The room stunk like urine and when I told the front desk girl she didn't care and was really rude.
I would never stay there again! I absolutely DO NOT recommend!

Do not stay here! They don’t care about their customers. One of my relatives got COVID therefore we had to cancel to avoid passing it to others. Well after we notified them someone in our group had tested positive they didn’t care. They refused to cancel our reservation even though they knew it would be dangerous to have a guest that had COVID. Go elsewhere!

Nothing horrible service we were charged extra and the receptionist was rude the room was not that great no cold water… They made us pay 30 dollars extra for trying to get the room 2 hours early and in the reservation they said it was fine. Don't recommend this hotel.

Very clean rooms. Great staff. Nice pool and Great hot tub. Only got to go in it once because it broke. We live locally and only decided to stay here because of the hot tub. So we were disappointed. They had a good breakfast. Real scrambled eggs and sausage. They had waffles, cereal, muffins and sweet rolls. Juices, coffee, tea. Enough to start your day.
It's not near the beach but not a far drive. This hotel is right next to the outlet stores.

Good heated pool. Cheap price.

Checked in around 3:45 pm today drove around Pismo came back and checked out at 7:23 the same day… I could not sleep in this room the curtains were ripped and had mold on them the room smelled walls were dirty with patch work everywhere and the plumbing was bad … When I checked out the girl at the front desk got very offended at what I was telling her she said this is one of my best rooms… on a good note almost home…

Made a reservation on Booking. Com and tried to cancel it 3 weeks ago they are trying to make me pay for the room anyway… the worst customer service… and I’ve had other people tell me they didn’t like their stay there. I will never deal with Booking. Com or this place ever…!

I just got off the phone with a good friend and my blood is still boiling! She has a medical service animal, for her diabetes. She stopped at a Hotel on the Central California Coast, the Pismo Beach Quality Inn and as is her habit, explained her medical situation at check-in. … The next day as she was getting ready to drive away, the Counter Clerk from the office came out, and dressed her down for having a dog in the room. The clerk was abrassiive and nasty and told her that this was not a dog friendly hotel. She explained it was a medical service animal and she'd be happy to show the clerk the dog's California Medical ID. Instead the clerk just left in a huff. Several minutes later, my friend got a notification that the Hotel had just charged her a $100 fee for having an animal in the room. She complained to Choice Hotels and then spoke to the Hotel Manager, without any interest in cleaning this mess up they are dragging their feet. I'm going to protest this behavior on the Hotel's Social Media pages. This is so wrong.

Hotel staff is very welcoming, and pool is great. 256.00 for a very small dbl bed room is a little outrageous. Especially, since there were 3 mismatch paint spots from holes in wall in room 411. Also, long black hair in tub, and I have short blonde hair, and, that was before using it. Breakfast was hot, and very nicely presented. Clean wipe down towels put on all motorcycles in am to wipe off the dew was a nice touch.

Best deal I ever got for a hotel, and the complimentary breakfast at Huckleberry's was great. Everything was nice. It was clean, safe, quiet, and staff was very respectful. Also, had a great view. I can't complain. Excellent deal for Pismo, and high quality for a romantic outing on a budget.

My rating would go to a 4 or even a 5 if the bathrooms and showers were cleaned properly. I know many people use them but the people in charge could do a better job. Aside from that this is awesome place to come to to get away from the city life. Beaches are clean.

Stayed here with my family, the chubby older male that works here consistently harassed us at all hours. He said he was checking the cameras and he wanted to make sure everything was in order. It made me feel completely uncomfortable, I had to close my windows just to make sure he wouldn’t stare into them. We heard his footsteps in the hallway and saw the boots underneath the door for a good 5 minutes until he slowly started to walk away. Would never stay here or even recommend it to anyone. I almost wanted to contact the authorities. The room was extremely small and the blankets had stains all over them and when I requested a new one they didn’t have any new ones.

Clean rooms. Nice pool & hot tub with waterfall. Great for massaging my sore shoulders. Breakfast is great, just don't expect to find seating. We brought our food to our room. Front desk gets over crowded at times. A little small for the amount of guests they service each day.

