont get room near SR29. Lacking in housekeeping detail. No face towels. No lotion in the dispenser. Did not refill the tea kerig dispenser or cups. The perfect delight is the walnut chocolate cookies each day. Convenient nearby restaurant and the tranquil pond. Good small gym.

Very pretty property. The rooms are all named after animals; I was told it was because the owners practice feng shui. Very friendly staff, and the cookies are wonderful!

My home husband and I have stayed here a good hand full of times. We always find it to be comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. The desk people are very warm and welcoming. Had a little trouble at first with the air conditioning and went down to maybe move rooms. Ben the desk clerk who checked us in was so kind he offered to follow us back to our room to assist and show us the trick to their new air system. Thank you Ben and Double Tree for such a great stay this week. We will be back again.

Pretty decent place. We stayed two evenings during a trip through the area. The staff was most accommodating and very helpful. Ate at the restaurant one morning and it was quite good. It's not a resort, but it is a comfortable, clean place to stay with a beautiful pool & terrace area.

It's a very complete hotel. With all your comforts. Very cozy.

I love it. It's really cute, the rooms are nice, and the staff is friendly. Room service is quick and absolutely delicious, and it's really easy to get to. And although I can't eat them due to a gluten intolerance, I really love that they give free cookies when you check in. My son loved them.

They want you feel it is more, but it is only a 3 star hotel. Rooms are dated. Carpet is dirty. Gym is limited with old wall paint. Breakfast buffet is few choices and expensive. They will charge you extra for coffee. Staff is not friendly. Towels are old and worn out. No USB charger.

Fairly nice hotel for the money. Carpet was a little worn but otherwise updated recently. Service was very good.

Lovely King size bed, amenities include a desk and office chair, easy chair with Ottoman, fridge (small), microwave. Nice outdoor pool hugged by a nifty little lagoon with a waterfall feature. A lavacore restaurant, room service until 11 pm. All staff personnel are friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Have enjoyed my 10 days here. I just wish the guests occupying the room above us we're just as considerate. Honestly it sounds like a herd of buffalo cavorting up there. The staff have requested several times that they please show consideration, but that lasts all of 10 minutes. Fortunately they arrived two days ago. Otherwise it has been a most enjoyable visit.

Front desk people and the rest of the staff were very friendly. Rooms were nice and clean, but the bathroom in the two bed room was very small. The king upgrade was great.

Easy 5 stars, given the value for money. Having stayed in 4 different Hilton "off-brands" in the last couple of months, this one is superior to the typical. Nice grounds, nice buildings, great staff, and the rooms are clean. Beds are nicer than most Doubletrees (newer? ).

We had good experience with the food and service of the restaurant.

I want to make sure this is fair and objective. Place is clean. We were evacuated from our home and my daughter purchased a room for 189 on Expedia. We tried to extend our stay and were told that we couldn't because we booked on Expedia and the rate would be higher for someone else coming in. The following day this happened again. We left and went to the Westin best decision ever. Shame on them for not honoring fees and the time of crisis. The Westin is offering reduced fees for evacuees.

If not because of the price, I’ll give this place a solid 2 stars. Its need renovation urgently, it could be the worst possible double tree I ever had. Not because-of the stuffs, simply too old, and the “lake” or “fountain” or whatever they call that is, looks like abundant place from zombie movies.

Fantastic! Huge room, free Wi-Fi, free parking! so close to Napa wineries. 20 mins to Black Stallion. Loved it here :) HBO on tv! Got heaps of advice on where to go from the front desk. Thank you :) :) Loved the free coffee in the room too.

Staff was great and hotel was very well kept up. As a business traveler I spend half my nights in hotel, the breakfast was the best I’ve had since I can remember!

Pricey without an actual balcony that was paid for… but ambiance… nice and quiet…

$300 per night for this?! Not worth AT ALL! Pros: clean room, good variety of facilities: restaurant, spa, gym, pool, jaccuzi Cons: everything looked on the stingy side: no refreshments (tea, coffee, water) in the lobby, and if you wanted a tea or coffee you had to go to restaurant and pay double the price, only one towel per person in the room, no extra blanket in the room, breakfast not included. Jaccuzi was dirty and no net to clean it. Gym was a hole back in one of the buildings with three machines. Room service breakfast was cold, not cooled down, it was cold! The hollandaise sauce, fried onion was cold. Hot water for tea was just warm. My husband had ordered flowers for our room for our anniversary but they didn't even bother writing a note.

This place doesn't even deserve a star the only star they should get was for those who were the house keepers. I booked this hotel a week and a half before my daughter's 21st birthday she wanted to go to napa for wine tasting I booked a room with a patio over looking the lagoon. I got there to check in a whole 2 hours before my check in time to see if my room was ready already I was told no but they would call me no one ever called went in was told they over booked they gave my room away with the patio our card keys didn't work we had to switch them out 3 different times. If they over booked why didn't they tell me that when I got there to check in early I'm so disappointed with this place. Was so looking forward to sitting out in a patio with my daughter late night reminiscing of her younger days. Will never come back or recommend this place to anyone and those who work at the front desk suck.

