Great location and price. Room was a little small, with a sort of funky smell, new carpet would help. Great staff and good variety for free breakfast. Would come back, but would make sure to get a pool view room.

A cozy hotel in the heart of Hollywood. It is within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Friendly staffs. Secure entrances to the hotel rooms. Basement parking for guests.

Right on Sunset Blvd. In & Out on next corner, IHOP across street, Sycamore Tavern (good food/drinks) across street slightly north. Some current construction in underground garage impacts elevator. Received help with bags up & down stairs. Room clean, good comfy bed, microwave & small fridge. Didn't use pool, but looked nice. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel well placed, breakfast ok. We had some magnetic card problems but our stay went pretty well. Not a fan of carpeting all over the place!

Decent for the price. If you want to be next to Hollywood, the location is prime. The hotel itself isn't anything special, but the staff was great and we didn't have any issues.

Walls are thin. Can hear people walking above you. Breakfast was definitely a snack. Only toast and bagels no waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, or sausage. Hotel is clean. Maintenance was very helpful with the bags.

Overall our stay was fine, we rented this place solely for location and a decent bed. The hotel is old, decor is dated, and our room kind of smelled damp. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Best part is the location in Hollywood, easy walk to many tourist stops, and cheap Lyft rides to West Hollywood or Sunset. Also it's right next to In and Out Burger, which was great for us. We didn't use the amenities, so I can't comment on that. We checked out early so we didn't get to have the continental breakfast (served 0630 to 1000), so again I can't comment. Overall, would recommend for low to mid budget travellers. It does the job, just don't expect anything great.

Not bad, they do their best. Whole place could use an update. Still clean and decent breakfast. IHOP across street too.

The room was pretty big! They do have a pool which is cool. The breakfast option wasn't my cup of tea but okay. They do have like a security system which is great too.

Were there in mid-February for a week for two. Hotel is noted the many years.

For city tours and for the price not bad one can not expect luxury.

Mixed feelings. The rooms are dated yes, but not terrible. However, there was half drunken soda bottles from the prior guest in the restroom when we checked in. How did the cleaning staff miss that? The TV didn't work either, but the front reception helped us figure out the issue quickly. Police were arresting a guest during our stay. It was a loud ordeal and I felt too uncomfortable to leave the room. The hotel is near some interesting local sites, and if you like In-n-Out, well lucky you! There is one next door. Downside, In-n-Out was really crowded and noisy on the weekend. I didn't use the pool or take breakfast, so no comment on that.

Very close to Hollywood… Very well taken care of. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Strong breakfast. I recommend 100%

We stayed for two nights and we loved our stay. Walking distance to the Hollywood Blvd. Good location to almost everything. They provide nice breakfast (no yoghurt and waffle though). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We loved our spacious room (standard one bed room). Though expect extra parking fees per night, it's a little pricey (parking is not included in the room fee).

Good location to see Hollywood and Beverly Hill's, just a few minutes walk from the Chinese Theatre. Typical West Coast Hotel with no special positives, no negatives. Car park Available and various restaurants and fast food nearby. The staff speaks almost better Spanish than English, but basically we are in California and this is frequent.

Nice place to stay. Rooms were spacious, AC worked well, nice large handicapped room, which also had a separate bathroom for accompanying person. Breakfast was lame and staff was difficult to work with; not too accommodating. Pool area was nice and I would stay again if in the area.

Guest at hotel for three nights. Rooms are cleaned regularly but outdated decor and questionable building quality. Elevator didn't work entire stay. Breakfast provided is basic. However beds and pillows are very comfortable and bedding is clean. Free Wi-Fi works well and parking available for $10/day off.

Unfriendly staff at the reception. Queues are at the lean breakfast buffet. Area around the pool including loungers, chairs and table very dirty. Completely polluted pool, which was mixed with tons of chemicals after complaint. The result was a frothy, milky broth. When asked, we were told that the pool would be clean again in 1 hour. However, this was no longer the case until the day we left ours. Not nice if you travel with children and have booked a hotel with pool. Worst hotel of our trip. Only the proximity to Hollywood Boulevard stands out positively. It should be mentioned that the hotel is a construction site except for the reception. However, an abandoned…

Would give 0 stars if I could. ABSOLUTE WORST stay I've ever had. Hotel had our car towed when they specifically told us we could park there. They refused to help or take responsibility for our $300 inconvenience. Asked for the manager for 3 days and no response. Customer service was awful. I felt unwelcome, a burden, and downright disrespected. Anyone we asked help at the front desk was unwilling to help at all. Spend your money elsewhere.

Days Inn hotel looked great on the website. But it did not live up to it. This disappointed us, but the complimentary breakfast was great though, and it wasn't too bad too sleep in for one night.

Very nice lobby, good location to Universal Studios. However the traffic makes it much longer drive than it needs to be. Hotel was decent, a bit run down but it seems to be undergoing a remodel. Parking seems to fill up after guests park over 2 spots, paying $10 to park should have plenty of spots.

Room was very small, a bit rough round the edges and had a funny smell — they're currently remodelling so will hopefully improve soon. Breakfast was very basic just bagels, toast, cereal, etc. No cooked items. Location was good, only 5 min walk from Hollywood boulevard. All staff were nice and helpful.

