Losing money. Hahahaha. Nothing too grand. Bar tender was cool.

Every one working there were helpful and friendly. All open areas were clean and sanitized. Now if they would loosen up the machines so that they paid off!

Room was clean and comfortable (excepted couldn't figure out how to set the a/c), decent water pressure in the shower and grill had yummy pizza.

We have went twice since reopening. They are not keeping it clean at all. Not even the restrooms that were always clean before.

Great place great people, machines are great, I hope they sell beer very soon.

Decent rooms… no free water though except at the front desk… great place to eat and drink though, as well as gamble of course! Great variety of machines, and although the poker play can be a blast. Usually a good beer of the month special there as well…

Win-River Casino is awesome. I never been here before until I started to petiton. We are gathering signatures to allow Sport wagering, dice games and Roulette in Casinos. Security and the entire staff are SUPER friendly. Next time when I am not working I will check out the entire casino and have FUN. I also heard they have Great Rooms and wonderful spa services. Thank you. Keep up the great work.

I usually go here pretty often and have a great time. I had a terrible experience and almost got into a physical altercation with their security staff. Let me preface this by saying I’m a career industry professional, I’ve been in food/ beverage/security/customer service for over 13 years. I had food and beverages at the bar, paid my tab via credit card. And went to gamble for approximately 30-40 min. When we finished gambling we were on way out and I was approached by security who blocked my car in and said something along the lines of “you walked out on your tab. You’re not able to leave”. “we caught you via camera” so on and so fourth. Let me just say this uppity white boy decided to be a real Rambo. I get it brown male, tattoos. Sure I’m used to people profiling me. I’m just gonna say I’m glad their security isn’t armed cause this kid was all shaky, and couldn’t even speak when I disputed his claim. I willingly went back to the bar to figure out what the confusion was. The bartender kiara said she accidentally opened a tab for us as well as the one we paid for. No big deal here. I always pay my dues. They literally have me on camera paying my bill. So I’m aghast as to the wild claim that I was trying to get over on them. Never in my life am I that guy.

Besides the tweakers late night, the casino is a fun place to go for a drink on the weekends, for some delicious food, and if you like to gamble then you can test your luck there as well.

Lots of entertainment and great staff. Love it and kids love it too.

We love Win River Casino especially the RV parking. We stop there every time we are traveling. They have a small smoke free slots. Very clean.

Awesome people work here. Friendly, kind and a wonderful atmosphere to go and relax gambling. I think the city of Redding would be foolish not to award them to build the other casino.

Great place! friendly staff!

We come here for concerts because the venue is great! No bad seats and great acoustics in a small setting. The food is good in the restaurant and there are plenty of machines to choose from if you play. This time our booking disappeared, but we were still accommodated with a smile.

Rudeness of management in the way that they shamelessly treated my good friend and her very nice Service Dog by making them leave. I pray no one else gets treated as awful as this nice Christian lady was treated. So sad.

No service dogs allowed without proof of shot record!

Had a delicious Sunday brunch there at the restaurant. The server & cooks were very courteous. The food was delicious! Would definitely recommend it. Price is reasonable too. Played some slots after, didn't win anything but my sister did. Had a great time.

Win River used to be amazing. It seems like they have cut back on employees. I've waited over 2 hrs for a drink person. Tasha is great for change. She always comes by. I was there 4 hrs today (lost) & only saw the girl w/glasses twice. Their machines are tough. Depending on the day, you can get 100 spins @. 90 & get nothing. I only go maybe once a month anymore, I've noticed regulars aren't there anymore. Overall, the people are friendly & security tries to keep the trash out & I do enjoy relaxing there every now & then.

My friend and I went to Win-River to play on the slots, he was feeling lucky. We got to Win-River and I noticed the parking lots were really full but we still found a nice parking spot. Walking in we noticed they were having a couple of events, a dance event and a Lost Coast brewery special at Elements. We wandered around and played some games and drank beers, the staff was great and everyone seemed to have a good time.

