The service is excellent; the club lounge is for the asking and all the staff there cater to your every whim! The area around the hotel is great for strolling along the marina and is close to shopping area if you like walking!

No self parking, no taxi stand, not good a good hotel.

This hotel had been fabulous! I came for a meeting, which happened to be near my anniversary with my husband. The staff at the Ritz went above and beyond to make our stay memorable — our names in rice on the bed, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries! I would definitely stay here again and again!

Nice hotel with a beautiful location, but wound up knocking on my door at 5 a. M. Wanting to deliver a glass of iced tea that I did not order. When I didn't respond they called my room. Nice. You would think a hotel of this level would make this kind of a mistake. But you would be wrong. Then, they tried to charge me for a cup of coffee that I had not ordered. Cleared that off the bill. Finally I paid $4 to use their ATM machine. However the next day I find an additional $2.50 charge from the same company for reasons I'm still trying to determine. For the money this The Ritz charges, you shouldn't have to put up with stuff like this. Still it's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location if you can get past the hiccups.

I’ve stayed or visited or had dinner and cocktails with friends at just a few Ritz Carlton properties. The Ritz Carlton Georgetown Washington DC (gorgeous, opulent, the lobby fireplace area alone is worth the trip) Ritz Carlton Pentagon, RC downtown Los Angeles, RC New York Central Park and RC Chicago all live up to the standard of elite. Now the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey I’ve only visited my friend who stays here when she comes to town. So I’ve been 5 times. Almost every time there’s an issue. Once the power to the entire hotel was out for hours and hours. Couldn’t go to the rooms, couldn’t do anything but sit in the lobby and wait. Another the hot water in her suite was completely out. She had to switch rooms. Another time the air conditioner wasn’t working and had to be moved then also. And another she requested a tea kettle to make hot tea and the kettle was broken, and so was the second kettle but the third one work nicely. On a positive note the front desk/concierge has never been anything but exceptional. Very attentive, kind and helpful. The valet attendants say good afternoon and open the doors to the hotel as you’re arriving or exiting (most of the time). All in all the staff make it feel like a Ritz Carlton, but you may have to switch rooms once or twice to make your whole experience feel like your at a Ritz Carlton.

Very nice hotel right on the Marina. Several good places to eat nearby. Water taxi runs about every 20 minutes from dock next to hotel and only costs $1. Has parking across the street in public park for $10 a day if you do not want to pay $32 per day at the hotel.

Pros: nice rooms with comfy beds and very spacious. Great pool and 24hr hot tub. Well trained staff Cons: no close by coffee shops or other conveniences, pool cocktail and food program could use a major refresh. Mixed drinks were terrible and about $20 a drink.

Beautiful rooms and facilities. Staff are excellent. The outdoor facilities are kept to a good standard. A short walk on the marina and you will be at the beach. Valet is $45 a night plus tip, across the road is $5 self parking, if you can bear the idea of walking across the road.

I’ve had better stays in other hotels. Hotel room is fancy but it is a bit outdated. Also you pay $400 for a stay and they can’t even offer you a free breakfast? Like what is that. I understand it’s suppose to bring in people with money want to spend $40 on French toast but that isn’t very considerate of others who wanted to experience a luxurious stay with inclusive luxurious breakfast. I mean $400 a night should at least guarantee me a stack of pancakes in the morning. Courtyard Marriott are literally the same if not better.

I visited this location just recently celebrating me and my wife's two year wedding anniversary. This customer service here is top of the line from valet service to front desk to in room dining service staff. All met the standard of excellence and I appreciate them for helping me celebrate the love I have for my wife. They even helped me sneak in some special surprises!

Absolutely a five-star hotel. Staff is so friendly and helpful, Amanda at the Concierge desk helps plan everything trip for you, all were superb. Fran the night-time bartender is so awesome and cool! Food is excellent, view is breathtaking, you can take a mile walk in the trail behind the hotel and see all the boats. Elizabeth, our morning waitress was so friendly and helpful. Lindsey who seats you to your table has a million dollar smile, I nick named her "Smiley"

Chef Éric Duchene's kitchen is divine!

Excellent across the board. GREAT hotel. Awesome marina views. Very good bar and restaurant. Rooms are Ritz caliber. Stayed here for the 2018 CMO CLUB SUMMIT which was also awesome. They get it all right here at the Ritz. If in the area, STAY HERE. Bar can be fun and lively if there is a work event or a weekend. Yachts in harbor are stunning.

