Very friendly and helpful staff 5 stars to Amanda and Felisha! Clean and redecorated rooms. Small room and shower for larger sized people (they might have larger rooms) I’m mentioning ours. SUPER PET FRIENDLY our puppy was very happy with all the grassy areas. Also a huge plus room was nice and cool when we entered it and stayed cool all night.

I was unhappy that my AARP card was not acceptable for a discount and there were no discounts for a senior. I was even more unhappy because the hour was very late when I arrived and found the bottom sheet torn and dirty. Your staff needs to make sure no dirty feet marks are made on the bed. I was very happy that your staff was courteous and helpful. Very professional except for not providing any discounts. I was also happy that the room was available.

Better then my last experience but still needs improvements, the bathrooms are horrible the shower head hardly worked. The group that stayed in another room that was with us saw multiple cockroaches while in their room. There was a lot of suspicious characters hanging around the parking lot and going in and out of various different rooms could be nothing but seemed fishy.

They recently upgraded the rooms and they are so nice. I love the wood floors and the beds are so comfortable. The only thing I wish they had in the room or even in the lobby is a microwave. They do have mini fridges though. The staff is really nice and the pool is nice and clean.

Had a very nice stay. Employees and maids were very nice. Rooms were real nice.

My family and I were satisfied with this hotel. Good price and the rooms were almost perfect. Almost perfect because there was no blow dryer, iron, or small fridge/coffee. It's not a bad thing just that it's more of a one night stay type of place. I was still content with our stay.

The bed was especially comfortable. Very nice room. I enjoyed my stay. Would recommend.

The hotel has a very interesting cost benefit. The garage is good and accommodates big cars well. The breakfast is good but the space is small. The waffle machines are great. The room is large and accommodates well the suitcases and clothes of the trip. Great location, close to everything in town.

Sounds like water running / trickling constantly in ceiling. Waste water? Why? Staff knows nothing. Huh? And why does Motel 6 not offer bath tissues? People will steal them? Other motels have solved that problem. Walking noise from above unit. Why build like this? Added electrical receptacles at night stand nice.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was nice and comfortable and the price was good. We were able to enjoy our time and would recommend it to our family and friends when they're in porterville.

The sink plug was pushed all the way down with no way of lifting it back up. The bed was too small for two people. Other than that it was quiet and the room was clean. Could have used some shampoos instead of just two soaps.

We had a good stay. They were paving the parking lot. This was inconvenient but we managed. I didn't like signing my name to a "blank" screen when we checked in. The desk clerk should have given me a hard copy to look at first. I asked what I was signing and she said "standard stuff". We asked for non smoking. Room deffinately had been smoked in. Bed spreads stinky. Even so we would stay here again all things considered.

Some one went through my belongings displacing them and even dropping my lip stain on the bathroom floor. I tried to lodge a complaint with the manager Amanda Wright and she snickered and I had pressed to start an investigation. Amanda volunteered info that they might have accidentally given me key code to another guest. They cannot explain how my lip stain ended up on the floor but would at the very most have a talk with the staff. When I asked about cameras or further investigating she offered to scan my card reader but again told me it would only result in a talk with staff no compensation… all I was asking for was resolution & finding out who touches my things. When I asked to be present for the card reader she laughed saying I would not understand it so it’s not necessary. My concern was her falsifying the codes since she already declared it could not have been the maid. I left like Amanda did not take my complaint seriously when I said I felt violated and concerned about using any of my makeup not know who else used it or what was done with it if some was found on the floor. She was not professional or sympathetic to a woman traveling with children. She told me it would be a couple hours before she could do anything. At that point I returned to being told I would have to wait longer. At this point I finally asked for a return, she laughed and said they would not.

Location was great in reference to attractions. Was no shampoo or soap in room. Also, 1 of the towels were dirty and the other had multiple hairs folded inside. Inspections should've been made to laundry and room to ensure everything was in order. I also requested extra pillows but nothing was set.

Booked a "Non-Smoking" room, but got a "Smoking" room. Told it was the only one left. I guess it is a waste of time to book in advance. Room smelled like it had been heavily smoked in and really dimmed my overall experience. Also the shower stall was weird and the towels thin. Should have paid more to stay somewhere else. Won't make same mistake twice.

