Service was lot better from previous experience, at Mantecas Motel6. People more friendly Here at This location. Only one time the room was not ready. But understood that because the cleaning lady had to many rooms. To clean. And few hrs to have them done in time. At the guest service Cristin was very friendly and always making sure that my staying was pleased.

We arrived after 3pm, and are room was not ready. Told house keeping was short handed, and are room would be ready any minute, but give them twenty minutes. I called them about ten minutes later. The clerk said they had a room ready up stairs. I said I prefer a down stairs, but up stairs would work. When I got back the clerk said they have a down stair room that was ready. I got key cards for room 231. I asked if that was on the second floor. No that is on the first floor. No it was on the second floor, but the key card didn't work. So I went back to the office, and ask if that was the correct room. They did not look to see what room they put us in. They just rekey the cards. My wife opened the door to the room. The room was unclean; bed was unmade and had blood on it. My wife talked to them in the office. The manger come in and said that room 231 was not clean, and should never been issued out. The manger start talking about giving us a free room, but that didn't happen. We where put in room 132 with 2 double beds. When we made reservations we requested a king bed. We just took the room, because it was getting late. We had a cat with us that we need to get in a room, and we had other places to be. noise most of the night. People outside are room most of the night, and someone left the TV on all night. We didn't he freeway noise, but heard very other noise.

It was not to my Satisfaction. We didn't have any towels or toliet paper also I Saw Roaches in the room the TV wouldn't work my stay was just horrible. My husband and I are both elderly there were no accommodation nothing I would not recommend anyone to stay at Motel 6.

I loved the room the way it looked was alot nicer than I expected, but my biggest problem about the room is once I pulled the sheets back there was hair everywhere little ones big ones like if the sheets never got wash I would of told the front desk but it was really late when I got in and I was in a rush out the door in the morning and they had customers in the office so I just dropped off key and Left with some fresh cup of coffee from the office which was very nice but I didn't get the chance to let them know about the sheets, but good thing I had a blanket and pillow from home so I just used them. I would come again but I would definitely check my sheets once I arrive and ask for fresh ones if needed.

My fiance and I have been traveling for her job, we stay at Motel 6 all the time. I am recovering from a surgery and have another scheduled, so we usually ask for a 1st floor. Well with my phone and fat fingers something went wrong and there wasn't a 1st floor room, so we took what was available and I was a little confused and upset. After having a talk with the General manager and the receptionist everything was handled with little hassle. We may not enjoy everyone at this location, but who really cares about that. Everyone here is good at at their jobs and the awesome staff like Jessica, Tamara, Lenney (shout out those are the names I remember. And I want to say it again and again, but thank you for being understanding and kind. People like this make me feel better it's hard to find someone like these individuals that work at the Motel 6 1920 W Orangeburg Modesto CA.

I give this location a 5 is because of the manager. Johnny was awesome, we we're coming in from LA for a funeral and arriving very early that morning. I called the night before to see if we could possibly check in early because of our situation… Johnny ok'd our early check in, made sure that the day manager was aware of our arrival and also called and checked on us that evening to make sure everything went okay with check in. Awesome guy and truly appreciated!

Nice enough clean rooms. The cleaning ladies were awesome. As well as the front desk staff. Would've given 5 stars but I was overcharged $44, but as soon as I brought it to their attention, good thing I looked at my receipt and bank statement, it was quickly corrected. So all around it was a good experience.

On this trip I stayed at 3 different Motel 6 and one of them 2 nights. The first 2 was a very nice experience. This one in Modesto was horable. The people at the check in were fine but everything else was terrible. The room was not very clean. Hairs in the bathroom on the floor is unclean to me. The beds were comfortable but we got very little sleep due to people parting most of the night. People were smoking pot right outside our door and drug deals going on. We felt very unsafe and would never recommend staying there unless you're interested in drug deals.

I'm from N. Ca and the derelicts and party people hang out at Motel Six We like the pet policy and we stay with you when we travel! Maybe the rules say you have to rent a room to anyone the has an Id an a credit card? But the Modesto store overall took good care of us and got us a safe good room but they need to keep the riff raft out of there. I have no idea how you do this? We stayed in Monterey and really enjoyed our stay! So we keep going with you. No changes planed but won't stay with you in Modesto!

The room was nicely redone, but the floors were very dirty. The second night we stayed it was cleaned better than the first night. I really didn't like that the lock on our door messed up and locked us out and we had to get the key fixed. But overall it was OK.

This location was great right off the freeway. The front desk staff was very courteous. The rooms were clean I think the floors could have been mopped instead of just like dry Swiffer because they were a little dirty but other than that I had a great experience.

We were there for my husband. He was having surgery the next day at Memorial Hospital. The heated didn't heat up. The vent was hanging off the wall. He need to take a bath and couldn't because the water won't take in the tub. But he staff was wonderful!