Nice location next to premium outlets, and a McDonald's, free breakfast 6-9:30, but they have no ketchup : (and they almost ran out of eggs, sausage was good. Pool is nicely heated with complimentary hair at the bottom. This hotel was so good it even came with complimentary hair on my towel. Fridge is good size, microwave is almost clean, one problem is the shower can obviously be a bath, but there is no plug for the bath. The hot tub is a good temp, with some nice waterfalls, and rocks with circuitry inside them for some reason.

New paint, new decor, new carpet is a plus, but the walls are super thin, you can hear everything. Awesome continental breakfast and the spa is enormous! Heated pool made swimming enjoyable for the kids. I would stay here again, but use earplugs.

Decent location. The pool area was pretty nice with a heated pool and hot tub. Room was smaller than expected as pictures online made it look a lot bigger, and room walls are thin so you can hear people above and beside you. Our room had issues with the Cable Box which turns out that it was just loose, but no biggie. If you are looking for a place to sleep, this is a decent one. But if you are looking for a good place to hang out in the room all day, you may want to check elsewhere.

For a few nights ok. So American style breakfast buffet has little choice. The walls are very thin you can hear almost everything the neighbors do or when someone runs faster in the aisle you also hear it in the room. Plus points for cleanliness.

It's a good hotel to stay rooms are good… Will get complementary breakfast (not much items for Indians) … Best part is Pismo beach is near you cab reach rally fast by your car.

Clean Central Motel… nice staff… Pismo Beach is a beautiful coastal town with a giant outlet right next to the hotel many Fastfoodketten close by… Breakfast is served next door in a diner… Room not huge but adequate… ideal for transit… 50 miles away towards San Francisco… In Piedras Blancas… there is a seal colony to be seen on the coast… absolutely cool to be 10 meters away from hundreds of seals… make a detour.

The rooms are clean and fairly renovated but small. However I don't spend more than a few hrs in a hotel at the end of a long day while at Pismo Beach! Parking here while hauling a trailer is a bit difficult as parking is very limited and I don't feel comfortable leaving a trailer full of quads out on the street. The breafast was pretty decent. Saved a few $$ from not eating breakfast out.

A gem of a motel situated right next to an outlet and the beach. Lovely heated pool area with great staff, very friendly offering advice on local activities. Breakfast was a welcome bonus with a good variety of choice. Rooms a good size with no complaints from us. Deffo recommend and stay again.

The room they gave us smelled like pipe, I saw a couple of cockroaches and there was no hot water all day until the next day … too cold to bathe with cold water arriving from the beach. A little high the pressure for such a poor room, $ 120. I do not book again here. The only good thing is the pool, it is very nice

Nice rooms, easy parking, within easy walks of good breakfast restaurant. Staff was attentive and friendly. Quiet but close to lots of stores. Not a great view of the beach, but I will return when I stay in Pismo again. Stayed two nights.

Middle of the road. Nothing fancy. Maybe a little expensive for what it is but not terrible.

Best pool and hot tub! Pool was warm even at 8pm in Winter and hot tub was lovely and hot! Great location next to shops. Breakfast was okay. Room was clean and tidy. Only downside is that it can be noisy. Walls are thin and if you face the RV park you can hear the highway. Tip. Ask for a room facing the outlet mall for a quieter night.

Great outdoor heated pool, especially in winter. King sized bed works fine for 2 adult and one small kid. Room is small but clean and functional with microwave and fridge.

Fairly quiet and out of the way. Walk to the outlet mall. Huge hot tub with water falls! Best free breakfast anywhere!

Best hot tub/pool combo I've ever seen at a motel. The breakfast was standard fair but was really well organized and the place was very clean. The only downside is that they are a little anal about checking out pool towels from the front desk but they were very nice about it.

