Quite honestly I had previously stayed at this hotel back in 2014-2015 paying out of pocket I was homeless the service was great no issues Now I been homeless since 9/6/17 which I was glad to book my stay here with my family no issues but due to my bank putting a hold on my funds I found myself on a very difficult situation I was basically unable to access my funds which means no $ so how can I pay for the hotel well I am very aware of checkout time but unfortunately due to sudden move. We still had uhaul to unload at storage so on 9/7/2017 we headed out early to drop of our kids at school then storage lost track of time and realized I had to get back to pay for the day so I called my card and then I found myself in a very difficult situation unable to access my funds then I called the hotel and spoke with Pamela Vangerich Business Manager via phone I had to pick my child at school so I explained my situation and made her aware I would be there she explained policy and procedure and told me " IF YOU ARE NOT HERE BY 1:00PM AND WE HAVE TO TAKE YOUR THINGS OUT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RENT FROM US" I said no worries so I arrived at the hotel 12:57pm and went to the front desk attempted to pay for the night$77.00 but my card was declined I then told her " can I pay cash $40.00and I can drive to my bank to access my funds front desk girl said " you talk to Pamela and she said 1:00pm sorry, so I said OK let me get my things then so we went to the room and started packing up we notified Housekeeper and maintenance man we would be out they were busy cleaning another room they just said no problem mind you it's about 105 degrees outside and I had my kid so I was in the room with them I started putting my bags out as I called my bank to see my options once I cleared out I waiting in the parking lot for a bit I didn't know what to do or where to go so as I waited for my bank to call me back I sat in the parking lot then left to get $ from bank. Well to my unfortunate situation Ms Pamela decided to Flag Me and Say DO NOT RENT so on 9/11/2017 o had my reservations went to check in and I am told by a RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, RACIST FRONT DESK Meanna that she could not rent me until I talk to Pamela I asked " why? What happened? She stated" Pamela pit in your account Do not Rent until I speak to her, so I was upset I didn't know what happened and she denied Service to me, left me without a place for my kids although I prepaid online she said " Pamela is off today so you have to call her tomorrow I can't rent to you" I asked is there someone else I can talk to I need a place to stay so she handed me her Business card and ignored me I walked out and could not believe the ATTITUDE, RACIST of this girl. I called 9/12/2017 spoke with Pamela BM and she said "thanks for calling me back but I explained to you if you were not out by 1pm I was going to have to remove your stuff and put you on the DO NOt Rent List" I said I did get my stuff out I was in the parking lot and you said I would get put on the list "IF YOUR STAFF HAD TO REMOVE MY BELONGINGS" and they didn't I sat in the parking lot but causes no issue she said "NO, I WAS HELPING CLEANING THE ROOMS THAT DAY AND YOU LEFT AT 230PM " I said from the parking lot but I removed my own stuff no one else did she said "I MADE IT VERY CLEAR TO YOU" I can't believe the attitude and the uncompassionate tone in her voice is not like I was asking her to let me stay free I had Prepaid online and they denied services to me for unreasonable explanation given to me I am a paying customer that gladly recommended the hotel to others, and could not believe the way I was treated unfairly, discriminated against my race and color of skin I hope that neither one of them ever experienced a similar situation like me and my family it's the worst. Not friendly experience by far the worst for us NOT WORTH THE $ YOU PAY TO STAY THERE. Honest statement.
