I may have posted before but I love this place and can’t wait to revisit! Very nice, close to the Hollywood Bowl and very accommodating. Made my first trip to LA a blast and I hope to return soon. I’m recently married and hoping to nudge my husband in this direction! :-)

Ok, I'm not a person who writes reviews but this place is great. Your hotel is right in the middle of everything. You walk out the door and through the drive area of Lowe's Hollywood Hotel and you're right in the middle of Hollywood and Highland. If you have never been to Hollywood like us, this is a big site. You can walk to the TLC theater and all the tours so don't waste your money asking them to pick you up. The rooms are huge. They used to be apartments. They have a full kitchen including a microwave, kcup machine and toster oven. Having the kitchen was really nice for making breakfast. This is a great value especially if are traveling with other couples, they have a private room and a sofa bed… you are not cramped. The living room is filled sized. They have a washer and dryer on site and parking as well… the parking is covered in a garage. Oh and their rooftop garden is super cute! We will be back. Great location and value!

Stayed there MANY years ago and still have great memories of the Orchid Suites. Great location. Glad to see your still around, I’d definitely stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful experience staying here the week before this past. Reasonable rates, very clean rooms, very friendly service, lady preparing the continental breakfast was especially wonderful and so friendly and hugged us when we left and said "see you next year! " Such a wonderful experience, as opposed to our experience a few days later at a hotel in San Francisco that we paid double the nightly fee for and had rude, unfriendly front desk clerks and 0 amenities. Not even anywhere to plug in a coffee pot. Would highly recommend Hollywood Orchid Suites and stay there again anytime.

The pillows were soft, there’s a kitchen that you can do the the the light cooking or heat ur leftovers. There are free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast. Parking fee is Low, you can do laundry at the basement and the venue is smack right in the middle of Hollywood and it’s so convenient to go anywhere else. Will definitely stay here if I come to Los Angeles again!

We were very happy with our stay. Great sized rooms with full size facilities. We cannot speak highly enough of Patricia The Queen of The Breakfast Buffet! She is deserving of 6 stars for her warm & friendly manner and was always making us feel well attended.
The location is great with only a quick walk to the heart of Hollywood Blvd and far enough away from the crowds to be relatively quiet. The pool was a lovely way to relax after our days trekking and was kept sparkling clean with lots of towels on hand. Overall we are happy to recommend this establishment for the traveling family. Very local downtown LA Hotel, nice and clean; with pool and Wi-Fi; own garage for parking.
Friendly and service minded staff all over. Especially Patricia who serve breakfast, she do not only served the breakfast but do also ensure that all guests are feeling good and are happy We did feel the danish Hygge when Patricia was around.

This place is located right behind the Chinese theater. Great location. The rooms were exactly as advertised. Very clean, safe, great parking, decent breakfast. Very happy with it here!

I loved this place! The room was great and they had the friendliest staff I've ever seen! I'll definitely be staying there again! It's even within walking distance of shopping, and Hollywood Blvd!

A cute hotel in the city centre of Hollywood. Courteous staff, and a comfortable accommodation with a modest breakfast. We stayed here in April 2018. I recommend this hotel for sight seeing tourists.

A really good central location to Hollywood Boulevard. Clean, friendly and good sized rooms. Would struggle to find anywhere with the amenities, location and price to match.

Good priced Hotel You should consider that you are a step away from the Paseo de la Fama, Chinese Theatre, the Dolby. Say hello to the breakfast lady. 's The best.

100% would stay again. Perfect location when staying in Hollywood; just a short ride share to everything you want to see, but parking is pretty cheap if you have a car. Excellent staff! Concierge and breakfast coordinator genuinely care that you enjoy your stay and have a good time. Charming lobby and pool area. Note that the walls are thin, however this was never an issue for our three night stay. Street noise can get loud if staying on the front side of the building, especially if there is an event at the Dolby next door. Roof patio is phenomenal, and there is a pretty decent view, too! They even have facilities to wash your clothes if you’re staying awhile. Hollywood Orchid is like a home away from home!

