Staff was great. The only issue I had was the vent in the bathroom did not work and the fridge is leaking water inside the fridge. The room was cleaned but it's very dingy and old. Furniture and fixtures are close to falling apart. Was afraid in the shower because the tub squeaks bad when you step in. Like its going to fall through the floor. (btw I'm a petite person)

Could not connect to the Wi-Fi. TV was not working when I checked in. Hot water took a very long time to arrive to the shower. The main curtain, inside the room, would not close completely — preventing full privacy. The property, outside the room, is in various states of disrepair (cracks in the stairs/stairways, lights in the parking areas were intermittent — fading in an out constantly, exposed wiring in the outside service areas). Trash cans were overflowing. Non-guests were sleeping in their cars and trucks in the parking area overnight — very unnerving! Receptionist did not know how to print out a receipt for my stay. Non-guests were loitering in and around the property throughout the night. Flooring, in the room, had large gaps in it (room #200). Drawer pulls missing on the dresser (room #200). The chair, in the room, showed evidence of a poor repair, thus it wobbled while sitting in it.

The hotel was dirty. Assorted characters wandering the property at all hours of the day did not give a good sense of security. The hot water was not very hot and didn't last long. Hypodermic needles in the parking lot. The staff were pleasant.

Room was not ready 3 hours after checking in TV did not work had to go to office to find a remote sheets had stains.

Can you leave negative stars? The floor was so nasty. I too my shoes off for less than a minute and my feet were black! We woke you to the bathroom floor wet. No wonder the floor was rotting. It's was like pulling teeth to get a wash rage.

This had to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The air didn't work, the fridge didn't work and to top it all off nothing like a cold shower.

This location was the best I've stayed at. Clean room, nice layout and furniture. More importantly it was quiet. My daughter and I were able to get some good rest uninterrupted.

This was the only hotel near enough to walk and get my car from Pasha. The place seemed to be full of "druggies" and "thugs. " My room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking and the floor was so dusty I didn't want to take my shoes off. One of the towels even had a blood stain on it. This was our last draw for a motel 6 and we are never going back. We will pay the extra $10 for somewhere else.

This location is terrible. It's wedged between a freeway off ramp, a scrap yard, and a train station. When we booked we had mistaken it for the location at Hotel Circle. The night we arrived there were shady characters who were high as hell hanging out all over the place, the lot was extremely dark, and the exterior looked terrible. Very sketchy place. The front desk dealt with you through a teller slot and wouldn't let anyone inside which is a key sign it's not a good place. They also wanted ID from patrons needing to use an iron. So they're clearly afraid of things being stolen. Another bad sign. The room wreaked of cigarettes. Needless to say we got out of dodge.

First of all it was not in a great family location. Did not feel very safe. If you are checking in at night the person is behind bars and you cannot get into the lobby. You have to check in at a window. Could hear the traffic from the freeway. The rooms were very hot and one we had to move b/c the air conditioning was not working at all. Even after moving the temp wasn't very comfortable. We took a shower and walking on the carpet after showering our feet turned black. Not a very clean place. We wished we had spent a more money on a nicer place. We did the next night.

The location was very convenient for our requirements on this trip. The staff were lovely and the cleaning staff appeared to do a great job of cleaning the room on a daily basis. My one comment of extreme disappointment was the carpet in our room. The carpet was moist, possibly moldy and did not appear to have been cleaned in a long time. When we walked on the carpet in socks or bare foot, the base of our feet and/or socks turned a dark colour. The pool was nice. The temperature was fantastic. Over all a great stay.

This stay has to be one of the tops stays I have had in a very long time. I have stayed in multiple Motel 6 motels over the years from Atlanta GA to Las Vegas NV but this is one of the best I have been in. I made a last-minute booking while I was in town in San Diego and came across this Motel 6. From the friendly front desk agent to the cleanliness of the room I had a very great experience here. I am going to be traveling back to San Diego within the next two weeks and I plan to stay here once again. I would highly recommend this Motel 6 to anyone traveling to San Diego in the near future.

The bed was very comfortable. The room, however was a non-smoking room yet there were many cigarette burns on things in there. There was a pile of dirt/debris in the corner behind the door where it was not picked up from being swept there. The shower did not work well; the water would come out of the shower head as well as the tub spout. That made for a poor showering experience. The shower walls were obviously seeping water behind, which to me (I work with bath remodeling) means there is mold growing or there already. There was no extra amenities of any sort, not even an ice bucket or plastic cups. There was no coffee offered even in the lobby area. This is definitely the worst Motel 6 I have ever stayed at.

