I have a few cons to this visit, One the price was overpriced for this time around I stayed before the same amount of time and over the weekend and it was $40-$60 dollars more and the price was going up way higher for a second person. Would like to see a consistent and fair price next time. Second con last time they allowed earlier check in I arrived at 8am from a 4 hour drive and they said check in isn't til 3pm. I had an event an hour away at 12pm and needed to check in early and said they couldn't allow early check in even thou multiple people where leaving and seen housekeeping finishing lots of rooms. I recommend changing the check in time, on the day I left I seen many guests outside the lobby with there luggage waiting to be checked in. Third con there isn't any hair soap that's the first I ever seen a hotel not provide that. The room was clean, the staff was okay could have been friendlier the noise wasn't bad. The only odd thing I heard pounding at 3 am at my door then going door to door, I didn't open the door so I'm unsure what that was. I don't think it was the hotel as they didn't say anything. The location is great.

This place is fantastic. You have luxuries you do not pay for. I kind from Long Beach and stay in a motel there if I tell you it was a dump homeless wouldn't live in it. It cost the same price so this place is reasonably priced the rooms are very clean, very The housekeeping is good and very helpful. The rooms are decorated nicely and have even a little table to sit at just to play cards or with your computer. The staff that work here at the regristration counter are great! They have gone out of their way, bent over backwards to assist me. I am disabled to a certain degree and they help me whenever I need it. All in all I give Motel 6, in beautiful Claremont, five stars rating with a plus by it! Thank you Motel 6 in Claremont and I will be enjoying more time with them. They are great and prices vary. Thank you again.

I called Saturday morning to ask about check in times. I was told any time after noon would be fine. That made me so happy because my mom is elderly and need to shower and change before a memorial. Well, of course that wasn't the case. My daughter got there and was told she couldn't check in. I called while driving up from San Diego. No, you cannot check in that early. Ugh. The stress starts. When I arrived she started calling around seeing of a room was available. Finally found 2. Yeah! problem is precious time was lost. It takes my mom a LONG time to get ready.

Literally one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Great management, friendly and attentive staff, safe facilities, tennis courts and pool, recently renovated, very clean, family and pet friendly, you name it. I have not had one bad or neutral experience here, only positive. They are consistently great. Walking distance of Starbucks and multiple restaurants and large grocery store.

I realize that the motel is being remodeled, but I was not told that there would be work going on at all hours during our two night stay. Thankfully this was not a problem to us as we are sound sleepers and we're a bit loud ourselves watching movies, playing video games and hanging out with friends that we were visiting. A few items that seemed unresolved before our check-in were a small hole in the door to the bathroom and that the door lock to the bathroom was not fully installed so it moved around a lot. Very minor missing items like shampoo in the bathroom that had to be asked for at the front desk and lastly I guess the staff was defrosting the freezer of the mini fridge or the last occupant left it open as the interior was very wet and dripping from the freezer section above. This caused us to use our bath towels to dry it up for our own use. The staff was very friendly and kind. And the room was everything we expected otherwise. I would definitely recommend this location to others as it is very convenient in location and I am sure once the work is done as that was the only major issue we experienced.

They have a lawn area for kids and animals to play on, and the motel is close to a grocery store, plenty of restaurants and a convenience store (all within walking distance). There was a small microwave and fridge in our room, which I assume are also in most other rooms. Laundry facility is open 24 hours. UPDATE: My family and I were told we could not stay at this Motel 6 again, without any explanation. We never bothered anyone and always left the room clean when we stayed there. We spent thousands of dollars renting rooms at this property and this is how we're treated?