On our travel, we came across this place. … it's a typical casino with restaurants. … We had a nice dinner. … my sister in law played a little while waiting for our food. … the customer service was very friendly, lively and nice. … The food was okay. … the price is okay. … we had a good family dinner. …

Nice place. We stayed overnight before heading out to Lassen. It's kinda out of the way from grocery stores and other attractions in Redding, but, that was ok with us. Nice quiet rooms and friendly staff. We got a room right next to the elevator and I was worried about the noise keeping me up (especially since there's a Casino attached to the hotel and people usually go up and down all hours of the night), but, not a problem. It was really quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Love this casino! Very clean and an amazing staff. Your security staff were amazing when we needed their help. Helped us with our issue in a professional and caring manner. High fives and a huge thank you! We will be back. Oh, and great buffet and lunch menu.

Terrible! Ate at one of two eateries. There were two other tables besides ours, we were seated first & waited an hour for our food, being served last. We had to raise our empty drink glasses into air for refills. The food was mediocre & the smoke was so thick it burned our eyes. The service, food, cleanliness & atmosphere was poor at best. Three thumbs down, never there again! I chose one star because to rate, I had to. If you've been to any casino before, you'd be highly disappointed with Win River Casino!

Comfortable room & bed with single jacuzzi tub. Nice sized TV but no premium movie channels. On demand movies cost $20! Bring your Amazon fire stick! Nice pool area with jacuzzi & waterfall. Everything is in working & excellent condition. I haven't tried the spa yet. The night club and casino were fun! Much nicer accommodations than most other places I've stayed in Redding.

Very comfy bed, loved the spa tub. Food was delicious, drinks were good. Cigarette smell was a bit over whelming at times on the casino floor. Over all it was a wonderful stay.

I love the fact that they all know who I am. I always have enjoyed going to karaoke on Thursday nights for many years. Encore Entertainment has been the best. I would go dress up in fun crazy and interesting costumes every week. It was a blast. Last month they changed it to Tuesday nights following the Fun Trivia challenge also hosted by Davis ENCORE of Encore Entertainment. This was a big change of nights of the week. Don't feel it was given a fair shot as now they cancelled trivia and karaoke both. We my fellow karaoke singer and friends are all very unhappy and sad. It just won't be the same And David Encore will be missed. Still love Win River and they will always know who I am the lady that loves to dress in costume. And probably still will as because of being able to do this at Win River it has encouraged me to started a new business, Cindy Grams … I do singing telegram and deliver balloons in costume. We had been driving for 8 hrs and was starving and wanted a fun place to stay. I got to say the hotel room was nice and the hotel staff was very nice but the casino was so smoky, they need more ventilation. The restaurant elements was horrible. Our waitress dissapeared on us several times. We never got drink refills. We had to track down another waitress just to get our bill. And the food wasnt very good. I will not recommend this place to anyone. And because of my bad service at restaurant I will not come back to this casino.

My boyfriend and I went to Elements Restaurant for date night hearing wonderful things about the steakhouse and well let's just start with drinks I ordered a Mai Tai and it had a dirty napkin at the bottom of the glass they offered us free dessert but I was disgusted then they forgot her appetizer and brought out our steak, it looked like it had been frozen for 3 months and probably 8 to 9 oz of the steak was fat and gristle not to mention it had zero flavor completely inedible. Our date night was ruined. We left only paying for drinks (which we shouldn't have), and hungry… We will never eat at that restaurant again and we will never suggest anyone else does either!

Matt and I are always welcomed by the staff by our first name, which is awesome because Matt is 42 has autism and is non verbal. The food is great. We just need to Win a bit more.

Win River is a nice small town casino and entertainment destination. I do not gamble, but they have a lot of machines and tables for those that do. They allow cigarettes to be smoked in the majority of the casino with a small gaming section that is smoke free. I usually come here for big events like their MMA fight nights. Their event center draws all kinds of big names and different kinds of entertainment for the community. Drinks are priced fairly, and the food is decent. Nothing screams over the top amazing like in Vegas or Reno, but it does a small town justice. Overall I'm glad to have Win River in Redding.

Fun place to be. Very comfortable beds with nice clean rooms. Very helpful friendly front desk staff at hotel. Housekeepers are super nice and they do a great job. Security is security… They are there to make sure it is a safe place and can give off a hard vibe but are always really respectful and nice. Down falls are they got rid of the free drink station and it could be hours till you even see a drink host come by. Great players club promotions and big nice prizes. Food is good. Garlic fries a must.

If you love the smell of cigarette smoke… this place is great! If you don't, well you're in for a rude awakening. Once you make your way through the smoke (you never will) your only other obsicle is the tweaker gathering/convention going on throughout the building. If you happen to make it to a table you'll find only two or three open (I was there Saint Patrick's day) and the multiple people playing (21) were hitting on 14's and 15's when the dealer has a 6 showing? No thanks. The only gamble I made was buying a drink at the bar… was decent though.