The hotel was clean and the lady was nice at the front desk. But noise noise noise. The walls here are thin. It sounded like the guests in the neighboring room kept rearranging their furniture amevery 5 minutes starting 6 am. This also appears to be a biker hang out. There must have been 15+ Harley Davidson's fire up, idle, and roll in or out between the hours of 5am and 7am, seemingly right outside of our room. Every time someone walked on the front balcony past our room, the floor vibrated. I would suggest another hotel if you plan on sleeping in a little bit. They had a heated pool; we did not use it.

Probably the worst hotel stay ive ever had. My husband and I woke up to loud construction and music around 830 on a Sunday morning. Come to find out its the two rooms flanking ours. When I complained the front desk clerk and manager stated that all they could do was give a $20 discount on my $200 rate. The manager even told me I should be more understanding because I should expect hotels need to be renovated. Completely unapologetic. The owner ended up giving me an $80 credit. The room should have been fully refunded… so rediculous!

My room was very clean. Generous breakfast. Staff was ok. The plug that the immovable hair dryer was connected to did not work. But I was able to move the coffee maker. ☺

Simple but clean. Location is good (next to outlet center, but for the beach you must use your car). Very friendly staff! Breakfast is good, too. I would stay there again.

Thought the description sounded nice and went by the previous reviews. As the price was a little bit more I guessed this was a great place to stay. Our room faced a lot full of dilapidated, abandoned RV's. The outside deck on the bottom floor was wood so you could hear every lead footed human go by. The room was clean but saw rotten wood in the bathroom. The toilet was made for first graders and the lid squeaked along with the door so anybody trying to sneak a pee good luck. Oh, and the "My cousin Vinnie" train comes through at 2:00

Small but very nice and clean hotel. The beds were super comfortable. So far the best beds we've had out of all our travels. It was nice to see that the beds could easily be pushed against the wall to accommodate for small children. I didn't have to worry about him falling off the bed. This hotel is about a 2 min drive to the beach. The breakfast was above my expectations the only huge disappointment was the size of the breakfast are. It was way too small!. My family and I had to go eat outside by the pool with little toddlers. Other than that it was very comfortable and I would stay there again.

Excellent motel with heated pool and spa. Nice and clean rooms — no complaints. Just be aware that the breakfast area is really small compared to the level of staying guests which leads to an overcrowded breakfast buffet. So come in good time for the breakfast which closes at 9am.

Super friendly and informative front desk worker. Got him late at night, looking for something to do and he gave me plenty of input. The room was perfect. Not a single problem. Will be back more in the future.

Short walk to beach or shops and food. Clean room. Empty fridge (my preference). Great view from every part of the hotel. Plenty of convenient parking no matter which room you are in.

The Google description is accurate. This place is. I thing special, but there is a certain expectation when staying at a chain like this. The room had been painted over so many times it looked terrible. Paint of the bathroom door knob, 12x12 metal plate bolted to the back of the bathroom door, rust coming from nails in the door trim, bed was hard, Wi-Fi was terrible, and our view was of an RV lot. We also found a small dead bug (with wings not a bed but) in ou Babes. But then again, you get what you pay for. We went cheaper, and got cheaper. The lady in the office at checkin was very nice, and so was the lady at check out. We didn't eat breakfast but I saw eggs, sausage, etc. If you are on a budget and need a serviceable hotel, this place is fine. But don't book this hoping you are finding a gem.

Other than a sturdy shower chair the accessible room was not accessible. There were no ramps leading to the walk in front of the room, there was a big bump leading into the doorway that made getting a wheelchair in extremely difficult then once inside there was no room to wheel around. The owner/manager was extremely rude. Kicking us out of the pool area and throwing a fit about my service dog. The lady at the desk that was there during this was very apologetic and I could tell she felt awful. We always stay at Quality Inns and Comfort Suites when traveling but we will be finding a new branch to use the next time we are at the beach.

Not a great place. The Wi-Fi is very flakey. The rooms show the signs of having been beat up and repaired too many times. The bathroom door won't lock. The stairs are very clunky and uneven. I think that with one match the whole place would burn to the ground, possibly improving the property value. The breakfast was standard fare, but okay. We went away for the day and came back to find that the window was open, leaving just a screen to protect our property.

