Waitresses are very friendly n always keep on top of the needs of their customers. The bartenders are knowledgeable to the needs of the their customers. It is a very comfortable and enjoyable place to relax n enjoy the surroundings.

Deadbolt missing on door. Air conditioner filter dirty. Dead batteries in remote did not work. Cover missing on remote. Channels on television sometimes fade out then suddenly comes back. Automated answering service near front entrance kept my wife awake because there is no attendant during evening hours I believe past 5 or 6pm. At least there was hot water in shower.

The food was wholesome, meaning tasty and fresh, nothing fancy, meaning not overly done or misrepresented on the menu.

No stars. Locked out for 2 hours, and couldn't leave for 5 hours. No local contact to issue new keys. Emergency contact didn't response for 2 hours. Security company had outdated emergency contact information for the Inn. Someone who hadn't worked here for over a year.

Swell place off the beaten track just right to relax at.

Worst hotel/motel experience ever. No one at front desk to check in. Room was in need of serious remodel. Areas unpainted, scratched, chipped paint, dirty carpet. Although the shower "head" was nice, the rest of the bathroom, tub, and sinks were atrocious. Just wait till you see the TV reception … more snow than Fargo, ND in December. Unwatchable. Then on top of it all the swimming pool was lime green! Seriously, I joke not… see the pic. In the morning, my wife had to leave for an early appt and the front door was LOCKED! We really should have called the Fire Marshall. Later when I checked out I told the attendant about the door and she said I was wrong. She said we should have called her and her phone # was posted on the door … Yeah, on the OUTSIDE of the door! Then she said we needed to return the second key card by 2pm. I told her my wife took it in fear that she wouldn't be able to get back in and that we'd mail it. She said "not my problem" and if we don't return it by 2 pm, she would charge us "the cost of the card, $25. " Really? We were the ONLY people staying here and they are worried about running out of cards? I told her if she does that, I'll demand a $25 credit because I couldn't use the pool. She said that "No, because by the time we checked in, we wouldn't have been able to use the pool anyway. " Every one of my statements was met with a "you're wrong" or "not my problem (or job) " response.

So sad. This is located on a beautiful golf course, but unfortunately it is old and not maintained very well. It is very quiet because there aren't many guests and the receptionist is only there part of the day. Once she leaves, you are there alone, with only her cell phone number to call. The room was okay to sleep in, but that was about it. The pool was totally green and filled with algae. There was a sign in the lobby that apologized for the pool and said they were waiting for parts to fix it. From the looks of the pool, they have been waiting a long, long time! As far as staying overnight goes, the room was okay to sleep in. The air conditioning worked, and the bathroom was functional, but again, pretty old and beat up and needed to be updated. The worst part of our stay was when I tried to leave early in the morning in time to get to an appointment. The front doors were locked and I could not exit through the front door. Definitely a fire hazard! I went to the back and was able to exit out of the back door and then enter the front door from the outside using my key card. Eventually, it all worked out, however I cannot recommend this place to anyone until they make some drastic improvements!

It was really good. Great service and food. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Silver Lakes Inn and Restaurant. The food is reasonably priced, large portions and always good. I've been there 3 times and tried the fish Tacos, the salmon dinner, Happy hour nachos (huge and only $6). Fast and friendly service!

My parents have stayed there 5 times now and me and my son generally stay with them. Every time they have stayed there's been something wrong. From no hot water, not enough towels, bad customer service, charging for 2 additional nights, no crib after asking repeatedly, and most recently no water in the morning at all and we weren't even notified until after the workers left for the evening. We will never stay there again.

It was it's one of the greatest places to stay when you're out here at Silver Lake rooms are nice and clean great place to eat at the INN and golfing two steps away. The staff is amazing Thay are so helpful.

BEWARE! Beautiful land and hotel but they will try to OVERCHARGE and DOUBLE bill you. They also "claimed" their printer was broken and said they would email a receipt which never happened. I had to deal with this problem once I got home from my enormous road trip and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Don't support this business! Poorly managed! Helendale (a man made lake city in the middle of the southern california desert? Yeah that's as idiotic as it sounds) will not exist in 10 years.

The only people who would find this hotel good is the people who NEVER leave Silver Lakes. There really is nothing good about The Inn. Overpriced rooms, dirty swimming pool. Etc. The rooms were okay. But that's about it.

After my last visit I said that was it. Just had to try one more time, and they let me down bad. I have been staying here since 2004 and thought they were trending the right way. Wrong! for the most part the hotel staff doesn't carebut the restaurant staff goes above and beyond. this trip started with a 2 week res for a suite but at ck in none were available?!? and they put me in a smoking room — yuck! tonight is my 3rd and last night there, going to another hotel for the rest of this trip. Too bad because I really enjoy the solitude there. I think it's a decent community that just need to catch up with today and get out of the 70's — — buh bye :-).

Best Hotel in 100 miles. Stop here on your way to or from Vegas.
