Very clean, quiet, nice breakfast.

Worst Customer Service and need better management. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I just read the most recent reviews and is amazing how we all feel the same about this hotel.

The In-laws make a visit twice a year and this is always where they stay. Darling one bedroom apartment set-up. Full kitchen, comfortable living room area and bedroom with an on-suite. Reasonably priced. Located near shopping, the racetrack and great restaurants! Great amenities included!

Horrible customer service. They kicked us out at 9 am with no warning. Expected ya to leave by 1 and then called the police on my party. Lied and said we had too mint people in our group. This is after 2.5 days of no water remote for TV didn’t work maid did lot service our room and the ice maker did not work.

This was a convenient location for the convention that we were going to, but was not within walking distance to much else of interest. The room had an over, a range, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, and a microwave. The bedroom area was open to the sofabed area, and the bathroom had its own door, with a sink outside the bathroom, accessible separately from the shower and toilet. Breakfast was a free buffet, with an assortment of hot and cold food, a waffle maker, toaster. Scrambled eggs and oatmeal seemed to be standard, though the meat and pastries changed from day to day. The exercise room was small, but had two treadmills, an elliptical, and a recumbent bike, plus a bench and free weights. There was also an outdoor area with a basketball hoop and badminton net.

Great place to stay in Los Alamitos/Cypress, especially if you're going to the horse races. Comfortable studio-like rooms, kitchenette with full refer/freezer, sink, dishwasher, cookware and dinnerware provided. AC works great, comfortable bed, hide-a-bed couch, big TV that swivels to view from any part of the room. I docked a star for a reservation problem we had. My mom reserved her own room, ADA accessible with a roll-in shower. They guaranteed the reservation when we made it directly with the hotel, a month prior to our stay. We arrive to learn that the room she required was not available to us. The man checking us in was very apologetic and sympathetic, even calling to sister hotels looking for availability with no luck; the lady that finally came out was quite curt, unhelpful and seemed upset with us that we were unhappy about not being provided with what was guaranteed to us that we truthfully needed. Very unprofessional and impolite lady. We decided to try out an ADA room with a tub and a shower chair. It was uncomfortable and difficult for Mom, but we made it work. We've stayed here before and probably will again, but we will have to call multiple times leading up to our visit because we can't trust them to call us when they've given away the room we need and reserved. I should probably give three stars, but we've stayed here at least 6 times, never had a problem until this visit. We like it a lot here, but beware if you have special needs.

Ok good location, older hotel with 4 floors, long walks to elevator and club house. Very low water pressure. Nice people, will not stay next trip.

Top notch hotel for it's price range, safe, secure, comfortable and pet friendly. Staff was always courteous and eager to answer your questions/solve issues. (never had any myself, other than having to extend my stay, twice. Which they tended to quickly and easily) Breakfast isn't amazing, but much better than many other places. Maid staff are respectful to downright helpful. Never came close to having any issues with any of them. Overall, I would recommend this place to others. (Have stayed in many hotels and motels all over the world, and I'd still recommend this place! )

Was supposed to stay in this hotel for a workshop, had a last minute emergency and have to cancel with less than 48 hours notice, I have been marriott rewards member for many years now and just was informed that they changed the policy last year for cancellations, therefore I was charged for the 1st night, I asked to speak to the manager ans after explaining my situation and arguing back and forward, this was her answer whenI I ask her that if you booked a room with them you could have a last minute emergency, she replied to me "at the end we are running a business" Very Rude comment.

Convenient location, close to freeway but not close enough to hear it. Maybe the building is well insulated because it was very quiet. 10 pm noise curfew excellent breakfast included lots of parking. Suite had everything (kitchen) to enjoy an extended vacation. Thanks Marriott Don and Pam.

My stay was very good. Front desk staff were very pleasant, professional and informative when asking questions. Lisa, GM is in all honesty the best manager I have worked with even when there was a change in accommodations. Rooms, breakfast and other staff are also very pleasant as well as engaging. My family and I will definitely stay at this location again.

My company hosted a training event at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Los Alamitos. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Brandynn and Lex were always willing to help out where needed, even if it was with friendly conversation between meals or meetings. All members attending the training event loved the rooms. I will not hesitate to book another training event here at this hotel, and given the opportunity, I would gladly bring my family on an extended stay as well.

This residence Inn is close to Costco. Several popular fusion style eateries. Also walking distance to 24 hour fitness. Rooms are spacious, well lit with natural lighting. A full kitchen is provided, including dish washer. In addition to all this it is a shirt taxi ride to Disneyland.

Rooms are nice and comfy. They just upgraded the cable service and it works very well. Breakfast in the morning is always good. The employees have been very helpful and very accommodating.

Enjoyed our entire stay here. Our home away from home. We spent two weeks here while our home was being remodeled. Clean and very spacious rooms. We had a 2room suite and a king suite to accommodate our family of 8. Our kids enjoyed the pool and basketball court. Delicious complimentary breakfast, coffee bar and evening snacks. Friendly staff. Special thanks to Erolyn for greeting us every morning during breakfast with her beautiful smile and to Danny at the front desk for taking good care of us! I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need. They serve a really nice breakfast here and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This is my home away from home for the next two weeks. They have a delicious breakfast and amazing food and drinks a few times a week. The staff here are very helpful and attentive.

