Price Gouging during the Kincaid fire… SHAMEFUL!

Chong was yelling at a customer in the lobby while we were in it.

This is a great place to stay on the coast and it's very economical. The host she was very lovely and she was very sweet to all of us. We came in very late at night and she was able to check us into our rooms and even showed us our rooms which were very clean and very well put together. The even offered to open up the hot tub for us so we can relax after a long road trip. We would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity.

Very overpriced for a motel room with a fake fireplace. We had to stay here because literally everywhere else was booked on a holiday weekend and I promised the family a weekend in Fort Bragg. I can now see why it was the only place no one was going to. Then my little guy got sick so we needed to check out, and we find out it was a two-night minimum. She still charged me for a second night because she "probably wouldn't be able to sell the room" for that price (on a busy holiday weekend? I wonder why…). The bed mattress and the water were amazing, to be fair, but all-in-all just a bad experience for us, a very costly mistake.

I loved this place. Dont judge a book by its cover. At first I was skeptical because the building is on the older side. But once u get a closer look the place it is meticulously clean and well kept. The rooms are cute with alot of nice homey touches. And the bed was so comfortable. The owner Chong is super hardworking and takes alot of pride in her hotel. We stayed for three nights and got to observe the staff and the maids are so nice and do not cut corners doing their job. On our last night my poor hubby got food poisoning from a nasty seafood restaurant we ate on the wharf area. He was sick all night and by check out time he was not fit to travel. The hotel was so kind and let us stay a while past check out until hubs started to feel better. I thought that was so kind and caring. They also have a barbecue grill and picnic area, we used it one night and had a great time. I would recommend this place and would definitely like to make a return visit in the future.

Nice place. Hospitality was fair as it is basically two businesses in the office. I believe it was herbal teas and soaps ect. Lots of green lights around the building and trees. Beds we had we're queen and so comfy. Had microwave, hair dryer, refrigerator and coffee maker. There's a pool and maybe hot tub. Didn't get good look as it was late.

I have been going to Coast Inn and Spa for years now and I love it! The rooms are very peaceful, clean, super comfortable beds and great linen! The water is FANTASTIC! SERIOUSLY! Amazing massage therapist and spa services. I enjoy the hot tub, fire pit and the lovely garden! Good kind service always! I will continue to go back to Coast Spa. Namaste. =)

Service is great. Spa room was on point. Beds are 3 layers of natural foam. Slept amazing.

Let me preface by saying I paid alot to stay here. So I was absolutely unhappy when I experienced ants (alot), loud fridge humming noise all night, the outside lights (horrible neon sign) through the curtains. This was through airbnb. I kick myself for not doing some research. I've had better experiences at Travelodge and motel! Pay less or find someplace else. Anywhere else.

Love, love, love this quaint hotel! Proprietor was more than kind and great to talk with. Room was fantastic from the heating tile flooring to the enormous rain forest shower! Will definitely be back!

This is our favorite places to stay in Fortbragg. I recommend this Motel. Chong, is very accommodating. We will be coming back to visit again. Kim, and Steve Auburn, CA.

Nice location and friendly service. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because when I was in the shower the room next door must have turned their shower on and the water went frigid. No loss of pressure and I was able to balance it out again, but it was a shock. Overall not much of an issue and I would reccomend :)

I like what they have done with the place. Rooms are very clean, internet was fast, tap water was filtered which is a huge plus in my book, noise level was very low. Bed was a bit too soft for my liking, hot water can take awhile to get going. Didn't get a chance to try the hot tub but it did look inviting.

The minute I walked into the office I knew it was special. Not commercial, not fancy, but calming and welcoming. The owner went out of her way to make sure my friends and I were comfortable and had a room that met our needs. Our room was very clean, had big cozy beds, nice hardwood floors and the shower was awesome! My spa treatment included one of the best massages I have had… and I do love a good massage! All in all my weekend getaway with cherished friends was amazing. Thank you!