When I phoned to make the reservation I requested a handicap room. I was told that there were none available so I told the person on the phone that I was handicapped and needed a ground floor room. I requested a room facing the pool since I have small dogs and it is the area with the grass. Upon checking in the man behind the desk said that I was in room 232. I told him that I could not do an upstairs room and he said that there were no ground floor rooms available. He even looked at my file and saw that I had requested a ground floor room but said that the rooms could not be held and that they were on a first come basis. Unfortunately, I was forced to take the upstairs room and had a terrible time going up and down the stairs and my husband, who is 81 years old, had to make several trips up and down each day without any help from me. As that first day went on we saw people check into a couple of ground floor rooms so the man on duty when I checked in lied to me. I have suffered severe hip pain due to having to walk up and down those steps and it is just lucky that I did not fall. This is a very large motel and it does not seem to have enough handicap rooms. We have stayed there before and never had a problem reserving a ground floor room but I have been told by the man when we checked in that the motel was under different management. If this is the case and they do not care about returning customers then we will not be staying there again.

Although we were forced to stay in a SMOKING room, the room smelled all right and seemed very clean. I missed a few of the amenities (like the hair dryer and a coffee maker), there was a Starbucks on the other side of the parking lot! I liked the way the room looked. The TV screen was large and worked well. The linens on the bed were comfortable.

I’m Always Blessed each month to stay here. I stay on Friday to rest for my Food Bank the following day where I distribute the food to the many people in Need. We just fed over 1, 100 people in the City of Montclair. Totally an Awesome experience!

Really enjoyed my stay. Great location. Beautiful grassy area. The room was so clean. It was also spacious. I did not feel crammed in. Thank you for such a nice facility and at a reasonable price.

Check in was fast and simple, guy at desk was friendly. The room was pretty clean and bed was fine. A/C super noisy. The room smelled so heavily of Febreeze I could taste it. I almost would prefer to smell the smell they were trying to cover. It gave me a headache and I didn't sleep.

Our experience was horrible, I had booked the room in advance due to a wedding we were going to that day. When we got there to check in, the lady said she only had the room reserved for one person, when I had booked the room for 2. She charged me 10 dollars extra for one person. She told us we had a choice between 2 rooms that were available, I chose one we wanted. Later that night when we went to go to our room our key card didn't work. We had to go at 10:30 at night to the lobby to complain, the man there didn't even apologize and said it was the woman before that helped us that made the mistake, she had made the key card for the other room she had offered when we checked in. We asked for a refund and the man said we couldn't get a refund. After 20 minutes of waiting for the man to give us new cards, we went to sleep and the whole night we heard thumping above us, in the early morning, we heard the maids rolling their carts and talking loudly. One even knocked on our door at 8 in the morning. Mind you, check out time is 11 o'clock! We are very unhappy with our visit and will not be staying at a Motel 6 ever again. I wanted a refund and we were denied, when we weren't happy with the place from the start. I am going to be calling the corporate office!

We come every year to attend the NASCAR race and have had excellent service from the staff, especially Steve Mercado. He has been so friendly and helpful which makes our stay so special. If not for the staff we would not be coming year after year. I also like that the rooms have been renovated and upgraded.

Hotel property is actually great for a Motel 6. Clean, recently remodeled rooms. Plenty of electrical outlets. Only issue was the games the front desk and management tried to play at check-in. Tried to pretend I had not indicated that I could not climb stairs on my reservation. I had. Tried to pretend that there were no ground floor rooms left. There were. Then attempted to charge me far beyond the online rate I had booked months in advance.

For a basic, inexpensive hotel, it's really not bad! Not what I was expecting from a Motel 6. Very modern decor, though basic. Beds were decently comfortable. Facilities are clean and well kept. Need more places to put suitcases and clothing (surfaces, dresser). Shower water was cold in the morning hours.

Great experience. Came to town for a class and stayed one night. The hotel itself is super cute and retro, the grounds were well kept and the cleaning staff and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was so clean! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on but it wasn’t too bad. It’s within walking distance of restaurants and a convenience store too which was great cause I didn’t have a rental car. I would totally stay here again.

I was surprised that a hair dryer, iron or any toilet items (except soap) were not included. I guess I am use to higher end hotels or I would have been better prepared. I have to positively recognize the clerk on duty that night. I somehow mistakenly requested a smoking room, but he was able to correct that even though the hotel was full.