Amazing location, wonderful staff, nice large and clean rooms. You are honestly steps away from Hollywood Blvd, the Chinese Theatre, Highland/Hollywood shopping complex and more. You're even at the foot of the Hollywood Hills so do the Runyon Canyon walks white you're there. Car park is safe and the rooms are relatively quiet considering the location. Just a great place to stay, you won't regret it. Oh and Patricia is amazing! A chat with her is a great way to start your day!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Great location. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Patricia at breakfast was a great way to start each day. Helped with information regarding public transport etc. Family accomodation certainly recommended. We are in the USA for a month and our stay at the Orchids has been the best choice to date.

We had a great experience during our stay. Excellent service! Staff was wonderful, especially Patricia. Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Good continental breakfast every morning. One block from Hollywood Blvd. 6 minutes to Universal Studios. 10 minutes from Warner Bros. Studio. Lots of different restaurants nearby. We have already made reservation to stay again in Feb. Highly reccomend this place.

Ideal location in downtown Hollywood, but quiet and deserted, the street rests in the back side of the "Dolby Theatre", so it is not very popular for cars to the Metro 1 minute, to the Chinese Theater 2, breakfasts without revelations, Wi-Fi from 2009, there are Pool.

Friendly front desk, excellent facilities. A great place to stay if you are travelling as a group.

Had an amazing stay at the Hollywood Orchid Suites recently. It is ideally located, with Hollywood Boulevard just a brief walk away. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It truly is like a home away from home, can't recommend the Hollywood Orchid highly enough! Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself in LA again. P. S. Patricia the breakfast lady is the best! Would have taken her home with us if we could!

A real gem of a hotel, right in the heart of LA. We thought it was going to be too good to be true, but it wasn't! It was clean and tidy. Quiet, despite its location. Comfy beds. Big rooms. Warm pool. Well appointed kitchen and friendly staff. Well done. Don't change a thing.

INCREDIBLE location! Steps away the bustling Hollwood Blvd, but quiet and safe! Rooms are apartment style with full kitchens, refreshing pool, rooftop terrace, breakfast, and more! Huge fan of this hotel, have been coming here for years and can't wait to go back!

Perfect location to get around hollywood without costing a fortune. Its just off the main street so quiet. The breakfast is adequate and they have a computer which u can print from.

Great hotel, great staff and great location! Rooms are very spacious and the kitchens have everything you need in them. Beds very comfortable. Roof top garden was a hidden sanctuary where you could just sit and relax. Even the pool was great. There was a wide variety of items for breakfast, even my fussy daughter found something to eat! Location was perfect. Within 2 minutes walk you were on Hollywood Blvd or Hollywood & Highland Mall. But also far enough away from the noisy traffic. Staff are just the best! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend this hotel and if we're ever back in LA then we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located in the centre of everything, I want to go to all the sites are very close. We're just checking in, while warm welcome, we also can call out our name, we have been told our room from a normal standard room upgrade to Suite. Check-in lady was very friendly, lead us to where we want to go, there are a lot of recommendations and there opinions. Room super clean, spacious and bright.

Holly wood orchid suites was a fantastic choice. It has large rooms including kitchens a little dated but clean and containing everything you would need. The location to Hollywood is perfect with plenty of choices nearby. If you are doing typical tourist stuff one or two nights are needed at most!

This was the first time we have stayed at Hollywood Orchid Suites. (We have in the past stayed at Hollywood Liberty Hotel in the same street however that hotel has had multiple price increases over the past year). We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were a good size, clean and quite. The location is great (1 minute walk to Hollywood Boulevard and the train station & bus stop). The free breakfast was good (toast, coffee, cereal, juice etc), the staff were extremely friendly and helpful). There a nice pool and deckchairs in the garden. The only downside was that hotels Wi-Fi was not working for a couple of days. Thanks to all the staff. We will be back.

Quite good places. The best thing about it is so near from the walk of frame and other attractions.

Its location is great to reach the major attractions of l. A. And is next to the metro. "Continental" and small pool for guests to relax and unwind. Rooms (at least ours) is very spacious with well equipped kitchen.

We stayed here in July 2011 and had a wonderful time. This hotel is tucked away behind the Kodak Theatre, and we felt very secure staying here (they even have secure underground parking). The room we had was very spacious, and it was much better than being cramped in a regular hotel room somewhere. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed it so much we are staying here again in 3 weeks (August 2012). I did not know it at the time, but the week we are going to be there is the 50th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe's death. Should be a wonderful time once again.
