I traveled here unknowing this area or the hotel, And it is very secure, pleasantly decorated and well lit parking. I am a senior, visiting my grandson at camp Pendleton, and booked two nights. This is perfect hotel clean with abundance of coffee for the guests.

The Service is always top notch from the staff.

Our room was broke into! No security on site and management was horrible to us!

I was booked at another hotel through Hotels. Com and I found that to be very unsatisfactory for the girls and I. Hotels. Com had my room refunded and booked here in minutes and the front desk staff was ready and waiting to make our check in smooth and quick with a very tired 16 month old needing a nap. Unbelievable service!

Wonderful and super clean hotel with comfortable beds. The rates were reasonable and all of the staff we encountered were wonderful, friendly and helpful as well. The parking lot is also clean and very well lit at night. Will most definitely stay here again when in the area.

Great experience from Cruz at front desk, the staff were all amazing. Clean rooms, pool and spa were nice and clean, great atmosphere, and good complimentary breakfast! You can't beat a better place to stay for your money or the location. The staff are some of the coolest people in Oceanside and they go out of their way to make sure your stay is as good as it's going to get. Thank you to Austin and Holly for memorable stay here we will always come here if we're in the area.

Very impressed! It's new, so all the furniture is very modern and attractive. The employees were friendly. The room was so clean! (which is extremely important to me. ) It does get a little noisy with all the kids around, so I recommend the third floor if you like it quieter. Free breakfast, and it was pretty decent.

I would highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again. The location was perfect only a couple of blocks from the pier. I was able to walk to all the local sites. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast was amazing. And the staff was very friendly.

Hotel was much better than I expected! We were there for a soccer tournament. Great breakfast, courteous staff, room was comfortable and room décor and layout was updated and nice! I also liked how the remote control was placed in a wrapped bag indicating it was cleaned from germs. There was a good sized fridge in the room which was helpful. This is a great hotel and it was close to the beach.

Great value and they matched the Priceline price when I called directly. Older area but this property is remodeled. Service was excellent with ample free parking. Rooms smallish with small windows but again this is an older building. Lots to choose from for breakfast but not particularly healthy choices. Nice dining area though. Best part was the bed and quality of linens. Area is sketchy but if you need something in this area I recommend this property.

We've stayed at this hotel several times when visiting family. It looks newly remodeled. It was extremely quiet even though it's just off the freeway on Coast Hwy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. No complaints.

Impressive! This hotel is on my list of places to stay in Oceanside. The hotel is impeccably clean. They have a friendly and helpful staff. Amenities such as washers and dryers, spa, heated pool, outdoor gas grill at the pool, gym, business center and an outdoor area with tables next to a fire bowl. The breakfast was delicious with a menu that varied every day (we stayed 4 nights). There is also the option to eat breakfast outside on the adjoining patio dining area. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. It is a great value for the money. The hotel has a very peaceful relaxing vibe. It is a great place for families, business trips and couples.

My family and I wanted to go to San Diego for a couple of days in order to escape the Phoenix heat and were struggling to find a hotel close to the beach at a reasonable price. I stumbled upon the Best Western Plus in Oceanside and was amazed at the low price and extremely close proximity to the beach (0.3 miles away). The hotel was very nice and clean with a great (free) breakfast, free internet, and free parking. The location was amazing. Walking distance to the beach and countless places to eat allowed for very little time spent in the car. The only reason we drove anywhere was because we have two little kids, otherwise we would have walked everywhere. If you need to go to L. A. Or San Diego, I-5 is seconds away. I highly recommend the Best Western Plus in Oceanside! Adrian — Phoenix, AZ.

Great front dest staff. Well appointed public rooms and guest rooms. Very clean and nice smelling. The complimentary body care products are high quality and vegan! The shower is a walk-in, spacious and clean. The location is easy on and off the freeway. No real views. Easy and pleasant walk to beach and pier. Across from California Visitors Information Center. Not a shopping area and only a few restaurants. Breakfast was fine for non-vegans although there were some vegetarian/vegan options (bagel, cereal, soy milk). We would stay again.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our favorite dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. My son enjoyed the fire pit, bubble wall and pool. I greatly appreciated the vegan and cruelty free shampoo, conditioner and lotion as well as allergy friendly breakfast options.

