I love how friendly the staff is, they make sure you are comfortable.

Room was not clean. Bathroom has something growing in the corners. Found empty vodka bottle along with syringe caps.

For starters I requested a first level floor becuz my husband has a bad leg, yet we got a 3rd floor soom. Was supposed to be non smoking but smelled of cigs. Lastly there was peopl hanging out outside of the rooms. If you can stay somewhere else you should.

Nice breakfast too, room had a nice TV.

Got checked in with no problems. Staff is great & extremely helpful. Second time staying here & I will always stay here when I come to Roseville!

Kicker was finding a cockroach in our room early in the morning.
Front desk reaction was casual and when asked if they’ve had this problem before… she was like yeah, but it’s been awhile! Really!? We won’t be back to this location.

Where do I start with this horrible hotel? 1. The elevators are broken, the “secure” doors are broken
2. My daughter was swimming in their pool and sliced open her arm and when we asked for a bandaid, the “concierge” was so incredibly rude and had no empathy for my 9 year old bleeding child. They acted as if we were inconveniencing their “tea” time. The heavy set white lady was horrible. She has no personality and was rude.
3. I checked in on Thursday and they charged my debit card $294.93, then. Upon check out, they charged me AGAIN! Now my account is overdrawn and I have almost 600.00 in charges from this hotel! 4. When calling the “concierge” I was on hold for 15min! they told me this Is their process, I guess to freeze up an account double charging people, mind you — when I checked in, I specifically ask “do you need a major credit card” as I was trying to avoid the extra debit card fees that some hotels. I will never ever stay at this hotel nor recommend it! This hotel is GARBAGE.

The front desk lady is rude! She would rather let unsupervised teenage boys run up and down the hallways and throw footballs, then keep a guest in a room.
It felt like a train was going through our room, every time that they chased the ball.
The front desk person yelled at us that she doesn’t care!
I know management won’t care.

Yolanda and Carol are the most amazing people. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Night shift front desk, maintenence and security are all very kind and helpful as well. They have been absolutely amazing through the whole visit! The staff is extremely helpful and genuinely cares. Clean, comfortable, roomy. All around, a great stay!

This is a warm and wonderful motel experience. Along with the great amenities, it’s the staff that has made my family stay happy. The front morning staff of Carol and Yolanda is why we keep coming back! They have helped us feel like their family and that’s to be commended in this day when travelers are just room numbers. Very friendly and helpful! Through out the summer of 2018 we had obligations that required us to stay in this area. After meeting Carol and Yolanda at our first stay, there was no other thought of staying anywhere else!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and spacious. I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. It was delicious and prepared with care. I wish I had seen the oatmeal bar because it was apart from the waffles and other hot foods. The staff was also friendly and accommodating.

Disgusting. If I could give no stars I would Looks can be deceiving on this one. Yes the price is great — But if you want to sleep with cock roaches go for it! My family were not even there for 5 minutes after a long 51/2 hour drive with a grumpy child who just wants to sleep. The last thing we needed was a roach at 2 in the morning and having to find a different hotel in an unfamiliar place. One positive thing I can say is the staff did offer a refund as soon as we called about it to the front desk. NO Stars. and where the fuck were my homemade cookies ah?

Enjoying our stay here. Lisa and Kristen at the front desk are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and there is a good selection. There is a pool jacuzzi, gym and laundry room. The room is a decent size and clean. My husband would like a better bed that isn't so hard on his back. But other than that. We like that there is a sofa in the room, fridge and microwave. The location is very convenient. Close to the grocery store, target, walmart and places to eat.

We were there for a high school basketball tournament for our granddaughter. The room was nice as it had a separate wall between the beds however not much room for luggage (since there were 3 of us) and little space to move around. The breakfast is always a nice variety and healthy choices as well. The staff was very nice and helped us a few times with items we needed. It was convenient to where we were going each day and in a nice area with stores around.

Was pleasantly surprised to find this a gem of a hotel! I especially loved the split room, with the bathroom in the middle. My daughter had to go to bed for an early game the next morning and I was able to stay up later and not bother her. The extra amenities: cookies, happy hour, bedside mints, yummy breakfast all made our stay that much better. Was concerned that it would be loud at night since our room faced the pool, but everyone was respectful of quiet hours. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location. Close to the freeway and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was over the top and the ladies filling it and cleaning tables were spot on. I would definitely stay here again.