I experienced the most amazing birthday weekend here with friends. Service here is always 5☆! We really lucked out with the weather. We were here for the art auction which included a beautiful buffet 2x per day. I especially enjoyed the Jacuzzi & the night time views from our room. I would love another long weekend at this resort!

Interiors and lobby are gorgeous. Beds are so comfortable and I love the turn-down service. The swimming pool is probably the best feature — everyone told me how great it was and it didn't disappoint.

Awesome hotel from valet parking to check-in to check-out. They really know how to treat their guests. I would have to say it’s the best hotel near the LAX area. The view of the marina is breathtaking, room service is on-point. We ordered room service for breakfast and they set it up for us on the balcony for us, they reallly take the extra time to make you feel special. Our bed was super comfy which is really important to us. Highly recommend if you are just staying over in LA and want to be close to LAX.

This is the second time we stayed here, previously was three years ago. This was for a meeting of three days. The hotel is very nice, very well maintained… Rooms are spacious… Request for a high floor for a better view. One issue. If you drive… Only valet parking at $42 per night. If you want to save, there is a municipal parking lot across the street at $5 per night… Unfortunately that lot is being repaired so if you still want to save (as I did), you can drive down about half a mile where a similar lot is available. Also for$5 per night… From there you can walk back on the boardwalk which incidentally is a very pleasant walk.

The location of the hotel is convenient if you want to be close to Venice Beach. The service was good with friendly treatment. Also take advantage of the spa services, which I recommend.

I like the lounge best (tons of pickled salmon).

As the five star rating of this hotel would suggest the customer service is wonderful! From pulling up to the circular Drive where I was greeted by friendly valet personnel to the live Spanish guitar players just beyond the lobby to the housekeeping staff, service was stellar! I was excited to spend my birthday weekend at the Ritz-Carlton this year so I mentioned it to the valet. He wished me happy birthday. The doorman overheard, unbeknownst to me, and also wished me a happy birthday. It may seem like something small but it's always fun to have people share in my joy! Thank you, Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, for contributing to one of my top 3 birthdays of all time.

It was very beautiful here. It was a perfect place for the event of my boyfriend's work. Plenty of room and it's there in the marina. I recommend it.

This place is truly amazing, from start to finish; unparalleled staff. This must come from the top, must have a great GM. I say this because without exception from the doorman at arrival to the front desk agent at check out the staff was beyond believe. I have been lucky enough to have stayed at some of the best hotels around the world and nothing has come close. When checking in late evening on February 2nd the …doorman thanked me for my business and thanked me for staying. No doorman says that! Keep in mind I pulled up in a Hertz rental pick-up truck with my hat on backwards at about 10 PM!
At check out Christy or Christine (name? ) cheerfully asked me how my stay had been and I replied back “excellent, and I never say that! ” The room and public areas were adequate, it was the staff here that made the difference.

I loved this place, and I’m definitely coming back. Rooms are wonderful, and the restaurant is great. The menu isn’t huge but I still wish I had time to try more dishes. Beautiful pool and athletic area. Convenient to LAX and other great parts of LA.

Incredible staff from top to bottom. We stayed with our two young girls, and the hotel went above and beyond in making them feel special during their stay. Although we stayed a few weeks after Christmas, they even had a Christmas tree and personalized stuffed stockings awaiting their arrival. The location of this hotel is perfectly situated near many beaches, and is easy to hop on to the freeways into the cities. We will definitely be staying here again next time we're in the area.

This property has been recently remodeled and is more refined when compared to my last visit a few years ago. The views of the marina from the room are very nice. The arrival was very welcoming… the valet was helpful and friendly. Check in was very quick and efficient. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Cocktails and fire. It gets drafty out on the porch at night, but that's expected. Did I mention excellent cocktails?

The hotel itself is nice, though by no means do the rooms compare to other ritz carltons around the world. The room views are generally disappointing… however the restaurant has the most beautiful view of the marina. The food is delicious. More importantly the hotel staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. Valet parking is something like 50/night. However, across the street is a parking lot that costs $6 for 24 hrs. Very worth the quick walk. Overall I do recommend this place to family in friends visiting LA.

Amazing and classy venue. As the Ambassador of our churches First ladies health initiative We felt like royalty on that day. The valet parking was covered by the Walgreens Reps the parking attendants were so professional. The ballroom was exquisitely decorated the food was delicious And the servers were great. Very classy location. You're gonna love everything. Enjoy.