Stayed at this location back in October of this year. Its far from the convention I was in town for but worth it. Quiet location, nice and clean rooms, spacious, and very accommodating. I had a two bedroom suite and I was expecting the bedrooms to be more spacious but it actually turned out fine. I had about 5 other people in the room with me. Everyone had a space to sleep in. The staff was great. Had a little situation on the first day but everything worked out in the end. Complimentary breakfast every morning. Great food. Parking was perfect. I would most likely stay here again.

Been here 6 months because of a house fire. Love this place. Everyone that works here are the best. Free breakfast every morning. Tuesday free bbq.

We got a one bedroom suite. It's a little small, not much room BTW the end of the bed and the dresser. The other room is not much better. Only one sofa and a small table and chairs for two. The breakfast was just okay. Location is good for us. Also not too happy having to side step the dog poop all over the side walks!

The receptionist we're very helpful full of energy and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Beautiful landscaping.

This has been our temporary housing for the past 7 weeks and we couldn't be more happy with the Inn. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond making us at home. The Inn is pet friendly, so now our 7lb. Yorkipoo thinks she owns the place.

Very well kept and quaint hotel. Nice location and great breakfast in the am. Also had a happy hour with apps and wine which was cool. Didn't use pool but looked nice.

Nice location close to shopping and businesses but quite. Typical residence inn in California broken in pods of rooms hover pods are accessed from inside so maybe a little more modern. Breakfast was typical, social a little weaker then other in California. Nice clean well maintained site.

Location is convenient for work at the Los Alamitos Joint Base, and is still very close to some great food options. Rooms are small but cozy. The hotel staff is nice and accommodating. Breakfast is free, and it's surprisingly yummy. I'd stay here again.

I have to move to a different Residence Inn this weekend because of the bad Internet. It stopped working all night at the whole hotel. Worse and worse. I did contact the company at midnight again. But It still happened. I asked for a solution again, but front desk said it's not their fault and sorry for me. I really love this Residence Inn. I planed to stay at least half year before buying a house. But I have to go. I must finish my job and reschedule my Internet meeting. I am so sorry, Mommy. I can't keep my promise. I love you guys ❤❤❤ (5/10/2017) I love "Residence Mommy" Raquel's cooking, soy meat with pineapple, Caesar hot chicken. It is delicious. Employees are sweet. They take care of guests spontaneously and are happy. My housekeeper Maria is also thoughtful, she bring soap box to my room when she see me wash my hands. Unlimited hot chocolate packets at front desk is my favorite part. (3/01/2017)

Great location near shopping and lots of nearby food choices. Rooms and grounds are super clean and well kept. Pet friendly with good spots for walking dogs. Breakfast is served daily with lots of choices, they also have afternoon snacks and drinks. Pool area is small, but well kept.

We had the 2 bedroom 2 bath suite with a full kitchen loved it … celebrated my daughters 14th bday with some family and had a sleepover. Very quite beautiful scenery and the buffet was good! Kids really enjoyed it to bad we didn't get into the pool it's a must next time will come back every year.

I loved the customer service. Overall, I felt very comfotable throughout my entire stay. I hope to be able to come again.

Towels could be softer, very friendly staff, breakfast good but could have better selection, very nice room, wish a. C Would go colder than 68. Overall nice.

Room was nice clean, staff was friendly, fullly stocked kitchen with a dish washer and full size fridge. Guest laundry had multiple machines with free detergent dispenser, good breakfast. Only two problems were I guess someone left a tub or a sink going and it flooded into the end of the hall so there was that wet smell for a few days and then the maids took one of my towels so I guess they have a sense of humor. Good stay if you like having some home cooked meals or just not eating out every meal on a long trip.

Planned to stay here for 3 nights, checked out after the first night. Customer service was great, bed was awful. Neither my wife or I slept very well, every time one of us moved in the night the other was woken up, and our backs hurt in the morning. Rooms were average, some ripped/worn places on the couch and chairs. Hallway smelled like someone had (over) cooked asian food. Breakfast was below average based on quality/taste of food. Breakfast/lounge area furniture was past its service life, felt like I was sitting on a wood frame. Would not stay again unless they renovated and replaced the bed.

Stayed here a couple times in the last 2 years for business. The staff alone is worth staying here then factor in the rooms clean comfortable and spacious. 5 stars.

Clean facilities, pleasant staff and great location! Can't wait to come back. We also had experiences with the management and sales staff, all of our concerns were quickly addressed professionally, they really went above and beyond. It's amazing how when you actually take the time to clearly communicate your concerns to the staff, they will actually be more than happy to help you out. I would give it excellent service if once a while they can give me a late checkout.

Clean, quiet. Buffet for dinner most nights with free beer and wine. Nuff said.

Check-in process was absolutely wonderful, front desk was courteous and helpful — smooth check in process. The rooms are layed out beautifully (the studio). Love staying here! Recommended to family and friends! :).

We live in Palm Desert, Ca and come into OC to see the Kids and Grand Kids often. We always stay here! Great staff, Nice large clean rooms and breakfast is a plus. Recommend highly Good Value.