If I could make this a ZERO I would. They violate the 1st rule of a hotel. It is NOISY! I could not sleep! The walls are thin and you can hear everything next door. I could almost decipher the conversations. The A/C was very loud as well. But better than the noisy neighbor. (Classic crying, screaming child and barking dogs). To hear the TV you also have to turn that up loud. Safety issues: The door to the outside would not latch, the sprinkler system has something covering it. I spent around $150 to be miserable and not rested. I got out of there as fast as I could. I do not recommend this hotel or Best Western plus at all. Btw, the manager was conveniently not available at check out.

The rooms are very very nice, clean and well decorated. The pool is small but has plenty of seating and well lit. Staff is friendly and attentive. Building is clean, and is very nice. Enjoyed my visit and was very impressed. Would recommend to others for sure.

If you come expecting a solid, clean place to stay with basic amenities, I think you will really appreciate this place. This isn't pretending to be a high-end hotel, but just friendly and well-maintained. Bonus points for the group booking team who got us a great rate and an easy transaction.

Accommodations were nice but something needs to be done about the staffs attitude. We experienced issues and another guest side they did also when their key wouldn't work.

This is a very nice Best Western. The rooms are very clean. The only thing wrong is I told the front desk that I was disabled and would need help he just kinda acted like he didn't care. But I just got my stuff on a cart and pushed to the elevators. But I will probably go back when I need to get out of the house.

Stayed up at this best western for an entire week for work. I honestly have to say I never ran into one unhelpful staff member. Carol especially helped and deserves a special mention. I recommend staying in the back of the motel as the front seemed a bit more for people not here working. The lounge was great. Two free beers a night, darts, and tv’s what more do you need for a work stay!?!

Personally, I don't like doors that open to the outside and the door didn't seem to shut solidly but it was fine with all the locks. Overall a good experience and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I think I could have gotten a comparable room elsewhere at a cheaper chain for less, but it was only one night and our stay was fine;

This review is based on a 1-night stay here. I was visiting from the Bay Area (San Ramon) for a night for a job interview in Roseville with the Union Pacific Railroad early the next morning. Room was decently priced and very clean and the staff at the Check-In/Check-Out desk were super friendly and helpful. Had a light breakfast the next morning as I was a bit nervous about my interview, but there was a nice selection of breakfast items to choose from. The best thing was that it was right next door to the Hampton Hotel where my interview was, so I didn't have to dash out the door to get there on time. My only regret was that I didn't bring a swimsuit to enjoy the hot tub in the evening. Maybe next time.

I really want to give this hotel 5 stars, but the one thing stopping me is that the washer and dryer situation is just terrible. The wife and I stay here a lot and almost every time, the washer is out of service. Just found out today that the hotel doesn't own them. Its a 3rd party that maintains them. Come on best western you guys are better than this. The staff, breakfast, cleaning service and all else I give 5 stars.

Fiancé and I stayed there last night for my st Patty day bday after dinner and drinks at Thunder Valley. I have to say I was very impressed with our room and the accommodations. The front desk guy was super cool we couldn’t find a place to park as they were so packed, he actually moved his car so we could park in his spot. Our room was great especially for the price. Great breakfast, it was clean also the girls working the breakfast were on top of. They earned my tip and kept everything full. I would definitely stay here again in the same room if at all possible… and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Last time we stayed in Lincoln Holiday Inn way more money and not as accommodating, with a mediocre breakfast.

This is a very nice hotel. It has almost everything. Most places that include breakfast don't have ready hot eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy, ect. This one has a good breakfast included. The room I stayed in had a comfortable bed, couch, refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV, coffee maker, blow dryer, and bonus was the magnified mirror as I need to put on makeup, free internet, and very clean. I would have took a swim but the pool is not heated. The only issue is so-pose to be non-smoking but the hallways where pretty smoky when I was going through them. I would recommend this place.

Room was clean & functional — enough electrical outlets. Wi-Fi was reasonably fast. Greatest thing was business center — — free computer & printer — I had a 72-page report I needed scanned & I had to email at 10:30 pm. Kristen, the night desk host scanned it — — it took 3 tries b/c it was so large — never complained — and enabled me to get it sent out — — GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE here!

The room next to us was extremely noisy all night. This is an older property so the walls and floors transfer noise. Made calls to the front desk. Problem was not solved. No offer of a different room. Front desk told me when we checked out that there were rooms available to move too. Too late for that, though. Furniture had drawers that would not stay closed. Since the room was narrow we had to walk past the drawers by pushing them closed and holding them in until we were past them. We booked another hotel with the same star rating for the rest of our stay in Rosedale which was exceptional for the rating range. They would not give us a refund even though we only slept for 2 hours. Staff was courteous about the situation but had to abide by the corporate rules.

