Location good, but noisy near street. A musty smell inside which some might feel sick smelling. Owner came into my room while I was out, I'm pretty sure she was looking for something to steal as I have now read some of these reviews and my bag was unzipped inside and out not how I left it. Also, Something about her off. Wouldn't go back or recommend this house. But the town is lovely and a must see.

Freida is an awesome host. The room was cozy and comfortable.

Warning to All: please do not book here with Freda you will regret it. Not only was room filthy including stains on the sheets & urine oders, but most importantly I caught Freda inside my room trying to steal. I was coming back from a dinner meeting & saw her inside my room looking through my bags. I was very caught of guard and a bit nervous given her pushy demeanor so I didn't say anything and checked out. Upon leaving I stopped by a local cafe to tell them about the terrible experience I had & the informed me Fredas bed & breakfast has had MANY complaints regarding her forceful behavior towards patrons and entering their rooms while they are gone. They also told me her reviews are written by her family friends to keep her doors open. I'm very upset that I didn't do my research before booking here waste of money & I feel violated.

Could not have asked for a better experience. We were spoiled with treats and chocolates and advice for the best local places to visit around town. Very kind and hospitibal and I got a perfect nights sleep every night. I highly recommend this place, lots to do in walking distance as well.

Frida makes you feel at home immediately. Best breakfast you'll ever have. Just be open and talk and you'll be where you want to be.

WARNING TO ALL, Disgusting dont book.! This is a cluttered small one level home broken up into several rooms where the owner Freda portrays herself as the wholesome host which was not the case at all. Our towels were soiled, dust all over toilet bowl had stains, missing items from our bags upon check out. Contracted a lung virus from staying here not sure if from the food or urine smells. Talked to a local business owner who confirmed she is under investigation to be closed down & is putting on a show to get the most money she can before they shut her doors. She is known in this small town as a eye sore. Sadly this is not a B&B but cluttered house that is similar to a hostel. Would never recommend to anyone.

Always Inn is a dump don't waste your money on Fredas tall tales… I was in town for a conference & dined across the street come to find out this place is still open, shocking! We stayed here years ago and back then her place was in such disarray patios were beyond use full of junk! I was told she was getting shut down way back then. So be forewarned Fredas bad as a local business for the town that's why I tell all my travel buddy's you will regret if u book this place. This innkeeper is very minuplatice. We stayed for a vacation and will never forget the loud structure w/street party noise behind this small house & the transients from the streets coming up to our bedroom! Unkept room with dust and bed bugs. I was bit twice in the leg. Offered no refund for bug infesting in the bed. Stained unwashed blankets stained beach towels she refused to wash sheets had brown spots. Food was warm fruit and stale cookies. She would tell little story's of how shes such the sweetie pie of town & all her songs (yawn) my wife could see she was not authentic w motives. Book at your own risk for a dissapoinment or save your money for reputable run hotel this one falls short & seemed like a motel.

VERY dirty found bed bugs would not return. I was told city is shutting down this establishment. A shame because we love to visit SC for the clean air and accommodation choices, choose elsewhere this was the far most filthy we have stayed at.

An excellent choice if you are in town. Wonderful hosting and a brilliant breakfast. A must stay. Will be going back.

Great service, location close to shopping and the beach, I was able to walk everywhere. Comfortable room with great amenities. And you can't beat home cooked breakfast!

Stayed twice here and will return. Wonderful hospitality, great location.
