We have stayed here several times. Scott and Madeline (and Kate! ) have been warm and welcoming every time. We had to reschedule a big trip during the pandemic and they were so understanding. We travel with dogs and it’s nice to arrive and find gift baskets welcoming our dogs by name. ❤️ They even asked after a beloved dog who had passed away since our last visit. Due to Covid, happy hour is now held outside with heaters and fire pits. It’s located near the hot tub which is in a secluded glade-like setting. The new happy hour location is wonderful! We highly recommend The Andiron!
So many thoughtful, personal touches and charming decor, all overlooking a beautiful view. Love the little kitchenette and how welcomed my dog was! Appreciated touch less checkin and how clean everything is. Easy location for so many Mendocino attractions.

A perfect North Coast cabin experience. The themed rooms are cozy and thoughtfully
appointed. The hosts were super careful
with Covid safety (3/21 visit), yet made the whole property feel welcoming and inviting. Cocktail hour outdoor under the tent allowed us to meet fellow adventurers, compare take-out dinner options, and meet the cutest kiddos and doggos. The Mendocino coast area has been one of our favorite getaways for 30 years, and this last trip has to be among our favorites.
