Tried to stay at this hotel 7/18 and boy was it a nightmare. Had my two year old son and his grandmother with me. When we arrived we waited in the office 15 min to check in. When we finally get the keys to the room the doors unlocked and wide open. After one look you know it’s going to be bad. As you step on the linoleum is a foot raised from the floor and gives as you step on it. We get settled and it’s starting to get really hot in the room well the A/C doesn’t work and the baby is starting to turn red from the heat. So I walk over to the office and wait another 10 minutes and ask to switch rooms because the baby is red and starting to sweat. I’m told no I can’t so I’m left with no other option but to leave I turn the keys in and ask for a refund and the manager just says no because we used the room for two hours. It’s been hot in Cali and I never asked for anything unreasonable. TLDR Please don’t stay at this hotel especially if you have young children it is unsafe. When asking the manager to help us we were offered no assistance. You couldn’t pay me to stay here.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! They tried to give us a room with a bed that squeaked so bad I have no idea how someone could sleep on it and there was dirty towels stuffed into a corner then they “upgraded” us to the suite that had spiders and a nasty hair tie that was left by who knows who. The rooms have NO air conditioning, their TVs are the size of a computer monitor, the rooms were stinky and extremely unsecure, the walls were destroyed with scratches and holes with attempted patch jobs everywhere. Seemed like a good crash pad for druggies. Not worth spending your money on. Keep away at all costs!

Dirty hotel, horrible customer service. Cancelled our reservation booked at Expedia and wanted to charge us a regular price as we arrived. Dirty sheets and no blanket on the bed. Very unpleasant experience and will never come back again.

Where do I start! I could tell the floor had not been swept. Nor had the nightstands been wiped clean and there was no room-phone. There was black mold in the bathroom by the toilet, and in the shower. The picture of the washcloth is only some of the mold taken off of the shower walls. I honestly don't even want to give them 1 star. The WORST hotel/motel I have ever stayed at.

This is the dingiest and scariest motel I have ever stayed in. I should have slept in my car at a Walmart parking lot! I didn't sleep the whole night. The mattresses were badly stained and the clients staying here are of a shady variety. I would not stay here even as a last resort and definitely not with children. I think the motel must be posting positive reviews because unless you are blind you would not rate this motel with any positive reviews! Not even a one star hotel. Dirty, dingy, and noisy. Take out a loan and stay elsewhere!

Dont stay here! They have two wings — the older of which is positively unsanitary. The favorable reviews here may be for the other wing but you have no control over which wing they will place you in. Checked in late (long trip) and was told only one room was available. It was awful! For $5 a night more there are far better hotels in Oceanside.

DO NOT STAY HERE… MY FRIEND IS A Diabetic SO NATURALLY WE HAVE INSULIN SYRINGES WITH AN APPROPRIATE PRESCRIPTION… WE LEFT AND WHEN WE GOT BACK OUR CARD KEY DIDNT WORK SO WE WENT INTO THE MAIN OFFICE TO ASK FOR A NEW CARD Key and the little Mexican lady in the front that runs the place the one was a little girl told us to get off the property immediately that we wouldn't be getting a refund and that she called the police. We then further inquired about our belongings and she told us they were thrown out but when we went in the trash can they weren't there… So assuming she stole all of our belongings. Worst place to stay dirty disgusting drug deals going on left and right would not recommend this place to anybody unless you want all your belongings stolen from you by staff! Reporting them to the BBB IMMEDIATELY.

As small as it looks this place has CLEAN rooms. The new rooms by office are so spacious, comfortable beds free water fridge and micro U gotta ask the front desk for ice I was amazed I didnt see any insects. They had clean bedding. I had a good sleep.

Ok, so first off the staff is great! I was really impressed by the friendliness and concern of how my stay was. I was an extended stay (3weeks), and wish that I didnt have to leave. I miss the place and people and hope I can visit again soon.

Room was really clean and we'll kept for such accomadable prices. When checking in, the person at the front desk asked if I expected visitors and I said no and also mentioned that I didn't have a vehicle. Based on body language as the employee nodded, I got the impression he was letting me know he liked my answer, but wasn't necessarily convinced and I should expect the typical scrutiny that's common with the harbor area budget lodging. However, when my night unfolded in a different direction and I made late night / early morning plans for a few friends to stop by and had no issues or complaints from staff.

Worst hotel service EVER! It started when I arrived at the hotel Friday at 3:30pm to check in. Me and my guest entered our room and it had not been cleaned yet. I called the front desk and she said she would send a maid over. A made came who wasn't exactly pleasant or remotely apologetic. She told me and my friend to get out of the room for 15 minutes and she would clean it. Me and my friend sat in the car while she did the room. Around 12 noon the next day I called the office asking for some towels, the lady at the front desk said she would have the maid drop some off… 3 hours go by and NO towels. In that time period my guest seen a maid outside and asked her for towels and the maid told her to go drop off our towels at laundry… My friend gathered our towels and brought them to the laundry room… No maid came… I called back to the office at 3 pm and a different gentleman answered the phone and I told him the situation and he offered no apology whatsoever and said he'd have the maid drop some off. After an hour went by I went outside as a maid was walking by with towels, I asked her if I could get some for my room and she ignored me… I called out to her again and she doesn't even look at me, she just responds "call front desk" I told her I already did! And she continued walking away. I called back to the front desk and the man once again offers no apologies and says give him about 10 minutes… I told him "I've gave you over 4 hours!

