The hotel is very nice overall. There is plenty of space in the rooms and the staff is quite friendly. Most everything looks very new and shows no wear and tear like so many hotels I have stayed in over the years.

Stayed for one night while working an event in Arcadia. The room was comfortable and spacious. We also got a complementary drink card with our room. Didn't have the opportunity to test the Wi-Fi or entertainment amenities in comparison with other hotels, but I would definitely consider staying at the DoubleTree in the future.

Very nice place. Clean, everything is almost perfect. The only thing I didn't like that with the "fishy" good price they doesn't include breakfast, so at the end the price will not be nothing special than a normal fare.

Used to be good When I first started coming here in 2014, this was a very nice hotel for a very good price. Used to be able to get some days for $110 dollars! Awesome buffet breakfast was included, and I would always find free drink coupons slipped into the card jacket as well. The rooms were always in great shape. Fast forward to today — Lowest price is $150 — most times more like $180 No free breakfast "Complimentary Waters" are now $3 Nowhere to recycle plastic in the whole hotel Air Conditioner couldn't keep the room below 78 Staff is much less helpful / interested than I recall when I first started coming. Center light fixture was hanging off the wall and missing light bulb. After my last stay here I don't know if I'll be coming back.

Somewhat disappointed, no breakfast (but they love to offer a free warm cookie on a 90 degree day). The room was on the top floor and basically radiated heat from the roof, the AC was very cold and could not keep up for 18of 24 hours. It literally felt like a heat lamp was on the way the heat radiated. I ended up cutting my stay short and moved to another property. Maybe a warm cookie would help me feel better about the heat in my room.

We were so amazed by the great service & the staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel & venue if you are trying to book for a party. Danielle Johnson was an awesome wedding coordinator and their banquet staff was fabulous. Special thanks to Antonio for making our special day memorable and smooth. We live right up the street and ended up staying for a night because our AC was out during the CRAZY triple digit hot weekend. We managed to check in early and sooooo appreciated being able to lounge in a luxurious room with blasting cold air when the temperature was soaring. The pool area is beautiful and my kids enjoyed it for hours. Room service was prompt and delicious. The staff was courteous and accommodating. Will be back for a “staycation” in our own little neck of the woods sooner rather than later!

This place was my home for 13weeks. I love the staff, the rooms, the service the food in the restaurant, the pool, everything. Seriously I was greeted every time I came in and out. They always make sure you're happy. And they do it all with a smile. George and Tiffany at the bar, Manny at the front desk, Alexandro the server, Gabriel and John the cook to name a few of the amazing people they have working there. But each staff member takes pride in providing outstanding service and that's why I will always stay there when I have business in LA.

I am a Hilton Diamond member. I was in town to celebrate my birthday. I fell in the front of the hotel where cars park to check in on 2/17/17. The floor was wet from rain and no mats were on the floor. I slipped and my knees twisted causing me to land on my knees and hands. My legs twisted out to the side of my body, almost causing me to break both of my legs 1 day before my birthday. I could barely walk and all the front desk did was bring me ice and write an incident report. They acted like it was my fault that I fell. Nobody helped me get to my room or offer any compensation or help for what happened. I had to sit in the lobby with ice on my knees for 1hour. I felt very unwelcomed and was very hurt. I will never go back due to the unprofessional staff.

The lobby and other common areas look nice, but my room & experience overall was not. The room had ripped carpet, chipped paint & obvious water damage in the bathroom. The shower temperature was very inconsistent. The sliding door for the bathroom didn’t close all the way. The walls must be very thin because I heard quite a bit of our neighbors. Anytime one of our neighbors opened their door, the door to my room would move slightly making it sound like someone was coming into my room which woke me up several times. Also, It was a bad choice on the hotel’s part to use such a glossy paint in the hallways because it shows every imperfection, every patch, every scratch. They definitely should have known to go with a matte color. The breakfast buffet is $17 per person and NOT worth it. Most of the food was cold. I settled on a single piece of toast. The milk was sour. The coffee tasted horrible. I wish I had gone to an actual restaurant for breakfast instead. A lot of the parking spaces are too narrow for most cars. I have to make this trip four more times this year, and I was hoping to find a hotel I could book confidently for each trip especially since this one’s location is convenient to where I need to go, but I’ll think I’ll try my luck somewhere else next time.

Service was great up to a point. I believe someone in the room next to us was smoking and when we walking into our room it smelled horrible. We asked if something could be done and they said they would send someone right up. However no one ended up coming that night. Other then that it is a beautiful place and I highly recommend it.

