Very clean! Very quiet! Comfortable temperature. Like home. Folded towels into animals and flowers. Soft sheets. Comfortable bed. Great decor! Definitely will stay here again!

This is such a quaint place to stay — we loved it! Each room is part of a Fifties era duplex building with a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and bar-style little sink. There is a cute little electric fireplace and the towels are all folded in such a cute way. Comfortable bed, clean, nice garden and outdoor seating. A great buy compared to newer, "fancier" hotels. We'll definitely return!

It is clean and quiet and the great location! And actually, the setting is very nice.

Pros: Very nice staff and a well maintained classic motel. Dogs are welcome. Wifi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker all in the room. The room was very clean and looked recently renovated while keeping little touches like the beam ceilings and original mechanical do not disturb/maid service indicator. The garden out front features a gas grill and picnic tables. Cons: parking is sparse near the units and the road around the property can get snug for large vehicles. While relaxing in the garden at night we were joined by a black widow spider, which sent us back inside. The shower is nice but very tiny. The bed is very firm.

Such a cute/ romantic motel! My husband, son and I stayed for 3 days for a wedding at the Hummingbird House. Our room was very clean and the outside patios are a plus. The staff was the icing on the cake! I left my wedding ring on a unmade bed, called the office and it was personally hand delivered by the manager upon return to the property. I can't give enough stars, I enjoyed my stay and will be back…

Was a little skeptical of all the glowing reviews but my cynicism was quickly laid to rest once I checked into my room. This place rocks! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was cozy but very clean and had character. I stayed in Doubletree in West Palm Beach recently for 3 times the price yet it had none of the charm.

Feels like going to visit grandma's bungalow. You don't want to offend her because the place reflects her age and modesty. But grandma like TV so this was good for it's cable. It is kind of a shame I paid tge same for the Holiday Inn Express but go a lot less. You can look at this as a history lesson. Or maybe wish the A\C didn't stink like pee, or tge window wasn't painted shut, or the neighbors outside didn't make you feel like you were in a mobile home park as they talked loudly outside. Beds were firm and seemed clean. Service was very nice. Kind of noisy from the busy road. All this for about $175 a night due to the state fair? Not worth in but didn't have much choice at the time. I have to point out the towel sculptures were amazingly cool. A swan and a flower on the beds. My grandma couldn't do that.

Was just looking for a decent place to stay on a ride trip and was absolutely blown away with how great this place was! Very clean! Great customer service and hospitality! I would absolutely recommend this place and look forward to visiting it again.

Soy una persona que cree en gastar un poco más en hotel para asegurar estar cómoda, pero la ubicación del motel nos gustó y decidimos quedarnos ahí. Qué hotel tan bonito! Mejor que muchos de los hoteles más conocidos en los que me he quedado. Cobijas muy cómodas, un microondas, refrigerador con congelador, y personas muy muy amable. Cuando regrese a visitar ahí nos vamos a quedar. Excelente hotel!

I liked the sound of this place from the other reviews and I was not disappointed. It felt like I was coming home when I opened the door of the room. Yes the place is quirky — you don't find towels folded into the shape of animals in every motel room! But the furnishings compliment the space and everything was clean and worked. The bed was great — plenty of choice of pillows and fluffy towels in the bathroom. The gardens outside are beautiful — full of fragrance and happy bees buzzing around. Walking distance to many restaurants and a microwave and refrigerator in each room if you want to use your own supplies. Definitely recommend this place and would happily stay there again.

Wonderful sweet and above all clean motel. Rooms furnished with love, super-friendly owner. Absolutely recommended! You immediately feel at ease with poodle.

A nice motel with a very friendly welcome. Our room was very clean, there was coffee & milk & tea in the small kitchen as well as a refrigerator & microwave.
The towels smelled good and were nicely soft. We only had one night. Found a wide range of restaurants, gas station, deli less than 10min away on foot. The city makes a very well-groomed impression. Absolutely worth seeing!

Great place to stay! The rooms are small but very clean and cozy. This is a motel that will remind the days gone by and the people who work here are wonderful it is also pet friendly. I have stayed here many times it has become the place to stay!

We were very pleased with Farmhouse. When you walk into your room, you feel like you are in a friends guest room not a motel. The room and bathroom has personal touches you don’t find in normal motels. The room and bathrooms are clean and decorated with taste. Staff is very polite and helpful. We would stay there again.

Taylor was awesome. I was late in arriving and, without any fuss, she kept the light on till I got there. She even gave up her dinner salad so I could fit something in to eat. The sidewalks roll up early in that part of town so, if you skipped renting a car, make sure you bring snacks and update your ride-sharing apps before you arrive because there are virtually no all-night stores in the immediate vicinity. Everything else was resoundingly positive, from the overnight peacefulness of the property, to the straightforward (yet surprisingly comfortable) rooms, and finally to the awesome 24 hour city-fied donut shop nearly adjacent the motel. I can't wait to return. Oh — I don't think the room doors automatically lock on close, so don't forget to lock up if you step out.

What a wonderful quaint place to stay! Clean, nice decor, friendly staff. And, oh my, comfortable bed!

