Terrible experience! I used their valet service and my car was stolen. The worker gave my car to a random man who supposedly knew the last name on my reservation and room number. No one could have known that unless the front desk gave him that information, which is a safety issue on its own. I filed a police report and spoke to the officers for a couple of hours. I was exhausted and asked the hotel manager if I could have a complimentary night. He gave me a hard time and instead offered a discounted night. His staff was responsible for losing a $50k car. I didn't think a free night was a lot to ask for. The whole situation seemed very sketchy. This is a 4-star hotel. Things like this should NEVER happen.

Just finished up a 5 day stay at this location. From the second we arrived to the second we checked out everyone we met was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would highly recommend this location.

Hotel was great! However the valet parking had our group to wait over an hour for the vehicle to be told that the vehicle keys were lost and we would need to request a taxi by the supervisor🤔 This was handled very unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful for the money that was spent for our hotel stay.

This is one of the best hotel ever, everything is so clean and beautiful rooms, the people that work here go out there way to make sure that you have everything you need. 😀 I'm a happy person, very romantic too,

Rates are ridiculous, in the nasty part of downtown, parking rates are ridiculous. No fridge in the rooms. Never will book here again. Im not sure why people give this hotel 4 stars. I picked it on the ratings people gave, I dont believe these are true reviews. Never again, very disappointed and irritated. And a very dusty coffee pot without giving you any water for it.

This hotel was perfect! All the staff were so helpful. The room is hip/modern and the bathrooms are amazing. Definatley get a drink at the bar, our bartender Sara was delightful! The restaurant has great food as well.

The room was really nice. The bathroom was sparkling. The public spaces were clean. The location is really convenient to Staples Center and the convention center. It was a perfectly reasonable walking distance.

We stayed here at the Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown, for our wedding eve and wedding night and can't say enough great things about the hotel and the staff! I arrived solo the day before my wedding and they knew exactly who I was and showed me around the place and walked me to my room. It's not very often that the staff will personally walk you to your room and make sure that you have every thing that you need. They gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding, and just went above and beyond to help us with some other details and accommodating some visitors. The hotel itself is gorgeous, super comfy and very unique. I love how eclectic and modern that it is, but still has a sense of coziness. The linens and bed were amazing, loved the products and also the wide variety of wines and snacks to choose from (that weren't super overpriced). If you like unique and personal experiences, Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown, is definitely worth the price and I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Our stay was five days. We had a great time during that time. The employees were fantastic. The food was great. Nice Los Angeles location. Better than the Disneyland location. Next time we plan to stay here two weeks.

Cool vibe, unique. This location has become my downtown LA home-away-from-home, replacing long time fave Courtyard. Key, of course, is dependability — services, offerings, level of service — for weary business travelers. Lobby bar, backed by nice restaurant, nicely laid out, both with good food. Comfortable, too. Fun people watching! Room service good, pricey of course, men varied but light on salads or vegan offerings. (Note dog lovers who bring the furry family member — room service has a doggy menu. ) I especially like the room decor with the chaise, dresser/buffet, and the wardrobe. (Why no tub tho? ) A few pix… You'll enjoy the uniqueness of the property!

This hotel was so lovely! We drove from Iowa to Los Angeles and arrived earlier then we expected so we needed a place to stay for the night. This hotel was amazing. We had delicate stuff in the vehicle that's extremely submissive to heat so they left it in the shade right next to the valet parking counter the entire night. Absolutely fantastic service and I suggest when booking a room to include the breakfast rate. The buffet was delicious. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel is ideal for the Bridesmaids party to me. Or a slightly more glitzy stay near LA Live. The best part about the room is luxurious bed. Other than that sometimes things are a little bit glamorous without being practical. For example in our room we only had one trash can in the bathroom. Also the shower is big but only one small handheld nozzle. Seemed like something was missing to push it over the edge into a true four star hotel. But I will say this service has been excellent, friendly, and quick.

We stayed at this hotel for a total of four nights. From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, the experience was terrific. The hotel was extremely clean and very well maintained. The elevators are very cool, each elevator has a different design inside. The staff was also very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located downtown within a very short distance from all the major highlights in LA. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it. I've stayed at the Indigo in Anaheim and thought that was nice but this is way nicer. The fact that the hotel is only a year old probably helps but everything was in fantastic condition. The bathroom was really nice in the rooms. The pool was nice as well. We didn't use the valet parking as I believe it was about $50 a night and we didn't want to have to keep getting the car as we were driving a bit. There's 2 parking garages on the same street that are the same price/a little cheaper. My only real complaint is the front desk wasn't super friendly when we checked in but he was alone and checking a lot of people in.