Great value and location. Breakfast was pretty good. They had lots of options. Staff was very cordial and on the ball. I'd stay there again.

We have been here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. This is a great hotel for what it is. It is not luxury, so if you are used to that, you will be disappointed. But it has a great free daily breakfast and free daily drink tickets for each person staying in the little bar area in the middle of the hotel. It has free parking and the Wi-Fi has decent speeds. The staff has always been pleasant. This is my 3rd stay here and my husband has come several times. We have tried other hotels in the area, but keep coming back to this one when we visit the Sacramento area.

Everything as great. All the employees were very nice and professional. Free room using our points. Bonus! Wonderful breakfast. Nice clean room. We will stay there next time we are up this way for business.

It's all good just would of perferd to have a first floor but that's on me I didn't ask. Great breakfast and comfy beds. Easy access to freeway and any needs within walking distance. Here for my job but if I ever come back I'll stay here for sure safe and clean.

If you are in town for work or pleasure Id highly recommend this hotel. They have a shuttle that takes you to local restaurant in the area. They also provide a decent free breakfast in the morning. The have a lounge on site with an awesome employee by the name of Carmen. She’s very friendly and make sure you go see her, oh yeah did I mention they offer two complimentary drinks :) that alone will bring be back. Great service, great location and a couple free drinks, What else could one ask for. Thanks Best Western.

My boyfriend and I had to stay here until our house was ready to move into. We have never been so stressed. At check in, Carol was so kind and genuine. I explained our situation and she made sure to get us the best room to relax in. Jets in the bathtub, free Wi-Fi, living area and 2 TV's, free buffet breakfast and free drinks every night. Everything was clean and well provided. Even at check out, Carol was so excited that our home was ready to move into. She really made our experience fantastic. I will never stay at any other hotel. Thank you Carol!

Got a room last week kinda of a date night sleep over got the whirlpool suite, it was AMAZING. Walked in and the room smelled very clean the tub, shower, towels EVERYTHING was clean to a T it was quiet and pleasent. The pillow top bed what more can I say. Will definitely stay again and the price was very reseasonable especially for the room we had. Staff was nice checking in and out. Very very pleased Thank you.

I really like the Best Western Plus in Roseville. It is very affordable. The staff is great. Breakfast is the best. It is clean and well kept. I will definitely choose this Best Western again. Wish I could find other Best Westerns like this one.

A decent stay for my family. Staff is friendly and the breakfast was a great way for us to start our day. Any issues we had the staff took care of in a reasonable amount of time. Beds were actually pretty comfy too.

Was decent enough. Clean and friendly staff and good rates. Didn't use the pool and the lounge was late opening (not sure if it did, we went to outback) but got laundry do e and was close to eating, Douglas and 80

Dated hotel. Bathroom and linen shows signs of age. Mattresses have a bit of a sag to them. Rooms are stuffy. The window ac unit is on one side of a rather lengthy room, so air circulation is not great. Be first to the morning shower. Water heat and pressure fluctuated greatly. If you are looking at just having a place to lay your head for the night, ok. If you are used to other newer Best Westerns, you will be disappointed.

We love it here. We ran into a problem with our housing situation, so we checked in here and ended up being here for almost a month! They were so nice and extremely helpful! The staff was very accommodating, I would definitely recommend them!

Love this best western. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. Yolanda went out of her way to make our stay delightful and pleasant. The place was packed with families. But it was OK because everybody was under control. We love the lounge and the deck. We miss the large oak tree that fell last year due to all the rain. We always stay here when we come for a conference or if we're traveling to and from the bay area.

The Best western orchid hotel is ideally situated for all your needs in terms of eating out, shopping and site seeing. We did a day trip to San Francisco which is less than 2 hours drive away. The selection of franchise and independent restaurants are numerous. The hotel is situated close to the freeway for ease of access to a all routes. The hotel staff were very good and helpful and the breakfast had a large variety for all. Overall a great place to stay.

I was a little disappointed to see the outside of the rooms looking a little old, but the rooms are actually very nice. We got a non-smoking room and it was really a non-smoking one, no smell of any kind. Breakfast is good. I would definitely consider coming back. I saw dogs, so it seems to be pet friendly.

Despite being near a freeway the room was very quiet. Reason for only four stars was that I didn't get up early enough to try the breakfast so I couldn't give a complete review. Room was clean and well kept and staff was friendly. We'll definitely stay here again if in the area.

