Rooms are small and updated but still felt old. We had double beds that felt like they barley fit. The manager was odd and asked for cash for parking immediately after charging our card for the room instead of asking if we wanted to charge parking with our room. The location is amazing and in the heart of everything. We walked to the Pantages theater and it was about a ten minute walk. We haven't made it to breakfast yet but it looks to be a pretty basic continental breakfast.

The owner of this place was very rude and almost seemed racist towards us. We had just arrived to LA and we needed to stay somewhere with our luggage for a few hours until our 3:00 PM Airbnb check-in time. We were not going to stay there for the night but we were more than willing to pay for a room at a full-day stay rate so we could stay somewhere for a few hours. I saw that this Motel listing online was for $94 and would come to a total of $107 after taxes. I called to ask if they had a room available at that exact moment (10:06 AM) he said “yes. ” When I told him that I’ll be there in 15 mins he said that they were still cleaning the room and it would take 30 mins. I told the owner that we did not mind waiting with our luggage in the lobby until the room was ready. When we arrived I told the guy that we had just spoke over there phone and he’s like “yeah the room will be ready in 10 mins” And I told him that it was fine we don’t mind waiting. So I asked him for the total and he said “well if you check in before 12 PM it’s $145 and if you check in after 12 PM it’s $125” I told the guy that the listing online said otherwise and he didn’t tell me that the check-in time mattered over the phone. Then he started to change his prices and started raising his voice at us saying that we would have to pay extra because he could easily sell the room to someone else.

Legend Hotel Hollywood is a quaint hotel located at the intersection of N Cahuenga Boulevard and Yucca Street. It's technically a motel with the word "Hotel" in it's name. I like this place because three stores which I visit quite frequently not only walking distance but directly across the street. 7-11 is next door. Panda Express is across the street. And a 24 hour CVS is adjacent to Panda Express. The rooms in the motel are decorated with memorabilia featuring such stars ad Charlie Chaplin, & Uta Hagen. Beds are comfortable, rooms are similar to Motel 6 but a notch higher in decor. Everything else in the room as far as configuration is pretty much the same. Continental breakfast in the lobby.

Great place! As Long as you got your own Plumbing before you show up! Careful of the loose needles hanging around. Also the $20 parking is limited so you might pay for a spot that isn't available! Other than that coffee is great! And the guest and staff were nice.

Great Hotel have stayed many times in the past, always a positive experience, staff is great, breakfast buffet has many things to choose from, wait staff are very Nice as is the entire staff Great pool area, Rooms are Comfortable and well taken care of, walking distance to restaurants,

The management sucks. I paid 230 for one bed, the room wasn’t that bad. The only reason I am giving it a 3 is because of the cleaning ladies. They were so nice and helpful!

They keep unsecured customers information. Including a photocopy of your licence and credit card. When I asked him what they did with them he said they were filed for 3 years. In the morning I witness the front desk clerk looking at last night's photocopys if these people aren't selling identites then they are just cheap because for 200+ a night this information should be encrypted. The clerk says it's been this way for 15 years, probably time to upgrade security. Cancelling cards today thanks for nothing.

The rooms are nice but the bed and sheets have unpleasant odor to them. There is a parking fee of $20 for EACH vehicle and space is limited. The parking lot and entrance are very tight in space so they don't allow trucks and suvs in the motel parking lot. They make you park down the street in a public parking lot. There should be a sign before the entrance stating that trucks and suvs should not enter due to the tight space. It would make things easier and help prevent accidents from happening.

Very well kept simple motel. Room very clean and recently renovated.

Best staff thr front desk guy eas great. THE coffee was hot. Highly reccomend it while in LA.

The management is absolutely a no go! Very rude and displaced! The rooms look good but you can tell they were done very cheaply, out of four plugs only one worke. Not to mention the breakfast — very lean — a banana and an apple and some cereal. 20 Dollars for the parking and the Wi-Fi was bad too! If you can, find another hotel or boutique hotel. Don’t, don’t waste your money!

Absolutely terrible, fees for absolutely everything, they can't just simply take your card payment, pay the deposit pay the room and then you have the room! There's all kinds of fees for all kinds of things there's a shitting fee there's a flushing fee there's a breathing fee there's a drinking fee there's a telephone fee there's a fee for sitting down fees for everything and they can't even take your money traditionally like everyone else. The put money on hold and void and recharge and double charge and then the amount you go to pay online is not the actual price because guess why? THERE IS MORE FEES! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! AND I MEAN TOTALLY TERRIBLE!

Found this place when I was struggling at the air bnb I was at… it's nice. A room with king bed meant for two was nice just having it for myself but would fit two well. Location is great… close to Hollywood Blvd and metro station. I can only give it 3 stars because there is no hot water for the shower… only warm no matter which way you work the faucet. Also wasn't the cleanest for my opinion… stains on sheets and head board had grease stains. But overall pretty nice stay for a solo traveler like myself trying to save money.

Modern, very clean and comfortable, room decoration is beyond expectations.! Right off the Hollywood walk of fame, close to everything with excellent staff.