I choose this location because it was close to the freeway and in central location of where I needed to be. The woman at the front desk was a pleasure to interact with, she was friendly and helpful. The maid that I interacted with was also friendly and helpful. The room was a little disappointing because it really could use a fresh new coat of paint, new flooring (carpet or other), and some repairs. Yes, I did rent a smoking room and did expect it to smell like smoke, however, it left me feeling as though I had just stepped out of a 70's movie back when it seemed as though every person in America smoked. The cable on the TV was hit or miss because it kept losing signal along with not having a lot of channels to choose from as well. I did like the parking here, I parked in the back of the hotel and was able to park under a huge shade tree right under my room. That made it nice for me because it was about 100º that day. I would consider staying here again but definitely not in a smoking room.

Never again will I stay at this location! Do not go to room 318! There were baby roaches in there. When I went to complain to the gentleman on duty he didn't apologize or anything. All he said was "I'll make a note of it. " My husband and I live in l. A. (Over 100 miles away) and it was 2 a. M. When we returned to our room from a night in the casino, so what choice did we have to be there smh. As soon as daylight came we were out of there and on our way back home. The room smelled like heavy Tobacco smoke. Overall a bad experience. I would've slept in my car but I am not familiar with the area. Motel 6 you have to so better smh!

I woke up to a black widow on the wall and no microwave in the room to warm up food and the room smelled like smoke very bad.

After the horrific experience of the filthy motel 6 in La Mesa, this location was a welcome refreshment to what motel 6 should be about. Clean and with good value. These rooms are a little nicer than the usual with a microwave and mini fridge, hair blow dryer and large flat screen TV. Thank you thank you… And please DO NOT go to the other location in la Mesa.

Considering how much you spend on the room its a decent hotel with friendly staff, my main complaint is how noisy it is. You can hear the rooms around you and the express is very loud as well.

Very comfortable room. Only problem with room was that the phone did not work. Another weird thing is that the sink is NOT in the restroom, but in the room itself. Other than that it's okay.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. But the first room I got had a very bad leaking tub faucet.

I hope this motel gets better because I really like the location. Front Desk was not very friendly. There were no wash cloths. No iron & blow dryer in the room and the Pool was Green. Lol Please get better…

Room nice for the $. Very clean; no bugs, no cockroaches. All staff were extremely helpful, kind, & very friendly! The only cons were a noisy ac & space between the door & door jam. (Parking spaces were very narrow…) Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Eduardo, Victoria, & Viamey (? ) & everyone else! THANKS!

Really sketchy Hotel especially in the back lot. It appeared that several families live there. Witnessed one lady cleaning out her life's belongings out of her car one night. People walking around the fence canal in the back. As for our room it was not the cleanest the remote control to the TV had tape holding in the batteries however the remote did not control the TV. Carpets were pretty dirty especially underneath and behind the bed a lot of crumbs bobby pins and whatnot. Moved the bed away from the wall to discover quite a bit of long hair attached to the mattress. Sheets appeared dirty there were spots on them and the pillowcases. They do offer a safe, refrigerator and a microwave but that would be my only plus. I don't think we will stay here again.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi tho tends to cut in & out. Microwave and micro fridge. Lots of traffic & public transportation train runs close by frequently but tolerable. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommended only when games are not on at nearby Qualcom stadium. Prices double during those times.

I reserved a room for August4 my Birthday. I was involved in a car accident in which superseded my reservation. I was still charged in spiteof calling to cancel.

The manager was extremely unhelpful and rude to us during our stay. We slept in a room that had mold, spiders and piss stains on the sheets. Avoid this location at all costs unless you enjoy sleeping in nasty sh*t.

Best price in area. No workout room. Need to bring your own shampoo and Kleenex. Bar soap and TP are provided.

The website I used to book said that a crib was available for free. I get to the hotel and find that they don't provide cribs! AC wasn't working. No shampoo or conditioner in room.

The hotel stay wasn't bad. Just be careful with those housekeeping they take what they want. They took my brand new work phone. Just make sure you don't leave no valuables in your room when you leave for the day.

I just had my first bad experience. I really love motel 6. Especially since they are pet friendly and I have a dog who is an emotional support animal who helps me cope with my anxiety when traveling. In fact I always insist on staying at a motel 6 when I travel. However this particular motel 6 experience was disappointing. It started when I checked in and got to my room after a long business furniture delivery me and my fiance had done all the way from Arizona. When I was checking in I noticed quite a few females in front of me checking in (which seemed a little odd that they were all young females) that my boyfriend when I returned reported to me that they seemed to all be prostitutes. I shrugged it off but still felt strange when I walked by a window to see some scantily dressed girl on bed on her phone with window open. I shrugged that off too. What particularly bothered me is when I went to my room I started drawing is a bath and looked up and there were no towels. I called front desk and no one answered. I sent my fiancé to office and there was note that they had left and would back shortly. He waited for awhile and got our towels. But when he got back we then discovered we also had no soap. The girl at front desk said there was no soap and gave us packets of shampoo to wash ourselves with.

Good clean room with easy access.