I rented two rooms for the same night 3 adults one child. The first (for 2 adults) was just as expected for the price that was paid. The second room (for the 3rd adult and one child) had multiple issues. The bathroom door didn't stay closed. The phones cord fell out of the hand device. And the smoke detector went off with no smoke in the room. Also the rooms were supposed to be next to each other on the first floor. They were 4 rooms away from each other and were on the second floor. The night clerk wasn't very receptive. But the am clerk was very nice, polite and sweet.

Upon check-in, I reported to the front desk that the heat was not functioning in the room. I was told that maintenance does not work on the weekends but that somebody would look at it on Monday. It got warm over the next few days so I had no need to turn the heat on but made the assumption that it had been fixed while I was at work. When it got colder, I turned the heat on and it, still, was not working. I spoke with an maintenance person that day, a Saturday, and he stated that he would check on the boiler and get back to me. Whether he checked on the boiler or not I don't know but he certainly never got back with me. Then, the next couple of days were warm and we didn't need the heat but it got really cold for a couple of days and we had no heat. The front desk told me that there were no other rooms available and the best they could do for us was to offer additional blankets. I asked what good the blankets would do us if we were sitting on the toilet (because the bed is not the only place where somebody needs to be warm) and she took offense to that remark. She told me that I could attempt to adjust the valves myself to see if I could get the heat working. I did, but there was no hot water in the line at all and reported that back to her. The next day, a younger maintenance man came to the room and he, also, could not get hot water flowing to the unit. He told me that he would call his boss for advice and get back to me within 15 minutes.

The room look clean enough until my little grandson spilled some soda on the floor and the wipe was really black. And also the lights close to the bed did not work. Your bed was very comfortable and your pillows was great. Other than those things we enjoyed the room.

The evening front desk person was very nice & cheerful, the morning person, when we checked out not so much. The fan thing in the bathroom was hanging out, the shower stall floor was not very clean. I like staying at motel 6 because we have a little dog & you accept pets. Thank you :)

Minimalist room but that is what I expected. Shower leaked out the entry door, shower pan was patched in two places with large pieces of tape, old school analog CRT television, window was found slightly open and unlocked so good thing I checked it before leaving for dinner, and floor was dirty as discovered by walking around with no shoes. Beds and pillows were OK and plenty of towels. No shampoo — — just soap.

Active remodeling. Would not recommend if you are on business and working nights. Lobby personal always hesitant to help with any grievance. Small pet waste around the property so be careful where you step. Not one of my better experiences at Motel 6's.

Porterville was hot, but Motel 6 had the AC on, so the rooms were cool. The pool was nice, and this is why the Inland Empire Free Riders motorcycle club consistently picks Motel 6 as we travel around California and abroad sightseeing. We love Motel 6. Good prices and good service.

Prices we better than what my options were at the time! Rooms were clean and it smell nice! The bathroom could had use a bit more detail cleaning, shower could had used a bit of bleach, and extra attention! Overall nice staff! It said free Wi-Fi but it only option was to pay for it!

When we first arrived and got our room we saw that the towels and sheets were dirty. Told management and they corrected. Air conditioner was EXTREMELY loud and so we turned it off even though it was 99 degrees that day because I didn't want to complain too much. Next guests in next room came in at 2:00 a. M. And started drinking and partying really loud and woke us all up. Lady at the front desk said she and security guard went to location but could not hear anything however we called several times to make it stop. My husband noticed that the security guard was not doing anything, however he noticed the guard was drinking something. Finally at 4:00 a. M. It stopped. Our air conditioner continued running really loud so we had to sleep, when we were allowed to sleep becauese of partying guests next door, in a very hot room because of LOUD air conditioner. EVERYTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE STAY! We left as soon as the day assistant manager came on and she also treated me as though she did not believe me by rolling her eyes and sighing hard when I told her what had happened. She said she would give us a $30.00 credit on our bill but could not provide us with any documentation to show that a $30.00 credit had been applied to our credit card. I will be contacting the credit card company to verify the credit had been applied.

