Wow. If anyone wants an AMAZING quick trip I highly recommend Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast, Inc. — — amazing place, staff, and accommodations. It is also nestled in El Dorado county wineries, Apple Hill and Coloma river rafting. We’ve found our official anniversary tradition.

It was my wife's and I first time at a bed and breakfast. We had a wonderful time, Talk about a very positive experience. Very clean and the customer service was on point every time. We enjoyed Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast, Inc. Very much. I recommend this as a place to get away from everyday life, jump in the pool and enjoy the gorgeous views!

I am a professional DJ, and I recently had the honor of DJ'ing a Wedding, there at the Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast. The view was Stunning, not only the View of the Venue, but also the View from the Venue (of the river and valley). But the thing that made it a Day to Remember, was Jordan and her staff. Jordan and her team did an incredible job of organizing and running the Wedding Day. I would highly recommend the Bella Vista B&B, for any couples that are looking to get Married!

Comfortable stay. Nice suite with balcony for wine, reading and breakfast. A bit too noisy from vehicles traveling on the adjacent road. Great Breakfast!

Beautiful property with excellent hospitality and food!

Great location for the wedding I attended if it had any faults I would say where the wedding was performed there's too audio from traffic. Otherwise impeccable place! I would definitely recommend!

I have stayed at Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast several times. The inn is beautiful with awesome views of the Coloma valley and the American river. Innkeeper, Kathleen and her husband Bob are so welcoming and very knowledgeable of the area. The breakfasts were delicious! I would recommend Bella Vista.

My fiance and I spent part of our honeymoon. It was an amazing experience. We had a lot of fun. The owners were very nice and brought are breakfast out to us on the balcony so that we can enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Rooms are nicely appointed, and the breakfast was top notch. Excellent secluded views of the Coloma-Lotus valley are enjoyable via the pool and hot tub. Common areas are nicely appointed but limited on space and can quickly feel crowded.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista B&B. We arrived just before dusk and immediately saw a deer family grazing on an expansive lawn. The house was gorgeous and had a very welcoming and homey feel. Our room was wonderfully decorated and surpassed only by the comfort of the bed. After an amazing breakfast we took a quick dip in the pool before continuing on our journey. Thank you for sharing your home!

Can't make my mind up on this one. Views are spectacular, rooms are clean & tidy but need a little maintenance. Pool is great. Breakfast will see you through to the evening.

This is our second time that we stayed at Bella Vista B&B. Our stay is always relaxing and enjoyable, beautifil view plus the owner is always nice and accomodating! They also have a nice pool. We will definitely come back in California and spend a few days here.

Well for starters, Kathleen, the owner is so incredibly helpful! My parents and brother recommend we stay here based on their experience with her alone. The house is mind blowing in how beautiful the architecture and decorating were done. Each room has a little bit of a theme. We stayed in The Monte Vista Suite which is the entire upstairs of the house. The room is cosy, the furniture is exceptional, and the bed is comfortable. There is an extra bedroom and a legit secret room in this one suite. No bed and breakfast is complete without a superb home cooked morning meal, and Kathleen's French toast changed my life. The pool and hot tub are naturally shaped to feel like a beach, complete with sand (seriously, check out pictures on their website). The place is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and only takes about an hour to get there from Sacramento. Stunningly beautiful views over a valley with the American River running through it. 10/10 will return.

I surprised my wife to this lovely retreat on her birthday last weekend and I can tell you that Bella Vista and it's friendly and helpful owners exceeded my expectations and made our stay a truly beautiful and memorable experience. Even the short drive from Hwy 50 through California's most magnificent and historic gold rush was heavenly. I highly recommend Bella Vista to anyone reading this. Get away from the routine, go to Bella Vista you'll be pampered.

5 star stay all the way. My wife and I needed a local getaway spot to get some R&R and spend time together. We stayed in the Bella Vista room which has a jacuzzi tub. The owner was very friendly and one of the nicest people I've met. Food was generous portions and delicious. It's a perfect location. 2 minutes from historic town of Coloma and a short drive from Placerville which has many options for eating and fun. I can't wait until I get to take my wife back to the Bella Vista. Oh yeah they have an amazing pool and hot tub (with a sand beach) which you can enjoy under a star filled sky.

My wife and I travel to Bella Vista Bed & Breakfast from Northern Nevada several times per year. We love this place. It is the only place we consistently visit when returning to California. It is our home away from home. We highly recommend!

Pure charm elegance and relaxation! My parents were married at the beautiful Bella Vista in 2008. I couldn't imagine a more picture perfect place to have the wedding of your dreams! We have returned to the bella vista numerous times for family vacations as well as romantic get aways. Kathleen makes outstanding breakfast each morning that you would expect to get at 5 star restaurants. The amazing pool and hot tub overlook the most amazing view of the American river and the small town of Coloma. The hardest part about being close to some of the best wineries and historic tours is actually leaving the Bed and Breakfast. It is a home away from home! I guarantee you won't find a family as sweet as the owners who open up their home to making your get away more than memorable.

The grounds and building itself were pretty. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, with a great view of the surrounding mountains and river below. The buffet style breakfast was a little different but didn't change our opinion either way about the place; the food was pretty good. My wife loves the fresh granola. Our room was small, which was expected (Buena Vista room), but the road noise and occasional noise from other guests made it a no-so-great experience. Maybe another room would have changed our opinion. The owners were nice but overall it lacked something I cannot put my finger on. If I could give it 3.5 I probably would have.

My wife and I stayed at the Bella Vista while we toured "Apple Hill" and what an excellent choice it was! The view of the South Fork of the American River and the surrounding valley was spectacular. The grounds were very well cared for and it showed. The staff was very accomodating and knowledgeable of the area. And most importantly, the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend Bella Vista to anyone looking to visit that beautiful part of California. We can't say enough good things about it!
