Has it where it counts. For the price, it's a good place to stay. Definitely recommend the breakfast! Mmm! When we arrived, the building looked beautful and promising with clean stucco walls, along with its amazing view. I didnt see the rooms until we came back to the hotel later that night. Once we drove up, my expectations of the room dropped as I noticed the parking lot was about 1/3 full. With how many other inns in the area, this did not make me feel very good. Once we got inside, I immediately noticed the indoor pool on the right had a very nice presentation with beautiful trimming, walls, and open windows to the outside. The walls overall in the building looked newer than the exterior. Overall, better than I expected. The rooms were well-presented, but won't impress you like some nicer hotels. The TV was a 32 inch HD flatscreen surprisingly, the layout was roomy and well-designed, and the floors felt good on your feet. However, then we noticed the problems: The bathrooms had caulk that was peeling a good bit around the tub, and the toilet made an awful high-pitched hissing sound (almost squeeling) as it flushed that was loud enough to make me worry about waking our companions asleep next-door. Not only that, but when I plugged in 3 devices into the 2-plug lamp on the bedside (which was using one plug on the wall) using a USB splitter for one of my devices, the alarm, which was plugged into the other port on the wall, started making irritated power noise, indicating that there was an electrical problem with either the lamp mount or the wiring in the building, either of which was not making me feel comfortable charging my devices there. I unplugged the alarm, and used my phone for my alarm. The last major issue we dealt with was the bathroom door would lock upon closing the door if you didn't force the rickety lock slightly to the left before closing. It was locked when we arrived, and upon calling the room service, they didn't come up until we called again 15 minutes later. The manager came up and apologized for being caught by a hassle of a customer along the way, which we appreciated. Despite all of these bad comments, the breakfast was amazing and way more than enough to convince me to stay. I knew immediately upon entering the double-doored lounge that I was going to enjoy a meal of self-cooked waffles, nummy eggs, and perfectly-cooked bacon among other aromas, which turned out to be blueberry waffle batter, beans and tortillas for breakfast burritos (the containers which held the food steamed gloriously as you opened them and were forced to take in the heavenly aromas), fresh donuts bagels and muffins, cereal and milk for the kids, a drink machine filled with juices in which I immediately and only noticed the pulpy orange juice underneath one of the nozzles, knowing that I had struck legit gold for OJ (and oh, did it taste good), and ofc coffee and hot tea which I did not have a chance to try out. Overall an OK experience. The presentation could use a bit of work, and the exterior could use a makeover, but you get what you pay for and you do get more than that with this place.
