Review of Red Roof Inn San Dimas - Fairplex 2*

I've been frequenting this location now for about the last two weeks; I'm rating this Red Roof based on it's potential, rather than performance. The layout and landscaping of the motel is what really stands out. The property looks more upscale than other motels you'd come across in similar price range. I've yet to see any signs of rodent/insect/bed bug, etc infestation. I'm not sure if it's just this location, or corporate related — but, overall, the staff leaves you w the impression that they're incapable of doing their respective jobs. Whether it's inadequate training, frequent corporate changes, lack of good management, or whatever the case… It's become bothersome enough for me to actually edit my blank description & lower the star rating. Rather than listing multiple petty instances in an attempt to back up my complaint, I'd rather the staff take action on fixing the negative energy they put out. I have been visiting this location more so lately, since I have friends staying in 3 different rooms here. If I decide to hangout poolside while waiting for one of my friends to return, I shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable. Especially after there just was a SWAT team raid and takedown of suspects who were guests… which resulted in the entire location being surrounded in police vehicles & not being allowed to access my truck for hours. Yes, my reasoning for being here was questioned by a manager, immediately following this felony takedown. Yeahhhh because I totally want to be yelled at by angry policemen & forced to stand around the back wing of the motel to be kept from leaving or getting shot. Avoid this location, commute a few more exits north or south to find plenty of better options!