Front desk was very nice upon check in. But that's all I can say in favor. Must be a druggie hangout here. Cars driving in and stopping then leaving again multiple times. Two of them haven't had mufflers, which is why they woke me up. Guys in room next door have driven away and come back 5-6 times between midnight and 4 am, beeping their car and talking loudly every time they leave and return. Would love to get a good night's sleep, but too late for that now. NEVER staying at this property again.

I travel with my two little dogs show I rarely ask for maid service. I just get quick clean linen and towels as I need daily. I have problems with my left foot and knee so I always ask for a downstairs floor with easy access, which they graciously obliged. My second request would be a room with a bathtub and last, and least important, was a smoking room. They were able to accommodate me on all three requests at this location and me and my two little dogs I very happy and although I don't smoke very much I'm driving I don't have to go stand out in the cold weather when I have my smoke. In addition to my accommodations management and staff have all been very nice! I would definitely recommend this location to friends.

The location for this hotel seems great. But the noise from the traffic off the freeway is loud and gets inside the room. The room was clean for the most part. The tub had burn marks from possibly smoking. (I got a nonsmoking room). The bed sheets had numerous stains of some sort of due to inadequate laundry service. My second pillow had no cover and hairs were visible on it. The bed was sunk in on one side. Guess I got what I paid for. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Non existent customer service I had requested and early check-in. I knew that the normal check in was 3pm, but I requested to check in at 2pm instead. Over the phone I had been assured that this would be no problem; however, when I arrived was very rudely told that check-in is 3pm… no exceptions. I would have been more understanding of the motel was booked solid, but on the day I was there, the parking lot was virtually empty. Furthermore, all of the housekeeping staff was standing around in the office with nothing to do when I attempted to check in. When I finally did get checked in, I was put in a tiny room with horrible freeway noise. The room itself was filthy and even the clean towels had Kool aid stains on them. At least I hope that was Kool aid. And no, I don't have high expectations of motel 6, but do yourself a favor… for them same money they charge here there are half a dozen other hotels within less than half a mile… any of which offer a better experience than this motel. When I left motel 6, I went across the street to comfort inn. For less than what motel 6 charges, I got a clean, comfortable, noise free room, with a free hot breakfast in the morning.

Living conditions would be alright, but there has been 2 car accidents on that parking lot due to the fact that it’s on the corner of a high speed road. Also A police chase ended right next to the motel 6. If you are going to stay here lock your car and I recommend parking further away from the road.

Check in process was good and fast. The room was smoke free but had an ashtray in the room along with cigarette burn on the top comforter sheet. The room curtain was torn in a couple of places. The door jam/frame showed signs of damage from an attempted break in. Stayed 3 nights and on the last night the room was not serviced by the maid. I have a morning meeting with the manager. There have been lots of loud traffic and lots of people that I believe are homeless that wander in and out of the property. I have stayed at a Motel 6 before but I would not recommend this particular property.

We highly recommend Motel 6 in Modesto on Orangeburg Ave. The staff never dissappointed us and we would certainly return. We gladly give them 5 stars. Thank you for making us feel at home during our repeated reservations, while in transition from one location to another, after we sold our house.

Front desk clerk was very friendly, made sure to inform me of location of my room and the closest area to park my car. The room was very clean, well stocked with towels. Bed was very comfortable. Love the location very close to different types of restaurants, easy to find from Hwy 99. Only downfalls was no in room fridge, coffee maker. A breakfast buffet would've made it a perfect stay.

Modesto Orangeburg location. Check in was fast and easy. Non smoking room and it didn't have a odor of ever having cigarette smoke in this room. The flat screen TV was modern and the A/C worked quite good. The only thing the rooms could use is a mini-fridge but otherwise no complaints.

Front Office staff was fantastic. Very friendly, helpful, and apologetic for the complete lack of amenities available at the site. recently told my wife the name of this hotel chain is based on their old nightly price of only $6. I think the mattress on my bed came from those good old days. I slept nonetheless. The room was clean, the TV service good. NO fridge. NO microwave. Bare bones. But for $65 in California what do you expect? Well, honestly, I expected a fridge and microwave. So I had to throw out my hot pockets and put my 1/2 gallon of milk in a sink of ice to keep it till the morning.

