Animal friendly rooms ok. Our room smelled like urine I dodnt want it blamed on my doggy so I called the desk and they offered to change rooms for us but I had brought everything in and didn't want to change. I'm fighting a severe kidney infection and just wanted to lay down. Usually have no problem herr.

It was really nice the bed was comfortable & I sleep good. They had a really nice breakfast!

Definitely enjoyed the stay. Clean rooms and good water pressure. The breakfast buffet is pretty good too. Lots of options. You are also able to bring pets.

The room was one of the cleanest rooms we've ever stayed in. We only had 2 problems, the bed was as hard as a rock, and the shower knob was very hard to pull out. If my husband wasn't there I would have never been able to shower without calling house cleaning. The amenities were GREAT! Coffee pot, hair dryer, microwave and small refrigerator. This is a great little hotel in Fresno. I've visited twice now and had no hesitation coming back. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I noticed on my last stay that it appeared that the bathrooms were beginning to be remodeled. I had no complaints of the current state of the bathroom however I'm sure freshening them up will only further enhance the quality.

I’ve heard that this is not a good part of town. However I love this place. When you turn into the parking lot you forget where your at. It’s so nice! Clean and comfortable. This place has a great vibe. You will feel like your at a mini retreat. Pool is clean and refreshing. Definitely will be back again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spectacular! A pity it was only a passing place. By far the best breakfast (included) I take on my entire California trip. The staff is friendly and always willing to help.

Our stay was very pleasant. Our room was very clean, and we helped ourselves to the complimentary coffee also. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and had a great variety! (Served 6-9am) The male receptionist in front was very kind and helpful. Although we did not go into the pool, I heard many other guests go in. Also, the pool closes at midnight, so avoid being booked near the pool if you want to get an early night's rest. I was wary of the location as previous reviews had commented feeling unsafe because of it, but I did not feel this way at all.

The Best Western Village Inn in Fresno Ca is one hundred. The staff are very friendly and the food was well-rich. The rooms are very spacious and clean. If I'm going back.

Good breakfast. Problem-free room change to a larger room. There two huge Bette and enough space. Quietly located with large free parking.

Negative home if you are French, unlike other hotel no envy on the part of the employees to help you with more air conditioning failing.

Fantastic breakfast. Our first room had a broken shower but we were moved to another room, although we had settled in and had to move at midnight. But, the staff was very accommodating and the move wasn't all that bad. The beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast staff met everyone with a smile.

The hotel is very good and the receptionist is very friendly.
Fresno is a very nice town to see.

Hotel by the way though to spend a night is fine. Easy parking and correct rooms.

I read the negative reviews and I am not sure those people are rating the same place I stayed in. Because our experience was great and the staff was very friendly they even allowed us to check in a couple hours early. My dad had an early morning procedure at the VA Fresno Medical Office and since we live so far away the VA booked us the room. The rooms were very clean and quiet, I did not see the bad neighborhood as others reported what I saw was a Dennys right next door and McDonald's across the street but I chose a pizza delivery which I will have to review next because the pizza was not even done enough, for my liking anyway. They supply in room coffee pots a small fridge under the bathroom sink, lots of clean towels and many pillows on each bed. I give them a five star for all of that but bonus points for their breakfast. The little food area was small and you had to wait your turn but to me that shows how busy they really are. So take your time at breakfast and know that being busy is not a reason to give a low review it's a reason to slow down and say hi to someone waiting in line with you who knows you may even make a new friend standing in that line. Thank you staff for a job well done and thank you VA for taking care of my dad who served his Country with pride. Be proud to be an American let's stop the bad talk about our country and make it strong again.

Don’t stay here! I am a Gold member and we have paid for 5 nights stay here. The first two nights some couple was fighting in the hallway and nothing was done. And now tonight the gentleman in room 159 was smoking marijuana while we were in room 164. It was so bad it was filling the hallway and our room. Told the front desk this is not ok! We have a heart baby! They said they can fine him for smoking bc this is a non smoking hotel but can’t kick him out. Then they say he come…s here every week and does the same thing. We try opening the building doors to get the smell out, then he smokes a cigarette and the same thing happens again. They give us a new room in the other building and to no surprise someone is smoking marijuana up the hall. We call the front desk and the guy at the desk says he will tell the guard. Funny thing is my husband was standing at the desk as I called and the guard was right there. The guy at the desk and the guard both smelled of it and no one went to see about it. Nonetheless nothing has been done and we have already paid for the room. Nowhere to go and no more rooms. Ridiculous doesn’t begin to cover what we have been through here! Horrible Best Western! Pay extra to stay at a different one! Waiting for customer service to open in the morning! This hotel is HORRIBLE! Don’t stay here! They made things right by refunding the money I paid and then yesterday went in and charged my card, overdrawing my account.

So-so. Rooms ok although in our lacked the hair dryer. Quite spacious and clean. There is no elevator so you have to bring your suitcases by hand. Breakfast was good and varied. Overall it gave me the idea of a somewhat unkempt place.

I spent one night in this clean and well-maintained hotel. The mattress was the most comfortable of all the hotels in this particular car trip. My dog was happy that he was welcomed and there was a good grassy area between two of the three buildings, which was dedicated for dog bathroom purposes. My room faced that largely closed-in area, so the room was very quiet except for a couple of people in the hallway around 8 AM. The free breakfast was average for this sort of hotel. Happy overall and would definitely return.

My husband stayed in Room 108 a few nights ago. He said it was the hardest bed he's ever tried to sleep on and the floor might have been more comfortable for sleep. However, other than that, everything was clean and he had no complaints.