The front desk staff was very rude, beds are not comfortable, we had a two bed room in which one comforter had a disgusting stain on it! We even saw a roach come out from behind the tv! THAT was the LAST time there! I'd recommend ANY other place in Pismo!

Decent place to stay the night. It's not fancy, and some rooms are pretty small, but I've stayed here twice and I'm happy enough. Breakfast is similarly decent.

Did the job of providing a bed to sleep in and a shower. Good channel selection on TV, and A/C did the job. Provided hot breakfast with waffles, eggs and sausage and a variety of carbs, but the eggs came with a weird green color at the bottom of the tray. Wifi was not powerful in the room, so had to use the lonby, which was good enough to watch videos and stream.

This place was gross. The carpets where sticky dirty, the lights in the bathroom sound like they run on their own separate generator, the actual shower was falling apart, and the rooms where too small for comfort, taking lugggage to the second floor is a pain because there are no elevators. More like UN-quality inn. Do not stay here. This place needs a MAJOR renovation. I suggest quality suites in SLO instead.

Lousy he service of the hotel were delivered to the room at 3 pm because they were cleaning up and the 4 of the afternoon ended up handing it over, and only because the recamarista gave priority, as the TV without signal marks to the lobby and they do not answer. Worst service ever.

The room was small but clean and a fine place to rest your head for one night. The best part was the breakfast next morning. Fresh eggs and sausage, waffles, cereal, pastries, fruit, yogurt, good coffee and conversation! Overall a good value.

Fabulous! Everyone treated us very well and we had a great family reunion. Hope to return just to enjoy the facilities again!

Stayed there the keys didn't work every night we had to get new ones. When I checked in they didn't give me my drivers license back and they wouldn't put it in the mail to me. When I sent them a stamped envelope they didn't send it back. Now I am sitting in the DMV for 3 hours trying to get a new one. They need a better system and competent employees.

Looking for a nice getaway in Pismo beach? Great, start looking else where, the Quality Inn is terribly overpriced and offers nothing to justify the overly inflated nightly rate. A beautiful view of trailer parks can be seen from all angles of every room. A walking distance McDonald's might be the most beneficial thing the hotel has to offer and that's pretty pathetic at that. The thread count of the sheets on the bed are so low I felt like I was tossing and turning in a burlap coffin on top of a mattress that might as well have been the floor. The hotel walls that separate the rooms would be more sound proof if they were Japanese paper wall dividers, I can hear every conversation, sneeze, fart, cough from every guest in the entire hotel. Had a rough night sleep on hell bed? Not to worry an outrageously mediocre breakfast is available at 6 am for all you people who came on vacation so you can wake up earlier than you do for your day job just to have a soggy pancake and bitter orange juice. After breakfast feel free to head over to the large spacious jacuzzi that would normally fit 12 people. Unfortunately they thought putting a giant waterfall on one entire half of the oblong jacuzzi would be neat. Instead it creates an experience where you can't sit on only one half of the jacuzzi and still be relentlessly splashed in the face by the oversized waterfall. Hey maybe breakfast at 6 am is a bit too early for you so feel free to sleep in, just kidding.

Wifi doesn't work at all even with the code they give you. Worst beds ever hard as a rock. Tiny terrible ugly rooms. Surrounded by trailer parks front and back. Also surrounded by McDonald's, and tons of ugly outlets for terrible ghetto brands. Pool is terrible and hot tub is terrible because the waterfall kept hitting us in the face with water. $300 a night? Are you serious? A motel 6 would've been 100 times better than this. Thin walls I can hear everyone talking. At 9 am the maid came knocking down my door to clean the room, 9 am? Seriously? They wouldn't even let me check in at 2 pm an hour early. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my enture life. Not kidding. Do not stay here.