I love Motel 6. The prices beat almost everyone in town too. The rooms are always clean and the front desk associates seem to have a real understanding of what we as travelers need. Being in retail management for over 30 years, I've come to look for good customer service, attention to details and I look to the management first. This location must have a good management team as each of the things I look for in a motel are in place. My stay absolutely met my expectations. Thank you. I'll recommend to people I know. A+

I should have known this was not the place for me when I drove up and there was a fire truck and an ambulance with a woman who looked as if she was on something. I asked the front desk agent what happened and she said it was just heat exhaustion. So we decided to check in. HUGE mistake. There was a man in the crowded lobby asking everyone who entered if they had a wine opener. The entire property reeked of urine. There were cigarette burns on the bed cover on both beds. The towels were worn and absorbed nothing. The trash can had no bag. There was no hair dryer or iron. Would have definitely been worth the additional 40.00 more I would have paid to stay at the Springhill Suites across the street. Tried to not give any stars but your site requires me to put 1

Booked last minute for a water polo. My wife was worried about cleanliness and the front desk let her check the room first. Basic Motel 6 but very clean! Also forgot to mention I was military and they were gracious enough to extend their Military discount at check out. Great customer service!

The room was decent and clean. Very good location close to restaurants and stores. Quiet and staff was extremely nice. But I have three stars because I booked a double room but got a single double for my son and I to share. The comforter had cigarette burns. There was no refrigerator and although this is motel 6 I think the prices were a little steep for the room. I paid 180 for two nights but it also was a holiday weekend. If I need something quick and cheap and last minute I would stay again but other than that I would not. Also that is my stuff in these pics.

Iffy clientele. Room tiny but fairly clean. NO MICROWAVE ANYWHERE… No fridge or micro in room is a drag. But not even one in the vending machine room… If You are on a budget maybe you want to heat some food up?! Nope. Not here.

Pro — Friendly and helpful staff. Con — You need to stay upstairs. The room is not very well sealed so bugs tend to get in. It seems people take too much ice at this location. One time the machine ran out of ice. They actually have a sign saying do not use it for the cooler box. I think that's what most people use it for anyway. They need to get a 2nd machine or get one that makes ice faster. They also are short of towels. You may have to go to the office to get some. They say people tend to steal them. It seems they telling the truth because one time, I went to the office and they have a package of new towels. Overall — All Motel 6 got a remodel few years ago so it looks pretty good. They just need to fix how well the room is sealed up. Since it's near the freeway, it tends to be little bit noisy. The best location to be at is away from the office (people come in and out allot) and stay upstairs. I stay in 212 and it was fine.

Motel 6 Orangeburg Modesto, California has such Inviting hospitality and excellent performance when it comes to service & the customers needs, your stay is definitely comfortable, accommodating, and convenient. In my opinion great quality and service with affordability is always a great thing.

I stayed at the hotel because the reviews didn't look to horrible. Needless to say I spent the night in fear of being shanked and watched too cracked out prostitutes arguing with the clerk. Awkward and murdery. Also not clean. Do not ever go to this place everrrrr.

This was a horrible motel. There were bes bugs, called down to the office and they said they could do nothing so I slept at the desk in a chair. Heater was busted. Water didn't get hot, too much was wrong with this motel. Not worth what they charge.

It is placed it will be many stores and you can walk do not need cart. The room have them clean and been re modeled worse than carvings that never changed by the years. I give them 2 stars.

I have seen worse but room 130 is infested with cock roaches I have never been more disgusted to awaken and find a cock roach on my water bottle they are disease spreading insects. I had to throw everything in the room of mine away. So not only do I feel cheated of 71$ I also threw away about 150$ in clothes I don't want your light on for me Motel6

Great place alitle pricey accros the street the rooms are 120 and this one was 85 I mean for a litle more I would have had alot more. But its a great place I would stay again. But the ideal price would b 60 bucks.

I Stayed at motel 6 last night was leveing I was trying to get my dog in the car. And shut the door. An ran off an left it on the bed. Im not stupped im handy cap An my dogs a service dog how are they going to just keep my things my creadit cards was in there along with my money shit I dont know what to do or who to call can some one hellp me please. And dont stay there anyone you leve something its theres thay keep it I need my binder back hellp pleasey.

Worn down. Filthy. Cigarette burns everywhere despite being a non smoking room. Worst Wi-Fi ever, it returned me to the login screen every 5min. Also it costs 3$. Girl at the front desk when checking was very friendly.

This place was the epitome of a run down, classless, hole in the ground operation. The room was filthy. The carpets disgusting and flies all over the place. The bedspreads were full of cigarette burns. Normally, I'd say you get what you pay for but we didn't even get what we paid for. We had to pay for wireless which wasn't even fast enough to play video. We had to stay for 3 nights and had to get our room card charged every day. No coffee maker, fridge, or microwave. TV remote didn't work. Dog poop all over outside. Police drove through the parking lot every hour. An RV being lived in across from our room with staked out pitbulls barking all the time. We normally stay in Motel 6's because of the costs being lower for how much time we actually stay in the room. This place must be avoided at any cost. The help were friendly but obviously it was management or ownership which didn't care.