Nice Campground for $26 a night hear the frogs cokin in the evening. There is a train close but not objectionable great walking path down by the river. As far as the casino I think it's a little tight but decent food.

I wanna start by saying that I am originally from the Redding area. But moved a couple years ago and had to return. We made or reservations online and went to pick up our key so we had it when we returned to the room that night. When I walked into the room the bed was totally stripped of all bedding and tossed around the room. It looked like housekeeping had forgotten our room. But that wasn’t the case. They had replaced all the beds on our floor that day. They were so nice and quickly gave us a room that was ready for us to go right to sleep. I knew win river had great customer service. This just sealed it for me. I know where I’m staying from now on.

I stayed here last night, and was very disappointed. Upon check in there was another couple that was having an issue with their reservation. The gentleman checking us in said he was putting us in a quiet part of hotel that happened to be right across from the train tracks and in front of the main parking lot. We went to elements for dinner and had soup and half a sandwich and a club sandwich and side salad. It took 30 minutes to recieve our meal and our waitress was not friendly. The table next to us had issues with their steak sent it back and still got it back wrong. We came back to elements about an hour later to try and get a drink from bar only to be ignored and the person after us to be served. We also noticed the table we had sat at for dinner still had all our dirty dishes on it. Our mini vacation did not turn out to be the fun relaxing night we had planned. Instead it was a bit frustrating.

Great place to go if you are trying to help build a new casino. Once they tightened up the machines to build the hotel and no complained they figured they could tighten them up even more to build a new casino. Sometimes coming out of a bonus round you would get a 0 bonus. Did I say sometimes, oops, most times you would get a 0 bonus. How is 0 even a bonus? Did you ever get a Xmas bonus for$0.00? Probably not. You know why? If you don't I'll tell you why. 0 is not a bonus! But wait. I just found out I could be wrong. I know what you are thinking. How could I be wrong? Well, go to win river and you will find out. You will be happy to hit a 0 bonus. Huh? Well, I believe now on a bonus you could end up owing. Let's talk about staying hydrated. Yeah, right! If You can get a drink person to come your way, let us be you did it.

Restrooms on casino floor were relatively clean as well as the machines. Staff was friendly and helpful and more than willingly to cater to our needs. Overall the experience was good and will definitely be returning again whenever in the area.

I enjoy going to win River the employees are always nice they treat you like a neighbor. The payout doesn't seem to be as good as it is at other casinos. But there is no other Casino in town for it to compete with. It's fun to go every once in awhile.

We went for dinner, the sever and Hostess were Great, the meal was somewhat disappointing. My husband had the special which was steak and lobster… The steak was smaller than my hamburger and the baked potato was cold as were the green beans… My husband is Native and a Vietnam Veteran, he doesn't complain, it's not His way. I just wanted you to know the meal could of been better.

Great place tho eat, dance and play. My only negative is getting something to drink. There used to be a drink station in the back, but because of all the homeless people coming in they took it out. I was there for 4 hours and did not get asked one time if I wanted something to drink. It's a beautiful place and friendly people for the most part. Redding is a beautiful place… come visit.

Always have a wonderful visit here. Good food and drinks. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly employees. I just want to recognize the professionalism for the Bartender on duty Tue. 26th between 3pm and when I left around 4pm. She handled a very difficult customer who asked many personal questions about her ethnicity with grace and professionalism.

Love the clean parking lot and easy access hook ups. Cement pads are level. Very well lit up area. Need good heavy curtains. Someone escorted us with a golf cart to our park station. Very friendly staff. Used the hot tub, had it all to ourselves. Definitely will return.

I used to enjoy the casino but lately the games have become less fun all the games that were fun to play and paid out are all gone. I always enjoy the bar the employees are always helpful and kind. In the hotel the rooms are always clean and service is always great. My last visit the front desk clerk Diana M was so helpful and made the stay much more enjoyable.

I've been staying and playing at Win River since they opened. The staff in the hotel is always very friendly and go out of their way to make sure I am always happy with my room. The wait staff and hostesse's in Elements are great. When I play the tables the dealers are friendly. And as for the cage department they are the best. I have made great friends there and Jessica my host goes above and beyond to help me. And if you dine alone you might even have someone that works there come and eat with you like I did on Sunday morning. Thank you Win River for making me feel like family there.

