This place has really gone down hill. The future is old and out dated. Pullout couch was a joke. It was so hard to take out and put back that I ended up just taking the mattress out and sleeping on the floor. The buildings all show signs of neglect. Rotted wood. Distressed paint. They put my handicap father in a unit where he had to go down two steep flights of stairs. With a bad back, hip and knee that is no good. They put us in a unit that fire code says no more than 4 and there was 6 of us. The pool was nice but not heated as advertised. The jacuzzi took forever to turn on and only one side of jets worked. The staff however was really friendly and informative. Going forward my family has decided to stay elsewhere.

We had a lovely time! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were amazed at how quiet it was and the condo was huge to us. It was so relaxing to be at the indoor pool and not worry about getting too much sun. We enjoyed having an outdoor balcony with table and chairs and a cool breeze. Almost wished it was cold so we could use the beautiful fireplace inside. The buildings are older but it's a wonderful place to rest and play. We hope to come back someday in the future,!

Great location and quiet. Fun for families with all the loaner games and the indoor pool. A bit dated but clean and pleasant.

Beautiful forest view from our studio balcony, clean and spacious room with a fireplace (switch on), friendly staff, DVD player (bring your own movies), indoor swimming pool, and tennis courts. Condo was easy to find once on the property, but be aware that as you are on North Bay Road it can be a little difficult to see the sign on the left as you curve going down the road. "Lake Arrowhead" is more prominent at the top of the sign, and North Bay is at the middle in white.

Thought it'd be better based on all the reviews, but I was unimpressed and disappointed. The staff was average, couldn't reach the front desk by phone, the "hot " tub wasn't hot, the pool heater was broken, the lobby wasn't open before 9 am and I wake up at 6 30. The noise level wasn't great as I could hear the neighbors stomping around and talking loudly at 1 am while I'm trying to sleep. The carpet was disgusting, the decor was extremely outdated, the couch was hard and uncomfortable, they charge for absolutely everything, you can't change the thermostat and you have to clean and do dishes and I'm sorry but if I wanted to do that I'd stay at home; I go to a hotel for certain conveniences. Also the only way to get to the rooms is down a steep set of stairs so luckily I am capable of doing so because a heads up would've been nice. Toiletries also below average, but hey there was plenty of hot water and space to move around.

I've got to say we really enjoyed NorthBay at Lake Arrowhead. They have the amenities needed plus a beautiful indoor pool and spa. The only complaint is the couches were hard as rocks LOL but we just used pillows to buffer them. Staff is very nice and there are plenty of lovely tall pine trees to enjoy.

Amazing place to stay, can't wait to go back. Staff is amazing along with the perfect location. Office closes at 9 so make sure to make reservation before 9 if u plan on last minute stay.

Spent 2 days with the family and we all loved it. There is no restaurant here or any food but you can go to the village. I loved that there was a pool.

Although it's cute and cozy, there are a lot of improvements to be made. The furniture is worn out, the sofa/bed is in sad shape. Bathroom sinks need to be replaced and the shower handle comes off. The bathroom panel/pocket door is very difficult to open or close, so we just keep it closed and walk around to the other doors. The bedding should be upgraded. The outside of the buildings need a lot of TLC.

A little dated but a great little Community! Very friendly! A lot of amenities for families (tennis, ping pong, pool table, basketball)! The one bedroom was a good floor plan and they pretty much have everything you're going to need for your stay in the room (dishes, silverware, appliances, etc). They have daily activities in the clubhouse such as bingo and Craft Time if you're there with your kids slash grandkids. They even have a where's Waldo type game so the kids will get a prize if they find the bear that is on the property.

The rooms were located down a double staircase. The interior was pretty sparse and outdated. Other than those things we enjoyed ouselves.

This place is highly recommended. Dont know if its my luck or maybe every room is like this, but my family and I loved it. The studio we booked was amazing size and it had everything to get us through the week. Mini fridge, electric cookware, coffee maker, micro, small sink… listen, we werr here with a 4yo and a 1yo, and this was a great experience. Everything was clean and well maintained. Everyone was attentive and helpful.

This is a great place to stay by far our favorite, our 1 bedroom 2 bath, full kitchen and dining room was very spacious and comfortable. I love that there is an indoor pool, tennis courts and sauna. So plenty of activities to keep busy. Only minutes away from Lake arrowhead.

Weather staying for a week as an owner or just staying a few nights as a guest NorthBay at Lake Arrowhead is a great place to visit in mountains. The property is located just a couple miles outside the quaint town of Blue Jay where you can find a full grocery store, restaurants, and other shops to browse. A short drive around the lake takes you to the Lake Arrowhead Village where there are outlets stores and other interesting shopping opportunities. The Lake Arrowhead area offers a great variety of food and entertainment opportunities including a movie theater, mountain biking, hiking, 4x4 ring comma skiing and snowboarding, and lots to photograph. If you plan on visiting between late June and early September make your reservations far in advance as the mountain will often sell completely out. Several events were planning your trip around are the Art and Wine Festival during summer and the Lake Arrowhead Brewfest in August.

Northbay was a lovely place to stay the night. Since I went in winter, it was almost as if I was the only one taking advantage of the pool and spa. That being said, our hot water in the shower lasted less than ten minutes. There is no food offered at Northbay so you would have to make your way into town.

Nice and relaxing! Indoor pool and jacuzzi are great! Could use a few updates in furniture and appliances in the rooms, though. Also, needs a stronger Wi-Fi signal, especially in the rooms. Could use updated equipment in workout room, too!

My 1 star is solely based on our experience. We got a Groupon for this place and we're excited to spend the weekend here. We were given a room that was "just cleaned". Well this was the problem. Apparently the rooms are cleaned with radioactive waste because the odors were so strong we had to leave after being in the room for less than 20 minutes. They didn't have another room in the entire massive complex to accommodate us and thus we were forced to leave the property as we couldn't not sleep in a room that literally made our eyes water and breathing difficult. Did I mentioned my son is 3 months old? Either way, it looks like it's our loss, their gain. Groupon clearly says they don't refund after we checked in. And we can't see the room until we check in, so we got roialy screwed didn't we?

The room was great for the price! Loved the fact that it had it's own kitchenette and balcony. The community center had board games and a pool table, and although all was nice and fun, they could use some updating. The pool table had many damages and the games were over used. Why am I stressing about those? Because at night there isn't much to do in Lake Arrowhead other than stay in your room, so entertainment items should be kept in good condition. The other negative was that the hotel was not a walking distance to any of the beaches, or hiking trails. Ugh and the horribly noise neighbors were annoying.