My wife and I loved our experience. We liked how the room had a little living room area apart from the bedroom. The hotel was clean and nice. Parking was free and convenient. We were given free beers, and the staff was friendly and professional. There were also restaurants close by that we walked to. We look forward to the next time we can stay at the Best Western Plus Orchid Hotel & Suites.

It's nice the employees are great Carol is there best employee. Manager Lindsey, and asst. James are the rudest most unprofessional people I ever came across in management. James harassed my mother and I, constantly my mother is 77 about my brother who is challenged, who has Aspbeger. I am still trying to get money back that I was over charged for. The general Manager Lindsey, made us leave after we had reservations, to give our rooms to other guest after they inflated the rates. Lindsey also priced gauged flood victims in February 2017, when they had to evacuated their home charged them 3 times the normal rate. I was also double charged several times, still waiting for a refund.

Excellent service, food for breakfast was so good. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the design of the rooms. I did not like the fact the bathroom was not separate from the vanity/sink/coffee pot. Also, on weekends the pool, hot tub, and lounge should have longer hours. Oh and the jets in the hot tub were not working. I would return though.

My sons and I have to stay here for 1 month until our lease apartment is ready for us to occupy. From the first day, and now. We have enjoyed staying here. All the staff is accommodating to our needs, and our room is clean too. From Yolanda to Terrence to Rich, and others, who have seen to it that we don't have to change rooms or get bumped out of our room, even when the rooms are getting fully booked out. Has been most settling for us all. I signed up at another Best Western Hotel in Bellingham WA to be a Best Western Rewards customer, and will again in the future only stay at this hotel or others like it.

I have been staying here regularly since my dad has been hospitalized. Great accommodations and Yolanda at the front desk has been totally accommodating! Thanks to all for being so kind throughout this time. It's appreciated.

I am planning a return trip to the Roseville area and decided to read the reviews of my favorite hotel. Imagine my surprise to read such negative experiences for the Orchid Suites, which was the name BEFORE it became a Best Western. My last stay was as the transition was taking place. The breakfast was sad but the breakfast room was being remodeled. My room was great but the staff was inexperienced. NOT rude. It seems to have gone down hill. Very sad. Over the past 7+ years I have stayed at this establishment with wonderful reviews. The prices went up and the quality went down. : — (Does not say much for Best Western establishments and the management. Maybe you need to check YOUR business plan.

The only reason why I say I hated this place is because of Katie Freestone, who works night shifts at the front desk. I think this is absolutely unacceptable to abuse alcohol while you are working. I am sorry to report this, but I could even smell alcohol from Katie even though she was not that close to me when I walked towards the front desk. Best Western is a civilized place where all the workers are nice and sober. If it was not Katie, I would give four and a half stars, but a drunk Katie can mess up the charges and cause damage to both guests and the business. Please take this into consideration and don't put drunk employees out to the front desk.

Ended up with a smoking room. It was awful. Even booking 1 month in advance. Priceline rated it 2.5 stars I would rate it 1.5.

The staff is awesome nice pool, beautiful oak tree with deck, the hot breakfast kept running out of stuff needs to be set up better, one of the other guest sole our keys and the staff kinda worked with us, the rooms where ok not what I expected for the price. I was charged for the room then 4 days later it was put back, then out was taken back off later that night wich put me a little over after I got gas that day, that really pissed me off.

Great location right off the freeway. Agent checking us in had no clue what she was doing. We called ahead the day before and I let her know that there would be 3 of us staying. My wife, teenage son in a wheelchair and myself. She FINALLY checked us in to a room all the way in the back of the complex. When we unloaded everything including our handicap son we went into a room that was super hot and only had one bed. Yes 1 bed for 3 people. Not even a couch or a pull out. The front desk took there time to find us a new room but managed to put us by the pool. This room was larger than the first but not so clean. You can see the the house keepers just fly through without cleaning it daily. The noise from kids in the pool screaming was off the hook loud, the barking dogs scratching at the door at 6 AM was no fun either, the house keepers talking really loud to one another outside as well was disturbing. We tried the breakfast that was included with the stay and the potatoes where 3/4 of the way raw, scrambled eggs where good, pancake machine was always not working and when I tried it the stuff that came out looked it it had been caked in there for weeks. Since we knew the house keepers didnt do a good job anyway we just asked them for clean towels. Our 3rd day in we called and asked for clean towels and no one showed. At 8 PM I called back asking about the towels. It was an oops on there part and a maintence guy came with 2 towels.