Bad things: Breakfast. It was not anything speciel. Cereal, oat, yogurt, danish. Good coffee! No bread or waffle : ( Good things: The room is very nice! Mordern, big soft bed, TV with a lot of channels, good AC (low noice and efficient)

A lot of food places around in the area as well No cockroaches at all! I always look at a lot of reviews before I go to a place so I hope this one helps others! I think for the price, you could't ask for more.

Very nice rooms but this place did not have enough parking for their guest. On top not that, they charge $20 for everyday you stay to park your car. Even if you don't get a spot, you can still park on the property but you still have to pay. Free breakfast is just cereal, yogurt, danish.

Big ass roaches you would think this Chicago and the hotel room smell like wet dogs it's not worth the money Ppl.

Big cockroaches everywhere the manager is not interested in refunding money for them the showers smelled like pee and I had to change rooms three times in two days this is the worst hotel in Hollywood to pay 175 a night for I would never come back and I recommend you never to sleep here there are motel 6's that are better than this.

It's in a really good location close to Hollywood strip, close to Universal Studios, and All the extractions. However, the first day they made me park somewhere away from the hotel in a public lot because the parking at the hotel was "full" however, I made reservations to stay there a month in advance. Also they made me pay for parking… Big spider in bath tub…

It was really nice, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. They guys who ran it was really nice and good coffee. And everything was within walking distance that you would want to see or go out to eat. I would definitely stay again.

This hotel I awesome! The rooms are very clean, a nice size, and very modern "Hollywood" feel. The price is incomparable! We stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't ask for more. Guaranteed parking if you pay for it. I will be staying at Legend Hollywood every time I am in LA.

The place is very well designed. THe backdrop behind the bed was a large diffuser for sound. I immediately took note of the fact that the room was sound treated to some extent. The neighbors had music blasting, and I could not hear it until they opened their door. Great place. Nice easy stay and great way to pass the days… nice and easy.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the manager. My account is all messed up from them having a hold and then also taking more funds out. He was extremely rude and got loud with me a few times. However, the morning guy was friendlier and the room was really nice. The parking was limited, but they didnt tell us we could only have one car until the second car got there. I probably won't go back. He almost ruined my NYE.

Love this hotel! Close to Universal Studios and my boyfriend and I have season passes so it's nice knowing there is a comfortable hotel we can go to after a long day. The outside is deceiving but once you get your room key the room is very quaint and comfortable. You get your own little studio like apt room detached from other rooms so you don't get the noise next door and no one above or below you. The guys at the front desk are very nice and actually care. They called while we were at universal to make sure we were still coming instead of just giving our room away since we weren't going to be there till later. Overall we will be staying here again. This place books up fast so book as soon as you can!

Clean and nice looking rooms and decent breakfast. Just have to find parking on the street because parking lot is small.

Legend hotel was great. The rooms are clean and spacey. Parking lot is a little tight if you are going to park. Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants bars. Would defj itely recommend.

The hotel owner was very polite, the rooms were re renovated to a new modernized look/feel. Prices were pretty fair. They were however, a little small but still, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Also a very convenient location!

Wow; these rooms are as posh as the Hilton or the W. It has an upscale artsy side to it. I don't know about the the rooms but I just checked in and love it. Definitely worth the price; although staff may be disconcerting but I think it's because they clearly don't speak English.

Good little motel close to walk of fame.

I've been to this place about 5 times now. People are exaggerating. If a hotel is 60-70 dollars don't expect the best things. The service isn't horrible but they hardly speak English. Just keep the conversation short and you'll be fine. Your cars are safe here, the rooms are clean, the shower water is good, the beds are comfortable but DO bring pillows because the ones they have are small. The room comes with queen bed (s), a table with two chairs, a mini fridge, open closest space (better described as a hanging rod), two night stands, and a clean bathroom. Definitely worth $60-70. Don't book ahead of time, I never have so I don't know that experience but past reviews make it seem like a bad idea. Just as for a room the day of, I always do and they always have rooms. :).

De desk service is really horrible. The clerc was unfriendly most of the time, and the service is terrible. It feels like they hate their jobs. The location is good and the rooms are ok, but the service is the worst i've ever experienced.

The worst customer service. I called to cancel my reservation and the desk clerk told me that I couldn't cancel the reservation. After discussing this with him he informed me that I would have to cancel the reservation within 24 hours. I informed the clerk that it was within 23 hours 30 minutes and he informed me that I still could not cancel the reservation. I asked to speak with the hotel manager and he refused to let me speak with the manager and he refused to let me speak to the motel manager. I again requested to speak with the manager and the clerk hung up on me. I called back and informed him that I am canceling the reservation, the clerk decided to tell me that he had been in the motel business for over 40 years and then he hung up on me again. The worst experience I have ever experienced from a clerk. I would not stay at this motel now knowing how they treat their guest.

Wonderful service, rooms exceptionally clean, excellent value.

This hotel was very clean and close to Hollywood strip. I recommend for anyone one a budget.

Super location close to the Hollywood Blvd.
Still good price relationship.
Also the room was very nice. Parking in front of the room.
