The front desk clerk was absolutely the best. She took the time to make sure all our needs were met. It was a good stay!

It's right there down two blocks from the Monterey Airport. At night time Highway 68 is very quiet, the rooms are very spacious and quite quaint. And they have a very delicious hot breakfast in the morning. Also free Wi-Fi. Also the the king bed rooms have fireplaces in them which is very romantic. They do have a heater provided in the rooms but also a fan if you would like to circulate air in your room because they do not have air conditioning, fortunately the weather there does not get that hot enough to need it. But they did indicate that they will provide them in the near future.

The best: very impressive continental breakfast. Sausage, ham, eggs (boiled or pattie) bagels, English muffin, cereal, nuts, granola, oatmeal, pastries, two kinds of make your own waffles, pretty darned decent coffee, juices, yogurt, fruit, peanut butter, various condiments and spreads. I'm sure I forgot something! They keep it clean and replenished. Also, rooms are very clean and spacious. Nice grounds. The worst: Thin walls. Get a spot upstairs at the end to minimize hearing noisy neighbors. Pricey for a budget place but was the cheapest we could find beside a Motel 6

I had been to other local Comfort Inn hotels before, but this was my first time visiting this particular Comfort Inn. I stayed here during Mothers Day weekend. Kind of easy to miss of you're going down the highway because of all the trees around the building. Check in was quick and easy, we had an upstairs room with a view facing the mountains. The room was very spacious and well decorated, not overwhelming or dull at all. The colors go together nice and really set the mood. The whole set up of the suite was overall beautiful, and felt very homey. I would definitely come back again for a nice get away. The only heads up is this particular Comfort Inn doesn't have a pool.

Great area, beautiful area especially for being next to airport. Rooms are big smile with a balcony, could have better TV tho. Only down side was that they were repaving the street all night and there are not very many stores near by for quick late night trips.

Very nice inn located close to town. Located amongst beautiful pine trees. Huge rooms that have been updated with a modern design. Very clean and quiet. Highly recommended.

Our stay was great. The area was beautiful, kind of set up in my the mountains with trees everywhere. The employees were kind and friendly. The room was very clean and neat. There are 3 reasons why I didn’t give it a 5 star. Number one is that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. The room I had was on the upper floor so it was much warmer than the first floor. You had a big box fan and we could open the windows. Not everyone can fall asleep to the noise of a fan or being uncomfortable with having a window open due to safety concerns. Number two was that you offered breakfast but no where to sit and eat it. Your dining area had very limited space to sit so we had to eat at our car. Third was that there was no coffee packets in our room so that we could make our first morning cup of coffee.

Surprisingly nice location close to airport. I stayed here for a business trip and didn't expect much but was very surprised. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The location was well kept and had plenty of parking. Free breakfast in the morning was a plus. I will be going back again soon.

Very quiet. Quick overnight. Close to airport and quick easy drive into town.

Our hotel room was larger than most hotel rooms we have stayed in, and it was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was huge, hotel room with huge and spacious and there was even a deck to sit out on and enjoy of you. The price was also excellent. We stay at a lot of hotels, and this one definitely left us impressed. We would definitely stay here again. The room we got for the price was absolutely beautiful. Some might complain that the carpeting and other things are a little bit older, but honestly that's a minor complaint. You'd be hard-pressed to find a nicer Comfort Inn with larger rooms.

Clean, wide, reasonable price.

It was a good deal for the money. But just be aware: there is no air conditioning. Our room faced south and was like 85 degrees the first night. It was hard to sleep, even with the fan they gave us.

Nice big clean living rooms with good service and suitable price. Also provide free Wi-fi is good for business men.

Clean rooms near Jack's Peak… my week of stay at the inn was nice.

Just updated to 3 stars in all areas of creature comforts. Once the bath fixtures are completed then it'll be the top 1% to stay.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was huge and very clean. You can tell the room had just been renovated and smelled wonderful. The property is very woodsy which was beautiful. We stayed in room 108 and the only complaint is that the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors and the people above you. My husband and I will definitely be staying again!

The company that I work for we travel a lot stay in a lot of hotels. This hotel rooms were clean and bigger than most hotels rooms because it is out of town a little very quiet we work at night work very well for us. Breakfast in the morning was not best I ever but work well for us. The young lady who handles the breakfast is very nice and very helpful. Would be very happy to stay here again.

No air-conditioning. We stayed at an odd hot spell don't think this would be a problem most of the year.

Rooms were big, clean and close to Monterey attractions. Nice quiet area even though it was close to airport. We didn't even hear any planes. I booked our room through priceline for $104.00 and tried to stay another night for the same price but no luck. I would return.

Ok place. Not much for comfort as the name says. Bed hurts your back. No ac and hairs on bed upon arrival. No feeezer in fridge. Front desk staff not too nice. Overpriced.

Very warm welcome at reception. The staff are excellent. The room was quiet, clean and spacious. Pretty landscaping. If they added a pool or fitness room it would really help.

Very comfortable rooms and extremely pleasant staff. The King room is very spacious and ours even had a fireplace. Everything was clean and our experience was wonderful. We will definitely be staying again.

Good deal in Monterey. We visit all the time and for the price this is the best deal in town. Its a family run hotel and the free breakfast buffet is a plus. It is near the airport but takes less than 5 minutes to get to downtown.

Great hotel. Due to the nature of my business I have stayed in hotels all over California extensively for the last 7 months. This was one of the largest and best appointed rooms I've encountered. Fireplace, great bed, separate dressing and bath areas, large flat panel mounted on the oak panels above fireplace, large balcony with chairs to sit out on and work. The hotel is about a mile and a half from Monterey.
