Location was fine and met our needs. Room was clean and the service member was nice and helpful. I did not think it was worth what we paid for the room however. My opinion very over priced.

Room was clean, economical and what I needed. Disappointed that door lock seemed to consistently not work, no bedside clock/alarm, intermittent running-water noise from elsewhere in the building (consistently 10 seconds on/10 seconds off, 24 hrs/day), and as I was in room 210, stairs were not conveniently located. Staff was wonderful, however, and made up for a lot.

We had a very nice time the 3 days of our stay. Louisa at the front desk was very helpful and very pleasant. (she's a keeper) I forgot my hairdryer and was hoping there was one at the front desk. that would be a suggestion from me.

The Simi Valley facility is kept up by employees. It is the customers who do not abide by cleaning up rules and quiet times. A motorhome was parked in the back for the length of time we were there. A van was being worked on in the front parking area. The non-smoking rooms are a joke when your neighbor stands outside their door and the smoke is coming into your room. The connecting doors are like paper thin. We picked up after our dogs, but most did not. When you travel with pets, your choices are limited in Simi.

The price was okay. I asked non smoking room and room smell like smoke. By the time we checked out for 1night stay, everything we owned, clothes anything that stayed inside the room smell like smoke. Im not sure if I can stay in a motel 6 again.

We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and professional. The one thing I didn't like was I Thought there should be shampoo and conditioner though for the price we paid. Other then that I would recommend motel 6

Clean quiet and budget friendly! Great place to get some sleep when traveling, staff was also very friendly and helpful!

Multiple cigarette burns on the comforter, dodgy people in all nearby rooms… definitely see why it had such low stars. I don't recommend for families with kids or people who want to walk outside in the evening. I don't feel safe.

Better than I expected. Room was clean and everything was in good condition. Not a large room, but everything was well spaced and I felt like I had plenty of room.

Staff Is very friendly and make me feel comfortable every time I stay. Room's are always clean and welcoming.

I feel that you should use video surveillance to police the PIGS that don't pick up after their dogs. I bring my own bags but I noticed that the dispensers are often empty.

The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are clean. Only tube A drawback that if you pay two or more days you have quenir every day to reactivate the card and not let you know this one as a fool trying to open with the things you bring in your hand and the pinch card will not have the door and occupy Michohondas…

Every Motel 6 location, including the Simi Valley Motel 6 off Erringer, is conveniently located close to freeway access and city centers. Awesome when you need one! The Sheets and rooms are clean. Showers and toilets always work! There is always a vacancy when I need a room. Regardless of the season/holiday.

The room was a bit sparse but clean and well maintained for my 4 night stay. I would have preferred a small refrigerator as I carry injectable insulin with me but I was able to make other arrangements to cool it.

Hotel simple does not have services in the room as a refrigerator and microwave oven, does not have free Wi-Fi.

When I attempted to call the front desk both at 2:30 am and at 7:30 am there was no answer. I was attempting to set wake up calls and find out if there was an Iron on the premises. I’ve paid less for better hotels. Only upside, when I went to the front desk in person they were friendly.

It was a nice stay. Although there is a lot of druggys that stay there and cops are always there raiding people's rooms. They don't have refrigerator or microwave in the rooms and breakfast sucks. For the same price you can go to grand vista and it is way nicer.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and modern. The service was excellent! It was a comfortable place to go to on a business trip. I was able to relax and enjoy after working long hours. Thank you!

Good place to rest and spend the night you cater very well I am satisfied d the Motel.

Rooms are small. Beds are too small. Just 2 pillows per bed. Sand-paper towels. Horrible upgrades. No complimentary shampoo, conditioner and lotion. No "do not disturb" decals available to post, so they bang on your door whenever they please. The star is for the fact that a Holiday Inn Express is right next door.

Hello all, First of all I cant say enough positives about the job Larry the General manager has done for me and my small Classic Car Company. There have been several breakdown and always, Larry makes a room happen for me and or one of my employees. We are usually beyond burnt out from hauling on the road and he has way of making all of us feel welcome and constantly checking on me or the drivers to be sure we have all that we need. Leaking shower head in room and blinking bulb in bathroom. Cleaning was pretty good but it did not seem like the sheets were changed as much as they say they need to change them. Our stay was for 7 days. I think Motel 6, for the price, is a pretty good value.