Although I was not lucky at the games, I enjoyed the bar. The bartender was great, very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the bar, sorry. After the bar we went to the pub and grill. We ordered Buffalo wings and a pepperoni pizza. The food was delicious. The only part I found lacking was the hospitality, sad but true. The employees could use some training in that department. A customer was told to go to the bar just to have her questions answered. Hmm I thought customers were priority. Customers pay to eat, pay to win and be entertained on the machines and tables, customers pay allowing for casino employees to be paid! Come on guys get some respect and courtesy.

First time there! Only stopped because we have been seeing the commercial. We were in Redding and had a little time to check it out. Had fun and I will go again if I'm anywhere near there.

This is the place to go if you find the following entertaining: local trash spending an entire month's disability check in an hour, homeless criminals, drug deals, watching the area's numerous stolen vehicles being dumped or recovered by the police, or breathing cigarette smoke so thick you could cut it with a knife. This place has a great deal of potential, especially with all of the renovations and improvements they have made over the years. However, they don't seem to be in tune with keeping their standard of clientele a bit classier. They could care less WHO comes in here, just as long as they have money to spend… no matter where that money came from.

If your interested in going here, do it on a Friday or Saturday night or during a event they are hosting. Other then that it's a place tweekers hang out all night and smoke cigarettes while they play penny slots hoping to win their next fix. But it's just the nature of the industry. The staff is nice and the restaurant is pretty good. Slots are tight and dealers are good at what they do. But everyone gets lucky sometimes. The events are not to bad at all I have spent news years there for the last 5 years with the VIP reservation and the room for the last 3. It's always good and when it's not in any way they always take care of it. All and all not a bad place to blow a few hundred dollars.

I enjoyed playing bingo until we were t o ld to be quiet by another player. I was getting help since it was my second time playing. And there were many others that were louder. If you don't like hearing people talk quietly and help then move.

The place had a slow depressed vibe. Not lively like other casinos we have been to. Rooms seemed nice. Would have liked to see the bathroom door easier to open and keep open. A night light of some sort in the bathroom would have been cool. Most places have the hair dryer attached to the wall and a light coming off of that. Anything but the pitch dark. Who wants to have a bright light in the middle of the night. Also, the bed was okay but the pillows were bad. Made sleeping uncomfortable. Probably will not go back.

Win River Casino and Hotel is a beautiful and exciting place to visit. They have awesome entertainment, scrumptious food, and wonderful service. The employees are helpful and friendly. They really make you feel at home!

We stopped in for some food and the sit-down restaurant had great prices big portions and very tasty. Casino was nice and clean with friendly staff. Wonderful little place and I shall be back.

Be prepared to lose, I can't even give them a piece of a star, back 5 to 10 years ago, you actually had a really good chance to win something, not anymore. I will go there once in 3 or 4 months, and only because a friend asked me, and even then I'll take no more than 20 dollars. It doesn't provide any sort of enjoyment at all. Save yourself money and time, don't go. In order to post I had to give 1 star, once again they took my no star rating away.

The machines were a little stingy today. The attentive cocktail waitress made up for the less than profitable gaming. Overall it was a good time, kicking it with my cousin's. It would be nice if they would install more be co-operative games like eBay, one of the fishing games, wheel of fortune, games where bonus triggered by one player initiates bonus for all players. Staff is fabulous! They met me with a smile, kind heart and knowledgeable mind. Room was clean and well stocked. Nice variety of slot machines plus cards for those who prefer. Outdoor pool, jaccuzi with lounge chairs around the pool. 1st class and Clean, clean, clean! Best way to describe it.

Win-River Resort &Casino has an amazing restaurant called Elements. Their food is very good and leaves you feeling satisfied every time you dine there. They go out of their way to help bring you what you need. They definitely give the extra mile. The locations easy to find. They have a huge parking lot and valley is always convenient. Great atmosphere.

Went here to play some cards and get some drinks. A couple people in our party went to the club area to dance and had a good time. The casino is smoke free which was nice. Casino was clean and staff were friendly. Definitely will come back here to gamble some more.