I loved my time at this location, the staff was Amazing with A+ attitude. I dont know if we can mention names, but the gentlemen made me feel well appreciated and was prompt with service request. They were also very gracious in giving a late check out when requested. All in all I had a very pleasant time here, the rooms were clean and level of service was outstanding. I will definitely visit again. Keep up the good work, We notice!

We were quite impressed, even though the decore was a bit old in the rooms it was still really nice, they could do some touch ups, we were very comfortable and would definitely would stay again.

Very well a good place to go when traveling. Or going to or hosting seminars. Good food, nicely organized and the poolside lunch. It's one good expierence. Special thanks to DoubleTree and Follett ice for hosting the free seminar. It was honestly a good choice.

The Hotel looked a lot better online than in person. The sinks were not that clean, the room had some black paint dots on the ceiling. The hallways were dark too. The pool was the reason why we booked this hotel but they didn't tell us in advance that they were repairing it. The shower head sprayed the water at different angles. I'm disappointed at the price of this hotel and the actual look of the hotel.

The staff was nice it’s a little pricey the only thing I didn’t like was at the pool and the spa we’re out of commission.

Pasadena is fantastic! The majestic mountains are so beautiful in the scenery and the food is fresh!

Mediocre person at the bar. The person at the front desk is looking at you and this is not even proposing to call one person to serve you mediocre mediocre. Damage.

I am generously giving two stars solely on the deliciousness of their cookies. The room itself had such a terrible odor that being in the room caused me pure anguish (yes, that's right, it was actual torture). Whenever the AC started blowing air, the room would fill with an awful urine like smell. We removed the filter which helped some but at the end of the day it was as useful as a bandaid on a broken leg. The shower/bathroom was okay except the faucet was leaky and the toilet would make noises nonstop. The bed was hard and the pillows were not my favorite. I realize these are small complaints compared to things you might find at a value hotel/motel, but I am also expecting more than I would at a motel 6. Nothing sets them apart from the competition, so unless they have the lowest nightly rates, I would suggest staying elsewhere.

It's a pretty typical DoubleTree. Overall a very nice place to stay. Some of the property is a little dated, but it's clean and very well maintained.

He has the horrible posture of concealing his manner of proceeding, regarding the arrival at the hotel. In every hotel you are required to pass the credit card. At the Double Tere by Hilton you are charged U $ S 50. — In the doubt!

It is a very vonito place it is the first time I go to that place and I loved it very much.

Lived here for 10 days. It's generally worth it. But I haven't bought a car since I arrived in LA. It's not convenient to go to dinner or anything. But the location is very good. This piece of law is good. There are many restaurants around 10 minutes ' walk from the hotel. And my favorite Starbucks. But the hotel has a big problem with ordering meals. Service staff for more tips directly and passengers said no change money. Because I've been on this side 5 times in the hotel food. I once tried to say that I only need 5 dollars for change. She just stood there and began to take a lot of change out of her pocket. I was drunk. Here I would like to explain to the hotel. We can certainly afford to live in a hotel like this. You don't have to do this. I am sure that most of the people will give these service more tips as well as I do. I only live in Hilton because Hilton gives me a good overall feeling. So I hope that there will be no such damage to the hotel image of things.

The room was very clean and spacious. There were a couple issues with things in the room not working. But the front desk staff was very responsive. Check in was smooth. We ordered room service once for breakfast, we were a little surprised to be charged a delivery fee, plus a room service fee, and still have a line for a tip on top of it.

The best thing I can say about this hotel is that the employees are great. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was happy. The building and the rooms however really need to be renovated. On 1st glance it looks like a chic hotel but if you look closely, it's really, really worn out. I probably would not stay here again.

Great location. Not too far from Pasadena and about 1/2 hour drive to LA, with no traffic. With traffic, about an hour or more. The staff was very helpful. The pool area is very beautiful. Plenty of free parking and lots of restaurants are within walking distance.

Nice view from three 9th floor. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Lots of free parking and quite a few places nearby for a quick bite. The warm cookies at check in are always lovely treat.

Unfortunately we stayed on 11/22/17 and we had a very unfortunate stay where our TV was broken in our room and I brought it up to the staff at that time and they said they would Have maintenance come up to our room but I said no thank you because my family was asleep in the room at that time and the shrugged their shoulders and said we are sorry! They never offered to move us to a different room or compensate in some kind of way … Bad management period! Yes The next day at check out I was never asked how our stay was and it was super dry very disappointed! I will never stay there again!