INCREDIBLE! Traveling as much as I do for work, this trip was for fun and I can't tell you how absolutely amazing this hotel and staff are. Everyone here went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. From the little things to just saying Hi (with a genuine smile) to the quality of food and cleanliness of the entire hotel. I can't say enough good things about the experience we had here. I wish more hotels had the pride and took the time that these wonderful staff members have in their hotel. Overall, highly recommend!

I loved everything about the place including the decor, location, price and value. Can't forget the amazing staff they're always welcoming. This wouldn't be a place to meet and greet. Security is on a low-key high. (I did speak with amazing beautiful lady downstairs and she eased my mind about the confusion and inconvenience) I've stayed, this being my third time, and it was a first to know they ask for last name and room number to guests or anyone walking in for safety purposes. My friend was bringing food (sushi) and a gentleman kindly followed him all the way to my room. I was up having fun all night … I planned on having breakfast downstairs forgot to mention their breakfast is amazing and the staff that works down there is just as good. I planned on taking a nap after breakfast but a policy that I wasn't aware of they charge an extra 20 to stay until 1 p. M. Checkout is at noon. Definitely would recommend this place for families and business trips… Solo if your going to stay that way during visit. And no sleeping in…

Had a wonderful stay! Very nice, clean, conveniently located right by the beach! Cant remember the name of the gal who checked me in but I remember angelica and angel at check out very professional and friendly! Angelica has a very hospitable and professional demeanor and was very eager to help and offer recommendations for what to see on our last day. Angel (I think was the boys name) was training but was very friendly and professional as well, I never would've guessed he was training. All in all fantastic hotel!

We are so happy we found this gem of a hotel. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure guests are well taken care of. The daily breakfast is fantastic-not just cereal. It was the full spread with bacon and eggs, freshly made waffles, yogurt and fruit, toast and bagels, etc. We had a great time and the place is beautiful. You know when you meet employees who have been working there 15+ years that's it's a great place to be. We are already scheduled to return this summer!

It was very clean and very comfortable! The location is also really great. Management was very nice and accommodating, although we didn’t have any complaints. For some reason the first two days the maids didn’t come in our room, but the rest of the trip they did so no worries. Glad we stayed here!

Made a last minute reservation at the Best Western Plus in Oceanside. Arrived early and was checked in quickly and smoothly. Staff was excellent! Hotel was very clean, updated and well taken care of by staff. Rooms were very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. We had our two small children with us so the breakfast set up in the morning was perfect. Food was very fresh and everything was good. Kids enjoyed the food. Check out was very fast and hassle free. Next time I’m in this area I would definitely stay here again.

We were here for Ironman 70.3 Oceanside and it was super convenient from both the Swim start (I just walked in Bike trail that takes you straight to harbor) and easy walk to village as well. There was no noise from the train that goes through the downtown area (we actually moved from the spring hills Marriott for that reason — the train goes right behind the hotel and runs all night! ). The free parking and breakfast were great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for others!

Hotel is conveniently located close to restaurants, the Marina, and the beach. Also close to intersection of 76 and Coast Highway. The people at the hotel were very accommodating for my mobility issues. The room was spacious and well-equipped. I especially liked the safety bars in the bathroom. The breakfast was good. The waffles and bacon were perfect.

Picked this location after researching hotels in the area for biz trip. Wanted to enjoy Oceanside without resort/vacation property prices. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property is and would consider staying for leisure. Check-in was good and gentleman offered good information about what to see during my short stay. Would recommend and will stay again.

We had a death in our family and had to make a quick trip. We called Wednesday morning for a check in Wednesday night and a check out on Thursday. It was a very easy experience and we were able to use our AAA discount as well. We were sorry that we could not stay longer and enjoy walks on the beach, but it was not that kind of trip.

Very good hotel, located very close to the beach and the Amtrak station, Coaster and Metrolink, the staff very friendly, the cleanliness of the rooms very adequate, the bed and the pillows very comfortable, I recommend it widely.

I truly enjoyed my stay from check in to check out. The room was quite, clean, decorated nicely and had a comfortable bed. I loved that it had an Alexa in the room! The breakfast was nice because it provided waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, bagels, juices, coffee and more. The tables were clean and everything was well stocked. The location was ideal for the beach (a 10 minute walk), or to get on the 5. The Lobby was clean and attractive, and the desk attendants were professional, friendly, helpful and kind. I appreciated the little store area, where I purchased some water. As long as my son is nearby, I will be back and may even bring my other two sons with me, they would love it and the proximity to the beach and pier.