We came here after a memorial for our dear Uncle. And we must say, each staff member was genuinely kind. Our waitress was incredible, always checking on our table. (Even though we were pretty loud, since we were reminiscing on old times). We completely appreciate the amazing service. Thank you so much, for making such a difficult time a little bit easier.

The view and food is amazing, however if you want to go for a massage you should think twice before going here. I just moved to the area not long ago. In LA you can for an average massage from $20-$95 per hour. I made an hour and half massage and told the person I have naughts on my back and specific spots. The massage wasn't that great. Totally incompetent $250?

What a fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms & service with a smile. We had a wonderful conference here. Sunsets by the pool are not to be missed.

It starts with a beautiful fountain in the front and a warm welcome at the door from the doorman, the professional check in, escorted up to the room while explaining the hotel services and answering questions — great job Sammy!
The service at the pool and pool bar, the concierge service as well restaurant staff delightful and outstanding!
The room was spacious, beds are comfortable, coffee and tea making facilities, fresh Ritz-water every day, turndown service and the view to the harbour just beautiful!
My eye is always on the staff as they make the difference to everything and I have to say I truly enjoyed to see how Hoteliers do their work with respect, joy, courtesy and passion!

Everything you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton. Fantastic service, large rooms (west side is ocean view) and a good restaurant. Also try Killer Shrimp just down the road (walking distance). $42/night valet or $10/night public lot across the street. We'll be back.

The Ritz continues to define world-class anticipatory luxury lifestyle and service. I highly recommend you stop and talk to Fran at the bar. And if you want to take some of the Ritz magic back to your business take their customer service course. Truly excellent.

Service at The Ritz-Carlton is top notch. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I've only been here for a day so far and most of the staff already know my name. Being only 22, it feels somewhat odd, yet satisfactory having people address you as Mr. (Insert Last Name). The rooms feel very luxurious, and the balcony view of the rest of the property and the marina is the icing on the cake. Vallet service is very prompt, only have to send them a SMS and they have your car ready for you in under 10 minutes. Breakfast I found a bit pricey for what you get (I got waffles, bacon, and orange juice for $30 + tip), but it is a 5-star hotel in the LA area after all, and the service was phenomenal. Overall, I've enjoyed my stay so far and will definitely consider staying with them during future business travels.

Service was impecable! From the moment I pulled into the hotel I was greeted by a valet attendant. He went the extra mile to look for a my designated area as well. Not on the computer but on foot! I was very very pleased with that right from the start. Food was great there as well. A little on the healthy side but nonetheless, great. Staff were very attentive to guests. Made sure we had food and refreshments on hand. Area for location was beautiful. By the pool and Marina Docks next to a bike path. Once again, staff assisted in getting us to our location in the most effective way possible. Beautiful interior and rooms. They have jewelry stores and restaurants there. Well worth the location for corporate events, trainings, or even overnight guest.

Everything about this place is five star from the artwork on the walls, to the luxurious seating in the Cast &Plow. You should definitely drop in and have a bite. I recommend the shrimp taco, spicy tuna tartar and the ham and mancheco appetizers. The warm sugar cake was to die for.

The place has awesome location, beautiful views. Most delicious food at the Club lounge and very comfortable beds. The service at the hotel concierge, check in and club is excellent.

It is a very nice atmosphere and the staff very attentive, respectful, and agradabe.

My wife went to Cast & Plow for lunch for our anniversary. The staff could not be more welcoming. They sat is at the table we requested and even surprised us with a delicious anniversary dessert on the house. Wonder experience!

Service is great! Most of the facilities are really nice and the location can't be beat. The hot tub seemed a little run down and the Jets weren't working properly, but hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Nice Hotel but poor quality of service. Both at dinner and at breakfast the waiters very slow. The orange juice is not natural which is not acceptable in a hotel of this category. In the rooms there are no towels with the proper size to dry the hair and the dryer very bad. They don't seem to think about women.

Upscale. Great place to relax right over the marina. You get to see the boat people wake up and bring the marina to life. The pool area was grand and the restaurant is worth a visit without the stay. Only problem for us was the fact we were left alone the whole stay which included not being able to reach concierge for other hotel services. Basically, ignored nothing like Home Alone 2 Lost in New York but the price match.

The swimming pool and the jacuzzi are Rich!