I must say that I was pretty impressed. The rooms were very clean an well kept. If there was a problem the front desk came immediately to assist you. I would definitely recommend this Motel 6 Claremont for anyone who is looking for a quiet and nice area to stay. It’s in walking distance for fast food restaurants and reasonable grocery store. The only thing I would suggest is that they either start to take AAA discount like most or if someone stays more than 2-3 days during week give a discounted rate. Other than that my stay was great.

Front office help was very good, room was large and the bed was excellent. Room was clean, everything worked. Bathtub needs to be replaced, cracked and old. Grounds were clean and well maintained.

Room was fine, clean, as expected. Nothing fancy but perfectly serviceable and I do like the new remodel. Cleaning staff did a good job. Location is very convenient. I wish there was a coffee maker in the room, but for the low cost of the room I can stand the walk to the lobby to get my first cup of the day. I also need to remember that there is no shampoo or conditioner offered… again, not a big deal since the price is right! My only issue was with the night staff. They didn't seem to be very well trained. I had a reservation for two nights (12/23 and 12/24), and checked in about 10 pm on 12/23. The night clerk took my credit card, ran it through, and then said, "You are staying 3 nights, right? " I said no, just two. He did not know how to void out my charge. I had to go back to the lobby the next morning to have the manager take care of the incorrect charge. The night of the 24th, I walked to the lobby around 10 pm again, there was a different clerk at the desk. I asked if I could have an extra pillow. He said he didn't know where they were, and couldn't help me. Neither of these two run-ins are a deal-breaker, I would stay there again. But you might need to work on training your night staff so that they are more helpful to your clientele. Thanks very much!

The room was clean and well appointed. It was very appropriate for a one night stay. However, I could not locate the TV remote. No big deal since I used my phone instead. Otherwise it is a great place to stay.

An excellent choice for the Claremont area! Rooms are spacious and clean, the grounds well tended, friendly staff. It's not luxury, but clean and functional. It's a great place if you're traveling with dogs — big lawn area and space to walk. Remember to bring your own shampoo!

Fastest check in I’ve ever had. Absolutely the best housekeepers at a motel 6 I’ve been to. They were early, fast and accommodating since we had 3 dogs there for a dog show. Comfortable clean beds. I always take my own pillow and didn’t even use it!

Location is great! Right off the fwy and restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean and from where our room was located, it was quiet. The only con I had was the sound of the air conditioner when it turned on and the remote for the TV didn't work, but other than that, it is a great place to stay for it's value.

We enjoyed our stay in our clean simple room. It had just what we needed for a night's stay (microwave, refrigerator, cable television, wi fi, clean towels & linens). We had access to good restaurants nearby. Helpful staff. I highly recommend staying here if you're ever in the Claremont area, and need a place to spend the night.

We arrived at the Motel 6 in Claremont exhausted from a 6 hour flight to LAX followed by a one hour drive to Claremont. We were greeted by a cheerful and helpful front desk person who put us in a quiet room away from the highway. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy. Wifi worked well. In the morning there was hot coffee, an apple, and a Denny's next door, where we had breakfast. We would definitely come to this Motel 6 again.

The size of shower was great, however the way the shower head is designed or installed made it difficult to shower. The water spilled out and had to use almost all the towels to clean it up. Told the head housekeeper we needed more towels and one extra pillow which we never got. Had to find the housekeeper outside and ask for them. The floor in room was very dusty. The lobby needs furniture update. Also the man with tattoos and shorts needs to look more professional… he was very welcoming though but I didn't get that impression from first glance. Also there was tons of people outside late at night looked very ghetto. And someone at 7am was playing music from their car so loud it woke up my 6 month old cause windows where shaking. I'm not upset with my stay but paying $80 and getting $40 service is ridiculous. I choose motel 6 only because I know the potential a property could have with the right staff and good management.