This place is nice on the inside and outside but when it comes to customer service, which is what a hotel (hospitality industry) is, they are the worst I’ve ever experienced. They will not work with you. I had to ask for a trash can in the room 4 times, was told if I wanted a spoon to eat the yogurt I purchased at the hotel that I can just go down to the lobby and get one myself. The hotel manager is the worst excuse for a manager, more like a nightclub bouncer. They damn near slammed the entrance door in my 14 year old sister’s face and when she asked for an apology, they refused. Hospitality is their number one default! I was also charged nearly double the listing price after taxes and fees along with a whopping $50 valet fee. Such a lame excuse for a hotel. Never again!

The staff here is helpful and friendly. The room service was prompt, but my steak was not hot when I received it. The "store" in the lobby is convenient, self checkout is easy, it you can pay the front desk associates as well. The rooms are well equipped, and even near the elevator I had no issues with noise. I couldn't hear the construction taking place in front of the hotel. The beds are comfortable.

We were there for a night but the customer service was great from beginning to end. My husband and I and another couple would like to acknowledge Ruben for being attentive and helpful and made our stay a memorable one. We were there March 2nd to March 3rd 2018 to celebrate our birthdays! Thank You Ruben for your excellence service and great hospitality. We will return for sure.

What a gem in downtown Los Angeles! We originally booked here because we were going to be traveling with our dog… very dog friendly! But due to a last minute change we arrived without our dog. What a wonderful, incredibly fascinating hotel. Only open a year, this place was amazing. Everything was so thoughtfully executed in the planning stages.
USB ports on the headboard, fantastic views, great food, playful and intriguing decor.
Ask anyone on staff about the backstory. Very interesting.
Ride a different elevator every time and see how they are decorated. Look up in the lobby and all around. Even the room hallways are fun.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff. Located right by the staples center in the heart of downtown. Unfortunately unless you have business downtown the location is not the best as you are quite far away from most of the sites and fun things to do in Los Angeles. Valet parking was also somewhat expensive but given the parking situation in LA was pretty reasonable especially because we were able to take our car in and out as much as we wanted.

I liked it. But the front desk people are unfriendly and have no orientation to the tourist. It is a hotel for work people or couples. The room is girl for 4 and the shower comes out very little water pressure. The hotel's facilities are modern and luxurious. Parking Restaurant and hotel services totally overpriced. What he rescued is Ruben who is always in the lobby and speaks Spanish, is the only one who knows RRATAR the tourist and the Latino public.

Fancy place to blow cash. On approximately $180 a night, expect to pay $47 for parking which basically is 1/3 of your hotel stay, not including taxes and fees and surcharges, and you are still in the middle of nowhere. Two bars available, one on the ground floor and the other on the top floor. Great view of a concrete city under construction. But then again, if you can come here and afford a place like this, what's $250 a day to you? Nothing. A total drop in the bucket, right? Nice interior designs. Something pleasant to look at.

Newer hotel close by to everything in LA Live. Bed were super comfortable. Room was clean with some up to date decor. Service was friendly and quick. Bar on the top floor has a great view. Would stay again.

The decor is clever. The staff very friendly. The were OK with Ginger (my small dog with large personality). The lighting is well thought out — end tables that at night have a motion sensor that lights the edge of the table, as soon your feet hit the side of the bed. Another plus is that it's located quieter part of downrown.

Really, I’d say 3.5 stars. New hotel. Pluses: beautiful room, decent size, bathroom and shower very good. Great view of downtown. Bed was way comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi available on fourth floor, very nice. Minuses: one small trash receptacle ONLY and it was in the bathroom. A remote to work everything. NO mini bar or snacks or water and complimentary nothing. Ordered a bottle of champagne and it took well over an hour before delivered. Thaw decor and ambience was very modern, chic, cool. I would stay here again, but didn’t love, love this crib.

