Very beautiful grounds & rooms.

Great find in Palm springs! All the rooms are recently renovated, like little studio apartments. Staff is super friendly! Pool area is clean and really nice with newer chairs and umbrellas. Great BBQ area. Overall an excellent stay, thank you Job!

My wife and I had a really great time… Friendly staff, very clean, we will be back. Right down the street from Elmer's Restaurant. You have to there.

Newly built B and B. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Great pool and hot tub/garden area. Close to downtown and markets. Easy parking. We will definitely stay here again.

Be careful ever booking an event at colts lodge. It’s been 3 months and I still haven’t received the deposit back of over $2500. They gave me a receipt to show the money had been refunded but I checked my credit card for weeks and nothing was there. I called my credit card company and they told me nothing has hit my acct. When I finally call the hotel and tell them all this, they tell me oh we are having accounting issues and I promise you, it’s coming in 3 days. After 2 months I tell them just send me a check I can’t wait anymore. I can’t make credit card payments, they tell me again the check is in the mail”. Of course nothing arrives. It’s really disheartening to essentially have money stolen from my husband and I right after we got married. There were no issues or damages done to hotel.

This really was an Oasis. The gardens were delightful. It was a place to relax, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the pool and sips a drink in the secret garden. We were made to feel very welcome and would love to return. Each room was individually designed and our was really chic.

The absolute PREMIUM number one resort of the entire Coachella Valley. You will spot Royalty and Oscar winners alike chillaxing in the paradise garden, huge pool, hot jacuzzi, clean allergy safe rooms with huge amazing bathrooms and amenities known from the worlds best hotels like the Ritz in Paris or the Plaza in New York. It is a destination and the owners to an amazing job creating the best hotel of California in the wonderful central Palm Springs Location with the best view of the entire city. Enjoy this peaceful deluxe heaven and be stunned. One thing will make you really sad. When your stay is over. I come monthly if not twice a month especially summer I can't get enough of this place it's absolutely gorgeous A must do The staff especially Jobe, the grounds, the accommodations the ambience is Beyond explanation. This place is Palm Springs.

It's a good place even though our bathroom didn't have a door.

This is a beautiful and intimate hotel with fabulous staff.

I mainly hung out at the resort, Colt's Lodge… they have bikes and a heated pool, and good breakfasts. The grounds are beautiful. I have a favorite lunch place and happy hour. Usually get a massage and see a movie.

Had a great stay in this charming place. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculate. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Wish the weather had been warmer to enjoy the pool and colorful courtyard more. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our January '17 week's stay @ Colt's Lodge-surrounded by the stunning mountains — in a lovely residential neighbourhood — within walking distance of a delicious Pho restaurant as well as many other great places to eat & shop.
Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with an accessible shower and a private patio. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the use of the communal kitchen.
We hope to return again one day!

This Place is the greatest! It's a hidden gem it's super clean and looks just like the pictures if not better!

Probably the nicest, most relaxing place we've ever stayed. Lovely pool, warm and available 24hrs. Breakfast a delight of pastries and good coffee. Friendly owners and staff, lovely rooms, comfy beds, excellent showers and toiletries. We kept finding more delights as we explored the site — fire pit, barbecue, piano, bicycles, hummingbirds! We did not want to leave.

Great place to stay. Had some issues in the beginning, but they were corrected quickly. If you're looking for a place that makes you feel safe and you're in your own backyard this is it. The owners and staff are on premise during the day. One draw back was pool towels seem to be replaced once a day. We came back one evening to use the pool but there weren't any clean pool towels. That being said we would stay there again.

This is a small hotel with just 11 rooms. The entrance is not immediately apparent, but we understand that is being addressed, car parking is outside the walled hotel area. On walking through either of the doors from the street you are presented with beautiful gardens, pool, hot tub, BBQ area, outside dining area, cycles, sun loungers, bowls area and seating outside the rooms, both the BBQ area and the bowls areas are in discrete areas so these may not be immediately apparent, it is well worth a little scout round on arrival. Complimentary tea, coffee and iced flavoured water are available in the kitchen area where breakfast is served. You have access to the kitchen area 24 hours a day. Staying at this hotel is a bit like being at a house guest, you have access to all areas and come and go as you please. The cycles are free to use and provide an alternative means of going downtown which is a little over a mile away. The downtown area has a profusion of restaurants for you to choose from. Local shops and restaurants are across the road, so you have a number of options available for dining. Breakfast was great and was a continental style, but you have access to a kitchen so you can prepared what ever you bring. The hot tub is great as is the pool, with lots of sun beds complete with complementary towels. The rooms have standard double beds with each side having adjustable softness controls. Rooms have very quiet air con, fridge, shower, bath robes and flat screen TVs.

This is an adorable little lodge with the best, most personal service of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The majority of the rooms face the pool and have chairs outside to just sit and relax. The staff were all extremely welcoming and accommodating and even surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries and mimosas on Easter morning!

Amazing hidden gem in Palm Springs! The pool area and grounds were so pretty. From the pond to the marble features lit up at night to the desert flowers and landscaping it was perfect! The on property owner has used his impeccable taste for decor to individually decorate each room with a mix of antiques and modern flair. The beautiful rooms are all decorated in top of the line furnishings with sleep number beds, kitchenette, AC & cozy sitting areas. The marble bathrooms have all the amenities and all in all the place looks like it's out of a magazine! The community kitchen and sitting area are set up with a healthy, fresh light breakfast every morning. The kitchen has everything you need to dine in or BB-Q if you choose & The outdoor sitting areas are perfect for everything from catching morning sun to cozying up by the fire pit and enjoying the desert stars! The heated pool and hot tub were also a great spot to soak up sun! The Buzz (free public trolly) runs outside the hotel every 15 min and brings you downtown and back no charge until 1am. Great for getting a lift to shopping or dinner. We were a group of six from Canada in four rooms and everyone raved about the experience! We will be back! Thank you.

Colts Lodge is reminiscent of the 50"s in Palm Springs when the Western Stars visited from Hollywood to ride horses with the Palm Springs Cowboy Mayor. Deep Well Ranch is the home of the famous Los Compadres Stables and the Sunrise Stables where the Stars boarded their horses and stayed & played at this property which is now Colts Lodge. The newly re-imagined boutique hotel now has 11 individually designed rooms, 3 gardens which includes a porcelain tiled pool, Bocce Ball Court, Fire pit, BBQ, spa, rock sculptures by Hopkins and for additional intimacy and privacy the entire property is surrounded by a serenity wall. We stayed here for coachella weekend and had a great time. Many hotels had unusually high rates but the alpine gardens was affordable, cute, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a weekend getaway. They even provided large beach towels for the pool. Each morning we enjoyed a tasty continental breakfast in the lush peaceful garden before heading out to the festival. Its obvious the owners bill and tom take a lot of pride in the unique customization of the property and were helpful with any directions or questions we had about palm springs. When I forgot a personal item after checking out they tracked me down and mailed it back. a desert gem.