The room was big and clean and the beds were comfortable. The only problem is that the floors are wood and so we heard the people above us most of the night. They were a group of kids who kept running down the hallway and stomping around their room. That's not the hotel's fault but it did make our stay a little less pleasant. Next time, I would request a room on the top floor!

My room suited my needs, basically a bed for the nights I was there. It was a very good value for the area, spacious, and centrally located for my needs. Plenty of parking. Lots of amenities near by. The room was clean, you can tell that renovations had been made but more attention could be paid to the small details ie; paint spots on floor, loose fixtures (the hanger on back of bathroom door, the toilet paper holder), new caulking around tub but no-one bothered to clean the dirty corners, and clean the grout a little more; after all cleaning occurs between each guest; why should mold or dark staining appear. Though located near I-10 on ramp, never bothered by noise. The only staff member I enter acted with, was the front desk clerk and he was very nice & informative; was able to check in and out early with out problem.

Rented the room at the last minute. Paid over $150 due to an event in the area and most hotels were full. Other than that, very pleasant stay. Steve and Roy at a front counter are AMAZING! Very personable and friendly. Would come again because of their hospitality. The rooms have been been remodeled and are pretty bare (beds, mini fridge, microwave, no dresser, no safe). Beds are comfortable. The air conditioner is loud but works great. Near impossible to watch TV with the a/c on as even the TV volume at it's highest is very low. Even with the prostitutes running about, this place was still pleasant. The pool could be cleaner, but otherwise refreshing in the scorching heat. Nighttime was quiet and we slept like babies. This facility is pet friendly (we brought our 70lb pit bull) which is definitely a plus. Overall, besides the price, we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this place to travelers.

Confirmed remodeled room & reservations several times, but put in an very outdated rooms w/old furnishings, 1960's broken lamps plugged into outlets that had burn marks, VERY dim lighting, I had to go buy $60 worth of lamps for our 2 rooms, no where to plug in electronics, pulled out 2 feet of hair from tub drain when I went to take a bath, (none of which I complained about! ) final straw — so many roaches in rooms & all over property & in parking lot! Various types of roaches, from small to HUGE 2"+inches! This I finally complained about! When I told Frankie & GM Steve about problems I was told I could leave if not happy & given runaround for 7+hrs. By them until I called guest relations. Then was told I would be given gifts certificates for 2 nights at another location. Given it was Father's Day weekend & last minute I couldn't find new reservations & was also exhausted from just moving in & buying stuff to make rooms work. Feel I was treated very unprofessionally & disrespectfully. My Mom is 70 and I am permanently disabled, which makes their treatment of us even worse, but no considerate guest should be treated so poorly! I finally broke down in tears from stress & exhaustion & fear of going back to rooms with roaches in bed & on floors & then GM Steve finally found new rooms. We still had 2 giant roaches come into each of the new rooms, but significant improvement, however, new rooms BOTH tubs backed up so we couldn't bathe!

The motel is close and the schools. Claremont mckena. Here you can find many places to eat in addition to having very close to the downtanw with rich places to eat.

Location was great. Not far from convention center and Starbucks and Norms. Was perfect location for getting around and to eat food. Room was clean and service came in everyday to change towels and sheets.

Free Wi-Fi, accessible laundry service, accessible pool, parking spaces available near any room, and the staff are lovely.

Nice location, near food and the freeway, room was nice for a motel 6. Had great Wi-Fi and good size bed. Only complaint wold be the pillows. They were to small and limp. The walls are also pretty thin, I had to tell my kids the neighbors were jumping on the beds lol.

Please stay on the freeway and find another hotel. I stayed here thur 6/2/16. At approx 11:05am, before I could make it to office to extend my stay for the weekend. I heard 2 men walking down the hallways beating on doors yelling time to check out. When he hit my door he opened and said "maintanance it's check out time you have to leave". I headed to office in disbelief a hotel would treat guest this way. I was confronted by a man in a plain t shirt with a hand held radio. I could hear the men yelling through the radio and this "manager" was crossing off sections as they progressed. And the manager showed no remorse simply an Oh sorry. Remodeled or not this hotel is apparently not in a good area and is managed that way. Please avoid and find a better place to stay if you do not wish to be treated like a criminal.