Very nice atmosphere and accomodations. Rooms have great views of the city and surrounding areas. View immediately outside is not anything to write home about, but the lobby area is always clean and posh. The staff is kind and considerate; they helped with questions about the hotel, as well as the surrounding area. Breakfast can be expensive, but the buffet has a decent selection and tastes good. The room provided ample space for two and was very clean. Would recommend and would return.

Great hotel. Unfortunately, their mandatory valet parking was a little pricey for my standards. I wound up parking across the street. The hotel room itself was gorgeous, but the doors are heavy and you can hear people above and below coming in and out. The bar downstairs seems to be pretty popular amoung the locals and it was kind of hard to get the bartender' s attention. Waited About 10 minutes to place an order. Otherwise, this is an overall good hotel though and I would stay again to see if they've worked out all their kinks.

We arrived before check-in but still let us in early. The Valet was great they assisted us with all our luggage and we're very friendly. The customer service was great. Since it was our wedding weekend they even upgraded our room to a junior suite! The rooms were clean and any services needed were provided as soon as possible. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. Thank you Hotel Indigo.

I've stayed at several 4+ star hotels in downtown LA and this place is the best! Its super sleek and I love the atmosphere. The design team did an awesome job. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot instantly. The food downstairs was on point and service was great and casual. 1 thing… The a/c kept making a slight noise when it kicked on.

After an extremely difficult day, I arrived the hotel to be greeted by an extremely friendly staff at the front desk. They instantly did everything within their power to make the rest of my evening positive. The room was clean and comfortable, well stocked with extra amenities, and had a great view of the lights of the city. The door staff and the staff at the lobby bar, were just as amazing as the front desk employees. It was apparent that everyone I interacted with enjoyed where they worked and what they did.

This is a very nice hotel. I was only there for a banquet for a few hours, but I found the facilities very comfortable and modern. The facilities are all beautiful, clean and in excellent condition as the hotel is only six months old. All hotel staff were pleasant and professional. Prices seem reasonable.

Starting from the begin to the end was amazing, thank you Megah (hope spelling right) she was wonderful, very professional and great customer service. The rooms are big and the bathroom are beautiful, the decorations of this hotel is spectacular. Choosing this hotel for my birthday was a dream come true. This hotel is close to a mall, supermarket and is close to the metro. The only thing I will recommend is more selection for food since it was very limited and really small plates for the price.

Trendy new hotel. It is small with a cozy feel. Nice decor. Close to LA Live and the Original Pantry. The pool area (4th floor) is nice, but needs a bartender or server. We had to go down to the lobby area bar to get a drink. Park in the public parking lot across the street if you want to avoid the $42 valet parking fee.

This hotel was an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is very modern and great comfortable amenities. The location near LA Live is also fantastic. I actually had to transition to this hotel at the last minute due to issues with a different hotel I initially reserved in advance. A different hotel in the area placed me in a room in which the toilet did not flush, the A/C did not cool the room and the condition of the room was very old. Allie helped me get a reservation at Hotel Indigo and provided absolutely top notch service. Just after initially talking to Allie, I knew this experience was going to be so much better. Even after getting the costs and seeing it would be more expensive than the one I was currently in, after the service Allie provided, I knew the experience would be worth it. When I arrived, Allie had already shared with Ebony about my experience and they made absolute sure I was squared away. Not only was the room extremely nice, but the service was amazing! I would highly recommend this hotel to someone staying in Los Angeles. And tell Allie and Ebony they are amazing!

Excellent hotel. The decor was a nice combination of modern with vintage tones. I don't know why they have so many hats on display but it was interesting. Nice exercise room and pool.

If I could give a 0 I would do it! The worst hotel ever. It even doesn't deserve two stars instead of four. Rude personelle, if you have an electric car never go there. They don't have a charger. I had to spend 1 hour to find the nearest charger station and leave my car at another hotel. The hotel promised me a complimentary parking but valet said they would still charge me. Never ever coming back!

Very nice and roomy rooms with comfortable beds minus the construction in the area… The stuff is very friendly and informative of most of the area when asking for an dining spot for lunch, brunch or dinner… I would say that was best part of vacation.

Great hotel. Fancy decor and friendly staff. Kind of a weird location to walk up to. They have a self serve self pay snack shop that's all automated and really fun and handy. Pool is clean, warm on a cold night.

