Review of Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Ontario at Ontario Mills, CA 3*

Excellent choice for a mid range hotel in the Ontario area. The hotel staff were gracious and went out of their way to accommodate every request, including a late checkout. The complimentary breakfast was available for extended hours on the weekend, enabling people to sleep in if desired. A wide selection of hot and cold foods, pastries, and fresh fruit were offered. The room itself was clean on arrival, and regularly cleaned and refreshed during our four night stay. My only complaint was the initial impression given by their airport shuttle scheduling and driver. I called the night before to request the shuttle service for the next day and had flight details handy, but as soon as the gentleman answering the phone realized I wasn't at the airport that moment he became very disinterested and less than helpful. I had to prompt him to ask for arrival time and flight number. Fast forward to the next day, no surprise, the shuttle was nowhere to be seen when we landed. I called again to request it and was informed it was on its way, but no ETA was offered and she didn't even request a contact number. Long story short, we ended up waiting over half an hour for a shuttle with no further contact from the hotel. The drive back to the hotel was scary — the driver broke half a dozen traffic laws — but then, it is California. In summary, very comfortable place to stay; breakfast, housekeeping, staff interaction, and pool/hot tub cleanliness were excellent. Shuttle service, especially communication, could be improved.