Pleasant but somewhat unrefined character with vanilla notes (as in "meh") and a hint of humidity due to the barely functioning a/c that went unrectified over the 2 night stay. Staff was pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Location and price were the high points. 3.5 stars ✨ (rounded up for the staff).

I came here for a relative's debut which was hosted in one of their multipurpose rooms. The catered food was delicious and the venue was adequate for our needs with a great layout. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent location to host their events.

Nice outdoor area. Small pool. TV stopped working, and while I don't watch TV this could be a problem for other guests.

Well the hotel is very very basic — — — bathroom small — toilet is extremely low — hotel was a bit of a daily drive to/from Napa. Nothing fancy at this hotel at all — compared to other doubletrees. However I will say all the staff were outstanding very friendly helpful and engaging and good breakfast — I am diamond at HH so I do appreciate a great staff — just wish the place was a bit more upscale and updated.

I'd give this place 4.8 out of 5. Why not a perfect 5? The shower head was at low pressure. But everything else was perfect. Free room upgrade, water and baked cookies when I arrived. Very professional employees that go out of their way to help.

This price point of view, this hotel is really value for money. Service super friendly, and the room was big and clean. Breakfast was very nice — recommended! The only drawback is the location, distance from NAPA and the wineries need to open a period of time the car — so look at your schedule to evaluate.

I spent a girls weekend here recently and cannot stop telling everyone how AWESOME the service was here! At the time of check out I did not know I was speaking to the General Manager Erik but I told him that his staff is awesome, I wanted to call them out Sandra, Marina, Ripier, Justin, and Manuel. Everyone was there were great but the names above were very helpful to our group. Also the food at the onsite restaurant was delicious! We will all definitely visit again. Thanks again for the great service!

Very nice location. Courtyard is very pretty with a decorative pond, all outdoors. Rooms are standard Doubletree. Good breakfast at the Gaia Restaurant, excellent omelettes.

The hotel was conveniently located within about 15 miles. It was also close to Vallejo which offered a wide selection of restaurants and shops. The hotel front desk staff was very friendly and easy to work with. We had a room on the back side of the hotel overlooking the lagoon. The room was quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The room and bed were fantastic and comfortable, but the fitness center left a lot to be desired. Aside from being small and cramped it had no towles available and little room for free weights. The grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast was good, but coffee was burned pretty bad.

They put me in 3 different rooms. The AC didn't work in any of them and it was very humid inside. The bathroom is so tiny the door just clears the toilet. I will not stay here again. It isn't worth the hassle.

A small lagoon in the center of the hotel is serene. The hotel room as such as all the required amenities and is very comfortable. Accommodating and helpful staff.

They said told me they ran out of cookies so they just gave me water. I thought to myself saying that they didn't have to say they had don't have cookies. I felt like it was a tease hah everything else was fine.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with warm cookies which made the experience special. We forgot to bring toothbrush and toothpaste but they were able to supply us with the complimentary items.

This is the best place to stay in the Napa/Sonoma area. Food was amazing, wine list spectacular but the restaurant staff made it a total 5 star! The staff especially Angelica, is warm, friendly and accommodating. Shrimp bruschetta cannot be beat. Top quality food and service! As a business traveler this will be your be your new HQ ;)

Large room. Very clean and quiet. Perfect for our over night stay.

It was a pretty nice room with its own private patio with table and chairs on a pond. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good and they serve all day into the night. I checked out early because the drive north in the morning and south in the afternoon was awful. Moved to a hotel 1 min from downtown Napa and made my week stay so much better!

Completely taken back by all the positive reviews. I stay at Hilton properties 2-5 times a month and this is the worst place I have ever been. It is cold and uninviting, the carpets are stained, walls dirty and when I got to my room to lock the door my security latch had been broken off (keep in mind its metal). The beds are your typical Doubletree bed, but placed in a oversized room with minimal furniture makes it feel like an empty dorm room. The TV is dwarfed by the size of the room and the volume doesnt work. All of this and Ive only been in my room for an hour. Changing rooms int he morning and very sad that Hilton has this property being ran at this level.

The room was clean and beautiful, had a decent flat screen and the hotel seemed to be big on being environmentally friendly which is good. They also gave us warm cookies when we checked in — nice little trick that's bound to be a crowd-pleaser. The shower whistled annoyingly, but overall I had a nice stay.

The complimentary breakfast was very good, staff in the restaurant were attentive and great! Unfortunately, I can't say much for the housekeeping staff. Somehow, there must have been a shortage of towels because we had to call EVERY DAY to ask for bath towels. One time the front desk advised that they took our towels to be cleaned and will be returned later at the end of the day?!? Sometimes it's the little things that make the decision to stay or try another location the next time we're in town.

Ben the manager was particularly unhelpful. There is a sign on the pool warning about having Diarrhea, exactly what I want to see when getting into the hot tub. Well over-priced for the amenities.

Very nice hotel. We had a white egret outside our back door in the pond when we arrived. There are ducks too. Great nights sleep and wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended. It is just down the road from the wine country.