The hotel is pretty new. The rooftop bar isn't open yet. I don't think their website said that. They have a pool but it is on the small side. We booked a room that said view and the view was not there. We asked for a change and the woman at desk did give us a better room. If you need to be in this part of LA it is a decent place to stay. Would I stay there again, probably not.

The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hostess made sure every request and inquiry was promptly seen to, and our server Jasmine was amazingly hospitable. She knows the area well and it's easy to see that this place will be a destination amogst boutique hotels in no time if they hire this well all across the board. The cocktails were very straightforward and tasty. The decor makes it feel very posh, but it isn't distasteful as so many other spots you'll find in downtown. I love the open concept seating near the bar, and the music is actually enjoyable. Will definitely be looking at this space for small events and cocktail hours in the future.

I went to the rooftop bar for a work event and it had a beautiful view of the city. The bar lounge was very nice. There was some quality seafood on their menu and the servers were very nice and welcoming.

Cool looking hotel in downtown LA. Floor to ceiling windows and a great shower. The whole place, especially the sixth floor hallway, had that new hotel smell. I found the self-service snack store in the lobby to be very convenient. I wish all hotels had such things.

Very nice hotel, but the night before our planned 3:45 AM departure for LAX, the hotel management knew that there would be a planned power outage from late in the night until 11:00 AM. They did not post notices or inform us. We learned about it when my medical device cut off and awakened us. I called the front desk and was told that the power failure was ". All over the city. " A glance out the window disproved this. The alarm clock in the room went dark when the power failed. I wonder if any guests relied upon those clocks to arouse them for early flights? If so, I wonder how the hotel handled their complaints about missing their flights. We made our flight; all that we lost was several hours of the five hours that we planned to sleep. We have not received an apology from the Indigo.

The rooms were very nice. They did not have The rooms that have been reserved ready when we arrived at 10pm.

This hotel is in an excellent location, with great rooms and an amazing view. Parking is a bit of an issue, either $42 per night valet parking (unlimited in and out) or paying at a local lot, but per each visit. Staff was courteous and attentive, and calling the front desk for anything you need is promptly taken care of. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Europe in LA. OMG I always thought indigo is more boutique hotel. But this one here I change my mind. We were so lucky to be the first corporate group in the hotel. Everything smelled fresh and new. They have an amazing carpet on the hallways and the hotel decor highlights the old era of LA. They play awesome music on the pool patio and marble is the main material throughout the hotel. The staff is amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Will return soon.

My husband, dog, and I stayed at Hotel Indigo and the service, rooms, and location were some of the best that we have experienced. The hotel itself is only about a month old so a few things are still under construction (pool and bar, to name two). The front desk staff were knowledgeable​ and friendly. The rooms​ are modern and have coffee makers, refrigerators​, and safes cleverly hidden in the furniture. There's a charge for leaving your vehicle overnight, and although I didn't know about that ahead of time, it makes sense once you see how accessible the city center is. There's also a charge for having a dog with you. I hope that there is another convention in Los Angeles again so that we can stay at Hotel Indigo in the future.

I booked a room for a quiet weekend for myself alongside the Festival of Books on their website for a 'superior room'. There were no available king-sized rooms, so no bathrooms with a bath nor a minibar. Just an expensive, albiet pretty, regular hotel room, with some packing peanuts still present on the furniture. When I called to ask the front desk about the superior room addition they told me they'd send someone up, so I sat and read for an hour — — nobody came. When I went down for dinner later, the staff at the desk apologized that they were overbooked and offered me a coupon for the restaurant — — in the end, the superior room add-on was at least 20 bucks and apparently totally ignored by the staff. It looks like they are giving the same rooms I stayed in away for half the price I paid on discount sites, which definitely makes me feel stupid and also still wondering what the superior room surprise they promote on the website was supposed to be? The top floor bar 18 Social is not finished, a note that is definitely missing on the website. My time at the ground level bar and restaurant was plagued by flies — — so much so that I requested to move to another area, but it didn't help. There was something wrong with their beer tap, and my beer ended up maybe two thirds full of beer with a very generous topping off foam.

Amazing Hotel with a great design. Ask their staff about the neighborhood story and you will be fascinated. They have an amazing lobby bar with the best drinks, and the food at the restaurant is to die for! (make sure you get the bacon wrapped dates. They are life changing). I have been to many hotels in the downtown area but Hotel Indigo is my favorite.
