What a fantastic and fun hotel built on TWO hot springs! The owners decorated most of the property with beautiful furnishings and decorations they picked up on their trips to Morocco. The vibe is relaxing and serene, the rooms are super cute and the beds are comfy. The hot spring whirlpool and pool are open 24 hours! Breakfast is provided as well.
My wife is already planning out next trip here, a long weekend so we can also get massages. I really can’t recommend this place enough! A+

The massage was wonderful! It’s too hot to sit in the jacuzzis and there is no air circulation where they are.

We spent a wonderful day at the spa. The Morrocco Inn is like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. The staff is attentive and inviting. Our massage was out of this world. We are so relaxed and ready to go back into the every day jungle.

OMG, I can't rave enough about how amazing El Morocco Inn was to our group. They were flexible, accommodating and provided amazing spa services. Two thumbs up, I will be back to stay next time!

Came here with some friends for a bachelorette party day spa and massages excursion. The Inn is in a residential looking neighborhood so it took us a minute to find it, but it was well worth it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a covered indoor mineral water hot tub and a slightly cooler outdoor pool. There were infared steam rooms, places to lounge, complementary tea, coffee, and snacks. We all had different massages and they were wonderful. The only mild inconvenience was that there were some renovations happening to make everything ADA accessible so the bathrooms were a bit torn up. It should be great once they're finished! We didn't stay at the hotel so can't comment on that. Would definitely visit again!

Visited as part of a bachelorette party — amenities were lovely and we all agreed that the massages were some of the best we've ever had. I highly recommend visiting.

I wanted to feel like I had flown away to an exotic place… And choose El Morocco Inn based on a friend's recommendation. It was BEYOND what I even expected! The rooms are superb, clean, well-decorated and packed with immenities. The breakfast is excellent and French roast coffee you make yourself. The facial was the best I've ever had. I would give it 10 stars if I could. If you are looking for a relaxing or romantic get away… Choose this hotel. We will be back soon!

I've been here several times and each time is a wonderful new experience. It's peaceful and relaxing atmosphere allows stress to melt away. The owners and staff are attentive and amenities are nice. The mineral springs and water are worth it. Breakfast, happy hour and nightcap are all complementary. I will ALWAYS recommend this place with the highest praise.

We loved staying at El Morocco! It was the perfect place to rest up after a fun but tiring trip through Joshua Tree, and the hot pools felt so nice. The staff was very accommodating, and we appreciated the free cookies, sherry (! ) and delicious Humphrey Bogarts (lemonade x mint tea). Easy walking to restaurants and a great massage. Plus incredibly soft sheets!

Staff is excellent from check-in to check-out. They are friendly and alway at your service but never in your way. (They just appear when you want something! ) A wonderful place for rest and relaxation. Meditation garden is exceptional. Spring fed pool and spa are sparkling and offer the healing waters the area is known for. Spa services can’t be missed. Whatever spa treatment you have will be beyond luxurious with exotic oils and atmosphere. Overall, you will feel as though you have been transported to Morocco the moment you arrive and you will not want to leave.

Our stay here was amazing! The whole place is a stress free oasis where you can enjoy French pressed coffee and fresh dates anytime. The heated pools are prefect especially after a massage session. We wanted a quick escape from city life and got all that plus more here.

We will be returning for our 4 th year in 2 weeks time. We cannot wait. The Staff are so obliging and Bruce the owner is extra special. It is the most charming, relaxing place one could hope to find. The peaceful surroundings make one escape from the hustle and bustle of life. I tell everyone I know about this wonderful treasure in DHS.

El Morocco is such a little gem in the desert! We came for massages and got to enjoy the fabulous heated mineral water pool, jet spa, and infrared sauna. Ozzy at the front desk greeted us warmly, and Ginger and Concepcion gave us awesome treatments. So relaxing and definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

This is my favorite place to stay in the desert. The staff are so nice and helpful and the vibe is welcoming and relaxing. The pool and spa are exquisite, especially on a hot, windy night. It is a romantic enclave that transports you to Morocco. You will not want to leave.