Good sizes rooms. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the tourist attractions. Only downside was the narrow parking spaces in the underground garage. Worth it to not park on the street. The breakfast area is very small so plan around large groups or take your plate back to the room.

First the positive: very convenient to Universal Studios, Griffith Observatory and Hollywood. The room was large and the staff very polite and helpful. The hotel has the feeling of 'old Hollywood ' from old movies. The drawbacks: the hotel is old and seriously needs new carpets, etc. Parking is so tight that I was barely able to get my car out of the space without damaging it (parking is OK for small compact cars). Limited breakfast, but enough to get you going in the morning. A little noisy at night if you have a room near the street.

Excellent room and location, the opportunities that I see are that if you stay on the first floor, you hear the steps of the upper floor and the breakfast is very basic (if you eat too much) but you have an ihop in front.

Book early and pay when you book but on the day of checkout made me extra charges I don't recommend it.

Neglected, old, poor predisposition of the employees. The room is very small and the mattresses are in poor condition. The only thing salvageable is the breakfast that I still lack many things.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel and well located. This is the option, the relation price quality is quite good. Some rooms are poorly located and are therefore dark or noisy, but they are paying a price economical. The breakfast is good. The attention we also.

Very good location, nice but the facilities are not very good.

Worst experience My family and I have ever had. My sister's purse was stolen from the room overnight with all the family inside the room. Strangely the front desk called to say they found her purse in room 225, 3 rooms down from us. Although Nothing was stolen from the purse, it is mind blowing that a stranger broke into our room with our kids sleeping. Management or people at front desk was stupid and arrogant about the whole situation. This is NOT a secure a place.

Good location to the walk of fame, plenty of fast food places close by. The hall ways smelled a bit musty, rooms were reasonable sized, the pool was also an added bonus. Free parking on site also a nice option. The whole exterior could do with a water blast and a fresh paint job.

Rooms were okay for it being a Days Inn, clean, free of smell, updated. Right next to a "In and Out burger". They have gated parking for your car.

Rooms are spacious for the cost, continental breakfast is fine, very helpful and polite employees. Wi-Fi is terrible however.

Quick check-in with very clean rooms. The parking garage below was a bit tight to get into. The breakfast was fine as well.

It was a bad ever experience in LA, extremely small room with no proper AC and telephone lines. Lot of noise from all other rooms of banging etc. Overall very uncomfortable hotel. Think before you choose.

Close to everything but rooms tiny, pool not heated. Breakfast small, rude employees, elevator is sketchy, rooms not available until after check in time. I would never come back. DONT STAY ON SUNSET its dirty and creepy.

I stayed here two nights it was horrible. Customer service sucked. The elevator was not working when I first got there. My room was not clean and there were ROACHES! Not just small one these were HUGE. They were almost the size of my hand. I went down to let the staff know and they said I'm sorry but house keeping isn't here they left for the day. They even told me that its common to have roaches in the rooms. Like really? I looked for other hotels in the area and they were booked that's the only reason why I stayed there. I wanted to talk to the manager but he would not contact me back. I would NOT recommend this to anyone!

The days Inn Hollywood is conveniently, has free Parpklätze and a super location just near by the walk of Fame.

We stayed in this hotel because was close to hospital, worst mistake. Nasty, smelled of urine and was filthy. Carpets in the hall way look to have never been cleaned. the bathtub has some brown nasty coating in it, like is was used and not cleaned. Then we asked for a extra pillow and blanket took over an hour to get, called them 2 times. people in front office rude. then the pillow was dirty when we finally got it. called and complained to manager, they offered a discount on our next stay Like I would even think of coming back. Save your money! we will never be staying in another days inn ever. This is just horrable customer service,

Looks clean but is very poorly maintained. I had allergic reactions to dust mites. My partner (non allergic) was also coughing when moving around and reported shortness of breath. If you need a very clean environment this is NOT the place to go.

Stayed here over spring break. Very easy access to Hollywood Boulevard. Walking distance. Lots of stuff to see. Very affordable, for a family of four.

The room and bathroom was somewhat small, comfy king bed and everything is walking distance. The owners were somewhat strange but we never got bothered or had any problems while staying there. It's not the bestest but its in a great location I would stay again.

So far so good and thankfully no bed bugs! Room is clean and the carpeted floor is not a scary sight. They won a quality service award 2010 and it shows.

This was one of the worst Hotels I've ever stayed in! On entering intially it looks professional and clean but the rooms are very shabby and poorly maintained. THEN THERE ARE THE BED BUGS! Couldn't sleep because of them, got moved to another room and they were still crawling all over me! The front desk staff were ignorant, rude and did not care about any of the guests. Plenty of good Hotels in Hollywood, AVOID.

We travelled from Australia. Pay no attention to negative reviews here. We stayed here TWICE in Sept-Oct 2008. The place is spotless, the service was good and friendly. Yes you pay a fee to use car park but there is no alternative because street parking is all metered and you WILL be towed if meter runs out so paying to park is no problem. The breakfast supplied is great and convenient, the dining area is clean and pleasant. The room price was reasonable. So what if the lift is a little small. You don't sleep in it! The rooms were comfortable with fridge and coffee maker (two items scarce in many US hotels unless you pay extra). The hotel is within easy walking distance to main tourist strip and a short drive to famous rock clubs. There's plenty of food outlets nearby as is a huge supermarket. A convenient laundromat is less than one block away. We will stay there again.