We were in California for a softball tournament for our daughter and were supposed to stay with relatives our last night before flying out of San Diego. Unfortunately, they came down with the flu so we were scrambling to find a place to stay for our last night. Very thankful we found this hotel. Staff is exceptional and gave us a ocean view room since it was our daughter's first time to California. Breakfast was the best we have ever had at a hotel. Room was spotless and beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

The hotel is very cozy and beds were perfect. The staff (front desk and cafeteria) willing to help and always acknowledged my presented with some greeting. Hotel is conveniently located next to freeway and close to the beach. The pool is big enough to accommodate multiple people. Very comfortable stay. Felt safe walking around the hotel for a little outdoor exercise. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and fitness room. The kitchenettes are helpful and help you save money since you do not have to eat out each night. A definite must stay.

Thank you for a great stay! Clean and very friendly staff! Breakfast was great. The the breakfast staff were awesome. One area to work on would be keeping the pool/BBQ area cleaner. We wanted to BBQ, but didn’t feel like it was clean enough.

This place was very nice. The rooms were nice and clean. We didn't expect to be staying at a hotel so it was an unexpected expense. While there was nothing extraordinary, it was nice. The only gripe I had was that we checked in at 2 a. M. And they still expected a card for incidentals, which put a $50 charge on my card. I understand they have to do that and hold that money until they inspect the room, but it was still not great for a 10 hour stay.

The rooms are soundproofed and if we add that the beds are delicious, you get a good rest; It is worth noting that the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is varied, and there is a bit of everything. It has ample parking. Ample parking.

We were very pleased with our entire visit here. The room was clean and comfortable, with the usual amenities. The breakfasts were AMAZING! The staff were all pleasant and helpful. That's why I like staying at Best Western motels.

Wonderful customer service, friendly staff! The hotel and rooms were clean and well maintained. Great location and a short walk to the beach and the marina. We are already planning our next trip back to this location and will definitely be using this hotel again for our stay!

After all the great reviews we were a little disappointed. Requested a room with a king bed, but unfortunately all the had was two queens. Room was very narrow, and the bathroom only had a small shower, no tub. Very noisy our first night, between people partying all night and kids up in the morning running the hallways it was very hard to sleep. Some even knocked on the door pretending to be the maid. Backdoor was broken, so there was only one door in the front which made for a very long walk to the room or pool area. On the positive the TV was nice, and they had a good selection of channels, with lots of HBO selections. Breakfast was good as advertised, with a nice selection of items, although we would have like some fresh fruit like cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple or watermelon. Location is centrally located, about a mile walk to the transportation center, pier or harbor. Couldn't hear the trains at night.

An amazing stay at an amazing hotel. The reviews about not needing to drive once you arrive at the hotel are so right. The beach is such a close walk as well as the surrounding businesses. The complimentary breakfast buffet was also SUPREME. I would stay here again and again and recommend anyone to stay at this hotel for such a good rate and with the friendlies and most helpful staff. Me and my wife and 2 toddlers had a vacation to remember because we never once had to worry about our hotel stay. It was perfect.

This hotel is awesome! It is just a few blocks from the beach and Oceanside Pier, where Ruby's restaurant is located at the end of, and it is convenient to shopping, restaurants and more. The breakfast was a different variety of hot foods each morning to include, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, refried beans, breakfast taco fixings, waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal with a toppings bar, yogurt, cream cheese, butter and other fixings. It also included juices, coffee, tea and milk. My family saved quite a bit each day by eating from the breakfast buffet. This hotel is a little pricier than the others in the area, but I think that the cost is outweighed by the cleanliness of the entire hotel, the beauty of the hotel and it's modernization, the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast buffet each day. I am an extremely picky person and this place was great! We did hear the trains but it was a faint sound off in the distance. Certainly not something that would wake any of us up through the night. The fire pit was mesmerizing to sit by each evening. This was a family vacation for me and my boys and we had a lovely stay.

Researching hotels in the Oceanside area was tough as most of them were getting poor marks on Yelp. Bed bugs, poorly maintained rooms, horrible plumbing, stained sheets, etc was taking the excitement out of my trip. Thankfully, the Best Western Plus Oceanside Palms came up highly rated. The room was clean, well maintained and the staff was friendly. I'll highly recommend staying here if you need a place to stay overnight in Oceanside. Staff Experience: We had a wedding to attend at 3pm and Angelica was extremely helpful in getting us checked in several hours before the standard 3pm check-in time. She expedited the process by personally inspected the room herself. That was a life saver.