This is a quaint motel set up as 2-unit bungalows. (There is no ajoining door in the bungalow I stayed in. ) It's a quick walk to the historic downtown area, and it's close to the 101 highway. The shower is a tiny corner unit, with low pressure, but the water is good and hot. Our unit has a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The bed was comfortable, and the place was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Really cute spot with character. Same price as the motel 6 but much more cozy and unique. Really nice staff and close to downtown.

Best motel on our whole trip. The rooms are very clean and equipped with a lot of lovely details. Also the staff is very friendly and warmly welcomed us late at night. For this great price I really recommend this motel.

Tracey, the manager, was tremendously kind! She was a wonderful resource for things to do in the area. My room was clean and cool with a coffee maker, mini fridge and a microwave. The nicest touch was the animal towels placed on my bed daily, like you see on cruise ships cruise ships. I enjoyed sitting out on the community patio, or the convenient little porch outside of each room.

Great place… I was greeted by a Lady named Tracy who I believe is the owner. Very sweet and professional. Gave me tons of info for local places to visit. Rooms were clean and parking was next to the room. Easy after a long day of driving. Highly recommend it.

It's a great motel! A great place to stay, everything is clean, comfortable, equipped. Nearby shop with booze and ready-made food, cafes. Be quiet.

An In left almost like it was in the sixties, when 101 went through​ town. Tiny but usable pool and very close to the all new playground. The owners parents build the place and he managed to not mess up he says.

Cute hotel centrally located in Paso Robles. Parking is tight, rooms are good sized and clean. Frig and microwave in room is nice. You have a little porch outside that you can sit at in the evenings…

This place is great for a stop in Paso Robles. Close enough to easily walk downtown and parking available if you drive. Room was comfortable and clean, I loved the retro blue tiles in our shower. The front desk were helpful and friendly in checking us in. Would stay there again if I ever passed through Paso Robles again, which is unlikely to be the case as the wine is mostly mediocre and overpriced and food options for vegetarians were bizarrely lacking in some of the nicer downtown restaurants.

Super clean, really well maintained, extremely friendly staff. They show an astonishing attention to detail for a budget motel. I've travelling around US for 3 years and this is by far the best place I've been and for less than a half of other motels/hotels. First time I've been moved to write a review.

Such a quaint little motel. We always stay here, its super convenient to downtown and wine county. Tracy is so sweet and helpful, with lots of "local knowledge" and tips. Rooms are small but clean. Microwave and mini fridge is available, sometimes a small kitchen space. Cleaning crew us really friendly too. The Farmhouse Motel has a beautifully landscaped garden, with little sitting spaces to enjoy the sunsets and your days purchases of wine. Love this place!

We loved our stay at the farmhouse motel. It's very charming and quaint. On the smaller side but thats easy to overlook. Staff very friendly. A small patio to open that bottle of wine you purchased and enjoy the sunset.

I stopped by to hang out with some friends who were staying here. The room was decent by the bathroom, and especially the shower, was very tiny. We spent most of our time in the courtyard area. It was very relaxing in the evening to just sit there and talk.

Clean & cheap if all you need is a place to crash. The teeniest shower you've ever seen though!

Last week we stayed 2 nights @ Farmhouse Motel in Paso Robles. There are a few things they should change: 1. The water in the bathroom came out of the faucets in dribbles and bursts — strange. 2. The water in the bathroom came out of the faucets hot, then cold not much that was just warm. 3. The shower is so small that it's difficult to use. Impossible to shave legs for example. 4. The pillows are hard foam — headache producing. They were very nice to us and even loaned us some old towels to dry our motorcycles. But, sorry, I wouldn't stay there again.

Kevin was very friendly and helpful and was enthusiastic about getting my electric car charge. My only concern was the ground on the kitchen sink outlet wasn't functional. (Couldn't use it to charge my electric car, but).

I am writing this while here on my night's stay so I don't forget. I'm on the road for a month every day on a bicycle. This is a nice place. Clean and comfortable. Not dark with skanky carpets. The Mrs. Innkeeper was very helpful and nice. The Wi-Fi works very well. The bathroom is small and the shower isn't large but it's all good. A very nice, comfortable place. A change of pace from the Super 8's of the world.

Great stay here at Farmhouse. Came here on a busy weekend so more expensive places were booked and was pleasantly surprised here. Room was large and clean and comfortable. Easy walk to town square. Super friendly staff and ownership. Would 100% stay again if in Paso.

Beware of Discrimination At This Motel.

Cycling from SF to LA through the coastal mountains brought us through Paso for a night and we stayed with Kevin and Rebecca. They are WONDERFUL! This is a great place to stay; quiet, clean, and easy walking distance to town center. Kevin has been a cyclist so he understands the drill. Arrive, shower, recovery drink, walk to nice dinner, collapse and sleep, arise, big breakfast then back on the road. The Farmhouse was the best fit of our trip this tour and the hospitality provided by Kevin and Rebecca unparalleled. Thanks guys for making our stay with you very comfortable and relaxing.