LuLu (maria) makes the stay here worth while. She is so polite, helpful and willing to make the extra effort to solve whatever issues you may have. She was very helpful, and even calmed my crazy family down… She is definitely a bright spot at this motel. It's just nice to see a smile and a great attitude once in a while. I have always had a pleasant stay at the Motel 6 in Simi Valley, CA but this one night stay was not… the motel is clean and the staff was very helpful… However the problem I experienced was being on the ground floor and with the hard floors also on the second floor above me everything that hit the floor in room above me resounded with a big thud or bang. (carpeted floors on the second floor would have probably softened the noise. Every time I would doze off a loud bang and I would be awake again (I think the tenant/s stayed all night there playing their games…) I called the office and they must have called them and from about 3:00 a. M. The noises stopped and at last I could sleep… The hard floors without carpet are nice because they are kept much cleaner. Doug.

This was my first time at Simi Valley Motel 6. The sides and back did not seem well-lit enough for me. I'm 79, female, with small dog that would need walking in the dark sometimes. Your desk person found me a room right next to the office! It was perfect! I like your lawns for doggie visitors as well. All in all a fantastic stay… thank you!

The room is cozy for the good rate I had. I am glad that I had good room service. My only criticism is the need to spend a some time to net scoop some plan leaves from the pool.

Cody at the front desk was able to follow up on all the issues we had. He was knowledgeable. Efficient, friendly and quickly worked hard to solve our problems. I would stay again ifvcody were your front desk staff. The other staff were friendly, but not as personable or quick to resolve issues.

The stay was great — facility clean (didn't appreciate the cigarette burn on one of the bed quilts tho) and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to "early" check in. I, unfortunately was NOT able to "late" check out. I use Motel 6 for dog sports throughout Calif. I stayed Thurs 7/20 evening. I came into town early Thurs. Where we had a break 12-3:00, so early check in was really nice during that break. I requested Thurs. Evening if a late check out Fri was a possibility. I was given a stern "No — management doesn't allow". I asked if I could speak with someone else, and again was returned with a stern — management doesn't allow. Ok — no harm in asking. I was only asking so I could come back during that same break 12-3 to finish packing up and take a quick shower knowing the housekeeping can't possibly have all rooms done by 3:00. Well, Fri morning, Luisa was there (who was VERY nice) so I asked her if there was any possibility of getting a late check out — no harm in asking a friendlier person. I was allowed to stay until 1:00 which worked out well — I was at least given a bit of time to freshen up a bit — maybe not a shower, but could at least freshen up and finish packing. KUDOS to Luisa — thank you for being "Customer Service Friendly". It was much appreciated! Not sure why a late check out is not allowed when I know Housekeeping, I'm sure doesn't have all rooms done by that time — I wasn't asking for new towels or anything else.

The Simi Valley Motel 6 is the nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. There is no carpet and the bed is on a platform rather than a traditional box springs bed. I had no worry of bed bugs! My room was near the end of the front row of rooms. Even though sits right next to the freeway, I didn't hear any freeway noise in the room. I felt completely safe unloading my car at 1:00 a. M. And packing up to leave. I used normal precautions but never felt unsafe. I was able to park near enough to my room that I just left the door open when packing up the car to leave. The staff were very nice and professional. I had a room with a microwave and a mini fridge. The freezer was big enough for food and ice. It's very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The next time I need a room in Simi Valley, I will stay at this Motel 6.

Our stay at Motel 6 Simi Valley, CA was very nice. The room was clean and no noise from the upper floor at night to keep us awake. The property grounds were clean and well kept. There are nice grassy dog potty areas that were clean with no dog waste laying about. The plumbing could use some work though. The bathtub and sink did not drain very well but other than that I have no complaints.