We feel like this place priced gouged us since the demand for a room was very high because of the fires in Santa Rosa and surrounding area's. Also the refrigerator was not plugged in, they said they just cleaned the refrigerator that very day… but when we opened the door it had a very foul odor. The floor was so dirty that our feet were black. They have wood floors! The nightstand had not even been wiped off. Very disappointed to the point that we were so ready to get out of there. Felt very dirty/disgusting. We will never stay at this place again and would not recommend this place to anyone!

Perfect little Inn &Spa. Room was very clean! Love the updated rustic decor and the fireplace & spa tub! Very serene setting. Fire pit and BBQ area was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the beautiful weather! Staff is amazing and friendly. Greeted every morning as well as throughout the day. The owner/manager is an absolute doll! Would absolutely stay again! Thank you so much for making our stay in Fort Bragg perfectly amazing!

For the price, it wasn't terrible. But we should've gone just a few more hours to crescent City. The rooms had a musty smell, the towels and sheets were bleach stained. Just a little work and this place could be nicer. The garden and picnic area is super cute.

We were very pleased! Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, pet friendly, and we enjoyed the outdoor BBQ/ fire pit area. We would definitely recommend and return.

Unique place with lots of extras, notably the eminently helpful owner who could not be more accommodating and friendly. Hot tub is great. Onsite organic restaurant. Lovely natural toiletries and very clean room with good energy. Outdoor picnic area with firepit and BBQ is a bonus too. Great find with character and that bit more at a good price.

This is the cozier little hotel right in the coast. The owners are super sweet and accommodating. My room was extremely clean, bathroom is huge, and the beds are firm but very comfortable.

I wish I could give more stars! super clean, big beautiful room, the owner was an absolute delight, friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back.

The king tub room is amazing. Good size room, nice hot tub in the living room with a fireplace and view of the ocean. Helpful service and a good breakfast buffet.

Been coming here for 10 years and always a great experience. Love that they offer dog-friendly rooms as well.

Overall it's a nice place. There are a few markdowns is why I gave it 3 stars. Our shower head leaked and had a harsh spray. We saw a few dead ants (3) in our room. The Wi-Fi was out but I don't hold that against the inn. It was out of their control. Overall the rooms were clean except for what I noted before. The lady at the desk was super nice and friendly. The room was nice and the king bed was a little soft for me but good overall. The jetted tub was also nice. I will probably come back again. It was a nice getaway for me and my wife.

The harbor and ocean views are breathtaking and the rooms are furnished well. We stay on the top floor so there's a couple flights of stairs, no elevators. The beds are super soft and the in-room jet tub next to the fireplace overlooking the ocean is one of my favorite things about the room we stay in. My boyfriend and I have gone a couple times and will be returning. The staff is friendly but not bothersome. Can rarely hear guests in the next room unless they're on the balcony. Love everything about North Cliff.

Not impressed the price is expensive and the whole place needs a remodel for those rates. About half would be fair. A dump no breakfast, terrible heat/ac toilet was wobbly and in way of door. Shower was not hot, low pressure and leaked sprayed out the shower head everywhere. Spa is never ending on repair I guess.

Price gouging. Again. Tried to sell us a foam mattress on floor for 275$ or bring Your own bed for 175$. Last room for hours. Couldn't believe it was reallife it was so bad. Rather sleep in the car…

Lovely Facility, nice views of Harbor inlet and ocean. Great room with Jacuzzi overlooking ocean and a fireplace. Big flat screen TV, DVD player and lovely bed and linens. Very nice bath with large shower and it was spotless. In room refer, micro oven and safe. Great breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit. Juice and good coffee. Cons — not good for those with mobility problems. No elevator and the lobby is at the top of a hill and breakfast is served on second floor. Not s good plan for the disabled.

The bed stank and was loud and wobbly. The jacuzzi stank like urine and mildew. The sauna wasn't even set up yet. Some guy had his genitals out fighting with his "female compainion" in front of the office at 1 am. The door wouldn't shut unless it was held and locked. Could hear the TV next door. Do yourself a favor pay 50 bucks more and stay somewhere that's not janky.