Room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing amazing, but very nice.

Stayed here for dog show at the Pomona Fairplex. This is not your typical Motel 6, this is an acquired property (formerly Claremont Inn? ) so the lodging was much better. Clean room and friendly staff. Everything worked. The rooms need to be updated but they come with a refrigerator and microwave which a lot of Motel 6's don't provide. The area for the pets is great — large grass areas that are not littered with poop from inconsiderate guests. Starbucks is next door. Check out the Thai restaurant that is 2 blocks away — Sanamuluang Thai Cuisine. It's outstanding and very reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend this particular Motel 6.

I stood there because my wife and I had got the flu and we just wanted a couple of nights to recover. She stood in one bed I sleep in the other and we just rested. It was just what we needed,

Perfect place for me and my gf. Plus everything is right around it.

I must say that over the weekend this was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I was in town for the Hard Summer Music Festival and this hotel was 4mi away from the Fairplex. My friends and I arrived at 12pm and they were very accommodating and immediately let us check in to our room. The keys are microchipped so they're $5 extra if you need more than one (we decided one would be fine). The room was very clean and nice, comfortable beds. But the greatest part was the free shuttle to and from the Fairplex for the event. The staff went above and beyond all expectations and made sure that every hotel patron who needed a ride home from the venue was picked up and got back to the hotel. This type of generosity is shocking and extremely appreciated it. When the shuttle was supposed to end at 12am they went until 2am just to ensure everyone was accounted for (both nights). Thank you to all of the friendly staff who made this weekend so much fun with no stress about getting to or from the venue in an unknown city. Also I asked about check out and it was 11am and asked if there was late check out and no problem she put me down for 12pm. Nothing but great things to say about this Motel 6 it was truly an amazing experience!

Awesome until room was falsely raided.

I loved this place! The courts were clean, well maintained and everyone there was always so nice and helpful, however it's unfortunately been bought out by a Motel 6 and they've let the place go badly. The couldn't afford to maintain it, so they figured if they destroy sections there's no need to maintain it! The worst part is the staff at the Hotel. It used to be if you asked nicely, they would let you play and now they promptly come out (last time the "security" had a tazer in his hand out and ON before asking questions) and kick you out. Such a shame.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and great value! A nice pool and tennis courts too! Plenty of local food establishments to choose from also.

Very disappointed. The continental breakfast is a joke. I wanted to take the breakfast and coffee back to my room because my children still sleeping. They would not let me.

Well the service is very good but my air conditiner broke they tried to fix it but it took forever. They should of just gave me another room right away. It did not work until 1am they fixed at 12pm or at least give me a discount.

Dude beautiful facility location the pool area was very clean the room very very clean the front desk was very helpful it was almost like a vacation getaways.

Decor was old school, air conditioner older than old school the button gets stuck every time u push it then we called the front desk to check it because the room was warm even with it on all they did was look at it and said its fine what do u want its old. Next I called to request extra laundry bags the response from the manager was housekeeping will be back in the morning ill tell them, the next day nothing I called again they said sorry u have to leave a not so just leave a note for them we don't take messages for them (no communication between staff) that is wrong if I call the front desk okay if they don't have housekeeping then take a message and get it done. If u stay in the room for a few days you will start to notice they don't change the sheets unless you ask by leaving a note. NO microwave in the room you have to walk to the front desk to warm up your food that's not all the refrigerator doesn't close we didn't notice but it doesn't close all the time when u shut it. They have a coffee maker (leave a note for them to leave you a clean glass every day or it wont get done) table and refrigerator. Lets talk the bathroom shower doesn't get cleaned just sprayed trust me I saw it (housekeeping is nice don't get me wrong but they need to improve) TV I think only has a hand full of channels literally one hand full.
