The cabins were private, comfortable and adorable.
We loved that there was no TV for distraction.
The scenery was beautiful.

The cabins were spacious. It appeared as though the bedroom had been upgraded in the past year or so. I was only there for about 12 hours, but the staff was friendly the few times I did interact with them. A little out of the way, but I'd recommend to a friend.

Our waitress, Cindy, was awesome. We came on recommendation of our neighbors, Brenda and Frank Hanson. We love (we’ve only had pizza) the pizza! Oh, love the beer and cocktails as well!

The beds and pillows were great. The walls weren't thin. New carpet, tiles, and blinds. However there is room for improvement on many parts. Just as a few examples: the tap water smells strongly of sulfur (it was hard to breathe while showering and we used drinking water instead to brush our teeth and wash our faces), there were spiders in our room, and while I do appreciate the AC unit, in our original room it was tripping the breaker when the adjacent room would use the AC at the same time. Luckily they moved us to a room which that wasnt happening. Understand that they are doing renovations so it may take some time for things to get back to what they were (we were told many stories of this place). It was good for what we needed, a 3 night stay in the middle of nowhere. Room amenities: minifridge coffee maker AC heater ceiling fan.

I played golf yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised how good the greens were and the fairways are coming along great. Please keep moving forward and I will tell my golf buds to put the word out to come up and play!

Maybe it was nice long ago but…
Run down looking place, golf course needs tons of work, you check in for your cabin at a gas station. The cabin areas looked like a construction zone. Nothing around for miles in any direction if you wanted to eat diner in the evening.
They say new ownership is working on bringing the place back. Hope I'm still alive by then to see it.
Disappointing overnight golf stay…

Wife and I stopped here for lunch on drive from Palm Springs to San Diego. Waitress was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The golf club was closed today as the owner was out getting rid of troublesome critters OM the course. Best, was the food was fast and excellent… exactly what I hoped for.

The best burger ever! I mean it. Thinly sliced red onions. Everything is fresh! You can't get a burger like this in the city. Also, the most incredible pizza EVER! $5 bloody Mary's made to order. When I go off my diet, I always go to the resort. Worth the beautiful drive up temecula parkway hwy 79, about 35 minutes from butterfield stage.

Undergoing extensive renovations for awhile now and still has a nice chunk of time to go until they have completed the project. But it will be even better than it was years ago before it was sold… and back then it was one of the coolest places I've ever stayed! Nothing is quite as relaxing as laying in a real mineral hot spring pool. It's a place that all San Diegans must visit at least once in their life and you'll be hooked too.

I grew up nearby in the 60's and actually worked here a couple of summers while in High School. The resort was as great then as it is now I stayed in one of the cottages not long ago and ate at the dining room, the cottages are spacious and are very relaxing. The dining room serves great meals by very professional staff.

Nice to have a restaurant and hotel rooms available near the Pacific Crest Trail. We stayed at the resort between PCT section hikes. This property has lots of potential. Unfortunately, it's lacking key elements needed to succeed. Amenities like the hot springs, RV park and spa are not open. Golf course is in such rough shape it should not be open. But, probably the larger issue is that the management doesn't understand the concept of hospitality. The closed iron gate across the entrance says it all. "Don't walk around the grounds. Don't touch anything. Absolutely no check-in before 4pm". Suggestions: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Keep the gate open. Don't ignore customers/guests when they walk in because you're busy. Smile. Ask guests how their stay was, show a little flexibility. I could go on, but this is enough to work on. Hospitality 101.

I am disappointed to see the place look so run down. There were always flowers planted by the offices and entrance in the past. Got inside the ranch to see that not much has been done to keep the place up. I was surprised to realize that it has been 6 years since the closing of the hot springs pools and resort. In spite of the issues with the county, it appears that keeping Warner Springs Ranch maintained is not a priority of the new owners. There are dead trees and an overall overgrown look that is not inviting. A glimmer of hope is the guided trail ride offered which brought me back to the Ranch. Had a 5 star experience with the horses and guide Dave. Thank goodness for that. I will hope things look better next time I visit and that the pools can be re-opened in the near future.

Warners is located in San Diego County one of the best areas in California. The golf course is coming along nicely and I'm sure it will attract more people in the coming years. The view and the wildlife are good viewing while golfing. I see hawks every visit, an occasional falcon and both Golden and Bald Eagles. There is also a Clubhouse for food and refreshments and pro shop. They're also opening the service station. I'd love to see the hot springs open again. Will definitely return.