The convenience of this hotel location is good for me because of the festival I go to. Looking back at the price of the hotel I am thinking it is a little high. I stayed at a very elegant hotel in San Diego with a view of the Marina for about $30 more than what I just payed at Motel 6. Even though it was a holiday weekend, $140 per night is high for what this room and what you get. I am thinking to check other hotels in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful and the room seemed extra clean this time and not much of a smoke odor.

I had stayed there for the Second Time and this experience was as great or better than my Previous Stay. Clean quiet room. Quiet was the most important. I actually slept like a rock. Room was at the back of the building away from the Freeway and main street (Erringer). Staff Was Nice and allowed me to switch rooms away from the Parking Lot. I would stay here again. Thank you again.

I arrived with a confirmed 3 nights reservation. I checked it without any issues and went to sleep. The next day while I was at an event I received a voicemail saying my stuff had been removed from the room since it was past checkout. I could not leave the event for a few more hours following this. I called and asked what was going on and the man who answered the phone could only say 3 things: "I don't know" "You'll" have to talk to the manager" "It wasn't me". I asked to speak to the manager and apparently he was on a break and no one knew when he would return. I was awaiting a call back to find out what was going on, but never received one. Instead I returned to the hotel hours later once the event was done for the day. I got to the lobby where they handed me all my personal belongings which had been balled up and thrown in trash bags. The manager was still nowhere to be found. They said they cancelled 2 nights of my 3 night reservation cause I checked in past 6pm. I was not informed of this at check in, but rather just kicked out and then told that no one knew anything and that I'd have to wait for the manager who hadn't come back from break for HOURS. This horror story goes on and on. I'm not in the process of going through corporate for compensation since the corporate office has informed me that the location was absolutely wrong on all accounts. They can't partially cancel a reservation and you have till 5am to check in.

Very clean, great staff and safe location. You will need to make a reservation because this place sells out fast.

Very clean. Nothing fancy but was impressed on how clean room was. Located very near a large mall. Easy in and out of motel. Lots of parking area. Staff very helpful. Will use this motel again. It would be a ten but our room was near a slanted sidewalk/drive way and it was raining which made it a little harder for me to walk.

It was clean and simple with a retro kind of look to it. I enjoyed the stay and so did my kids and husband, and it was affordable. Also was in a good location.

Very satisfied. Stayed 1 nite, NY Day Jan 1 2016. Booked online from a coffee shop in Westwood Village same nite. Clean room. Very close to ramps to route 118. Great, easy to use TV. Quiet, safe neighborhood. $70 incl tax.

Simi valley was about 20min from our event but it was worth the drive. It is a safe and clean neighborhood and right off the freeway. Safeway with Starbucks right across the street. The staff was really nice and check-in was super fast. Room was clean and AC worked great. Other than the sheets having a cigarette burn (which is not too big of a deal to me) I don't really have any complains. I will definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

This has been my home away from home many times over the last six years. I lived in the area for 17 years then moved to Vegas. Each time I returned for business and family I stayed here. I like the front desk staff. Although the turnover has seemed high in 6 years, everyone has been friendly. Many times I've had to check in in the middle of the night; the people on duty has always been pleasant. Extra towels and pillows have always been available. The location is good if you don't mind staying right next to the 118 freeway. There is noise, but it isn't terrible. There is a 24hour Denny's one exit up on Sycamore and a 24 hour Carl's Jr. In an adjacent parking lot. Gas stations and 7-11s are down on the corner. In the Denny's parking lot there is a 24hr CVS. The rooms are pretty clean, although I'm not a fan of the housekeeping here. They play music while cleaning, which I wouldn't begrudge them, but they play it so so loudly! Sometimes I don't think they vacuum, but they are otherwise clean. I've never had dirty linens. There are some extended stay people here, so you will deal with what that entails. I've never seen or heard violence or anything terrible. You might smell weed sometimes. Sometimes people who have been here too long forget it is a motel and not an apartment with thicker walls. I've never been woken up by anything like that in 6 years though. Showers are super high pressure so prepare for a power wash. But the temperature is good.

No fridge or microwaves in the room. Staying here 3 weeks, and no way to keep and cook food. Good value for the area though.