Sadly we didn't get to stay because of a misunderstanding and our plans changed. Jacob at the service desk was very helpful and polite and wished my boyfriend well on his interview with BNSF here in Stockton. He cancelled our reservation no charge and it helped us out a lot. Thank you and hope we can make plans to stay here another time!

Rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was nice. The only reason I took off one star was because I believe the breakfast could have been done better, you can tell that it was a rush job. Quiet rooms.

It was clean and pleasant. It’s not fancy but is a good value if you just need a place to sleep. The breakfast included was very good. Our dogs were welcome for a reasonable price. I would stay here again.

The rooms are a bit small. The rooms and hotel itself, however, are very clean. The bed was comfortable as well. The hotel has a great complimentary breakfast in the morning. The biggest downside to the hotel, beyond room size, is that the area the hotel is in is a bit shady. Numerous homeless people nearby, but the hotel seems to keep them at bay. Still, if you like feeling secure, this may not be the hotel for you.

The room was clean, but the water in bathroom ran very slow {too low pressure}. The thermostat was not working properly, so we just shut it off. The temperature was comfortable in the room. The breakfast was good. All the receptionists were courteous and helpful.

Village Inn is a nice place to stay if you are stopping through Fresno. It was my first time staying there. I was on a business trip and I would not hesitate to stay there again. It's a nicely maintained, clean hotel with everything you want as a traveler.

I had a great time staying there the staff is amazing and they have the best breakfast ever the kitchen staff was the best ever ever sweet kind and alway there if u need anything I would recommend this place to everyone and it was every clean inside and out.

This was our first time at a pet-friendly hotel. Rooms were pretty basic but clean with no pet odor. The beds were really comfortable. Staff was really friendly. Breakfast was ok — I did not care for hot items (eggs, breakfast burritos), coffee was not good (in-room coffee was better), but they did have 3 waffle makers which minimized the wait time to make a waffle. Overall, very satisfied and would stay again if in the area.

I have stayed here (and reviewed this location) many times. I have very few additional comments, except it would 1) be nice if every room had a microwave; and 2) if there were grab bars in every bathroom on the OUTSIDE of the tub/shower. At this stay (and the one on 8/7), I had to grab onto the door — not a very safe thing to do — in order to get out of the tub. I am a senior with knee and sometimes back problems so the comment is really the important one. Aside from that, BWVI is a great place to stay and I will continue to do so.

A great place to rest and see the city. Save and friendly service. Senior's Citizens discount. Denney's discount if you stay at Best Western.

Nice structure But the breakfast is not suitable for the amount of guests, in addition in the Hotel turn strange individuals who have access to common areas.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Village Inn. The rooms were very clean and looked to have recently been remodeled. The beds were very comfortable and there was a large selection for breakfast. I was very pleased with the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean but smelled like someone had been smoking in the room and I am a smoker. Breakfast was good. But the staff. The staff are amazing. The breakfast room attendant is the best friendly attentive awesome. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Love the staff her so it totally made up for any issues with the smell of smoke. I would stay bere again.

We used this hotel to be close to Yosemite and the truth that very well. Full breakfast, huge beds. Correct cleaning, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker. Own Parking.

While the hotel was okay, the front desk agents are incompetent! I asked if they could have a FedEx package picked up for me, they said sure, we can schedule a pick up and take care of it for you. That was 8 days ago. The client emailed and asked if I sent it out, I explained the situation and called the hotel, they told me FedEx has not come yet. I said WHAT? That was 8 days ago. Why did n't someone call? So, if you stay here, the hotel itself was okay, but be prepared for a lack of common sense.

The Village Inn has been newly renovated. The rooms are clean and modern. The buildings are newly painted and the grounds are nicely landscaped. If you're in the area, book a room.

Was really pleasantly surprised! It's an old-ish place with cookie cutter room layout, but updated nicely. Very comfortable bed. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. All for under $80. Glad we found this place.

Would not stay there again. Was down for the weekend with a group from the Seniors Bowling tournement and on our arrival when we got to our room the first thing to happen was the toliet overflowed. Called the front desk about it and they brought us a plnger so we could take care of it. I called again to see if we could get some towels since we cleaned up their floor and they never showed up, used face towel to dry off after a shower. It seemed to me that all they cared about is why the internet was not working. Perfer to stay somewhere else next trip or bring my own towels and plunger.

Ok. Nice staff. Bathrooms have granite counter tops and showers with tubs. The pool is not right on the street, which is nicer than most. $200 deposit for pets. Bed was pretty comfy. Room was blah, but ok. Breakfast options are decent: cereal, oatmeal, fruit, juices, waffles, eggs, and other hot breakfast items of the day.

Do not waste your time or money! my husband had to go out of town for work and by default he stayed at this hotel. They charged him the normal room rate and then an additional 250$ and didnt even telling him. When he called to discuss the matter they hung up on him! actually they hung up on him all 3 times he called. We have had to involve the bank to dispute this bullshit! save yourself the headache and stay anywhere else.

I have stayed at the location many times and it has been ok, not great. The area is questionable with night activity. That's why a guard is nice when they patrol. My main reason for coming is the jacuzzi which has been down all week. I complained each fay when it wasn't fix and was told to call back between 700-330 for a manager. No one ever told me when it would be repaired. If I knew it would be down all week along with the internet I would have left. That's why they probably never told me. The rate is fair when things are working but the service was terrible. After 5 days and a threat I would never return, they comp one night. Kids were screaming in the halls and today a dog was barking. I don't like that. Not sure I will return even if it cost a extra $20 somewhere else. Good luck.