Rooms were better than expected, the TV was tiny (like laptop sized).

It's a budget hotel. Not many frills. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cheap, clean, close to the beach and wonderful staff. What more could I ask?

The GM of the property has been very nice and accommodating. The housekeepers are always friendly and smiling. My son loves them. Been here for two weeks, no problems. Different styles of rooms to choose from. Very close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores near by. Some shady characters outside here and there but mind your own business, no problem. Quiet place overall.

Stay away from this place! Room was filthy, had holes in walls and a terrible smell from bug desinfection spray. Also very strange people around who are talking weird stuff. As I complaint at the front desk all the manager said was it's a standard room nothing fancy. I know I didn't book the Hilton but this place is a mess. I came back and asked for my money back as I checked out right away. The guy at front desk was very rude pretending the manager wasn't there and let me wait for 45 minutes. After I asked again he had her on the phone saying I won't get back my money plus they didn't care at all if I write a bad review and upload pictures of their rooms. He also shut the window while I was talking to him. I must say very "costumer friendly". And then you have to pay $50 for this…

The worst review I've done is here. Shower was cold and the nozzle looks like it should have been replaced in 1999. No towel racks, or place to hang or store clothes in sight. Wi-Fi was so bad the only time I was online was during check-in at the office. If all you want is a bed for a few hours it's ok, other than that go elsewhere, fast!

Fun spot… everybody party till morning hours… owners are nice! And as for the people bitching about the smaller rooms…? Pay an extra $10 and REQUEST THE room that's about 3x bigger… not very complicated… the small rooms are a bit of a joke. It reminded me of those motels we used to go get for a night When I was in High School. Drink&smoke & whatever. Because those tiny rooms would only be cool with a 9-10 grade kid… but 2 end on a high note. Owners are good people…

Very reasonable price for the area, staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were large for the cost they charge, but don't expect luxury for the money you are paying.

There was no door on the bathroom… They made sure I was aware I only got a bed and a fan and that towels, yes towels were extra. There was a sheet and 2 very flat pillows on the bed. There was a hole in the floor…

It was almost impossible to walk past the bed to get to the bathroom and would be impossible if I had any sort of disability. The smoke detector also did not have a battery in it and the toilet wouldn't hold water to be able to flush properly. The Wi-Fi also was very spotty making it difficult to finish any work.

Bed was clean, but the walls and doors could use a TouchUp. The staff was also nice.

Don't go here, I booked it through booking. Com, when I checked in I told her I was alone and she gave me a room in the back of the place and let me tell you it was a very uncomfortable place. The man in the room next to me keep peering out of his door, when I opened my room door it wasn't anything like they showed on the website, very dim, smelly and no air. I went back to office and handed my key back and said I can't stay there. I called booking, com back and told them, they contacted the inn and got all charges refunded. Also FYI booking. Com said they don't have control over who lists with them so be careful when booking online.

The sheets felt unclean, had to try to turn on three different lights cause the first one only had one out of the three lightbulbs that worked and the second lamp had no bulb at all, the air was stuffy and smelt of smoke although we reserved a nonsmoking room, and the fan had a thick ttc layer of dirt/dust. This was a "standard" room that we didnt even stay in because of the filth and possibilities of getting sick, we asked for a refund and got shown a "delux" room which is $20 more. At this point we just wanted to get the heck out of there, so we had to write a hand written note as to why we wanted a refund and wait for a call from the manager in the morning. Really sketchy place and area. Would not recommend.

This place has really turned itself around. All the rooms look great updated. The beds are very comfortable. The two brothers who have taken over are really nice and professional. This hotel is very clean all the time. The maids are really hard workers. All the staff are wonderful. I would recommend giving them a visit. The rooms are spacious and you can. T beat the price. Oceanside is a beautiful city and this motel is a great addition to it. I love what you have done to clean up the place.

Checked in. Fridge not working. Phone not working. Bathroom light not working. Short on towels. Dog barking next door. Filthy people coming and going. HORRIBLE place, DANGEROUS, FILTHY, run from this place.

Filthy place. Nothing was cleaned and nothing was comfortable. Lots of people coming and going that seem like drug dealers.

This place is disgusting. If you want to feel like youre going to the drunk tank for a night that or a crack house. This would be the place for you. Dont go there ever.

This place is disgusting and they are not good people. I checked out and I had 10 minutes left with still some things to get out. They told me if I passed 11AM by 5 seconds they would charge me for another day. There was nicotine all over the ceilings and the carpet was disgusting. When walking dust would come up. I moved the bed and you could tell that they haven't vacuumed or even looked under the bed because there was past residents things left behind. I left my $150 poster and they just ripped it off the wall and threw it away as they say. No respect for their tenets and I would recommend NO ONE TO EVER go there. Im reporting this to the health department as well to get these people shut down because it is repulsive.