This is one of the worst hotels I've visited. The worst was the pool — looking at the photo on the website just now made me laugh! The pool water was so disgusting that you could not even see your own legs in it. My children had been cooped up in a car with the promise of a hotel pool, so I let them go in, but I was actually seriously afraid they would catch some awful disease from that nasty water, and we left. Then the rooms are so tiny that there was no place to even put our suitcases and be able to walk around the beds. There were dead cockroaches on the floor and the bathroom was filthy. The TV didn't work. The staff was rude. I never leave online reviews, but I have to warn people about this gross place!

The staff up front was very friendly and the accommodations were over the top. The pool area was amazing with just the right temperature and the hot tub was just right. Thanks for a great experience.

Don't stay here customers service is bad. The Wi-Fi sucks they don't give extra towels. The plumbing in several rooms were bad. They have spiders in there rooms. It's to over priced to have so may things wrong. I did like the breakfast and house keeping was very nice.

They suck their toilet doesn't work & they don't like giving extra towels that bitch at the desk was so rude the maids were super nice ladies!

We stayed at this hotel last year, mothers day weekend. We had a bad experience especially for paying a high price that we did, figure it would be a decent hotel. Broken bath room door, dirty toilet, dirty sheets, dirty shower, and especially roaches in the hotel room! We were scared we would take them home with us or get on our 1 year old so we left. After we complained to them they said they couldn't give us our refund but only $20 back. Never again will we ever return to this hotel very unsanitary especially when you have babies.

Didn't like this place at all. There were all sorts of problems with the room such as a leaky showerhead, TV not being able to switch channels as well as full size beds that we had to pay 165 for. Also the service was lousy. When we asked for the TV to be fixed at the front desk they said they were busy so we waited until it never happened. So we came back to the desk in which the guy said just talk to management tomorrow for a slight refund. We then came back the next day then they said that couldn't refund us because it was in a safe. Overall would not return or recommend. Poor service, high prices and very noisy.

Awful. They were renovating the rooms and decided to change out the furniture on one of the two days we were there. So, on Sunday 3/8/15 they claimed they changed out our dresser drawer. This was not the case. We checked in on Saturday 3/7/15, and no one entered our room on Sunday because the do not disturb sign was out. When we returned to our room Sunday evening everything was the same way we left it. They have said 4 people are claiming they changed out our dresser, again this is false. I would like to know how the owner, housekeeping, maintenance and front desk all could've entered our room with the do not disturb sign on? Now I am being charged or breaking a new dresser drawer which was not there when I checked out. The room had the old furniture and I remember commenting on the ugly gray they decided to go with because they had it stacked up outside. Everyone has refused to help me and I have been treated like I am lying. I have since, filed 3 complaints with corporate and now the better business bureau. I don't like being scammed out of my hard earned money. Do not stay at this hotel. Dishonest workers. Also, the Emelia at the front desk cusses at you and hangs up if she doesn't like what you have to say. Never talked to someone so rude in my life. Spend the money and stay somewhere with honest workers. I have NEVER had an issue with any place before. This, by far, is the worst and most dishonest business practice I have ever seen.

Totally decent, inexpensive hotel where we wanted to stay.

I am working at a power plant nearby on a shutdown. I spend a lot of nights every year in motels. After a long and grueling drive I was happy to see Ashly's smiling face when I checked in. She is competent, efficient and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good service all the way around, but Ashly is the best part of staying at this motel.

The office staff were friendly and helpful. My room had a minifridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The bathroom was cramped but the sink was outside of it which is nice. I work nights and checked in at 8 am with no extra fees or issues, although twice the maid came by to clean the room, opening the door without so much as knocking. A simple "do not disturb" sign fixed that problem for the next day. The hotel itself is just OK. The walls are paper thin, and I had a 1st (ground) floor with a window that faced the parking lot. If you find yourself here, park your car in front of your own window since the incline of the parking lot will shine people's headlights directly into your window as they park and you'll find the curtains do not come close to blocking out the light. Also, the thin walls couldn't silence a Prius. Overall, its a decently appointed hotel that could use some modernization. The breakfast is surprisingly decent, and I got my room around $55/night and that's a darn good deal for what you get here.