You won't go wrong staying at the Oceanside Palms Best Western hotel. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The fresh cookies offered are the invitation to a pleasant stay. Their breakfast a little bit more than the regular fare of a boiled egg, fruit, bread, waffles and beverages. They offer cheese filled omelets, large sausage, bacon and a pristine kept presentation. The customer service is above the norm. The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping crew are all about serving the guest. Try it out!

We had an excellent stay at this Best Western. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It appeared that the hotel had been recently renovated. Lobby, bedroom, and hallways looked "modern". I has one of the best free breakfasts I have had at hotels of this genre, including scrambled eggs, sausage, burritos. The hotel also had a nice little patio area with a fire pit to sit and relax in the evening. If all Best Westerns were this good, I would stay with them more often.

This hotel was very comfortable. There is no noise from traffic. The staff is very friendly. This hotel is close to the beach so it is pretty humid in the hallways but thankfully the AC in the room was pretty strong. I liked being able to park next to my room and see my car. There is a pool at the rear of the hotel which I didn't try but it looked clean. I was overall very happy with the value of the room for what we paid. Also the free breakfast is better than most other hotels. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This hotel has water views. Is within a short walking distance to the beach. Hotel staff is great hotel is updated with all the plush items for comfort in the room. Jesse and Farah were amazing. Full hot breakfast very sweet staff. Great hotel location and prices. Free parking as well. Amazing hotel close to food and stores. Wil book here again when I go to Oceanside.

I spend a lot of time at Best Western locations some better, far better than others. This stay was uncommonly seemless. Even the breakfast was above par for Best Western. The check in was very smooth and that is a big pet peeve of mine how guests are greeted and handled as a front desk. They did a great job, well young lady at the front desk to the great job.

The staff and manager were very accommodating. The free breakfast (Denver omelette, Hillshire like sausages) were not good, but I do not judge a hotel by "free" breakfast. They do have flaky waffles, cereal, and pastries for those who prefer it. We loved the room setup, TV, window, shower, and being located near the pier… (more on that) Not thrilled about the hard water, lack of freezer space, and my wife didn't like the bed (too hard? ). The location was difficult as well. A beautiful hotel located between a homeless infested Motel 6 and some other low end cop visited hotel. Also hard to access if you're headed North on N. Coast Hwy as the southbound traffic will stop at the light just before Best Western.

Stayed five nights on a family vacation. Staff was amazing and went out of their way to help. Breakfast was great though could have had more healthy fruit options. Rooms were clean and kitchenette was a nice feature for the family. Beds are decent, what you would expect from a hotel bed. Noise of neighboring guests was easy to hear. All in all, a great week.

Very nice staff! Clean and comfy beds. We stayed in a kitchenette and it was nice and spacious! Saw the manager several times walking around to make sure guests were happy and things were good. He was in the breakfast room making sure things were looking good and well stocked… even at 9:30 am when breakfast ended at 10:00! Kudos to the manager. Only thing was the air was being fixed and the lobby and hallways were hot. It was being fixed on the day we checked in. Other than that it was a very good stay!

Clean, and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of options, and best of all, it truly was included. We stayed at another hotel the night before where it said there was breakfast, but it was not included and required purchase. Best Western Plus Oceanside looks newly renovated, so everything was new, and exceeded my expectations for what I thought Best Western would provide. Also, it is a short walk from the pier and beach, so you can park at the hotel and walk without worrying about meters or neighborhood parking.

For the price it was a very good hotel. Updated, clean, very friendly staff, and breakfast was great. Parking was easy and the hotel it self is very close to the beach with several good restaurants nearby. The room is smaller than some of the other best Western plus hotels. You have to upgrade to get the kitchenette which was kind of disappointing because I had three children with me and was looking forward to having the extra space as we were spending three nights there, but overall it was a great stay.

The Best Western Plus had a nice atmosphere, both inside and outside. They have a fire going in the evening so my husband and I enjoyed sitting by the fire. The inside decor was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Our room did have an odor and management tried to take care of it, but putting an atomizer of some sort in the room did not do the trick. So, I just let it go. I would say the breakfast was only okay because I do not like powdered eggs. However, if you like these kind of eggs and sausage, bacon, you will probably think the breakfast is great. The waffle makers were a plus, and there were 3! And the coffee was great. There was unlimited tea and coffee all day, which was terrific! Overall, it was a very good experience.