We went for the Mother's Day Brunch. We were put into the Eagle room as there was 5 of us. Initially it seemed great. But then our server disappeared. So we didn't get timely refills, in fact my husband had to go in search for the server to get more drinks. So we were charged for gratuity and received practically no service. While this is a Mother's Day event I am not saying I am upset by children being there, my own were there. But I was a bit put off by the kids being allowed to run around the dining area uncontrolled. It being a buffet style there are already people walking around and the small children seemed to be more of a hazard. Then we received promo vouchers to play in the casino. That was nice since I wasn't planning on gambling that day, but we figured why not. There is no place for kids. There isn't a kids area at all. There is an arcade in the hotel for guests, but that's it. That was a huge disappointment. The other disappointment was the fact that the cashier and the river club were in the smoking area. So non smokers are subject to the exposure and smell of cigarette smoke. Made for a rather unpleasant experience. Edit: I have taken the review from 2 stars to 1 star since I was told management would contact me; nearly a month later I have heard nothing. Edit #2: I have been in contact with a manager and she was amazing. It was nice to talk to someone who was receptive to how our experience was. She also asked about the quality of the food.

Great place to kill an evening games and entertainment. And elements has some delicious food.

Always nice to play here, good food and motel options. However, after 9pm beware of the tweaker crowd!

Inexpensive clean rooms and friendly staff. We stayed there on our way to another destination (and aren't gamblers) so didn't spend time in the casino. If you are looking for a clean and well taken care of "nice" hotel then this will do just fine… just be prepared for the casino visitors.

NOT trucker friendly. They will not allow semi trucks with trailers to park (one employee said they would allow trucks w/o trailer i. E bobtail, but I could not confirm this). Too bad, wanted to try their Sunday brunch buffet. Guess I will spend my meal and gambling money at the Rolling Hills casino in Corning. They have good truck parking and the RV clubhouse has showers ($12 I think) and laundromat. Food is good to great (depending on your budget) and casino part isn't very smoky even in the smoking section.

This casino has NOTHING over the Rolling Hills on all levels. The R. V. Park is crammed and has the smallest "pet" area I have ever seen. The casino staff allowed me to play on a slot machine that was malfunctioning and apparently "had been all day". The light outside my window stayed on until 6:30am. The non stop security staff at night was no where to be found the next morning when I was trapped outside by 2 stray pitbulls. Oh yeah, and they don't sell wine in the gift shop because" it would be in competition with the bar". I left my name and phone number to be passed on to a manager but I do expect to be contacted.

We stayed at Win River casino for the 3 time this past June and we really love it there. We want to take this opportunity to share the professional, helpful warm reception we received from one employee in particular named AMANDA E. Chison. Hotel Supervisor. She is an extraordinary employee and a warm person who makes your experience a positive one. As employers, we know that a good employee who represents herself or himself in a very good manner not benefits a company's image but also increases sales and keep customers coming back. Amanda thank you going the extra mile to make our experience great.

Excellent patio that was created to respect their players who smoke due to an oversight while crunching the # ratio of non smokers money spent and loss due to smokers. And the loyal smokers. However, WE RULE! NA NA NA. Boo Boo smoke rule. But non smokers feel free to breath outside in our New heated patio! Whoo hoo now we smokers can stay and play. The staff are like family and the comps are generous. As far as the philosophy they tighten their machines. They are bound by laws however there is a system where they have to make sure the machines are at the legal payout ratio. SOME GOOD ADVICE if u are sniffling that the machines don't pay. Go home put your rent Check back in the mail. And play free online. They have overhead too. Kudoes Win River from S. C. Faithful guest since almost the beginning from Chico Ca.

They have the casino rigged. It is a huge rip off. No pay outs at all. Too bad it used to be a good place to go to have fun. The casino got greedy!

Drove from Oregon to play the Fathers Day 5K tourney. I called and asked how many places they were paying? They said they pay 5 places in there 50 player tourney. They said that since it was 100 player they thought it would pay 10 places. They had the event in the events room. The tournament clock with stats was on the wall. Number of players, pay outs, etc. The only thing it was used for was the timer. No one knew how to run the program to change stats. They hand wrote on a clip board that they payed 6 spots and the amounts. The table had wanted to pay the other players $200. The tournement person said money was already in vault and could not be changed. I went out 8th : — (

Really like the non-smoking resort concept, which started on 3/14/14. We also love their new hotel, which has very comfortable beds; and the new Creekside Café which has terrific specials with 24 hour service. Players Club gives very good rewards. We are locals and are there at least twice a month.