I was displaced twice from my home both times I stayed in a Motel 6 and both times I had a horrific experience. The only way I would even consider ever staying at a Motel 6 again is if you refunded me for this entire stay. At check in for this particular stay I briefly explained my situation, about how I was displace do to a domestic situation, I explained that my son and I needed at least a week possibly a bit more until the place we were moving to was ready for us. Given what I had told the person who had checked us in, I don't have enough space here to go into details but I would have expected him to inform me that there was no refrigerator nor microwave — I had even mentioned how hungry and tired we were and how I was just going to heat up some tacos eat and then go to sleep. So imagine to my surprise when I had gotten into the room and there was no microwave or fridge and there was only a shower and not a tub (I have a toddler). I went right back to the counter to ask if another room that may have the things I needed, but nope, because I am running out of characters I'm going to make this as short as possible. That night my poor baby fell in the shower and hurt himself really badly and the water was still running on top of him, now my little guy is STILL AFRAID OF THE SHOWER. So after that night my next week was a mess because my baby screamed in horror everytime I tried to give him a shower.

Michelle at the front desk was very kind. She gave us a list of nearby restaurants and was quick and friendly. Checking in was very easy. Our room was very clean and temperature was perfectly cooled. My only issues were that the only available rooms were upstairs which was difficult for my disabled husband and 1 year old son and the only ice machine was downstairs near the office. I would definitely return to this location and recommend it to others!

The room was nice. The cops showed up to a room around the corner from us at like before we went to be. But we didn't know why and it seemed handled and safe in the area.

The person that received us was very nice and helpful. However, the room was dirty and old. We found a used bar of soap in the shower, and nuts next to the bed. The bed was made with haste as the sheets were not pulled straight. Normally not a problem, but it added to the negative experience. Also, the whole room really needed an update. The style is very old-fashioned, the furniture was old (ancient TV for example) en there were cracks in the porcelain of the bathroom sink. As a result, I did not veel very comfortable. Surprisingly, bed was ok as far as comfort goes.

Was about 6 months ago and we stayed in one that was close to Pismo Beach we had a blast the rooms were very nice everything was clean the bathroom was clean showers beds very good location we were just minutes from the beach I would definitely recommend it to a friend I did only give it for stars because there was no breakfast or anything like that but the checkout times were good and the staff then everyone that was around seems pretty nice I believe it was by a Denny's we I did the Denny's that was great too.

For the pricing direct with Motel 6 and we belong to AARP and pet friendly we enjoyed our stay very much. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The AC was not working, it would just blow out hot air. My friends AC in another room was also not working. When he called and asked they told him that when the outside temperature was at a certain level, the AC would stop working. Ridiculous!

Their pet policy is ridiculous and they complain about every little thing that happens… I do not recommend motel 6 to anyone that has pets … they get mad because pets pee and poop.

I just stayed there last nite. I was visiting my husband in KVSP which is really close. The hotel staff were very polite and had great customer service. The room was spotless and has a great shower. I will for sure be coming back. Alicia Olivarria.

Rates are good. Room is what you would expect from a motel 6. I cannot believe they still have CRT'S from the '90's in their rooms! The front desk is nice and helpful though so that's nice.

Motel 6, Porterville welcomed us. Including my two dogs, with opened arms. Staff and cleaning crew were very friendly. Because of them, I felt safe staying there, which is a big plus when traveling to a new destination. Thank you so much Motel 6 Porterville!

After hurrying to get our things out of the room before check in time, a female employee went in the room to prepare for their next guest. A laptop was left, behind the door, and she ran after us to make sure we didn't leave without it. Definitely appreciated the care for their guests, wouldn't expect that from most Motel 6's. Thank you so much! Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay. Would recommend if you need a cheap place to stay for a few nights.

We have stayed here many times, while visiting our grandson at PDC. The motel has always been a good safe place for us to stay. It isn't fancy; but it accepts our dog, and has a friendly and helpful staff. Our bed was comfortable, and the AC worked!

Motel 6 is an A+ in my book! They r fair also work w/a program helping the homeless get a rm. For the nite. They treat the homeless w/kindness. Aka:~♥Roaming~Fox♥~.

Price it's lots better then others but bathroom OMG it's old TV hahahah sinks toilet discusthing n human hair all over just don't like.

This motel has roaches in the rooms and it smells like cigarettes. Bathroom had hair everywhere, toilet had pee on it and towels were dirty with pink stuff. Only stayed because it was midnight and tired from driving 6 hrs. This is a really sanitary issue that the corp should be concern about.

Very courteous and convenient just didn't like the over bearing cigarette smell in the rooms that were marked for non smoking it had resignated from over a period of time of exposure but they were able to give me spray to spray which was temperal nevertheless the service was adequate.