This Hotel is the best kept secret in Oceanside. Even during construction, the Hotel is relaxing and very comfortable. The Hotel offers one of the best business centers, laundry facilities, and it has top notch amenities. The guestroom pillows were far too soft and lumpy and need replacing (next stay I'd take my own). The breakfast quality didn't satisfy my tastes. The Staff are very accommodating and hospitable. The Hotel provides a number of open spaces to sit quietly to read that are both indoor and outdoors with unique escape nooks. I look forward to staying at this Oceanside location again.

The night we stayed at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Palms, was perfect! The staff was excellent and a pleasure to meet. The room was great and clean! Definitely a place to stay in the area.

Great staff. Nice location. Clean rooms and updated lobby and restaurant, great breakfast spread. At one point the coffee machine wasn't working so the hotel manager went to Starbucks and brought back several boxes of fresh coffee for everyone to enjoy. It's very close to the harbor which has several seafood restaurants, some cool beach shops, a beach front (cheap parking) and the main feature — in front of the Oceanside sign you'll see a family of Sea Lions hanging out at the docks all day everyday.

For the price, I would go to this place again! All staff members were super great! the free breakfast in the mornings and the coffee! I love the coffee here. It was gloomy this past weekend so we didn't go to the pool but everything else was fantastic. I haven't reviewed a hotel with five stars in a long time. Thank you BW.

This place has friendly, helpful staff. Checking in was easy. Checking out was just as easy. The room smelled fresh as did the sheets. I was given a ground floor which I appreciated since I had gear to tow for work. I had a restful sleep. The breakfast was standard fare for Best Western Plus. It was nicely presented. The hot breakfast was hot. I still like making own waffles. The hotel was undergoing renovations, but that didn't bother me. Nice place. I'd stay again.

Best Western Oceanside Palms is such a great place. Location is amazing! Just a 5 min walk to the beach/oceanside pier, lots of places nearby food, cinema, stores, restaurants! Rooms are great, staff is so welcoming. Great hotel!

This hotel is fairly new and up to date. Rooms are excellent size, with a full breakfast and nice eating area. Beds are comfortable and the sofa bed is an added touch for more bed space. Great place to stay.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was very comfortable with 2 chairs to sit. I really liked the reading lamps attached to the bed. It is a luxury to be able to read in bed. Many hotel rooms do not have sitting space or enough light to read. Breakfast was very good. I will come again.

Excellent hotel for the price. Staff were SO helpful. They arranged early breakfast for our team, got me milk for my tea after hours and helped me Print something off in the business center. Couldn't have been more attentive. The hotel isn't luxurious but we weren't expecting it to be. That said it is in excellent condition, well decorated and maintained and very clean everywhere. Equivalent to a Marriott Courtyard but much cheaper. Only 10 min walk to downtown and the beach. Here for a soccer tournament and it met our needs perfectly.

Amazing hotel shittiest General manager old white guy with glasses is a prick said I stole orange juice when I had a room and harrased me pushing himself into my room without reason to search it claiming he smelt marijuana when there was none. Will not be recomending this hotel to anyone ever.

Stay away from this hotel! We paid exorbitant price for a small, outdated room for a soccer tournament. The central lobby area is small and can't be used as a gathering place. The patio and pool are in a parking lot. And the hotel is in a seedy part of town next to a "gentleman's club". The photos make it look a lot better than it is. Will never stay here again and I was only here one night.

Classy place to stay! Awesome motel w/clean rooms, friendly & helpful staff. Great free breakfast too. From the reading room w/lots of computers & a printer for guest to use, to the (2) outdoor sitting area, to the pool & hot tub area that even has 2 barbecue grills for guests to use, this place gets an AAAAA+++++ just a few blocks from the pier, great location. Make reservations well in advance because if you are looking for a 3 or a 4 day stay that includes a weekend, they are booked way out, but for good reason.

We stayed for one night, and we were satisfied. I was worried because there is a train line close but didn't hear a thing. The beds are a little hard, and I like firm beds. Very close to food and night life. The people who work there are very nice.