Spa? Hardly! Sure, our room had a 'spa tub', but it took an hour to fill and warm up. Our room — — although somewhat updated from the 1950s/'60s — — was tacky, chilly, musty, and damp. Bed was lumpy and wobbly. The plastic shower was so narrow that I could barely turn around in it. Pictures on the wall swere faded and all looked like they were purchased at a thrift store. Noisy. Weird. And outrageously expensive. We ended up paying close to $350 for one night (on a Saturday) when the place was barely worth $60. We immediately wanted to leave after checking in, but every other place in town was booked, and we were exhausted from the drive. We couldn't wait to go to sleep so we could get up and leave!

My second time back in the past six months and our stay was just as amazing as the first time! Only about a 10 minute drive from the beach and right on the coast highway near a lot of dining and activities! But still not too loud to not be able to sleep through the night. The stay and customer service is great everytime and keep myself and my partner coming back! We will definitely be back for summer 2016! ☺️☺️☺️

In the advertisement we saw and when we called we asked since it was on Groupon that the rooms with King beds had a king-size tub with jets, and if we could use the jacuzzi. The lady was very polite and the overall atmosphere here was alright. After being questioned a few times if we had pets and after getting the key to the room. Well that wasn't the case, the room we ended up with did not have a king size tub with jets and the jacuzzi was broken. I am not sure if the hotel knows that's false advertisement we didn't use any of the spa or the organic cafe because after the disappointment with the jacuzzi and our room we couldn't and wouldn't spend anymore money in fear of being further disappointed. Honestly we wished after seeing our room that we had just gone elsewhere for what we paid was an over-priced cabin without the amenity I was looking so forward to using. In short if ya want a somewhat friendly service and are looking to go broke come here if not try your luck elsewhere.

This was hands down the most disappointed I have ever been with the service at a hotel. After booking the room online (around 11am) we were called and asked what time we would be arriving and we estimated 4pm. Upon arriving at 4:20pm, we were told that it would be about 5 minutes until we could go into the room because they were installing a bigger TV. So we waited. And waited. Finally at 4:50pm we asked when we would be able to get into the room that we were paying for and were told that they were still installing the new TV. After expressing that we had a trail walk planned and needed to get into our room to change our clothes, we were allowed in. We changed and left for the walk. We returned about a little over an hour later to find that the maintenence worker was still in our room, but now was changing a light bulb. After he left and we could go inside we found that the TV was still "installing" and took about 10 minutes to finish, but then it didn't even work! I walked back to the main office to express our dissatisfaction and the lady answered the phone multiple times while I was trying to talk to her. Finally done with the lack of customer service, I asked for a full refund and left. It was an incredibly busy weekend, so I know that they were able to fill the room and probably didn't think twice about the miserable experience that my husband and I had. This was such a shame and a complete waste of our time.

Wonderful, the rooms are beautiful and clean. The owner is sweet, caring and loving. This is the best place to stay in Fort Bragg and the prices are great. I definitely would recommend Coast Inn And Spa.

The rooms were OK, but not worth the rate. Why really spoiled our stay was the staff. They cared little about our lack of hot water or that the maid never returned to clean our room (we were in the room till later morning, left for the afternoon and never received service.

Warm hospitalities! Nice selection of health conscious products & massage. The rooms are beautiful with a special touch. Fancy, yet affordable. All of my interactions with the staff felt nurturing like family. Cute organic gardens & gazebo with jacuzzi. I look forward to another getaway & massage!

Nice hotel. Check in service was friendly and polite. When we asked for details of the surrounding areas and general directions the gal was informative and helpful. We would recommend this to anyone considering a place to stay. We would consider staying there again if we pass through there again.

We showed up and saw that it was not what was advertised. We actually had to do a double take and drive past it about 3 times because we did not know if it was the place. Very old building, musty rooms. When we confronted the owner chong about it not being as advertised she said sorry and that we don't have to pay. Then, we leave and a few weeks later there is a charge for 290$ to our card! She says we canceled with a no show. Big lie! Be careful with this dump!