I had some things that were broken when I got to the room, that's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. The way they handled the issue was very good though, they offered to get someone up to repair the issues right away. I declined just because it didn't work with the schedule I had for the week, but when I recommended they have someone handle it after check out the guy scheduled the maintenance right in front of me. Any time I asked for something or needed anything they were attentive and helpful. I go to this area once a year for business and it's very likely that I will book again. Facilities were also really good. Clean gym, the pool was nice, and the hot tub was amazing.

I was only at the hotel bar for drinks. Boyfriend said the drinks were not costly. Visited the ladies room once, it was clean and comfortable. There was a loud and rowdy bunch present while we were there but that's not a reflection of the place.

Check in was fast and amazing! Evette helped us out after we had a very rough start with the airport. I definitely recommend this place due to the staff being fantastic and the cleanliness of the facility!

This place rips off Canadians! I am a Home Health aid sent out from the agency to assist a 94yr old man and his wife from Victoria BC, to attend thier sons funeral services. They stayed in room 1011, (supposedly best) and the room service was never on time but what struck me as a pisser wasn't the fact they didn't speak English, it was the thieving of money to be exact, a coin purse that came up missing, they went through everything in the bags and left the place filthy everyday. We asked that the manager file a report and look into it, that they lost wealthy customers that used every cafe and restaurant, tipped well and were generous with thier staying there at that hotel out of convenience to all the family members residing on the same floor rooms 1007, 1009 and 1013. Double Tree is not worth the money in my opinion, please research better hotels so your family is not ripped off by the help when you need to attend your son's funeral.

My stay wasn't particularly long or exceptional, but for the short while I was there, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is the renovations from whatever it used to be kinda show in the corners and trim and I never like when hotel bathrooms don't have a vent. Overall, it's a perfectly good hotel and a great location for so many attractions in Southern Cali. I will definitely stay here on occasion.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It’s a bit hard getting here with 210 traffic, but it’s a nice hotel, and fairly priced. Pool area is pretty nice along with the lobby. I was the DJ for a wedding here, and the stuff I dealt with was pretty nice too.

Courteous staff. Clean and modern rooms. Quiet. Complimentary parking. One of the better DoubleTree hotels I've stayed at.

Very convenient location close to the main freeways and access to the San Gabriel area. Quiet area and great late night front desk service. Surprised to get warm cookies at check in. A good amount of parking in the parking lot.

Not a bad place to stay as long as you get a remodeled room. Some of the beds are on the floor, other's have box springs. Showers are nice. Not a tub so easy to walk in but the curtains leak water all over the floor. Stayed here six times, always got breakfast buffet comped. This last time they refused to comp a breakfast. From the looks of the staff I'd say new owners. Next time I'll just stay at the Embassy suites where breakfast is always included. A cookie isn't everything.

What a wonderful and quiet place the stay. I am a Pasadena resident and totally charmed by this place. Also not as expensive as staying in old Town pasadena. Recommended!

The hospitality was welcoming and pleasant. Convenient location spacious rooms beautiful mountain views. The Jacuzzi was nice and hot, and the pool was refreshing. The towels were soft that's a +.

Great area just off freeway but still quiet. Lots of dining options that are walkable or a short drive. Would stay at this location again.

Definitely not the best place I've ever stayed. The lighting in the bathroom is not the best. The biggest problem was the room was 85℉ when we walked in and it took over an hour to get fixed, and my sister in-law's room took a day. Once things got fixed it got better but still that really left a negative mark.

I attended a company training session. The room was large and comfortable. Coffee was hot and refreshed frequently. Cookies were good but a little dry. Air conditioning was a good temperature. Overall, a good experience.

Came here to prospect as a wedding venue. Elvira is of a great help in answering all our questions. The venue has definitely beat my expectations of my previously, not so good image of Double Tree brand of hotels. Definitely worth checking out as a venue space. It's on our short list of places to host our wedding.

This is a beautiful hotel with friendly guests and staff alike. Right next to the 210, tons of good eats easily within walking distance. The main reason I stay at the hotel is for the deals they have with the local Renaissance Faire. This year, things have started to change. They no longer have ticket deals with the fair, just shuttle service, they don't serve alcohol until noon (What's a breakfast without Mimosas and Bloody Mary's? ), and they got rid of the Kobe burger. Small complaints, but significant enough for me to look for another hotel for my Ren Faire lodgings. This is always my first pick hotel, I just want the best deals when it's Ren Faire season, which is already expensive enough.