I went to apply for a job here and the out side was cute and the atmosphere was very peace full the staff was very nice and knew what the wanted as far as an employee what I saw of this place was quiet clean and very peace full and would recommend checking it out even tho I wasn't hired it was nice.

It was peaceful. When I pulled up it looked a little wonky but once youre in its beautiful.

All around great experience. The hot tub and pool are very refreshing and the staff is helpful and friendly. It felt like home however the mattress could have been more firm.

It was amazing we late arriving and Ozzie a hotel employee called us to see if everything was ok. Checking in and the tour he gave us made us feel so welcome. Still here and just enjoying peace and serenity of this beautiful inn.

The pool area, spa and room design are all fabulous; the Moroccan design is beautifully done. Some significant drawbacks: the A/C is NOISY, shower heads are mounted too low for tall people, and the king bed (rm 107) is actually two single mattresses, so if you're alone you tend to roll into the gap. The place is only staffed 8am-7pm, which has the advantage of feeling more exclusive after hours but also a tad inconvenient if you need something which is not an "emergency"

Guest should not be allowed to soak in street clothes. Not sanitary. Otherwise fabulous experience. Be back.

I absolutely love this spa. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Since​ the inn is so small it is really peaceful.

Peaceful and quiet … lovely place to just relax and be still. Tho not a first rate resort, the staff, attention to small details, healthy breakfast and snacks, great helpful staff and terrific massage therapists make this a very special place.
Easy to connect with other guests or just "be".
Nice simple happy hour brings guests together or space to be alone. A special place indeed.
Only suggestion is more comfortable mattress…

A very relaxing place, normally we spend a lot of time out when in the area… we didn't want to leave this place.

This is the best place on earth next to being there. Great spa and pool. Massages, great rooms and wonderful staff. Our second visit with more to come.

Very quaint, well decorated and clean. The most friendly staff of any hotel I've stayed at across the nation. Only has one "hot spring" pool, but very nice.

Me & the hubs celebrated my 60th birthday & it was just perfect. It's a small boutique spot — only 12 rooms — and it looks & feels & smells like what one imagines Morocco might be like. The movie Casablanca runs on a loop on the TV in a lovely common room with a roaring fireplace and a bottle of delicious cream sherry late at night. The hot water is truly magical. The hot pool is covered just in case you're there during the two days of desert winter. It's 114 degrees and did …I say, magical? Afterwards we baked in the adorable two-person infrared sauna which makes everything feel great. Bring your own anything food and drink-wise. Plus they put out dates & fruit & delicious cookies. Breakfast is also perfect. I love the French press coffee makers and ground coffee to make it. Gorgeous rooms; ours had a round bed! Every detail is careful, every corner is clean. Had delicious sushi, 10 miles to a lovely casino, back to soak in luscious hot mineral water. We'll definitely be back!

Went for a Morrocan Melting Massage and the masseuse Dana was fantastic, they should call it the mind melting massage. The mineral water spa was great as well.

I had a very short stay but what a great place. My room was beautifully decorated, overlooking the pool. Next time I will really try to stay for a couple of days and relax in the spa.

My daughter and I wanted to spend the day together in the sun and to get a massage. So I made up reservations for spa treatments. I drove up to the Spa Hotel and it looked like it has been there for too many years and no one ever wanted to fix it up. We checked in and walked to a different hotel for the spa treatments. Not a big deal, but staff was not very friendly. Had a descent massage and facial. Went back to get some sun at the Spa Hotel. Had a few different pools and even poolside service. Seemed ok at first then it went downhill. Ordered one drink and then didn't see her again until I had to find her to pay my bill two hours later. She told me how understaffed they were and she was busy doing other things. Not my problem. As I am getting some sun, there was some homeless man in the pool area talking to himself and staring at people. I was very concerned at this point. He goes into the men's locker room and comes out a little later all showered. I guess they let anyone in for a shower. Then I see a staff member walking this very elderly lady and her husband her are two sheets to the wind. Really? mr. Bartender. Cut them off at some certain point. This is NOT a place to go with kids or actually anyone else for that matter. It was a dirty, old, disgusting place to spend the day. As people were checking into the hotel I really wanted to tell them to turn around and walk away! NEVER EVER AGAIN will I visit this place again. Gross.