We stayed here for 5 days and it was awesome! Very clean. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly and told us a good place to take our kids on the beach and asked about our day when we'd return. The breakfast is good and they switch it up always some sort of eggs and breakfast meats, yougurt, bagels muffins and toast and the coffee is great. Lots of restaurants in close distance and in n out right across the street. Has a nice pool and hot tub and bbq area. Took about 10 min to get to Legoland and 45 min to get to the San Diego zoo.

Easy location to get to. Rooms are comfortable. Basic free breakfast. This isn't the Ritz, but it worked just fine.

Do not stay here if you do not want your items stolen by their cleaning staff. You have been warned. The staff are made up of liars and theives. The manager needs to hire more trustworthy house maids. And their front desk workers need to know that the customer is always right. Upon checking out and leaving the hotel room in a rush, the housemaid immediately walked into our room to perform her cleaning services. We then proceeded to leave, and about 20 minutes, later realized that my girlfriend had left her work phone on the table in our room. It was not on the bed. It was not in the towels. It was not in the sheets. It was left on the table, turned on. Before returning to the hotel to ask if it was found, we called the phone several times, but it went straight to voicemail, indicating that the phone was off. Someone had found the phone and deliberately turned the phone off. We returned to the hotel and spoke with two women at the front desk explaining that we had left a phone in our room, ON THE TABLE. They proceeded to tell us that we were wrong and that maybe we had lost it somewhere else, insinuating that we were irresponsible and that we most likely did not leave the phone in the hotel. Granted, we did make the mistake for forgetting the phone, we still knew exactly where we had placed it before we left, we were in a rush. Nobody is perfect, but your employees should not make the customer feel wrong, let alone take advantage of customer's mistakes.

We checked in on 3/17/16 and checked out on 3/23/16. We were out there visiting our son stationed at Camp Pendleton. The staff was very knowledgeable of local attractions and activities. They had many recommendations and where to get tickets for attractions at a discounted rate. And all the staff were very friendly; front desk help, housekeepers, maintenance. We are going back to CA next year and will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

It is a very cosy hotel, clean, attentive staff wonderful, the breakfast very good excellent very comfortable pará rest, and very up to date.

Great pool and spa, nice modern rooms, super comfy beds… We had tons of pillows!

No complaints here. Clean rooms, friendly service, decent hot breakfast. I will definitely stay here again. Really no need to stay anywhere else in Oceanside.

Lovely hotel, super clean, great staff, and tasty breakfast (if you're up in time). It's not a bad price, either, and it's within walking distance of the beach. The Wi-Fi is fast, and my room had a soaking tub that was super nice.

Stopped at most of the hotels in the area and looked at their rooms, and this was by far the best and happened to be one of the least expensive. Most of the others had a pretty bad smell too. Breakfast was good as well.

All very good, except for disposable tableware for breakfast — you've got to be kidding (at this price). Conveniently located for the beach, and very clean and friendly.

The staff was very nice! The internet didn't work in our room and that caused some issues for us. I am sure that will addressed in the future. The breakfast could have been better. They don't have many options and I actually ended up stocking the coffee cups because they ran out and the staff looked overwhelmed. I did give the Hotel 5 stars for a good reason though. The rooms are awesome! The staff is willing to do whatever they can to make you happy. I moved from this Hotel to Island Hotel in Newport Beach (I had a business conference). I would have rather stayed at Oceanside Palms over the Island Hotel, which by the way is a 500 a night, just based on the exceptional service the staff gave my family. I blame the negative parts on management. I work for a large financial industry and know when its based on bad management. Obliviously they have a awesome trainer and truly know how to hire a great staff. For the Management, you need to work on scheduling better and should never put your staff in uncomfortable position of having to be apologetic.

I've stayed in this Motel 6 many times due to working often in the area. Service is exceptionally good, the rooms are among the nicest in the Motel 6 chain, and its a great location for walking around town or to the beach.

Never again. Too expensive for the lack of accommodations. The bath towels almost seem better suited for hands and they only leave you 2 even when you say 4 will be staying. You have to ask for normal hotel common courtesy like shampoo and conditionrgot stuck in the elevator for about 3 minutes with 6 other people. I pushed the call for help button and it took us back to the floor we were just on, eventually. When I told the people at the front desk they dismissed it as if it hadn't happened. I checked the license type of document all elevators have and it expired 2 years ago. With no complimentary breakfast, rude people at the front counter and the other crap accommodations I'll be staying elsewhere next time.