PROS: Location: Adjacent to many restaurants and eateries. Plenty of parking. Room: Room is filled with form and function. Modem design. Comfortable bed. Great sheets. (No nasty bedspread). Lots of technology. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge, IPhone dock, cordless phone and nice TV on a full 180° articulating arm. Great to watch TV from the soaking tub. Staff: Friendly helpful. Pool: Modern looking pool. Store: Well stocked with almost anything I would need. Did not try bar/restaurant. But I looked fancy. Cons: Jets did not work on the hot tub. The rain shower head needs to be decalcified. When on about 30% of the water sprayed outside the tube.

We were there for a 90th birthday party. The venue was very well decorated and the food was delicious! We had a good time.

Loud elevator and… loud crickets… as in the insects. Impossible to sleep! Tough night before a big executive meeting. Not only did they not shut down a noisy elevator adjacent to my room at 10pm as promised, but they also couldn't stop the loud crickets chirping between 36-56 decibels. Terrible night! Major fail! Ironic because I am an HHonors gold member with a profile requesting rooms away from the elevator. After requesting a room change, they did not provide. Was too busy to pack and book and move into another hotel, so suffering through a second night, and certainly my last at the cricket motel.

Had a great time as always. Room was nicely laid out and plenty of space. Only issue was the shower. We had a jacuzzi tub which was amazing. However the huge showehead in the middle of the ceiling would have been great but it seemed like most of the holes were clogged. Pressure was very weak. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I went there for my company party. The ballroom was nice. The food was not bad. The staff was doing their job. The parking was big enough for us.

Much better than we had expected. Room was nice and spacious, not dated at all. Only complaint is there is no exhaust in the bathroom. Chocolate chip cookies they give you upon check in were delicious! They have a pool which we did not use but did use the lounge chairs and chaise which they have set up similar to a Caribbean resort and it was so nice to sit there and relax. The bartender George was very friendly and personable and answered all our questions about LA traffic and driving directions. We stayed for 5 nights and would definitely stay there again.

Clea and quiet, easy parking close to many things was the good. No true bathroom door a sliding partition only with little to no privacy, what a joke.

I went to Santa Anita Race Track and stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. I thought the service was excellent and I have no complaints. Of course offering me more warm chocolate chip cookies on departure probably softened me up a bit. As others have warned, the beds are very low so some seniors may have difficulty getting out of the bed. The room was very clean, quiet and overall very pleasant. I purchased the buffet breakfast for $10 at check-in and was pleasantly surprised with a breakfast selection and an omelet bar. Only a few minor complaints like no alarm clock and a confusing phone system but I don't use those anyway. I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to visit again.

I just checked in for business training all week. Hate this room and can't sleep because the fan is so loud. I called the front desk about it, maybe I was missing something, and they said that's how it is. Literally. TV turned way up and can barely hear it. I need a TV to sleep but don't want to disturb my neighbors. Also, the light as soon as you walk in doesn't work. Randomly flickers on and off. Random switches throughout the room. The TV might fall off the hook. Oh, and I was really looking forward to the relaxing "rain" shower. Such a joke. It's going to be a long 4 days.

Super rude front desk staff and manager. Rooms are small and hallways are dark. It feels like you are living in a cave. Look out for bedbugs and hair in your food. Avoid this place like the plague.

The hotel has a clean and modern look. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were different than regular and clean. The beds were a little on the soft side. The only think I did not like is the fact that the fridge and microwave's wire doesn't reach the power outlet. They should have either put an extension cord or something. It shows lack of attention to details on their part. The front desk person also lied to me, which was not nice of them. Over all, it was okay.

Made a reservation on this hotel even though we were kinda far from our actual destination (20-30 mins drive to Universal Studios, Hollywood) based solely on its decent price in accoridance to the reviews and the photos at the time of booking. I must say we were pleasantly surprise of how nice this hotel is, Love the very modern look from the lobby all the way to our room! Staff were great and our kids enjoyed their complimentary freshly baked chocolate chip cookie at time of check in and check out. One of the nicest thing we really appreciated was how close it was to everything in the area. I mean there were lots of restaurants to choose from within a walking distance such as Red Lobster which sits right next to the hotel. In addition, it is right off the 210 exit freeway. Love this hotel and we would consider this place again next time we visit LA.

Two years, travel the United States, the basic need in this hotel a few times, not bad, around a kit, pretty complete, Chinese life colony.