Always clean Always great food and drinks Pools always sparkling and clean The crowd gets a little bit loud in the lounge but everyone is having a good time. So reasonable. Spa amenities very reasonably priced as well andservices are professional.

It is an older place that is a bit run down but, it is the most fun and convenient place to stay around here. The live music Sunday is the main reason we came here. The spring water is at the other local hotels but, this hotel also has a good coffee shop and bar. It's still our favorite all around place out here.

I checked in here to kill a couple of hours between when I had to check out of the VRBO that I was staying at and when my flight home left. The staff was very nice during the few interactions that I had with them. The place was an absolute dump, though. The doors to the rooms are accessed on a balcony type walkway that wraps around the hotel. I was quite scared walking on it. There was an odor of ammonia throughout everything. I don't know if it was coming from improperly balanced pools or urine, but it was unpleasant. I wouldn't sleep at this hotel.

Perfectly stuck in the 60s. Great place for a bunch of gross climbers to rest our muscles and put down a couple beers. Not a place for luxury, but if you take it for a novelty it's a pretty amusing stop. Very relaxing too as long as you don't look at anything too closely!

This place is perfection. Because I don't think anyone would sit thru to read ALL the reasons we love this place I'll just name a few (but there's more! ). Its a place clearly built with love and passion. It's an anti-corporate resort with an abundance of details in every corner to evoke that feeling that you're off in Morraco. The staff is the best I've ever experienced. From the moment you book your room they start giving you incredibly personally costumer service.
And the Inn gives you so much bang for your buck! From cocktails to bocce ball, everything is included and for you to enjoy anytime.
I will be coming back again and again.

This boutique Inn is a real find in the midst of Desert Hot Springs, I almost don't want to give it away! The décor is so over the top Moroccan that it works really well to transport you away. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing from the 87 degree pool water to the 104 degree covered spa room. Complimentary breakfast beautifully done and more than enough to get you going for the day. Be back in time for poolside "Morocco-tinis" at cocktail hour, a rosewater hand washing ritual, and Spanish Cream Sherry nightcap. Stephanie and the rest of the staff were exceptional. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful service. Very romantic. Celebrated my anniversary there. Very peaceful and the mineral water will soak all your cares away. The staff is amazing. Florence, Stephanie and Mary were the best and took very good care of us. Plan to come back :)

El Morocco Inn is pleasantly quaint, relaxing, and has an exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. You can't buy anything there — drinks, snacks, movies, and evening libation are all free. The only thing you can buy is the spa services. The room we stayed in was rustic yet clean and delightful. The hot spring pool and jacuzzi tub were quite nice. Not sure I get the whole "hot spring" deal but it was good. The only single blemish was that the spa service did not live up to the spa menu or the quality of the Inn and staff itself. Maybe my expectations were too high but my Thai massage seemed more like some other type of massage, I know it wasn't Thai, that's for sure.

Excellent everything (customer service, accomodations, spa services)! Don't be fooled by the location or by what you may know about the area. This place is truly an oasis in the area. Once you step inside the door, you'll be hard pressed to leave… ever.

I should start off by saying I NEVER write reviews for anywhere. This place blew my mind away. Bruce and staff were amazing. A perfect place to get away from everything and relax. The simple things like complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea, to a HUGE DVD movie selection made the stay all the more pleasant. The 24 hour pool and jacuzzi was also awesome as most hotels close their pools after 9pm. Overall id have to say the best hotel experience I have ever had!
